  If you love GORGEOUS flowers, lush greenery, amazing little details AND are looking for the most INCREDIBLE floral designer / person on the planet, you would be absolutely insane to not hire Kate owner of Devon & Pinkett. Kate was actually the last vendor that I hired, after meeting with so, so many others. The second that I stepped foot into her studio I knew that we were going to hit it off and that she was going to totally get the aesthetic that I was looking for. It was almost as if I didn’t have to tell her what I wanted, she just knew based on how I was describing the vibe that I wanted my wedding to have. Flowers were where I really splurged, they can make or break a wedding in my opinion - but Kate is also so beyond creative in working within a budget. Not only did I swoon over every single detail, the weather reports lied to us and as soon as the cocktail reception was over it started to drizzle. Our dance floor was supposed to be outside, under the stars, surrounded by some incredible votives and greenery set up by Kate - but without one single person noticing, Kate along with my amazing wedding coordinator went into the tent and had to re-organize tables to accommodate for an indoor dance floor (with a band) but NO ONE ever noticed. Every SINGLE detail was EXACTLY what I had imagined in my mind, actually it surpassed all that I could have imagined. On top of the stunning bouquets, floral arrangements, the 4-table long suspended greenery, the swags on the chairs & on the bars, and so many other details… I got to have KATE! Picking a vendor that you love, that you would be friends with regardless, that you trust with every single fiber in your body is so important, and that is exactly who she is. There is no way that I would have ever been this happy if I were to have gone with another floral designer. I WAS AND STILL AM OBSESSED WITH MY FLOWERS. FOR REAL. I couldn’t recommend anyone else but Kate, you would be insane not to hire her.

  Fantastic design! The flowers and table arrangements for my husbands 50th surprise Birthday were so beautiful! Kate did a fabulous job! The ballroom at Congress Hall looked so put together once her designs where in place. She picked out beautiful palms and white hydrangeas (my favorite flower). I would work with Kate again in a heart beat. She was at the event that evening to make sure everything looked perfect, and she was a true professional. The products she used where top notch! Thank you Kate Farley Designs!

  Hire Kate Farley Design! If you are looking for a unique take on florals and decor, she is your girl. From our very first meeting, Kate blew me away. She is kind, professional and has an eye for detail. I shared with her my vision which was a modern take on a classic, Downtown Philadelphia wedding. This was not an easy task as I wished to incorporate jumbo balloons and candles in addition to your traditional floral centerpieces. Kate was able to deliver on this while also providing table numbers and easels for signage. She is truly a genius and the best at what she does and I received a million compliments as a result of her unbelievable work. Thank you Kate and team! You made my day so incredibly special!

  We chose Kate Farley as our wedding florist and cannot recommend her enough! She really understood our whimsical/ enchanted forest inspired decor and the floral arrangements she created were beyond stunning! Her prices were very reasonable compared to quotes from other florists and her finished product was superb. She made me the most gorgeous floral crown and was so kind to even pick it up from me the day before the wedding and drop it off again to me before my hair appointment the next day. The communication was excellent from start to finish and she sent the most beautiful sketches (what a talent!) to me of the design she envisioned based on what I described over the phone. She really "got it." She also set up moss as part of our base/runner, which we were looking for, and her arrangement of it was beautifully done and so elegant. Our flowers were arranged so that there was texture, dimension, varying heights, stunning color, and everything was just so lovely and perfect. Our guests raved about the decor! Thank you Kate for helping make our day perfect!

  One of the "wows" of the day were certainly the flowers done by Kate and her team. I was promised an amazing bouquet, and Kate certainly delivered. It was the star of the pictures, something that people are still commenting on even after the wedding. The centerpieces were no different -- a last minute request by us was honored, and the flowers really made the tables shine.
  Kate even helped us decorate our unconventional "cookie tower cake" by giving us extra flowers to help it come to life. We were truly lucky to have Kate's services, and would recommend her to any future brides and grooms!

  I am almost at a loss for words. Kate Farley has definitely found her calling in floral design and wedding styling. I brought Kate a mishmosh of ideas and requirements and a very confused theme for my wedding. From that, she created the most incredibly perfect wedding that I never could have imagined.   Kate is incredible. She did the calligraphy for our wedding invitations, as well as full-service florals, decor, and chalks for our wedding. The calligraphy was gorgeous - unique, but still classic. We received many compliments on the calligraphy and we were so proud that Kate's gorgeous handwriting was the first "preview" of our wedding! Kate also designed a rehearsal dinner/brunch invitation for us that was absolutely gorgeous. Kate truly outdid herself for our florals and decor. She scoured the world to get me some of the last coral charm peonies available to mankind...all the way from Holland! Our table arrangements, bouquets, and boutineers were a dream come true. The colors were perfect and they were exactly what we had envisioned. Her chalk designs were amazing as well...such a unique touch. Kate was kind, responsive, flexible, affordable, and eager to make our wedding dreams come true!!! Unlike some other vendors, she did not nickle and dime us, and treated us like valued clients AND people. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Although Kate does awesome chalkboard signs, she came up with even better ideas to fit our venue & style (Franklin Institute). She hand painted gorgeous Welcome, Signature Drinks, Sparkler and Unplugged signs for us using all of the colors in our color scheme plus gold leaf, which made everything sparkle a bit. They looked incredible & Kate is super talented!

  Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with! She did my chalk art for the wedding and it was gorgeous! I am from DC and she worked with me and did it on schedule which was so helpful. We got so many compliments on the chalkboard at the wedding. She is unbelievably talented!

  Kate is not only talented and creative, but she works with the client very closely, asks all the right questions and offers a design and price point that fits perfectly with the theme of the occasion and the budget of the client. Her knowledge of floral type, color, seasonality and availability is extensive so I would trust her to come up with just the right options. I was not disappointed when I entered the two venues of this exquisitely planned and decorated wedding ceremony and reception. Definitely the most beautiful wedding I had ever attended.

  Kate made a beautiful chalk design of our logo for when we have a booth at various functions.we keep it in a frame in our client room so when we meet with respective client we can show them how awesome her work is. She is on one of the vendors on our "vendors we love" list on our blog because her work in chalks and florals is beautiful. We have worked with her as well on a stylized photo shoot. And despite terrible snow she was there on time and with a smile on her face. and of course everything looked gorgeous.

  Kate Farley is without a doubt, one of the most talented designers I have ever met. She has the ability to envision what you want and inspire you to build on it, she is artistic in every sense of the word, and she is an absolute delight to work with. Kate made us the most beautiful wintery arrangements for our gigantic wedding party (1 bridal bouquet, 9 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 wrist corsages, and 15 boutonnieres, and a toss bouquet.) I planned our wedding from 3,000 miles away and her responsiveness was irreplaceable. Her creative designs and attention to detail are what make her stand above the rest. Would HIGHLY recommend time and time again!!!!

  She has an exquisite eye for detail, design and colors - one of the best decisions I made for my special day was to choose Kate for our floral and design services.

  I cannot say enough amazing things about Kate Farley and everything she helped with putting the finishing touches on my wedding look. Kate handwrote all of my invitation envelopes, my menu (both bar and dinner) on a chalkboard, and each table card for my guests on individual small chalkboards. Meeting with her was so comfortable and what she came up with in her head for the ideas I shared was beyond what I could have imagined myself. I never worried about timing with Kate and she always made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with (although that was ABSOLUTELY not the case, she had TONS of other brides with requests far larger than mine). I still have her menu's hung on the wall in my house and even saved some envelopes. Kate was one of my favorite vendors on what was one of my favorite days and will use her again for any event that would require the design asthetic that she does so perfectly. THANKS KATE :)

I never worried about timing with Kate and she always made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with (although that was ABSOLUTELY not the case, she had TONS of other brides with requests far larger than mine). I still have her menu's hung on the wall in my house and even saved some envelopes. Kate was one of my favorite vendors on what was one of my favorite days and will use her again for any event that would require the design asthetic that she does so perfectly. THANKS KATE :)

  Better than I could’ve imagined!

  I worked with Kate from Devon & Pinkett for my wedding this past July. Our vision for the wedding was wild and romantic garden vibes and Kate’s team executed this vision SO perfectly, better than I could’ve ever imagined. She stuck with my budget and helped me make adjustments along the way to assure that I would stay on track. Communication could have been better at times during the planning process but the final product did not suffer. They were totally on top of it the day of and remembered every detail I had asked for. They set up all of our personal items and decorations as well, and delivered everything back to my parents’ after the wedding, along with ALL of the flowers for a brunch the next day. If you are looking for a tasteful, creative, and reasonably priced florist who will just get your vision to a tee AND surpass it, Devon & Pinkett is the one for you.
