We just had our wedding at the Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore, MD and genuinely, hiring Kate and her team was the best decision we made through our entire wedding journey!
Kate is such a kind, lovely, bubbly person and as a vendor, she clearly has a natural talent and so much passion for her craft!
Our engagement shoot with Kate went so incredibly well–both how the experience felt and how the photos turned out–that my husband and I felt so calmly confident going into the wedding that no matter how the event went, we knew we were going to get amazing pictures out of it. And we were correct!
The wedding photos came out SO beautifully. It was the perfect mix of classic wedding portraits with our families, nostalgic and chic film shots, and gorgeous editorial images that made it look like our wedding was featured in Vogue.
Working with Kate on the day went so well, we have no notes! She had us feeling calm and present and also joyful, with her upbeat energy, the entire day. And as a bride who doesn’t feel super natural in front of the camera, she made me feel so pretty and confident. She seamlessly kept us on track on time, directed our portraits in a way that didn’t make us feel awkward on camera, framed candids with our favorite people, weaved through the reception so quietly we barely realized we were getting photographed during the fun parts, and captured the beauty of the venue so well. We appreciated that she noticed the little details–like making sure we got shots of any poses we included in our inspo board or protecting us from a minor wedding logistics stressor when we were trying to prepare for the emotional first look moment! Her husband Tony and assistant Madi were also wonderful and the three of them worked so hard all day, put us at ease, and treated all the guests so warmly. Our friends and family raved to us about how much they enjoyed interacting with Kate and the team.
This is an overly descriptive review but just wanted to share how much we’re obsessed with Kate for any future couples looking for an extremely talented, artistic, and reliable photographer for their wedding!

Kate captured our wedding in the most beautiful, creative, and authentic way! My husband and I are photoshoot people, but, at both the wedding and our engagement session, Kate literally worked magic! The photos were one of the things we were MOST stressed about when we first started planning our wedding, but Kate (and Tony!) made the whole experience flawless! -

We truly cannot say enough good things about Kate – she was one of the absolute highlights of both our wedding day and our planning experience. From start to finish, she brought the most incredible energy. Kate is a genuine ray of sunshine who instantly made everyone feel comfortable, excited, and at ease.
One piece of advice our planner shared with us was that you spend ALL DAY with your photographer – and it didn’t fully sink in until the wedding day itself just how impactful that is on the overall mood, energy, and flow of your day. I promise you: Kate is the person you want to spend your wedding day with. She was a calming presence when needed, a spark of joy that elevated the fun, and the organized queen who allows you to fully relax and enjoy every moment. Some of my husband’s and my favorite memories from the day are the in-between moments we shared with Kate – she was our hype girl, family, friend, and guide all in one.
Beyond her warmth and positivity, Kate is hands-down the most professional photographer we have ever worked with. She is impeccably organized, an absolute pleasure to communicate with, and somehow remembered every detail – while also picking up on things we didn’t even think to vocalize. Her stunning portfolio truly speaks for itself, but it’s her energy behind the camera that sticks with you.
What sets Kate apart is how deeply she cares about her couples and their vision. Her thoughtful, extensive questionnaire helped us clarify our priorities and expectations for the day, and then she flawlessly transformed those notes into a seamless plan – ultimately, into a reality that captured our wedding more beautifully and comprehensively than we could have imagined.
Kate and her team noticed relationships we didn’t think to mention, details we forgot to write down, and quiet, meaningful moments we didn’t even realize were happening until we saw them in the album. She is a complete professional in every sense of the word.
Kate and her husband Tony are an unstoppable duo – moving furniture, adjusting plants, even sweeping floors – whatever it took to make sure every photo was perfect. Their level of care, hustle, and attention to detail is unmatched, and it shows in every single image.
We were already obsessed with our sneak peeks and didn’t think it was possible to be more impressed, but our full wedding album left us completely speechless. Kate and Tony captured moments, details, and guests beyond our dreams – exactly as the day felt: full of life, expression, movement, and emotion. Did we mention she also delivered everything ahead of schedule? We are still in awe of the artistry and quality of our photos.
Trusting Kate with our day, our memories, and our photos was one of the best decisions we made. My entire family still talks about her! If you are lucky enough to work with Kate, she doesn’t just become your wedding photographer – she becomes family.
Kate and her team are worth every single penny, and we would choose her again a hundred times over. We cannot recommend her highly enough and are endlessly grateful for her. -

Kate Ann was truly wonderful to work with from start to finish. She brought such a warm, genuine presence to the day and immediately put everyone at ease — something our wedding party mentioned again and again. Despite nonstop rain, Kate Ann stayed upbeat and creative, turning what could have been a challenge into something really special. After booking our venue, Kate was the first vendor we hired and it was the best decision we made. She set the tone for the team we wanted for our wedding day: incredibly kind, talented, detail-oriented, always ready to listen, supportive, and committed to making our wedding day a dream. Our wedding weekend was a crazy one -- from rainy weather to parade road closures -- and she never flinched. Kate and Tony worked together so smoothly the day of -- adapting and adjusting accordingly. Our photos are an absolute dream. Kate's power is capturing those small moments you don't even realize are worthy of capturing, but then when you see the photo, you can't help but wish you could go back to that very second. We could not have asked for a better photographer to be a part of our special day! Do yourself and your wedding the blessing of hiring her -- you won't regret it. -

Absolutely pleasure to have Kate be a big part of my wedding!
We are so very happy that Kate and Tony were a part of our special day! My husband and I could not get over the teamwork Kate and Tony had together, keeping everything going, making everything so smooth and absolutely bringing the best energy. I can be awkward in front of the camera, but Kate made us feel very special and was SO supportive. I could not have asked for a better photographer team to be a part of our special day!

We interviewed several photographers, and Kate's attitude and positivity immediately stood out to us. I love her style because you can tell even her raw images are truly artistic and visionary, and her editing is subtle. So many wedding photographers seemed to over-edit their images, but Kate did just the right touches. To my husband and I, Kate and her team were worth every penny – we chose to add her for an extra night for our rehearsal dinner and extra hours for our wedding – our only regret was not doing an additional engagement shoot with her! When you pay for Kate, you're getting the best photographer in the area. Her whole team was so professional, positive, funny, and FUN on our wedding day that they truly put us at ease to the point where taking pictures was one of our favorite memories of the day. She is such a cool and confident person, and her images reflect that. She was able to take my vision and run with it, providing even more than I could have thought of. She made some suggestions for photos that we'll hang in our home for generations. Overall, I'd describe my wedding photos as chic, expressive, and classic. Love them so much. -

I would give Kate 6 stars if I could! She was our photographer for our wedding, rehearsal dinner, and engagement shoot and we had a simply incredible time with her.
From the beginning, Kate was up front and communicative. On her website, she has a minimum spend before you even contact her which is great. She also has an inclusivity statement on her website, which I really appreciated during my search for a photographer.
After I contacted her, Kate promptly set up a meeting where she explained her offerings, and then she sent me a customized proposal laying out the various options. Again it was clear, and she promptly answered my questions. Once we booked her, we quickly set up our engagement shoot.
For our engagement shoot, my then fiancé and I were nervous--we had never done anything like this before! But Kate guided us through everything, met us where we are, and had several tricks up her sleeve to prompt natural reactions. Our engagement photos turned out absolutely STUNNING--my parents who had been shell shocked about wedding prices in general were immediately like "Oh, she was worth the investment."
During the planning process, Kate was incredible. She basically came up with the day of schedule that we used, and was very open to feedback and questions. She helped us maintain reasonable expectations about how long things would take on the day of, what a group shot with 15+ people would actually entail, and shared her wealth of knowledge about weddings with us. I felt so confident in her ability to manage getting all the shots we wanted.
At the rehearsal dinner, Kate brought Tony as a second shooter/photographer's assistant and they were an iconic team. Tony had a shot list of all the requested photos we wanted, and was able to grab people efficiently so we could get through photos and enjoy the event. Kate is also number one hype woman, giving us prompts and suggestions to again elicit those natural, joyous reactions to be captured in photos.
The day of the wedding, Kate and Tony arrived early and jumped right into action, taking flat lays, scouting photo locations, and getting the lay of the land. Tony was an efficiency KING! He kept us on schedule, he was polite but firm with folks when we needed them for photos, and he managed the overall chaos of a wedding party that had six children in it. Kate was one again a hype woman queen, making us feel comfortable and relaxed for all of our shots. She has creative prompts to get people to be authentic in photos, and she also gently pushed us outside our comfort zone to get some moodier, artsy shots which we do love. Together, they are an excellent duo who are EXTREMELY worth the investment!!! She also managed to deliver earlier than expected for both our engagement shoot and our post wedding sneak peak.
My now husband and I had an awesome time working with them, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer with experience, talent, an eye for light and composition, and a wonderful ability to bring out the best in people.

Our experience with Kate has been amazing. First, we found her on Instagram before we got engaged and knew that when the time was right for us, she would be our wedding photographer. Our feelings were confirmed when we had first started the conversation - At first, she wasn’t available the day of our wedding, but she had made room in her schedule to cover our wedding, which we were extremely grateful for. We knew that a couple of days before our wedding, we had to implement a rain plan. Kate had already had a rain photography plan that when we engaged with her on the changes we had to make, she already had ideas for us on alternative locations. She was a proactive partner, which we were grateful for. It definitely rained during our wedding, but because of her planning and Tony’s attentiveness to make sure we stayed on schedule, we never felt rushed with our wedding portraits and family formals. Also, because of her creativity, our wedding portraits so far have turned out amazing. We’ve gotten many compliments on our sneak peaks, and we’re so excited to see the rest and display them around our house. -

Hiring Kate was seriously one of the best choices we could've made for our wedding. From our very first meeting she was so professional, detail oriented, and also very kind and interested in getting to know us. First she shot our engagement photos, and she did such a great job of helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were blown away by how gorgeous the engagement photos were and we knew the wedding photos would be incredible as well. On the wedding day, we had a tight photography schedule involving multiple locations, but Kate and her husband Tony are total pros and kept everything running smoothly and on time!
Kate is also the most prepared person I've ever met in my entire life- she came to the rescue with a tide pen when I got an unexpected stain on my dress, she had bug spray when we were getting bitten by mosquitos at one of our photo locations, etc! She was always calm and collected, which was really helpful to have her as a calming presence on such a busy and exciting day.
We recently got our sneak peek photos back and we are just blown away. They are absolutely stunning and we can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so much Kate and Tony for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! -

We absolutely loved working with Kate for our wedding photography. She is incredibly talented, kind, calming, and organized as well. I really appreciated her attention to detail throughout the planning process (about both logistics, as well as getting to know my husband and me!) and how prepared she was with everything, including making sure we had a rain plan at the last minute and helping coordinate a backup destination for our first look photos, even scoping out the location the day before the wedding to make sure we got good shots. The time we spent together for our first look is honestly one of my favorite memories from the day, even though it was totally different than what we had originally planned. Kate pivoted with ease and allowed us to feel calm, happy, and present on our wedding day. Her unique style and intimate connection with couples was what drew me to book her in the first place, and that emotion clearly comes through in the photos she captured. Wedding photography is an investment, and I'm happy to say that we truly felt booking Kate was worth every penny and that we were in good hands throughout the process. Kate Ann was a delight to work with. From start to finish we felt that Kate truly understood our vision for our wedding day and captured the essence of the day so perfectly. Kate arrived early, left late, and was key to supporting our decision to get a day-of coordinator to support our wedding timeline and ensure that the day went smoothly. The day goes by so quickly, but thanks to Kate's incredible gift, we are left with photos that remind us of the details of the day so vividly.
Our photos took place in three different indoor settings as well as outdoor portraits and in February, natural lighting can be limited, but she produced incredible images under such a variety of lighting conditions! -

Beautiful, timeless images
What sets Kate apart is her ability to capture emotions authentically and artistically. Our wedding day was full of emotions, and Kate captured all of them perfectly- from the laughter to the tears. Looking at her photos is like reliving the day itself! We were speechless at how amazing the photos turned out- not cheesy, posed, or stiff at all (that was my biggest fear for wedding photos). It has been hard to gather the right words to say just how amazing Kate was through out our whole wedding planning process and beyond! From the initial discovery call until now, 5 months from our wedding, she has gone above and beyond. So happy with our photos!
We had an amazing experience with Kate Ann and her team! We wanted photos that would feel timeless (not cookie-cutter) and really capture the true emotions and details of our day and they did just that! She goes above and beyond to make sure you get a variety of shots and they truly hustled non-stop on our wedding day. AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! BEAUTIFUL! These words not only describe Kate herself, but her photographs are gorgeous. You will be so happy if you reserve Kate for your wedding. We wanted to book a photographer we felt comfortable with and we placed a lot of value on our photos as we knew we would not have a full video of the day. Kate's work really speaks for itself and after viewing her photos and hearing from a friend they had a great experience with her, we wanted to book her quickly. Once we had out first call with Kate, we knew she would be so great to work with! Kate is responsive and made us feel comfortable. She did our engagement photos and she really has a way of capturing the small moments :) For our wedding day, she really valued what we wanted and took time to help us plan out the photos. Best Wedding Photographer Ever!
I can not say enough wonderful things about Kate! She is very professional and knows how to capture beautiful photographs. She literally stopped traffic to make sure she got the perfect shot. throughout the whole day she was not only taking pictures, but creating the perfect lighting, fluffing my dress, fixing my veil, and pumping me up! She made me feel like the most beautiful bride! She acted as my "wedding bestie" with loads of advice, timeline suggestions, and encouraging words. I cannot recommend her enough.
Also- I want to give a shout out to her husband who acted as her assistant. He made sure we stuck to the timeline and took great care of Kate so she could take care of us. What an amazing duo! -

What I enjoy about Kate is her ability to effortlessly capture intimate moments that not only visually, but emotionally transport me to one of the happiest days of my life. Priceless. I personally have an anxiousness that makes it hard for me to relax in general, let alone in front of a camera, but her gentle presence somehow coaxed from me an album’s worth of authentically beautiful memories of my day. And I had fun!!! Her shooting/editing style has a softness that made the romantic haze that was my wedding day tangible. I’m not concise when it comes to sentences so here are some adjectives Kate’s photography is serving:
Earthy - in tone and down to earth - hope that makes sense
Soft
Intimate
Cozy
Familiar
Attention to detail - this is a big one for me bc alot goes over my head when I’m overwhelmed. So looking back at her photos I can truly appreciate the moment, or feel like I was there, even if I physically wasn’t.
Those are just some things that really made her stand out to me from other photographers. Having her was a lovely experience, before, during and after. She was also so supportive, kind, and got me pumped throughout my wedding process! She totally made me feel special. Oh, and very willing to accommodate. Even when things changed last minute, she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I wanted and then some !! :D !!!
You will not regret booking her, even if you are on a budget. Her natural talent to envelope the viewer into a beautiful world from her photos alone is magical & priceless. I'm so happy I have these photos for the rest of my life!! -

Kate was our wedding photographer - we happened upon her when our original photographers had to back out with months to go - and what an amazing coincidene that Kate had a cancellation for our wedding date! We were completely speechless and overwhelmed with happiness looking through our wedding pictures!! Kate captured every moment, every feeling, and every bit of love from our wedding day. Looking through the pictures made us feel like we were reliving the day all over again and we can't stop smiling! Not only did she perfectly capture the raw emotions that we were feeling that day, but also our friends and family which was is so special.
We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, so we had the pleasure of working and planning with Kate for 3 years and the time and energy that she gives to her brides is unmatched! I could not recommend her more. We will cherish these photos for a lifetime to come!

You will not regret hiring Kate as your photographer. I seriously keep looking at my gallery from my wedding day and these are the words that I can't stop saying; "Wow! Beautiful! Wow! I love it!" I know I shouldn't be, because I knew she was good, but I was so surprised to see all the amazing, high quality pictures she was able to take on such a crazy and rushed day!
My husband & I had never taken professional pictures before and I was worried our pictures would come out a little stiff, but she was really good at helping us relax and gave us good cues for how to 'pose' without really posing.
She was also helpful during the planning stages for the day of timeline and throughout the entire experience showed true professionalism. She's very thoughtful and during all of our video calls made sure all our questions were answered. It was so great working with her and her fiancé Tony. We highly recommend! -

Kate photographed a wedding in Baltimore in which my husband was a groomsman. The photographs came out stunning, despite the fact that it was heavily raining through the day on their wedding day. We were so blown away that we reached out to her as soon as we became engaged. I researched a bunch of Baltimore area photographers and her style really matched what we were looking for. She was extremely flexible in scheduling and working with us to bring our "re-create our first date" engagement session to life. She gave us wonderful guide to prepare for the engagement session. I have never done a photo shoot before and Kate immediately made us feel comfortable with prompts/fun games when needed! Every single photo from that shoot was exactly what we wanted! Soft, romantic with THE PERFECT light. Fast forward a year and COVID happened... so we had to postpone our wedding celebration. We decided to go forward with an elopement and Kate was very helpful in finding a location to fit our vision of a sunset picnic in the fields. It was private and SO SO magical! Her fiance actually officiated our wedding and he was so wonderful to work with. It was the perfect evening and OMG the sunset photos were just like a fairytale.
We loved Kate's personality and style so much that we hired her again for our wedding celebration (1 year anniversary from the elopement). It was drizzling rain on/off throughout the morning and she was ready with clear umbrellas for the cutest photos! Kate kept us on time and got all of the little details/moments that we hoped for on the big day. She's the best hype woman for our wedding party, takes notes of our little stories/inside jokes to keep the day personal. Kate has the best personality and truly delivers an exceptional product!!! She was hands-down the best vendor choice we made for our wedding. -

Our number one priority when planning our wedding was to have good photographs taken. When we were introduced to Kate's work by several close friends, we knew we had to check her out, and by the time we had finished looking through her portfolio we knew she was The One for us. Working with her was a breeze, and I highly recommend adding on an engagement shoot with her as well- it is a great way to develop a rapport with Kate and get comfortable being behind the camera!
Sadly our April 2020 wedding had to be postponed until May 2022 due to COVID-19, so in the meantime we held a very small elopement ceremony in June. Kate handled all of the ups and downs of our pandemic wedding experience with grace, humor, and empathy. We are so glad we chose her to document both our elopement and rescheduled wedding. -

Best decision ever !
Before I was ever even engaged (like, years before) I knew I needed Kate as my wedding photographer. As a wedding photographer myself, this was obviously a super important choice and I knew Kate was the right one! She has been communicative, clear, always kind and compassionate. The first time we had to reschedule our April wedding due to COVID, she makes the process of picking a new date so simple, and then we had to reschedule a second time and she didn’t miss a beat in assuring us we could find a new day and being as flexible and kind as possible. We ended up choosing to reschedule our big day and also have an elopement/micro-wedding this summer, and I knew I needed Kate to be there with us too. She was so accommodating and generous with her time and energy. For my wedding photos I knew I wanted someone who I could FULLY trust in every way so that I wouldn’t be tempted at all to think “well if this were me..” or “did she think about this?” I wanted to fully feel like a bride. Kate gave me that 100%!! I never once felt the urge to go into photographer mode when she was around. On our elopement day, it rained ALL day. This made things extra complicated for Kate in pretty much every way, and she didn’t just make it work but made all the difficult lighting situations even better than they would have been without the rain. She also spent an hour out in the pouring rain with us for our portraits and was so creative and made absolute MAGIC out of a dreary day. Our rainy wedding photos are not a downgrade at all, they are more than we ever could have dreamed of. Kate is professional, kind, creative, and SO thorough in her work. She is a true artist and an amazing woman to have on your wedding team. Hire her nowwww! We cannot wait to have her photograph our big wedding in May, and I’m already trying to figure out how on earth I’ll find enough space to hang all our photos and how many friends I’ll lose from sharing them too much. -

Behind our venue, Kate was the very next vendor we booked. From the moment I saw Kates work I knew she perfectly aligned with my wedding day vision. Kate shot our engagement shoot and made us feel so comfortable that we had a great time doing so. Kate Ann was such a pleasure to work with and her photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We first met at our engagement photoshoot. This was our first professional photography experience, so we didn’t quite know what to expect. We surely thought it would be super awkward! However, when upon meeting Kate Ann, this was not the case. She was super chill, easy going, and accommodating. This made the hour of pictures fly by! During the wedding Kate Ann, her second photographer, and assistant killed it. They had such a long day, but never stopped smiling and looking for the best shots possible. Where do I start even with Kate?!
Searching for a wedding photographer was extremely important to my husband and me. After leaving several meetings with other photographers, I always felt “pretty good,” and that was just not enough for my husband: “These photos will last a lifetime…you have to feel better than ‘pretty good.’” After meeting with Kate, I realized how important it is to not only love and respect the work of your wedding photographer, but to really vibe with them! It just clicked for us right then and there!
After flipping through her galleries and blogs, I remember thinking there is no way our photos can turn out this good…we are awkward. But my, oh, my – Kate worked her magic!! Kate is so warm, professional, kind, and inviting. My then-fiancé and I were transformed from two relatively camera-shy individuals to a couple just genuinely enjoying loving on each other while a friend takes a snap. Kate took our engagement photos on a cold, rainy day in Baltimore, and my husband and I miraculously look like two lovebirds running around in the rain. Our wedding day was freezing cold -- Kate brought ample hand warmers and warm thoughts, and everyone looked amazing!

My husband and I wanted a super small, low-key wedding so wedding pictures were a top priority for us. It’s one of the few things we could take away after the big day is over, so it was important to find someone perfect. Thrilled with Kate!
We found Kate while looking for vendors for our June 2019 wedding. Her photos on instagram were amazing, and we wanted to work with someone who could capture and create those kinds of images for us!
Kate was wonderful from start to finish, she was open to our requests, provided us with options and really made the whole process seamless. Our first interaction after booking was our engagement photo session. I couldn't wait to get those images back, and when I did, I promise you I was screaming with joy! They are amazing, and something we will have forever. When it came to the wedding, no detail was missed. Kate came with a second shooter and an assistant to make sure every moment was captured. Again, I couldn't wait to see the photos! As expected, she did not disappoint. While she is clearly incredibly talented, she is also extremely thoughtful. When we received our wedding gallery in the mail, it came packaged in a perfect little wooden box, complete with a few prints of some of our favorite photos and two sweet air plants. She could have easily just shipped us our flash drive, but she really personalized the whole experience.
If you have the opportunity to book with Kate, I am telling you to do it. Don’t hesitate because if you miss out, you will be super disappointed.

Kate was absolutely amazing to work with! Pictures were very important to me and the part of the wedding I knew I would cherish forever so I wanted to find the perfect photographer and she was definitely that. We did engagement pictures with her before the wedding and I was so so nervous but she somehow had us laughing and feeling comfortable right away. The engagement pictures looked like something out of a magazine. She far exceeded my expectations. What a wonderful experience we had working with Kate! She is SO talented. Our engagement session and sneak peak photos we got back from the wedding day are nothing short of stunning. Not only is her photography wonderful, but her presence is everything we could have wanted. We were a bit nervous to be in front of the camera, like you do at weddings, and she made us feel so comfortable and even fun. The thing that stuck out the most to me was when we decided to book with her, we were having trouble deciding between having Kate solo for 7 hours or 8 with an additional shooter. Due to our budget I let her know that we were going to go with the former, and her response was "that is perfect, I feel very comfortable shooting the entire day on my own and I will have a non-shooting assistant with me to help!" How much more genuine and pleasant could you be though... Seriously, pick her. Did I mention her shots and edits are stunning? -

When I found her wedding photography online I had my heart set on having her as our photographer for our wedding day, luckily she was available on our date and our dreams came true!! Our wedding was held at Cloisters Castle in Lutherville, Maryland in November of 2017 and we wanted to have something unique, romantic, a bit on the gothic side and when I saw the style of her art I knew it was for us because it really is so artistic! Kate has a wonderful eye for capturing all of the moments in a wedding!! Excellent eye for detail, and she is so easy going, open to new ideas, and she really made us feel that we could trust in our shared vision for what we wanted to capture during our special day. I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful fall foliage during that time of year, and it was one of the reasons why we chose our venue, nestled up in the woods. We were so lucky that the day turned out to be sunny and beautiful even though they were calling for rain the entire day, it didn't start until our wedding reception was at it's close. Kate knew how important our forest portraits were for us, and had us do the photos when the lighting was best. One of our other vendors was running late and when our timeline got thrown off Kate was able to quickly adapt and was so professional and reassuring and helped me stay calm as well. I am so grateful for her quick thinking and ability to improvise! Having such an understanding photographer was so great:) She was also able to get some photos out to us right before Christmas so we could wrap them as gifts for family which was especially nice of her.
