We are so happy to have chosen Karma DJs for our wedding. It was so worth it to have their team drive in to Austin from Houston. From the first phone call my husband and I had with DJ Yogi, we felt confident we were in good hands. Throughout our wedding planning process, he and his team maintained consistent communication and were tuned in to our vision. We love that DJ Janam skillfully blended various music genres, especially given the diversity of our wedding guests; he truly understood the type of music we wanted for our reception and incorporated his own creativity to elevate our vision. MC Sawi's charisma and non-stop energy kept the vibes going throughout our reception; he did not shy away from joining everyone on the dance floor to keep up the spirits, which was amazing. We heard compliments from family and friends about Both DJ Janam and MC Sawi. They also worked together to seamlessly collaborate with our dholis for a super fun and memorable party. We had an amazing experience with Karma DJs. They were very professional in their work and were on time to setup their equipment. DJ Janam was absolutely amazing and played wonderful music and kept the guests on the floor. MC Sawi did an incredible job of keeping the vibe of the wedding going and encouraged and danced with guests on the floor. Got married in November, and Karma DJ made our reception a hit! DJ Janam knows how to read a room and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. We had so many people on the dance floor during the reception until the very end, both young and old, and I credit that to DJ Janam's ability to create a vibe!
The whole team was great, actually. You can tell DJ Yogi is experienced because he helped us with song selections and gave valuable, practical suggestions about how to handle wedding entrances that we wouldn't have known to plan for.
I will also add that the team does care for you and doesn't treat you like just another event. DJ Janam helped us fix and coordinate some last-minute reception gaffes. He certainly did not have to do this, and it wasn't in his job description, but he still went above and beyond.
We really appreciate them and would highly recommend! -

DJ AJ did a fantastic job! He kept open communication with me during the planning. He included an eclectic mix of songs that we requested. He kept everything on track and got the crowd hyped up. He had people dancing at our wedding that normally never dance in public. On top of all that, he sent us a video montage of the night that we have for our memories. I would highly recommend him to others! -

We knew how important picking a DJ it was. Arguably, it was the most important decision -- as it sets the vibe for the entire day and especially the baraat and the dance floor. Yogi and his team completely delivered! They are the best Indian Wedding DJs in Texas by far. Our friends and family were a mix of Indians and non-Indians and Yogi curated the best playlist of our choices, star Indian songs, and the latest pop hits! His energy is unmatched and for that, we are thankful.
Yogi's communication style is exactly what you need from a professional DJ. We interviewed a few others but did not feel safe and comfortable with anyone until we met DJ Yogi. He knows that he's the professional and you are the first-timer -- so he guides you with what questions to ask and what you need to know to feel like the event is under control. At the same time, he respects your decisions and your personal needs to ensure your wedding is exactly what you envisioned.
Yogi went above and beyond to calm the chaoticness of our photo groups right after the ceremony. We had to squeeze about 150 people into 11 photo groups within 30 minutes and he did it with calmness and ease.
Lastly, we picked two close friends to be our emcees for the reception and Yogi went above and beyond to help them feel comfortable and empowered. He did a Zoom with them, had a text group chat with them, and even did a run-through with them during the cocktail hour and suffice to say, they nailed it with Yogi's help! -

Fantastic experience with DJ Karma
Working with Yogi was the only seamless part of our wedding. He was professional, gave valuable advice and was very flexible the weekend of. He went out of his way to help us make sure we had an amazing weekend. In addition, he was always on time, which is so important in an Indian wedding! The music was amazing, he was creative and thought to include my best friend in our entrance announcements, and he timed everything perfectly. We loved the cold sparks and CO2 gun! He worked behind the scenes to coordinate with the hotel, which I really appreciated as we had no idea regarding what this entailed. Hiring Karma DJs was the best decision we made! -

Karma DJs, DJ Yogi and DJ Janam are INCREDIBLE! Never a doubt we were going to use this group for a milestone birthday event. Though DJ Yogi couldn't make it - his team was just amazing from beginning to end. Yogi suggested a DJ for our event and we were beyond satisfied. The planning, professionalism, set-up and communication was impeccable throughout our planning and event day. They scoped the event site and were set-up ahead of time and ready to go!
DJ Janam played upbeat music throughout the multi-hour event keeping our guests happy and spirits high throughout the night. The final two hours were jam-packed on the dance floor with high energy and spirits, smooth transitions, and amazing attitudes and flexibility. This crew is the best and we HIGHLY recommend them for ANY event you want a DJ for! They made the night seamless and so memorable!! -

We had a Mehndi/Haldi event in the morning and a reception in the evening. This was a mixed culture wedding and Emcee Q and Dj Janam did a phenomenal job at not only bringing together two families, but bringing together two cultures. From the planning, to the emcee and music the day of, everything was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with a vendor. In addition, even the administrative process for planning and communication before the wedding was splendid. We highly recommend using Karma DJs and a special shoutout to Emcee Q and DJ Janam for their amazing work. -

Within an hour of inquiring with KarmaDJs, I got an email from Yogi. He was super professional and helpful with deciding what we would need for the event. We had a blended wedding, American bride and Pakistani groom. DJ Scoop was the man for the job. Both sides of the family were pleased with the mix of music. I can't say enough about MC Q. Q was like another day of coordinator as he checked up with me and Sarosh as well as my coordinator all night. He helped us maneuver from table to table quickly to take pictures, but not get caught up with one table all night. He was THE BEST hype man. He taught new dance moves and kept the party going. We paid extra for having an MC, but I
would do it again in a heartbeat. He was worth every extra dollar. -

Absolutely amazing DJ!!! Alex, Yogi, and David were fantastic. One of our biggest things for our wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor and for it to be a huge party. It was nothing short of that thanks to Yogi! They were able to totally cater the music to our taste - we didn’t want too much Indian played, and they totally rocked it. It was a lovely mix of everything we asked for - hip hop, Taylor swift, EDM, and a ton more - but they blended it so well. I honestly don’t think that the music at our wedding could have been any better! The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE TIME with people of all ages. We had so many friends and family compliment and even a few people who are getting married ask for their info! 11/10 recommend! -

Can’t recommend this team enough. As a lifelong musician marrying a lifelong dancer, my biggest priority (other than marrying my wife) was the AV setup and execution for our 400+ person wedding. Yogi, Alx, and Q made this a breeze, and their years of experience showed. We had multiple live music performances, dance performances, and speeches, all of which sounded flawless. The lighting set up was incredible too. The whole day was truly surreal and magical in huge part due to these guys. Ultra flexible, amazingly responsive, extremely professional. So grateful to all of them for taking care of us and making sure we had the best day of our lives. -

I had gone to several Karma DJ weddings before planning my own wedding. They created such a fun and upbeat environment each time, so when it was time to plan my own wedding, I knew they would be my first choice for a DJ. From the first moment I submitted an inquiry, DJ Yogi was very responsive, easy to communicate with, and transparent while helping me select the best package for my needs. DJ Masti came by our venue the week before to do a site-visit and walk me through the logistics. On the day of our wedding, DJ Masti did an amazing job curating a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the ambience of our wedding - soft, instrumental Indian inspired music while our guests dined and mingled. When the dance floor opened, he played a great mix of Bollywood, American pop, and Latin music that appealed to all of our guests. The transitions were seamless and he really kept the energy up. Afterwards we got so many questions from guests who wanted to book the DJ for their own kids’ weddings! Thank you Karma DJs for making our wedding an unforgettable experience! -

A true professional
We hired DJ Yogi from Karma DJs for our wedding in Mexico City. It was a typical Indian wedding - spanning 4 different events. Every guest loved the variety of music and the entire weekend was seamlessly managed. Wedding planning is hard, especially in a different country, and Yogi ensured that we would not have to worry. He managed us when we needed to be told what to do, he listened to feedback on music, and he easily collaborated with a number of vendors. -

KarmaDJs was the best! I'm black and my wife is Pakistani and so we had an amazing blended wedding. Yogi and DJ Scoop were able to nail both of our cultures and music choices. I told them that once that party started, I wanted people dancing and there was never one point that that dance floor was empty. From the moment we started working with Karma DJs, we knew we were in good hands. Yogi made himself available from the get go to help us lay out the day and our vision. He accompanied us on a venue visit to work with us and the venue to figure out layout and flow for the day's events. He made suggestions for the Bharaat, lighting, and adding Dave Sharma (percussionist) for the cocktail hour and during the reception (it was a real hit!). As the event got closer, we worked closely with Alx and Yogi to select the playlist and get the vibe for the night.
Karma DJs really made the night for us and every guest enjoyed the experience. Enough cannot be said. All of the staff we interacted with were professional and talented. We're grateful and highly recommend them for any event. Thank you Yogi, Alx, Dave, and team! -

We needed a DJ who would be able to play tejano, cumbia, bollywood, and bhangra and DJ Alx did not disappoint! Though he had limited experience with spanish music, he took it upon himself to learn about it and all his effort was evident during our events. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music at our wedding. DJ Alx did a wonderful job balancing the music for the Mexican and Punjabi sides! Our dance floor was never clear. What I found to be especially unique about DJ Alx is his ability to feel the vibe of the crowd. He receives feedback tremendously and he genuinely listened to mine and the groom's input. He also knew when to play certain genres at specific events or near the beginning or end of the night. DJ Alx was superb at creating the exact vibe we were looking for at our wedding and MC Lakha did a great job at facilitating it. MC Lakha was so interactive with our guests, he was even dance battling with a guest at one point. Together, they both made our big day so much fun for us and all our guests- Mexican and Punjabi. I would definitely book them again. -

Best experience with a DJ!
I’m a Latina and my husband and I wanted a blend of Latin music and country music to honor both families. I already knew it would be amazing and was still blown away on our wedding day by the production of the team and talent of DJ ALX. He was intuitive to what the dancing crowd wanted. Transitions between songs were smooth, seamless , and did not feel jumpy nor choppy at all. They put the party in our After Party. 10/10 recommend! -

We were lucky enough to have DJ Yogi at DJ Masti for our wedding events-- I could not recommend them more. Both really know how to read a crowd, bring the energy and make sure everyone feels included. We could not have been happier with the way they brought the party to all of our events.
DJ Masti was our DJ for a smaller mehndi event at our house, with a large dispersed crowd. He was able to engage everyone and make sure the music was accessible but still energetic. He came early to set up and was very independent and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Highly recommend!
DJ Yogi covered our Sangeet, Wedding and Reception and can easily say our wedding would not have been the same without him. He never played the same song twice, catered to everyone's needs and was constantly present and there for us whenever we needed something or if the party needed a boost. He took requests from us ahead of time and spent hours with us planning everything. When we had to pivot quickly at our reception from our initial plan, he ran with it and made everything go seamlessly. He integrated so well with our other vendors. The care, commitment and creativity Yogi put into our wedding was unparalleled. Our guests had never seen anything like the set-up Yogi put together with the music videos playing and friends are still talking about how hype our DJ was.
Music can make or break an event. Let it make your event- if you're looking for a group of DJs to bring the party- this is them. You won't regret it! -

We had the time of our lives on the dance floor. KarmaDJs was super involved in wanting to fit into the theme of our wedding. Yogi was super helpful in understanding what we wanted from entertainment and was receptive to our inputs. Often times you could feel overwhelmed with this part of the wedding as it’s where the guests really get to let loose, but we had a blast ! DJ scoop helped with our walkout song (as well as a few tips on making sure you don’t fall over !) and Scoops playlist was excellent! 10/10 would recommend ! -

Our experience during our wedding with KarmaDJs was phenomenal. From booking them months in advance to personalizing each event went very smoothly. Even the execution of everything turned out amazing. They really cared about what we wanted and absolutely delivered that and more. DJ Alx and MC Dave were amazing!!!! They were the best duo anyone could ask for. DJ Yogi was super nice and really helped make our events special. I wish I could get married again just to dance the entire weekend to amazing music. We searched long and hard for a DJ who could play all types of music, someone who would be able to feel the vibes of our crowd and adjust accordingly, and someone who just LIT up the dance floor. DJ YOGI was the MAN! He went above and beyond our expectations. He gave us ideas and helped us follow-through with them just to make sure we had the most perfect wedding with music included. Music was a huge focus for us and he was the only person we were comfortable with, and the only person we would ever recommend. Top tier entertainment!
We were recommended to DJ Yogi-G (Karma DJs) by many friends and family members prior to our wedding and they could not have been more correct. Yogi along with MC Q and Dholi Zubair blew us away starting with a Baraat that got even non-Indians jumping up and down. Yogi listened to our thoughts and requests before the wedding and geared the music to the very diverse crowd. Even though it has been a month since the wedding, we still hear compliments about the music and entertainment. I would definitely recommend Karma DJ’s for any type of event -

We loved working with KarmaDjs! Yogi was incredible in helping us figure out our needs and plan out all our music. Then during our actual events, DJ Masti was awesome in reading the crowd and figuring out the type of music that everyone loved. They played a great mix of all kinds of music. For our Indian wedding, they played a great mix of Hindi, Panjabi, English, and Spanish music. Must have for amazing time!
DJ Yogi and KarmaDJs were the highlight of our wedding! They were out DJs for two of our wedding functions - mendhi and reception. If you are looking for a DJ who is attentive to your music tastes and knows how to bring the party to life, look no further! With DJ Yogi on the 1s and 2s, the dance floor was always full of people letting loose! (And this was a shy dancing crowd!) Throw in MC Corey & Dholi Dave and you are bound to have a great time! KarmaDJs is an absolute must have for your wedding functions! They will make it an event you’ll never forget!
