HERS-Kasey and her team are a dream to work with. Everything from start to finish was made easy by their professionalism and communication. When planning with Kasey, it felt like we were planning our wedding with an old dear friend, who truly wants the most perfect day for you and your partner, and then executes it perfectly. The day of our wedding, I didn't have to think about anything. Kasey and her team were on it to make sure we stayed on schedule, yet flexible to meet our requests, all while working to bring our dream day to life. We were sent an amazing teaser just three days after our wedding. They captured our day as artwork that uniquely represents us. I know these pictures will be pictures that we'll look back on and cherish forever.
HIS- WOW!!! Kasey and her team are a powerhouse to work with. The prep work leading up to our wedding day showed. We were asked for our preferable shots, our backstory, and our general picture of the day. This made us more comfortable on the day of our wedding and she delivered with poise. Her eye for what works best to capture the pure joy and bliss of being in the moment on our special day was art. As Kelly and I were focused on what was important, us, she directed our family and friends with the utmost respect and diligence. With a little help from mother nature Kasey was able to capture the most spectacular sunset photos in our wedding attire. As the night progressed we hardly noticed they were around but they still captured the love we have for each other with bombshell shots. We felt her passion to capture the moment through her craft of artistic ability in the teasers sent a few days after our marriage. If you want the highest quality of wedding photography we highly recommend you work with Kasey and her team. -

Looking back through these photos six months later, they wow me just the same. I’m laughing, crying, and reliving the day like it was yesterday—and that is exactly what Kasey does. She doesn’t just take photos; she captures feelings. Every emotion, every vibe, and allll the drama. What she creates is true artwork.
Working with Kasey, Callum, and their incredible team was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, they made the day feel fun, relaxed, seamless, and so us. They think of every detail—down to a portable speaker on the beach playing our favorite music while we danced around as newlyweds. They created a space where everyone felt comfortable being themselves (including somehow getting the groom to be extra lovey and fully present on camera).
Get ready to sob—because every sneak peek, reel, and video had me weak at the knees. I knew I’d be getting beautiful photos, but what I didn’t expect was how deeply Kasey would understand my vision and personality and turn it into art. My photos are just as stunning as her best work, yet still completely me and my vibe.
And trust me—I am PARTICULAR. I fully trusted Kasey to do what she does best, and she absolutely nailed it. The photos and films are the kind you frame throughout your home, gift to loved ones, and treasure forever.
They were also the perfect addition to an Outer Banks wedding experience. Kasey and Callum are the Outer Banks vibe—cool, laid-back, fun, and effortlessly awesome. They blended right in while still elevating the entire day.
I truly cannot say enough good things about this team. I only wish I had added the extra hour, the extra film, the extra session—because working with them was that good. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Kasey, Callum, and their amazing team capture one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
Oh, and not to mention—they are genuinely some of the kindest and coolest people you will ever meet. And that’s a pretty big plus. 💛 -

Kasey and her husband are absolutely the most incredible duo. Our pictures were breathtaking - everything we could ever want and much more. I loved her style and just told her to do her thing... and well she did it!! She can totally follow a mood board and vibe, but if you're like me and just can't handle another decision... letting her make art as she sees fit will be the best decision you make. She is worth every penny. The energy the two of them bring to your wedding is the best - they are cool, calm, and so very genuine! What she delivers for your sneak peak is muccccch beyond what other photographers will give you. She made the sweetest video ever... so many tears! I think she is just above and beyond talented. It's the most important day of your life... use Kasey! -

A truly magical day!
First off, a heartfelt thank you to Kasey and her partner Callum for the beautiful amazing work they did on our wedding day. They truly have a gift for capturing all the special moments you want to remember.
I remember the following week after the wedding thinking to myself how much of a blur the day was and that I wish I looked more at people’s faces when I walked down the aisle and during the reception… well, I got my wish, a few weeks later when we got our full wedding album back.
It is truly a beautiful thing to be able to see your day as a whole. I am so beyond happy with how our photos came out and it’s because they truly reflect the emotion of our day.
Every time that I look through the photos, I find a new favorite or one I swear I haven’t seen before. I especially love the mix of photography styles that is Kasey’s talent… portraits, film, motion, details… it’s everything I pictured in my head but better.
Another note is that both Kasey and her partner Callum brought such an incredible bright loving energy with them on the day and were immediately vibing with everyone. As soon as Kasey said hi to me in the makeup/hair chair I felt reassured and at ease like… yes… this woman knows what she is doing!!! She worked with our vendors so flawlessly and was wonderful at directing us and our wedding parties and families through portraits.
Kasey is also so prepared and thorough with the work she does before the day to make sure she knows her clients story and exactly what they want the day of. I love that she asks about the couples backstory and our love languages as well as even had downloaded our favorite songs which she played while it was just me and my husbands time for photos together.
All my bridesmaids loved Kasey so much also and the vibe she brought, they were all telling me how they want to book her once they’re engaged!
If you’re thinking about booking Kasey for your wedding day or for any other special moments, do it. Feel reassured that she will make your day feel special and deliver you the beautiful heartfelt artwork to remember for the years to come.

It’s going to be hard to put into words how grateful we are for Kasey (& Callum) but I am going to try…When we first met Kasey, there was something about her authenticity that struck a chord with us. We knew immediately that we had to work with her and would do pretty much anything to make that happen, even change our wedding date (which we did!).
We decided to do a ‘practice’ couples shoot which we were pretty nervous about, but quickly realized that was not necessary - Kasey made us feel so incredibly comfortable and brought our vision to life beautifully. We will cherish not only those photos but the memories we made during the shoot for a lifetime!
Now on to the big day…Kasey and Callum truly felt like part of our inner circle – they blended in seamlessly and brought such calming and supportive energy that made everything feel so effortless. This allowed us to be completely present which we will be forever grateful for. All of my friends and family are literally obsessed with them, as are we.
Now on to the photos…the way Kasey captures moments is indescribable and unlike anything I have seen before. Every raw emotion, every fleeting glance, every burst of laughter was documented so beautifully and authentically on our wedding day. Looking through our gallery, we are transported right back to those incredible moments, and that is a gift we will cherish forever. Best Wedding Photographer!!
Kasey and Callum were everything you could wish for in wedding photographers. Kasey was on top of everything- so communicative, considerate of every detail, and clear about the whole process from the beginning. We truly felt like she understood what we were looking for in our wedding photos and we were right- the photos are absolutely beautiful and we have already framed many of them! On the actual wedding day their energy was so calm and reassuring, they knew what they were doing, kept us on track, and made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. My husband and I were a bit nervous for the professional photography since we aren’t usually comfortable behind the camera, but it felt effortless with Kasey and Callum! It was truly a relief having a vendor that was on top of everything. Highly recommend them :) -

I reached out to Kasey with a request to capture some natural photos of my family this summer. I got so much more than that. Our photo session was an absolute dream. We had a 6 and 8 year old with us so I was a little nervous about how the evening would go but we had a BLAST! This felt more like family bonding than it did a photography session, in the best way possible. Kasey was amazing with my kids to the point where they asked if they could do this again! Looking at the pictures she took gives me so much joy and we will cherish them forever. The emotional connection she is able to capture through her photography is nothing short of magical. We originally booked Kasey to do our engagement photoshoot. About a month prior, my now husband and I decided we wanted to turn that time into our elopement instead. I literally cannot recommend Kasey enough!! Not only was the actual shoot amazing, she was so flexible, so professional and just so reassuring throughout the entire process. My fiancé and I were both nervous to have our pictures taken since neither of us feel very comfortable in front of a camera but Kasey knew exactly how to make us loosen up and then how to keep us having fun the entire time! As someone who doesn't always love the way I look in pictures, I was absolutely blown away by the sneak peek photos we got just 24 hours after our shoot. Not only did she capture the love my fiancé and I share for each other in such beautiful images, I genuinely have never felt more beautiful. I cannot wait to see the whole album!!

It's not just her beautiful photographs, but her beautiful personality and understanding of the people she's photographing. She makes an effort to really get to know you, your family, and your vision for your day so that you're guaranteed to get everything you want. She made us comfortable in front of a camera, captured moments that I didn't even realize I wanted until I saw them, and was genuinely so fun to be around. Artistic vision and fun to work with!
The quality of Kasey’s work is fantastic! If you’re looking for a photographer with a unique, artistic skillset, look no further.
Starting a year in advance, Kasey helped me plan and then shoot my engagement to my longtime partner on a rural beach in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Kasey made the process seamless by scouting potential locations for the proposal, and coming through with memorable photos of both the proposal and engagement shoot afterwards. I received a large batch of photos shortly after the engagement and they exceeded all of our expectations! The gallery included a wide variety of shots, including portraits and "action" shots of me and my partner enjoying the special moment.
In short, Kasey has a unique ability of capturing what makes a couple so special and an eye for detail! I would highly recommend her services. -

Exceeded expectations
I truly cannot say enough. Kasey & her partner were nothing short of amazing. I had a CRAZY sneak peek in 48 hours and truthfully that could’ve been enough. Then I get the album a few weeks later and I’m blown away. They captured every moment. Moments I didn’t even see! And I felt like I was revisiting my entire wedding from start to finish. If you’re considering other photography options- don’t. Stop here. Kasey is a literal dream that will make your wedding or any event come to life. I am still in awe. -

Kasey's passion and talent for what she does is evident from the very first moment you talk with her. She genuinely wants to get to know you and tailor your photos to who you and your partner are, your love story, your families, whatever is important to you, she will get to the root of it (even if you're not 100% what it is, she figures it out) and then capture it for you. She is an artist and one of the many reasons I chose her was her ability to make your wedding look like timeless art that I know we will hang in our home forever (Because of this talent, I think it sometimes gets over-looked and I want to acknowledge that she is also incredible at capturing your standard smile at the camera family wedding shots as well).
My mom was blown away by her ability to wrangle our friends in family so easily and she said to me the day after our wedding that when Kasey said to "stand next to whomever or wherever feels most comfortable", she was blown away. Kasey makes you so comfortable to just be in the moment and enjoy your day without feeling like your whole day was posing for photos, but at the same time, captures your day in a way that brings back the emotion of the day every time you look at the photos.
She is willing to go out of her comfort zone if it means capturing you and your partner's essence. I told Kasey I wanted to do editorial style getting ready photos and I didn't really go into much more detail. I meant to send her some inspo photos, but I honestly got overwhelmed and forgot. I brought a few props, she showed up with an entire backdrop set up and when I was finished my make-up I turned around to see a whole photo shoot set that was so "me", I couldn't believe it. Some of that was planned, but so much of Kasey's talent is her spontaneous creativity in the moment, which is so invaluable on a day where even the best laid plans need to change. Not to mention having her (and Callum) around the whole day is just the best addition to you and your family. If you want to be present and enjoy your day and have the most beautiful, personalized photos to show for it, Kasey is your girl. -

There isn’t enough space to write about how amazing Kasey Powell is. Photography is something she was literally born to do. Her eye for creativity is something so rare in this world and I’m so grateful to have had her be the one to take my engagement pictures and my wedding pictures. Kasey made our perfect day even more perfect. My wife and I have a somewhat interesting story, so we wanted something extremely special from the beginning. At our first meeting with Kasey, it felt like she knew exactly what we were looking for and that she appreciated our unconventional story. Fast forward to the day of, we had already planned for moody shots rather than a perfect sunset with the impending tropical storm, and so did Kasey, but we showed up to the perfect Outer Banks sky with the perfect sunset. Kasey quickly got us comfortable with getting photographed and created a perfectly intimate photo session for myself and my wife. KPW Rocks!
We enjoyed our experience with Kasey Powell Weddings. My partner and I eloped to the Outer Banks and we don't regret our decision. The communication with her from the beginning was awesome. She answered any questions we had and basically laid out the timeline of our evening that worked for us. It was just an easy process when you are 8+ hours from home.
She was patient and very in tune with us in the short time when spent with her. In the end, she created these beautiful photographs for us to have forever. A special day/evening in our lives that will always be sacred to us. Kasey captured our love story in still time.. just perfectly.

Never felt cooler in my life
My fiancee Emily found Kasey on IG and immediately fell in love with the artistry and creative vision that Kasey puts into her shoots. From the onset of our first call, Kasey made us feel welcome, comfortable, and excited. Neither of us had been part of a professional shoot before so we truly weren't sure what to expect. Over the course of our conversations, we decided that while Emily and I knew we wanted photos, we weren't entirely sure of the direction or vision we had. We put full trust in Kasey to art direct, stylize, and imagine what an ideal shoot would look like for her. What we began with was high concept and frankly, for me, a bit intimidating. What we ended with is nothing short of wonderful and everything I could've never imagined for myself. As the title of this review says, I truly have never felt cooler in my entire life than with Kasey directing Emily and I throughout our photoshoot. We shot in public, with loads of people around us, and she helped us shed the awkwardness and anxiety that can come with being on such a public display. She prompted us to talk about memories, moments, each other, our love, secrets, and more to really help bring energy into each moment. She had mentioned to us that when we saw the photos we'd reflect on the conversations she had prompted us with and I can confidently confirm that to be true. Kasey and her team made us feel like models and I'm truly thankful for her energy, charisma, and passion for making Emily and I feel incredible.
The photos she took speak for themselves and I know that I will appreciate these for the rest of my life.

Unbelievably talented and passionate!!!
We can't say enough about Kasey’s talent and passion. It shows on the day of the wedding and in the photos. My husband and I had to stop watching the sneak peek video she sent us because we were at a restaurant and started balling Lol!!! Her work is A-FRIKKIN-MAZING. My husband hesitated (when he was still the fiancé lol) but in the end he feels it’s the best money we spent and has brought him to tears every time we look at the pics! AND ITS JUST THE SNEAK PEEK!!! Our family members that are engaged want to have her for their weddings and they're in another state. After looking through Kasey’s website I knew immediately that I needed her for my wedding. She was the first vendor I booked and I couldn’t be any happier. I am having a hard time putting into words what Kasey meant to us on our wedding day. Just book her. Kasey was not just our photographer on our wedding day and leading up - she was our trusted friend, confidante, sometimes therapist, assistant, and more all wrapped into one. Not to mention her talent and artistry is literally unmatched. I was crying looking through our album and watching our video. The art she made for us to encapsulate the most important & beautiful day of our lives is truly the greatest gift and the best investment we could have made, by far. It gave us the precious gift of being able to go back and relive our wedding day and the emotions of it over and over again for our whole lives. The coolest part was seeing our love and the emotion of the day from a 3rd party point of view, in Kasey’s one of a kind, magical, ethereal, emotional, artistic style. Looking through her album felt like watching our love through the eyes of our closest loved ones. It was very emotional to see how our dearest friends and family experienced our day. It is true what they say that the day goes by in a blur and you’re just trying to soak it all in and be present, which is why Kasey’s photos are the greatest gift because we can truly relive it time and time again. Her work was beyond our wildest dreams and she perfectly captured our fairytale fall day. We will cherish the photos and video for our whole lives and pass it down to future kids and grandkids. She truly listens to what you want the essence of your day to be (for us it was connected with nature and the emotion and connection of us and our loved ones) and makes sure to capture exactly that. She even scouted out our first look spot in a patch of wild mushrooms under a canopy of fairytale trees. I trusted her completely and didn’t have to think twice or worry about anything that day. She even asked us some thought provoking questions and played a song that meant a lot to us as a couple to help us really connect on camera. She knew I loved renaissance art and crystals (I never asked her to incorporate these) but she brought pages of a renaissance art book and asked if I had any crystals I could put in my details shot. Everything she does is above and beyond and done with so much care, love, and intention. She was so invested in making our day perfectly beautiful and authentic to us. Kasey Powell and her partner went above and beyond in capturing our wedding photos. Kasey worked with us for months before the wedding, with Zoom calls to discuss what we wanted and set expectations. She sent forms to get to know us better and to make sure she got every single photo that mattered to us. Then, on the day of the wedding, she and her photography partner arrived early and stayed late. We felt that they were so friendly and fun, but also very professional, and that they cared a LOT about making our photos unforgettable. We have since gotten our "sneak peak" photos (which she sent just a couple of days after the wedding in a shareable link!) and OH MY GOSH. Kasey is a dream to work with! We booked her to shoot our 15th wedding anniversary pictures while we were celebrating on vacation in OBX. Our shoot was scheduled while a nor’easter made its way through the islands after Hurricane Ian. She was flexible with our session and supportive of however we wanted to move forward given the weather and our vision for our photos. We decided that we wanted to capture the uniqueness of Mother Nature — the dramatic ocean, the moody sky, the wind-blown landscape — as she truly was on our anniversary and, by looking at her work, we were confident that Kasey would deliver epic shots to commemorate our milestone. I don't think I can put into words how instrumental Kasey was in making our wedding day everything that it was, but I'll try. Kasey is a visionary, truly living out her life's purpose in a professional sense. She goes beyond being a photographer to a story teller and art creator, by encouraging you to connect and reconnect with your significant other over and over again (because there's never too much love). To focusing on what's most important throughout your wedding planning process and the actual day. Photography is such a critical piece of your wedding budget, and Kasey is worth every penny and then some.
Photos are frozen moments in time from a magical day in our lives, but Kasey doesn't just capture pictures of what happens on your wedding day – she tells your stories through the lens. She fosters emotions and rawness and feelings. Her realness and genuineness and the heart she wears on her sleeve are contagious and showcased through the albums she shares with you. I remember people saying on our wedding day, "I can't wait to see those pictures we took!" And I said, "I can't wait to see the pictures I didn't know Kasey was taking...those are always my favorites." Our wedding day was hit with hurricane rains and winds, but I still knew our pictures would be stunning. And they are. Nothing can shake Kasey Powell.
When you approach your wedding day and don't need to worry about how you, your loved ones, and your stories are captured beautifully, it is priceless. Kasey is everything. Don't even consider someone else!

You know that really awesome friend that you have who just makes the world a better place no matter what? Well, that is Kasey Powell. She is truly a gem and the kindest soul you’ll ever meet! What’s even better? She is by far the most talented photographer that has ever existed, and she makes literal art out of your wedding pictures!
We really can’t sing enough praises about Kasey, her work ethic, genuineness, charming personality, and true love for her job. If I could shout from the mountaintops, I would :-) In all honesty, she is just so personable that you feel like you know her as soon as you meet. We had a few Zoom calls with her prior to heading to Corolla, but my groom and I met Kasey in person for a sunrise beach shoot the day before the wedding down at the Oregon Inlet Life Saving Station. Luckily, we had the most perfect weather, but Kasey was prepared for anything (even checking the weather radar at 5:00am before we were supposed to meet her down there). She captured some of the sweetest, most intimate moments for us – as if we were the only ones running around the dunes that morning. Highly recommend getting a small shoot ahead of the big day if there are any nerves - she puts you at ease and it is just so much fun! You get to run around, with the love of your life, and not have all of the eyes of wedding guests on you. Plus, who doesn’t want to sneak away with their “person” before the “I do”??
The wedding day – I don’t even know where to begin! Let’s go back to having that really good friend that makes the world a better place – invite Kasey to anything, in any environment, with anyone around, and you will never be disappointed. After having met her the day before, I could not wait for her to arrive for the wedding day!!! She had a second shooter with her, which was amazing because we had the groom getting ready at another house with his family. They both blended so effortlessly into the family dynamics and atmosphere. They were able to capture some of the most loving and raw pictures that happen throughout the wedding day. Kasey provided such a calmness and warmth on our wedding day, like she was just meant to be there. We are not hugely religious but do believe God put Kasey on this planet to make art and spread love and kindness. She will quickly become your friend and her passion will forever remain in your hearts. Kasey is just the most incredible person, and you need her in your life – I promise! -

The Perfect Photographer for your Perfect Day!
There aren’t enough words to accurately describe what an amazing experience we had with Kasey. From the very first phone call she put us at ease. She helped give great recommendations throughout the planning process but always made sure she reminded us it was going to be what we wanted.
We were lucky enough to be able to book Kasey the day before our wedding to capture shots of our families hanging out on the beach. She fit in so naturally and was able to capture candid shots we will treasure forever.
By the next day when Kasey and Callum showed up to shoot the wedding it was like they were old friends. Kasey’s vibe just naturally put us at ease but her thoughtfulness of creating a playlist of songs she thought we’d like was the perfect touch. Nothing felt staged, nothing felt awkward, we were able to just have fun and Kasey did her thing.
When we got sneak peeks back the next day (yesss the next day!) we were blown away. We knew she was good, we knew we loved her as a person, but the art she created was just incredible. Kasey’s photographs tell your story so vibrantly and authentically, that when you look at them, you are completely immersed in that moment. They have an effortless, honest beauty to them that perfectly captures the emotions of the day. Her versatility provides you with all of the standard “wedding” photographs, but also powerful candid moments and stunning pieces of art. Kasey knows how to lead people into having genuine, heartfelt moments that eliminates the awkwardness of posed photographs and allow everyone’s personalities to radiate through. The weather the day of my wedding was not ideal (upper 40’s, pouring down rain with 50 MPH wind gusts) so we were forced to change all of our plans and get married inside surrounded by furniture we were unable to move and super beachy house décor. We worried the quality of the photographs would suffer and with most photographers it would have, but not with Kasey! She even brought a change of clothes and got into the debris filled, turbulent ocean with us to capture epic, moody photographs! One of my vendors called me two days after my wedding just to tell me she had seen my photographs and they were art. Kasey knew there were couple shots we had wanted from the golden hour that just wouldn’t be possible on our wedding day and graciously offered to split our time to another day. Each day we played it by ear to determine if we would have enough sun to make it happen. When we finally thought we had a day with a sunset, a sudden storm appeared, we switched locations to try and beat the storm and although it looked like we would only have 15 minutes to shoot, Kasey was determined to make that happen and she delivered! She managed to capture some of the only sunny moments of the entire week and made it look as if had been like that the whole evening. Her drone shots are breath taking! Kasey was able to turn a worst case scenario into a best case scenario, never once showed any stress from the challenges and exuded positive vibes which allowed me to remain calm. Not only does Kasey take amazing photos but she is genuinely your support system through the entire process. She makes you feel comfortable like a long-time friend and blends seamlessly into your wedding, going above and beyond her role as a photographer. Kasey provided expert advice that helped me plan difficult parts of my wedding (like the timeline) and went above and beyond her role as a photographer the day of to make sure things were done the way I wanted them to be, even carrying out surprises for my fiancé and father. She helped Mike and I recreate photographs from my parents wedding (my mother passed away when I was younger) so accurately my father was moved to tears. When someone asks to see our wedding photos, we struggle to find a few to show them and instead just bombard them because all of our photos are amazing and unique. Immediately after arriving home, we hung up wedding photos because we were obsessed with them. Mike and I regularly watch the sneak peek slideshow she sent the day after our wedding and it brings tears to our eyes every time and it has been “screened” at multiple venues. We will find other excuses to work with Kasey in the future because she perfectly captured our wedding! -

From inception to execution, Kasey Powell was an absolute pleasure to work with while taking our engagement photos this past July [spoiler alert: post shoot, we immediately booked her for our wedding as well!].
On the front end, we knew immediately she would be right for us based on her professionalism, knowledge, communication, and comfortability. After our first conversation, we both agreed that it had felt like we had known her for years, though we had only recently found her on Instagram.
Leading up to the day of the shoot, Kasey was consistently responsive and on top of everything we threw at her (questions, ideas, outfits, etc.), which helped us feel greatly at ease amongst everything else we have been juggling for our wedding.
Day of was an absolute blast. Everything about it felt so genuine and natural, that even with bystanders in the background, we hadn't a care in the world. Kasey really knows how to engage her clients in meaningful, emotional conversations mid-shoot that reap the best of candid and posed photos.
Post-shoot, Kasey was unbelievably quick to send us over a sneak peek to show us the amazing work she had done (allowing us to jump start on our save-the-dates :)). Top-notch is an understatement of the quality we found in her photos, especially for someone as naturally un-photogenic as me.

Kasey is a one of a kind extremely talented photographer. She took the time to get to know my fiancé and I months prior to our wedding so that she could capture the most personal and intimate photos that told our story and boy did she deliver! She took the time to check in with us and reassure us that we were in great hands. Our sneak peek pictures were absolutely breathtaking and we cannot wait to see the full album and share it with our loved ones. Kasey’s candid photos painted a beautiful collage of our personalities and history and we couldn’t be happier that we chose her to capture one of the best days of our lives. -

My husband and I found Kasey on wedding wore a year or so before our big day! I followed her accounts to better know her and fell in love with her work. Kasey was incredibly easy to get in touch with as we live in CT and had a destination wedding in OBX, NC. She was communicative, fun, energetic and so so easy to work with. She made my husband super relaxed to take pictures and encouraged and talked is through the entire time ! She also knows when and where to insert herself and when to let moments happen! Her work is phenomenal, her expertise is incredibly and I would work with her over and over again if I could. Thank you Kasey for capturing our engagement photos and wedding photos ! Book her now. Words cannot express how talented Kasey is, just look at her Instagram and portfolio for proof. She plays with lighting and captures moments that create images that should be on the covers of magazines. From our engagement shoot to the wedding, Kasey has provided us with so many pictures that we can immediately return to that moment in time, and for that, we are forever grateful. She is not only professional, but she shows up as your friend as well. She fixed my hair, adjusted my dress, made me feel comfortable enough to strip down (get that quick boudoir shoot), super dog friendly, and cracked jokes with us throughout the day. She is constantly moving around to get the job done and makes it look effortless. Kasey sends a ton of preview shots quickly after engagement/wedding shoots, which helps to relive it all over again and gets you so excited to see the full album. I found Kasey through searching for local OBX photographers for our wedding and her style immediately struck me. Her style is initiate, romantic and detailed. She captures so much emotion, you will be shocked when you receive your photos. She is not your typical portrait style photographer, she's so much better! Plus she is very competitively priced. We hired Kasey several months out from our October 2021 wedding and selected the package that included engagement pictures. We unfortunately had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to weather, but we rescheduled sunrise photos where Kasey blew us away. Our engagement pictures made us so excited to work with her for our wedding. She was open to our ideas capturing our photos with our dog and on the beach with our truck - and then she delivered beyond what we imagined. Throughout the process, Kasey is communicative and her portal is very easy to work with. She takes her time to meet with you over the phone as well as very responsive to emails and texts - which is critical when you're a nervous project manager bride like me. Then our big day came, and Kasey blew us away. Throughout the day I received so many compliments from our families and guests about how great she was and how they enjoyed watching her work. She navigated our large family photos with grace and kindness, as well as checked in with me personally throughout the wedding just to make sure I was okay. I cannot thank her enough! We also received sneak peek photos from our engagement and wedding very quickly, and she sends so many pictures! You don't have to worry about not getting enough pictures! Kasey is just PHENOMENAL to work with and don't look any further if you are considering her! We hope to work with her again in the future because she is just THAT GOOD! -

A quality photographer was the one expense I was not going to skimp on for the wedding. So many couples make the mistake of having “Cousin Jimmy”, who is an “amateur” photographer capture their wedding to later find they regret the decision. That was not going to cut it for our wedding. Eloping on a few months' notice, I limited myself to those who were available on our Friday evening date. I found Kasey Powell Weddings on Wedding Wire. I started checking out her social media page and truly appreciated her motto, “Less Posing, More Laughing.” That was important to me. The bearded one doesn’t like a big production, and we laugh a lot, so we wanted someone who could appreciate that we don’t take life too seriously. Her website was full of “in the moment” intimate pictures of couples. You can clearly tell it was less fake posing and more raw, real footage. I connected with her after the wedding she shot in Antigua. It was amazing to see her work. Her dedication to capturing the bride’s vision was very apparent. Thankfully she was available on our set wedding day, so we booked her! We met with her via zoom twice before the wedding. She sent us personal questionnaires to learn more about us, who we are, what we love.
We opted for a “First Look Session” before the wedding, but we didn’t just do “a first look”…nope, we took the Harley to the Outer Banks. Kasey captured our vision for the pictures. Having a photographer who listens to what you want plus respects that not everyone is comfortable being in front of a camera is priceless. I felt like I made a new friend in the time we spent together. The first images we received were unbelievable. Everything was magical about the experience and I recommend Kasey Powell for your OBX wedding. -

Kasey is the best!
Kasey did an absolutely amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos. After speaking with her over the phone, I knew she would be laid back but completely professional and a master at her craft. When we first met to do our engagement shoot, my husband and I were a little apprehensive since we don't typically love being the center of attention. Kasey made the whole experience so fun and relaxing (she even played our favorite music on her speaker) that we knew the wedding day would be easy. Leading up to the wedding, she was always available to answer questions and offered great advice. She made the planning process incredibly easy.
On the wedding day, she was so thoughtful and down to earth and captured all of the special moments. Plus we both loved hanging out with her throughout the day!
The pictures have far exceeded our expectations - we even got sneak peeks 2 days after the wedding! -

A choice you will not regret
I found Kasey on Instagram at the last minute after deciding to plan a wedding in 3 months. Luckily, our wedding was on a Thursday so we got lucky and she was available. I saw her work and knew I had to book her so I called her. She answered the phone between wedding shoots and invited me to stop by her house the next day. From my first conversation with her, I felt like she was a long time friend. She answered all my questions and questions I didn't know I had. She makes sure to get to know you as a couple through video calls and questions which made such an impact on how comfortable we felt with her. She takes breathtaking photos that will blow everyone who sees them away. On top of that, she is such a professional and has the best ideas to inspire emotions that she can then capture on camera. Our wedding day was a bit chaotic and she still captured it seamlessly and made us feel calm and just appreciate the love that surrounded us. I've only seen our sneak peek pictures and I'm already just blown away. Kasey has an incredible gift and if you're lucky enough to experience it, you will understand too. Thank you Kasey. I wish I could relive my wedding day a million times and through your pictures, I can at least get close. -

Absolutely wonderful!
Kasey is not only an amazing and fun person to work with, but is a phenomenal photographer. We are so glad that we used her for our engagement and wedding photography for our destination wedding. Her photos are unique and special and she was such an easy going, yet organized person to work with. I plan on using her for other events in the future (and yes, that means traveling to OBX just to have her as our photographer!) Could not recommend enough! -
