Kate + Adri Brought Our Park City Wedding Vision To Life & More!
We worked with Kate and Adri for just over a year on our wedding at Kimball Terrace in Park, City in September 2025, and to say it was the best decision we made is the understatement of the century.
From the get-go, Kate and Adri were organized, broke down the process in steps that were easy to manage/follow. They were our best and most trusted advisors on each and every detail. We live in FL and were planning our wedding mostly remotely, and we felt so confident with each and every vendor.
Kate and Adri also have the most beautiful eye for wedding design. My husband was in awe when we went to see our mock table set up during the planning process and everything looked incredible.
Ahead of the wedding, Kate and Adri went into overdrive making sure every detail would be perfect. All my friends and co-workers kept asking me in the weeks leading up to my wedding how I was feeling and how I was so calm and easygoing, and I owe it all to Kate and Adri! Throughout the whole wedding planning and day-of wedding, Kate and Adri made us feel like royalty and we all (my husband and I and our families) kept saying 'Thank goodness for Kate and Adri, we could not do this without them.'
I would highly, highly recommend working with Kate and Adri if they are available for your wedding date. It will be the best decision you make for your wedding (and yourself!)!

Could not give a more glowing recommendation!
We worked with Kate and Adri to plan both the rehearsal dinner and wedding for our daughter, and the experience was absolutely incredible. I truly cannot overstate how wonderful Kate and her entire team were throughout the entire process. Every single detail—big and small—was taken care of with thoughtfulness, professionalism, and a smile.
They anticipated our needs, provided a wide range of options without ever making us feel overwhelmed, and communicated clearly every step of the way. The coordination and execution were flawless. The biggest compliment I can give is this: looking back on the entire weekend, there isn't a single thing I would change—and that is entirely thanks to Kate and her team's dedication and expertise.
Anyone looking for a planner in the Park City area would be lucky to have them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate and Adri to anyone planning a special event—you’ll be in the best possible hands. -

A worry-free wedding with Kate Elizabeth Events!
Kate was our month-of coordinator and she and Adri took all of the stress out of the final month of wedding planning and made our wedding day amazing. It was so great to meet with them before the wedding and hear them say "we'll take it from here." They were so organized and so wonderful to work with. They did a great job communicating with us and the vendors and my daughter's wedding went off without a hitch. I would recommend them to anyone! I got to enjoy my daughter's wedding day instead of worrying over any of the details. -

Just amazing!!!
I could not say enough great things about Kate and her team. We worked with Kate and Adri using their 6-week coordination services. They were fantastic!!! They were both SO organized and professional yet listened to the things that were important to me and what I wanted to get out of my wedding day. They made sure the timeline ran smoothly and my husband and I were fed, hydrated, and happy throughout the night. My wedding day went off without a hitch, and I seriously owe it all to them!!! Plus, they were so kind to my flower girls, ring bearers, and other friends and family members. I will recommend them to everyone I know getting married! -

Making Remote Wedding Planning a Breeze!
I am so grateful for Kate and Adri for their guidance and expertise planning our Deer Valley wedding in June 2024. We were wary of planning a wedding in Utah while located in Chicago, but Kate and Adri made it a breeze. The duo even helped prepare a mock-up for us when we visited in December for our tasting. Seeing our vision come to life in person eased our worries and made us that much more excited for June!
Don't let her Instagram fool you, Kate has an eye for design beyond elegant white roses and black tuxes. We challenged her to style our event with bright pops of color - pinks, oranges, and creams - and she created a gorgeous, cohesive, and fun reception space that perfectly captured what we wanted.
Kate and Adri are well-connected and provided key intel on a variety of wedding vendors. When we opted for vendors outside her network, it wasn't a problem and our vendors were easily brought into the fold. We're particularly thankful for her suggestions for our florist and DJ, as our families still talk about the flowers and dancing.
I am thrilled to recommend Kate and her team to future couples.-

Brought our Dream Wedding to Life
Kate and her team were a blessing to us throughout our planning process and on our wedding day! As a planner myself, I know how important it is to have a detail-oriented, kind, and professional coordination team to fulfill your wedding day vision and Kate and Adri are no exception. From the first inquiry call I had with Kate, I knew we needed to work with her. She’s personable, flexible, and incredibly professional and her personal style matched my own wedding vision (which is important whether you are selecting a coordinator or a partial/full wedding planner/designer). Even though we did not “officially” start working with her until 6 weeks ahead (as per our month-of coordination contract), she provides plenty of high quality resources to get you going. Whenever I reached out, Kate was always prompt in her responses. In terms of our wedding events, she ran the rehearsal efficiently and clearly and our wedding day was PERFECT. Whether it was last minute guest cancellations that were adjusted on our seating chart or shifting the schedule when snowy weather caused some hiccups, the KEE team navigated them all flawlessly. They translated my designs perfectly from concept to reality. As the wedding couple, we felt well taken care of as they consistently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. If there were any major issues on our wedding day we still have no idea which is the sign of a top-tier planning team. I would choose Kate and Adri again in a heartbeat to be a part of our special day. -

Your dream destination wedding awaits
We had a wonderful experience with Kate Elizabeth events. We chose to work with them based on their wonderful reviews and like so many others, we had an incredible experience in working both with Kate and Sophia. Being based in NY, we needed a planner who could help us bring our vision to life and Sophia did just that. Not only did she help us connect with the right vendors, but also acted as a valuable resource responding to our emails within 24 hours (most of the time it was a matter of hours). This is an incredibly busy time in the wedding industry and we really appreciated how thoughtful, responsive and helpful the Kate Elizabeth team is. They truly made our vision come to life all the way from NY. We can’t recommend them enough! -

Absolute dream
I don't even know where to begin with Kate!! She is one of the happiest and most organized people I have come to know. I came to her only a few weeks before my wedding with hardly anything booked and Kate took care of absolutely everything. She made the planning process extremely enjoyable and stress-free. Her expert opinions and experience not only made sure that I as the bride was getting the wedding of my dreams, but she knew what little details to include to ensure the guests enjoyed themselves as well. Her relationship and contact with vendors helped me even get discounts for their services. She put every detail together beautifully and even though I am so indecisive, she helped me figure out what I liked and wanted.
THE BEST THING ABOUT KATE is that on the day of the wedding she took care of absolutely everything. I had an outdoor wedding and a sudden wind storm came in causing the arch and centerpieces to fall over and break. The florist wanted to just get rid of the arch Kate and I had designed instead of trying to rush and rebuild it. Kate handled the situation amazingly and found a way to work with the florist to rebuild the arch, all while keeping the guests entertained and things running smoothly. I truly felt like she was on my side and was my advocate in creating the perfect day. Her price is cheap compared to other wedding planners I considered and I felt that her professionalism and work was worth way more than what I paid. All of my sisters all plan on using her when it comes time for their weddings. I LOVE KATE!!!-

Could not have been better!!
Having Kate as our wedding planner was by far the best decision we could have made. She was a joy to work with and was the calm presence we needed in times of stress while planning our wedding. Not only did she get us ready for our original planned date, but she completely tackled the issue of replanning our wedding due to COVID!! We live out of state and there is no way that we could have had the day of our dreams without her help. She was fantastic on the day of and her team was very professional. Having them on our wedding significantly reduced the stress on my bride and me. I would recommend her as their wedding planner for anyone that is hoping to get married in the state of Utah without hesitation. -

July Wedding
We had a fabulous experience with Kate! She is so on top of it and helped us plan two weddings (thanks COVID). We had a change of venue, food, and city and Kate was calm and collected. She made sure that I (the bride) had input into everything and made sure I was happy during the entire experience. It was so nice to have her the day of as my "babysitter." Even the photographer and vendors commented on how wonderful Kate was and communicative. They said they knew exactly what to do and when. Everything flowed seamlessly and I credit Kate for this! She is amazing and cannot recommend her enough! -

I can't recommend Kate and her team enough! I've worked with her a couple of times now, and every event she plans goes perfectly! Her eye for design makes everything come together so beautifully. Kate and her team were absolutely fabulous. Kate has a wonderful eye for details and did a great job of helping me make my vision come to life. Kate and her team were highly professional! I can't recommend them enough. Leading up to our wedding, Kate helped me make sure every detail was covered and that our day was a total success. On the day of our wedding Kate absolutely shone! She took care of everything, handled the little bumps that came up, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Kate has connections to fantastic vendors and made sure my weird requests were handled. Kate is spectacular
She is truly amazing and we could not have had such a seamless wedding without her. Kate was on top of everything. To give you background, I was 85% planned on my own and then decided months before the wedding to hire a “day-of” coordinator to help me. This was the best decision BY FAR. She made everything fluid and was in charge the entire day. There was never a moment I felt my anxiety heightened because she was there to handle it all. If you’re deciding between going for a planner not, look no more because Kate is your woman! -

Mother of the bride.
Kate was wonderful to work with! From the very beginning she was reassuring and professional. I am the mother of the bride and because the luncheon was on the same day I was sure I couldn’t decorate or enjoy the day if I was concerned about it all. She worked with the venue and any vendors coming in. She saved us by seeing that the chairs we thought we rented weren’t. Her and her team took the vision of the bride and decorated. I honestly did not worry and enjoyed the day and night. It was the best decision I made to hire her. I don’t have photos of the reception yet or I would upload them. -

Highly Reccomend
Kate and her team coordinated our wedding day in Salt Lake City this fall. They were professional and on top of every detail. We didn’t realize we had to have a coordinator at our venue and it caused a lot of last minute stress. After we found Kate all went smoothly. She planned our timelines for both our families and the vendors then did all the seating arrangements and transportation. She also helped with our room layout because we had not idea how to organize the venue we rented. We were soo grateful to not have to worry about how everything would pull together... it just worked!! I would highly recommend Kate Elizabeth Events to anyone who needs a coordinator. It let us enjoy our wedding day more than we ever imagined!! -

I would have never been able to pull off our wedding without Kate. Everything was great! We had her as our day of planner and the week before. It was so great to not have to worry about vendors or anything. The week before we got to spend time with family and she took care of the rest. Our wedding in late September happened to be the only weekend it had rained in weeks but not to worry Kate had everything under control. The wedding went on without a hitch and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. Kate is very accommodating, stayed in communication with us and all of our vendors. Kate is Great! Not only is she an amazing person, but she is an amazing Wedding Planner! My favorite thing about Kate is how well she covers every little detail of a wedding. She perfectly plans and accommodates every idea or special request. She is well experienced in coordinating all aspects of wedding: ceremony, cocktail hour, grand entrance, dinner, reception, dancing, etc. She is great at time management, negotiating, and solving problems. Kate has a great eye for design! She has an amazing personality with a great sense of style! There is no one I would trust more to be my wedding planner! -

Bad experience
I hate having to write a bad review especially because overall I did enjoy my wedding day! But the joy of my wedding is purely because of my husband, family and friends despite the poor job done by my planner. I, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with this company, specifically working with Sophia, one of the planners. I have included my full (very long review below) that I sent to Kate, the owner of the company. My understanding is that Sophia may not be with the company for long but overall I was still unhappy with how things turned out and was not pleased with the offered resolution and feel obligated to help prevent this experience for other brides:

I wanted to give you some feedback about the poor experience we had working with Sophia through your company, Kate Elizabeth. I have given it several weeks from the wedding to reflect on how things played out before I gave you my feedback. I plan to post this on the Knot and Wedding Wire but thought you should be able to see it before I posted.
-The hiring process: Difficulties started out when I consulted with Kate (the owner) about hiring her to plan my wedding. She sent me over a contract which I signed. It wasn’t until after we had started the planning process that I was informed that Kate would not be my wedding planner but instead one of her partners, Sophia. That was the end of Kate’s involvement.
Overall, I found Sophia to be poorly organized and reactive instead of proactive, which is very frustrating for someone whose job revolves around attention to detail. There are dozens of instances (the biggest which I have outlined below) of circumstances in which she missed items, and it wasn’t until we brought it to her attention that she was able to work on fixing it.
Coordination the day before: Sophia single handedly made me 45 minutes late to my rehearsal. We had planned to meet up before the rehearsal to swap items. I reminded her several hours earlier that she had our rehearsal dinner clothing in the suitcases and so it would be essential that we meet on time so we could get them out and ironed. I gave Sophia my room number. Instead of coming to my room, she sat in the lobby. I then reached out to her and told her that Rob (my husband) was coming down to get the items from her. She confirmed. Then, she sent the items with a bellhop from the hotel across the street despite our plan. It took 45 minutes to track down the bags and we were very late to the rehearsal, causing a significant amount of stress. She also left without collecting the items we were supposed to give her. I have no idea why we did not meet as discussed and why she thought a drop off was appropriate instead of meeting up.
Day of coordination: Coordination the day of was extremely disorganized. First, Sophia was not on site the day of my wedding until 11AM, which I know is in line with the contract. The bridesmaids started getting ready at 7AM. During this time, I sent several texts over to Sophia about how we were running behind on hair and makeup due do poor planning (discussed below). Still, she never came over to ensure things were running smoothly and offer any assistance when she did arrive. When it came time to get the guests to the venue and back (1 mile away) Sophia had significant difficulty coordinating the transportation. She did not help coordinate the wedding party getting in the limo leading to an extra trip (or two) and causing the limo to be late to pick me up. I ended up 40 minutes late to the wedding. Additionally, she was unable to coordinate the guests. I spoke to my guests who were in the final bus who all agreed they were at the place they were told to go to but there was no bus there. During this whole time, I went from taking photos and had no idea where to go afterwards. Sophia saw me in the hall and told me to go somewhere out of sight. I ended up sitting for a full hour in the hotel spa, by myself which was stressful. Once again poorly thought-out planning. Finally, the limo just never showed back up to pick us up after the event and Sophia really did not thing to coordinate it or follow up with the vendor afterwards to get a refund.
Contracts: Sophia had very little knowledge of what was written in our contracts leading to stress and confusion in the weeks leading up to the wedding. One easily identified example was with the furniture rental company. We signed a contract with Vault. This contract states that the furniture would be picked up on the day of the event. Months later in January we receive an email from Sophia stating we owe an additional fee because the furniture can’t be picked up on the weekend. Apparently, this is true across the board for rental companies in SLC. However, Sophia never read over the original contract and noticed this.
The second major issue was planning the hair and makeup. We hired Mindy, which was one of your recommended vendors. We hired her for hair and makeup for 9 bridesmaids and the two mothers. Sophia gave us a schedule for getting ready two days before the wedding and on it there was only one hair and makeup artist for all 9 girls—to get ready in 5 hours. I had asked for this schedule several weeks before and several times before actually getting to it so that we would not have last minute issues like this. Once again, Sophia had no foresight to see that this was a problem and stated she thought Mindy could get it done. It wasn’t until we insisted on hiring a second person that Sophia brought a second stylist to come in for only part of the time to do 3 bridesmaids’ hair. Even with this, it wasn’t enough and we ran very late getting hair and makeup done and my mother and sister were not ready in time for the photos of me getting ready. My mother’s makeup was so rushed her eyelashes fell off before we left for the ceremony. I do not have a single photo with my sister (my MOH) getting ready since her makeup was not done until I was walking down for my first look. We only got one photo getting ready in our matching pajamas and my sister had no makeup on her face. In speaking with my sister’s wedding planner (her wedding is next month) she mentioned that she would never let the MOH and MOB go last for hair and makeup to prevent this issue. Again, I mentioned weeks before asking how many people Mindy would be bringing and Sophia never bothered to follow up on it until the week of the wedding.
Decorations: There were several design issues. 1) Kate, when we met for the tasting we agreed that the napkins would be folded around the menus. We confirmed this with Sophia. Instead, the menus were simply placed on the napkins. 2) there was one type flower I told Sophia that I did not want was the anthurium flower and what did I see on at least 1/3 of my centerpieces—this flower. It is frustrating that we spent hours coordinating this type of thing to have my wishes ignored and honestly, I don’t even think Sophia noticed these things because again, lack of attention to detail. 3) Finally, we paid $2000 for furniture and heater rentals for the outside patio. We spent dozens of emails and even some phone calls discussing this area and attempting to ensure that it was usable the day of the wedding. During the event, there was absolutely no lighting in the area so 90% of the guests I have spoken to did not know that there was an area for us to use. In addition, Sophia had the furniture places all the way in the back of the patio so none could see it. We actually never laid eyes on the furniture.
Unprofessional: When I received my album from my photo booth, the first fifteen or so photos were all of Sophia posing. The photo booth was set up in the middle of dinner when Sophia should have been working. I would have understood one set of photos, especially if she was going to write a note in our book. But this many was unprofessional. We also heard from multiple vendors—including Mindy and Heather that Sophia had been speaking poorly about working with us. My mother and I are both professionals (I am a physician and she is a lawyer) and trust me, we have our share of patients or clients that we find irksome—however, it is a mark of professionalism to still perform your job without gossiping despite your feelings about your clients.
Lack of attention to detail: Little details such as (1) having a copy of the wedding invitation on hand for the photographers to take pictures—something not addressed by Sophia. She did not provide them the day of or even remind us to bring them out. Almost every wedding album I have seen includes these. (2) Rob and I were never able to try our appetizers and did not have a drink available when we arrived at cocktail hour. I also was not able to have a piece of the almond cake that we specifically ordered a small layer because it is my favorite. Small details that a planner usually coordinates. Other things like the month before my wedding and she doesn’t know how many bridesmaids and groomsmen we had.
Lack of consideration for items: Sophia left all my stuff in the ballroom overnight including my card/gift box and I have no clue if anything was taken from it. She did not ensure all the items I wanted came back to me and I had to pay $50 to have my cake topper mailed to me once the venue was able to track it down.
Our expectations were high as they should have been but even if Sophia found us demanding, her response was totally unprofessional and more important, showed a true lack of caring whether my wedding met my expectations. This is what she does but it felt like her first wedding or something. her calling. If you say my expectations are too high, I will remind you that this is my second wedding; I have experience with a wedding planner before. My prior planner handled a wedding twice the size in DC and we did not have ANY of these issues. Additionally, my sister is getting married this month in San Diego—her wedding is also twice the size and her planner and the attention to detail is what one would reasonably expect-- we have already seen dozens of contrasting examples of the difference in someone who is detail focused, proactive and professional.
This disappointment in being so disregarded by the person who is supposed to assure one’s wedding is a success is indescribable. Sophia should not be in this business, but I blame Kate & Elizabeth for being so out of touch with its clients.
