  Amazing is an Understatement

  Katelynn's incredible talent and flawless execution on our wedding day amazed us. She arrived ready to begin behind-the-scene shots, getting ready, and detail photos. Amidst the hustle of my own preparations, Katelynn needed no guidance to get started, which was really impressive.
  She helped us, our wedding party, and guests feel comfortable, and natural while takin pictures.
  
  One of the things that truly stood out was Katelynn's knack for quickly arranging posed photos with family and the wedding party. This ensured we could efficiently transition to our celebration. This detail was especially important to me, and Katelynn understood and executed it perfectly.
  
  The photos she captured were nothing short of amazing. They exuded a sense of uniqueness, fun, and had everyone raving at the photos.
  
  In addition, Katelynn's turnaround time was absolutely remarkable. She sent me a selection of pictures on the very same night of the wedding, followed by a few more the next day. By the time we returned from our honeymoon, the entire collection was ready.
  
  Katelynn consistently went above and beyond with her professionalism, clear communication, and remarkable skills. We genuinely consider ourselves fortunate to have discovered Katelynn, who beautifully documented the most important day of our lives.

  What a dream!

  Katelynn is so, so talented at what she does. As a type A bride, I knew I could stay in the moment and enjoy my wedding day while trusting Katelynn to capture our day down to every last detail. Not only was she very creative in finding photo spots around our venue, quick on her feet, and kept us one hour ahead of schedule (which is unheard of!), she also made us, our family, and bridal party very comfortable in front of the camera and let everyone be themselves—especially for some silly photos. Katelynn’s style was also perfect for our November wedding—moody but bright—exactly how we wanted the day captured. She goes above and beyond with no questions asked (including curling my hair right before I walked down the aisle) and is so timely with communication and sharing sneak peaks with us. Katelynn gave a couple suggestions for our timeline/flow of the day that made it that much better. She is a lifesaver, a hype girl, a friend, and an absolute amazing photographer. I couldn’t recommend her enough and plan to book her again in the future!

  Hire her!!! You WILL NOT regret it.

  We hired Katelynn for our non traditional intimate wedding ceremony in the woods with a casual backyard style party to follow. I immediately knew when looking through her portfolio her vibe was exactly what I wanted and was exactly what I got.
  
  Katelynn’s professional approach is perfect in my opinion. She is timely in her communication, she is confident in what she does, she is welcoming to client ideas but also isn’t afraid to help steer them in a direction if she feels it’s necessary in producing the best results and client experience.
  
  There was an unfortunate twist in my story (every bride has at least one) that was beyond anything she could control. She promptly called me morning of to regretfully tell me she was really sick. And I promise she wasn’t lying. Naturally it’s unsettling to hear this morning of, BUT, she VERY quickly put me at ease when she told me she already had a committed replacement for the day. She assured me that Allison was fully capable of doing an exceptional job capturing the evening just as I’d wanted.
  
  Reality is these things do happen but the fact that she was professionally and responsibly prepared for a “worst case scenario” makes her extremely reliable and is a huge reason why I’ll higher her again.
  
  Allison arrived right on cue already knowing the timeline for the day and all my photo preferences. All I had to do was let her do her thing. She had great energy.
  
  Allison then gave Katelynn the gallery to do the editing my photos (some couple hundred) and quickly got them back to me like two weeks sooner than I anticipated. And we’re OBSESSED!
  
  Working with Katelynn has been so much fun and such a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend her!

  Katelynn Kay Photography Review

  Katelynn is an amazing photographer! She was excellent in response time when I had questions and arrived early on the wedding day. I love the way she posed us and she captured the day beautifully! She was open to my ideas and was a trusted vendor on a day where you are juggling 100 things. Her editing is incredible which was my biggest concern when picking a photographer, I have seen great photos at weddings but the editing was always off and grainy looking. I am happy with every single photo she took and was super quick in getting them back to to me! My only feedback would be maybe more poses of different angles and how to look like you’re not trying to just stand and smile for people who aren’t “picture” people like my husband and I, but if you’re having a hard time choosing a photographer you cannot go wrong with Katelynn!!

  Excellent Images and Amazing Turn Around!

  I operate a Wedding Venue and meet lots of different wedding photographers. Katelynn was on time, kind, courteous, and brought a lot of great energy to the day. She did an excellent job capturing the couples special moments. She also has her images prepared shortly after the wedding which is very rare and super helpful to most people, including us as a Venue. Highly recommend!

  Katelynn was great from start to finish. She was very responsive, on time, and efficient. The energy she brought was top notch. Now for her photos!! She got most of my photos to me less than two weeks after my wedding (typical wait time is 4-6 weeks) and they are STELLAR, absolutely perfect! Her edits are light and airy leaving such a natural feel to them. I cannot express enough how amazing she is. 10/10 would recommend to anyone getting married or for any special occasion. WOW!

  I am so glad that I came across Katelynn Kay Photography. Katelynn was quick to respond, energetic, engaging and a lot of fun!   Katelynn's work speaks for itself, but what makes Katelynn truly amazing is her incredible personality! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and she is always so happy and gracious no matter what. She was able to handle difficult situations with ease and not miss a beat. Never a sigh or an eye roll, always a smile and a laugh! Not only is her personality special but her photos are as well! The pictures were absolutely jaw-dropping and we honestly couldn't be happier. The way she changed perspectives and her approach to photography was so creative and a joy to look at it. Katelynn without a doubt is unbelievably talented at photography! We are so thankful we found Katelynn and if you are reading this review, take it from us, you will be happy you had Katelynn capturing your wedding!   Katelynn is amazing!

  I am a wedding coordinator and we hired Katelynn for my sister's wedding. We wanted someone that would be a joy to be around, produce wonderful and sweet photos, and would be easy to work with. Katelynn was all of those things and more. She dealt with our surprise 95 degree weather day like a pro with ZERO complaints or excuses. She was a total pro and another bride of mine has hired her as well. We are doing our holiday photos with her as well because we know she is amazing with children which was such a plus! Her communication is also super responsive and kind which is so important to me as a coordinator :)

  Very professional and accommodating

  We chose Katelynn as our photographer and she was very responsive since the beginning. We met on Zoom and discussed our vision with her prior to the wedding, and she sent us a form to complete to make sure that she had a list of the pictures that we absolutely wanted to be taken with our bridal party and family members.

  We chose Katelynn as our photographer and she was very responsive since the beginning. We met on Zoom and discussed our vision with her prior to the wedding, and she sent us a form to complete to make sure that she had a list of the pictures that we absolutely wanted to be taken with our bridal party and family members.
  On the day of the wedding, she was very professional, fun and easy to work with.

  Perfect fit! Katelynn has a great personality and very easy to work with. She was up for adventure the day after the wedding in the Hoh Rainforest and a trip to Forks. Happy to work with her!

  Unprofessional

  From the beginning I was excited to work with katelynn. But come to find out she sent all our wedding photos to another editor because she booked more than she can handle. 1/2 of our pictures didn’t turn out and she ended up having to send them to me RAW and I had to have a family friend edit them for me. After we asked for some of our money back she refused and now we have to take legal actions to get some money back.
