Voice of an angel
Karlyn is SO talented! She has a voice of an angel and made our daughter and now son in laws wedding absolutely beautiful. So good in fact, we had people asking if it was pre-recorded because she was in a balcony where guests could not see her. We asked her to include a violin and cello as well and that really brought it all together. I can not say enough good things about her. She was easy to work with, kind and extremely professional. She knew the right questions to ask to help make for a spectacular ceremony. Book her! You will NOT be disappointed! -

Over the moon and back pleased with Karlyn Jurgensen Wedding Music services! I have hired her 4 times for 4 family weddings!
In the span of one year, three of my daughters were married. All three chose Karlyn Jurgensen to sing at their church wedding cerermonies. Each bride & groom chose different songs with Karly's help at their song selection meetings. One bride asked Karly to find a violinist to accompany her as she played the piano and sang. Another bride asked her to find a flautist. The music was so overwhelmingly beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. Eight years later, when I was getting remarried during the pandemic, I absolutely had to have Karly sing at my wedding. I was fearful the pastor of the church would not allow me to have a singer and musicians at our wedding. When I told him it was Karly Jurgensen, he approved because he was quite familiar with her performances and completely trusted her song repertoire and professionalism. Since it was during the pandemic, Karly consulted with us remotely and made it possible to hear what the various songs sounded like and helped us decide the best time in the ceremony for each song we selected. Listening to Karly sing is like listening to a heavenly angel's voice. Her beautiful voice is like nothing you've ever heard before! I have one more daughter who just got engaged and I'm certain she will insist that Karlyn Jurgensen sing at her wedding also. -

I could not recommend Karly enough for your wedding day or event! Her voice is incredibly beautiful and having her play the piano and sing on our wedding day had every person in tears! She is so professional and played every note perfectly! Not to mention, she has an excellent library of songs to choose from and some mash-ups she created on her own! Overall I would hire Karly again and again if I could! Thank you Karly for making our ceremony and cocktail hour music unforgettable! -

Karlyn was amazing to work with. From months before to the day of she wanted everything to be perfect for us. The music was beautiful and brought the ceremony together so well. Karly is Magical
Magic. Karly made the whole process so easy and fun. She helped us hand pick songs for every part of our ceremony and she was attentive to every detail. The day of our wedding she filled the air with love. I am so happy she was part of our wedding day. -

Karlyn music was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding ceremony. The music wasn’t only beautiful but the musicians in the band were so friendly and punctual. At first I was worried about finding other musicians to pair with Karly but she was quick in finding more musicians that fit our style perfectly! If we ever were to get married again😉, we would definitely choose Karlyn again! -

Beautiful Musician!
Karlyn music coordinated all of the music for our wedding ceremony this past summer. I have heard her play at many weddings I have attended in the past so it was an easy decision to have her play ours. We were so happy with the entire process. She is so talented in so many ways, from her communication skills to her beautiful voice! I cant imagine having anyone else coordinate all of the music for our special day. She is truly an amazing musician. -

Beautiful!
We hired Karly for our daughter's wedding because we held an outdoor wedding (due to Covid) and were unable to have the traditional music in the church. We met with Karly several times prior to the wedding to perfect the timeline and music choices. Karly played the keyboard and brought along a violinist, cellist, and trumpeter. The music was wonderful and unforgettable. We would highly recommend! -

Absolutely wonderful!
The music at our wedding mass was very important to the two of us, and we could not have been blessed with a better musician than Karlyn, she exceeded expectations! Her voice is angelic! She also coordinated a string trio for us, who all also did an amazing job. Working with Karlyn was very easy; we communicated the songs we wanted for our ceremony, and she coordinated the rest. Would highly recommend! -

Extraordinarily beautiful wedding music!
I have known Karly’s parents for a very long time and when our kids were little we gathered each Christmas with a hired Santa to celebrate the season and see each other’s kids. What a joy it was so many years later to have Karly sing and play at our daughter’s wedding. In this beautiful tapestry of life it was such a gift to celebrate this joyous day in our family with her singing & playing the piano and her parents present at the wedding. Karly shares her gift of music and singing with others in so many ways- funerals, church masses, & weddings. And it is at weddings where her talents radiate and shine! Her piano playing is exceptional, her arrangements are elegant & beautiful, and her singing rings so clear…the voice of an angel. I am listening to her songs on Soundcloud (check it out) as I write this and each time a song plays that we used at our daughter’s wedding, tears come to my eyes. The songs & arrangements are that beautiful. Let this one item on the very long list of wedding details be taken care of by Karly! Also, Karly arranged for the quartet that played at the wedding and coordinated with the music director at our church. You can rest easy that all the wedding music will be taken care of by Karly on this very special day for your family!

Absolutely Perfect!
Having known of Karly via family, and seeing her perform at St. Pat’s in Elkhorn, we reached out to her immediately after setting our wedding date and were thrilled she was available. From guiding us through the song selection process & creating the theme & feel we wanted to convey at our wedding, Karly was an absolute professional. She even went as far to help us review our Wedding Program for any errors or recommended changes, several of which we would have never thought of or noticed we formatted incorrectly. Finally, Karly is an incredibly talented musician and has a beautiful voice which certainly enhanced our wedding. She is extremely helpful, kind, and is a wonderful resource who did not create any stress, and even helped reduce stress during the very busy wedding planning process. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning their special day! -

Karly is amazing!
As a couple, we knew that music was at the top of our priority list when we began planning our big day. Karly was an absolute dream to work with from the very beginning! She guided us through a traditional Catholic ceremony and what songs would need to be selected, while also offering contemporary alternatives. We were able to select exactly what we wanted thanks to her talent and ability to both play and sing it all. She worked wonderfully with a violinist and made it stress-free for us! So many of our guests commented on the beautiful music and as a couple we were blown away. We were so lucky to have her a part of our special day and I would recommend her to anyone! -

Karly played and sang beautiful music at our wedding and was fantastic to work with! She is extremely talented and versatile, with a unique catalog of songs that fit every different style. One of the highlights was going to listen to her play some of her songs ahead of time and she was even willing to add in songs that were special to us. Since ours was a Catholic wedding, Karly was “instrumental” and knowledgeable in helping to select appropriate songs, and she was familiar with our priest and church. We decided to add a cellist from her instrument list to back her piano and she even worked with our friend, a talented guitarist, to sit in on the prelude music. We recommend Karly 100% to bring the music on your special day! -

Karlyn went above and beyond!
I hired Karlyn to sing our first dance song as a surprise to my husband. I asked her to change the tempo of the song to slow it down and change some words around so it would reflect us as a couple more. To say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! The song was beautiful and so so perfect! She has the most beautiful voice and made our first dance so incredibly special to us. -

HIRE KARLYN MUSIC! Karly was probably the most professional and at the same time easy going part of our wedding! She arranged for all other musicians and everything was out of this world! Karlyn was absolutely wonderful to work with! I was a medical student at time of my engagement and wedding, so my working hours were crazy, but she was so flexible in setting up meetings and working with me over the phone and via email. She was extremely professional in her dealings with me, and with the other musicians, both a professional cellist she hired and a friend of mine who sang at the wedding. There were so many things going on that day, but I didn't have to worry about the music at all because I knew Karlyn had everything under control. My mother, who is a piano teacher, was also extremely impressed with her, and said to me "she absolutely knows what she is doing." I am so grateful that we found Karlyn! The music at the wedding was stunning- a collection of some of my favorite classical pieces as well as hymns and some of her own arrangements. I cannot reiterate enough how great an experience it was working with her! I was so pleased with the end product, and have already recommended her to several of my friends who are getting married! -

We were so lucky to have Karly perform at our wedding ceremony in Omaha, NE! We were married June 3, 2017. Our ceremony was outdoors which introduces unique challenges for any musician; weather, direct sun on equipment, sound quality, etc. Karly was a true professional and after talking with her I knew our guests would be able to hear the music, as well as, the officiant whose microphone was plugged into her sound equipment. Now about her serious skills...
I connected with her style immediately. She is truly a talented artist. I wanted our wedding music to make a statement with modern song choices mixed with some classic notes. Karly's mash up of Ben Folds The Luckiest and Cannon + D was beyond perfect for my entrance. If you are considering Karly for your big day do not hesitate to contact her. You will not be disappointed.

Karlyn's magical voice was a gift from the heavens during our ceremony. Her professionalism, ability to organize the music for our entire day, and the experience she holds created an ease unlike anything else on our day. People kept talking how beautiful her unique arrangement of our favorite Fleetwood Mac song was. It was so special to us. It was a surprise to our guests, to see my sisters and mom well up with tears was more than a little satisfying! An energy entered our ceremony space when she began to sing that became the signature feeling for our wedding. -

Karly made our ceremony so special by creating unique arrangements to some of our favorite songs. She was professional and flexible and allowed my sister to sing a song during the ceremony, which was really important to us. I would recommend Karly for any musical event- we are so glad she was able to sing and play at our wedding. -

We are so thankful for the work Karlyn did for the music for our wedding ceremony! She made the planning process very easy and not only did she provide an extensive song list for us to choose from (including some of her original songs, which were absolutely beautiful and so unique!) she also learned a song we wanted that was not on the list. She coordinated a harpist to accompany her, which was beautiful, and had all the equipment she needed as well (including a mic for our ceremony, which our venue did not have!) Most of all, we are thankful for the awesome job Karlyn did the day of the wedding. We were very late starting our ceremony due to some bridesmaid makeup issues and she played flawlessly and kept guest entertained during the delay. I highly recommend Karlyn Music, Piano, Voice, and Ensembles! -

Our original vocalist for our wedding backed out after 6 months into our wedding planning process. Karly was more than accommodating and flexible to ensure we had beautiful music on our big day. We are still getting compliments on our ceremony music, everyone loved her. Karly knows a multitude of beautiful pieces and she was willing to customize our music to how we envisioned it. We loved every song we chose and Karly's voice really filled up our venue and left everyone with goosebumps! -

We were looking for someone that would help us put the music together. We needed to find a quartet, piano, guitarist, percussion etc. We had ceremony and cocktail music to create a great music atmosphere. When we found Karly on the internet and met with her we felt very blessed because we were crunching on time and we did not have any contacts of who are the best in town to even start our research. Karly gathered all key people that played the instruments that we were looking for. She saved us on time but most important less stress on us. We were very impressed with the talents of our quartet, guitarist and percussion and Karly talent on piano. our wedding music was absolutely beautiful. We were very impressed!!! our guest had also mentioned how impressed they were with the music. My husband and i had an idea of what music we wanted but didnt know the order or how to put the program together of our ceremony, Karly was a big help to organize that for us. We highly recommend her, we absolutely loved her service and proffesionalism. -

From the moment we decided we wanted live music for our outside summer wedding I envisioned "Karlyn Music" in my head. And, from the moment I walked into her home with my son and future daughter-in-law I knew in my heart we had come to the right place. She was so patient and helpful in choosing all our selections and was a huge part of our decision making from the very beginning, offering her suggestions and input. She spent all the time we needed to feel comfortable with the decisions we were making and after our time spent together I never once questioned any of the music chosen. I left knowing we were in GOOD hands! The wedding was beautiful in every aspect from the venue, to the weather, to the vows, and the music which was just perfect in every way. Karly also helped us choose the songs for the bride and groom's first dance, the bride's first dance with her father, and even learned the song that I chose for my first dance with my son at the reception. There wasn't a dry eye in the house and I'm still hearing rave reviews about the music. Karly made a truly special day for our family just that much more memorable. She sings like an angel and will always have special place in my heart! -

After getting engaged Karly was one of the very first vendors I contacted. From seeing her sing at friends weddings I knew I had to have her. Being from Sioux City, IA, I thought it was going to be difficult to find someone to sing for my wedding in Omaha, NE. However, after attending a friend’s wedding and hearing Karly’s amazing voice, I knew she was the right fit for the day of my wedding.
Working with Karly was such a pleasure, she is extremely professional and organized. She was open to all of my ideas for the song choices and came prepared with several ideas of her own. Karly also found other musicians to assist her on the wedding day.
After the wedding, I had numerous out-of-town guests come up to me to compliment how beautiful Karly sang. I remember one of my guests saying “I have never heard someone sing with such a remarkable voice at a wedding, she was absolutely magical”.
I would absolutely recommend using Karly for your special day.

5 Stars all the way! Karly is amazing! She has a beautiful voice, is extremely experienced, writes her own beautiful music and is extremely organized! I completely trusted Karly as she is experienced above and beyond for an Omaha wedding. Her presence is calming and she made every part of our ceremony memorable. She made our ceremony special, she was able to bring traditional wedding music with a twist. She helped us make our wedding a bit more unique than any other wedding before. We had several complements on our ceremony music! She added a special touch to our reception as well. She played the piano and sang during our cocktail hour, which we had a lot of compliments too. She's extremely professional, has a smile that will make your guests feel special when they walk into your recpetion and is talented beyond words.
I met with her over coffee and told her some of my ideas. I knew what songs I liked when I heard them but could not remember all the wedding songs when I sat down with her. She sent us a packet with ceremony music as well as cocktail music. After looking over the music she met with us for a second time and she played songs on the piano and sang them for us to hear so we knew what we liked! Her direction and advice was much appreciated and exactly what we needed. She is patient and could feel our taste in music after meeting with us. She knew just what to do!
On the day of the ceremony I did not have to worry about a thing! Karly did everything, set up, tear down etc.
If you get the chance to book Karly for your wedding you will not be disappointed, she will impress you and your guests and make your day extra beautiful! My dad and I walked up the aisle to Karly singing a song she wrote called "Beautiful Day" absolutely gorgeous! We were SO blessed to have her be apart of our day, as well as guide us in the right direction to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. -

Karly performed the ceremony music for our wedding. She has an incredible voice and is a very talented musician. Not only was she easy to work with, but she provided suggestions and helped guide us through picking the songs for our ceremony. She met with us and played any song that we wanted to hear so that we could get a feel for how it would sound on our big day. As the Mother of the Groom, I hired Karly with about 6 months notice and she kept in touch promptly. She arrived ahead of schedule and set up, performed beautifully and went over and beyond for us when the audio hire failed to perform. She jumped in with her equipment to save the day. She played piano and sang for the cocktail hour then played piano for the rehearsal dinner. Absolutely gorgeous and angelic. We received many many positive comments about her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I actually feel HONORED to have hired Karly played at my wedding! Her talent is beyond most musicians I have heard, and her knowledge of songs seemed infinite. Karly is an incredibly talented musician and I am so happy we chose her to perform our wedding ceremony music. I simply cannot overstate how gorgeous the music was. Her talent is frankly overwhelming. The music blew me away.
Karly is also extremely professional and set me at ease from the first moment I made contact with her. She even helped us pick out our ceremony music, which I greatly appreciated. Most impressive of all, Karly performed our candle-lighting song in Spanish, a language she does not speak! It was gorgeous. Her personal styled ebbed through the entire song and just melted my heart.

I wanted my cousins that live out of state to play violin during the ceremony, and without any hesitation, Karly got in contact with my cousins, sent them the ceremony music so they could practice, and if there wasn't a violin part in one of the songs I chose, she said she would write it in for them! We LOVED working with Karly! She was amazing. She met with us one time in her home to play some music for us and talk about what we wanted. Jaron and I were clueless about music in general so she came up with a lot of great options for us. For our unity candle, she did her own compilation of our first dance song, "You Put a Move on My Heart" by Quincy Jones... it was so beautiful! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a spectacular soloist/pianist that will wow all your guests. I had several come up to me at the reception asking who she was and where to find her! -

Karly has the most amazing voice! Everyone that came up to us in our receiving line was blown away by her. When we went to meet her for the first time, we knew immediately that she would have to sing at our wedding. She is so much fun to work with and was very prompt in getting back to me throughout the whole process. I want to have another wedding just to have her sing again! Karly made our ceremony so personal. There wasn't a dry eye in the Church during the lighting of the unity candle when she sang "To Make You Feel My Love." -

We were absolutely thrilled to have Karly sing and play at our wedding! She was great in helping us pick out music. We weren't sure what we wanted, and Karly did a terrific job of guiding us to selections that were perfect for our ceremony. Karly was organized, professional, and open to learning specific songs I wanted to use during our ceremony. I definitely heard plenty of compliments that night about the music, and myself was very impressed. I'm very glad I chose her for such an important element of the wedding. -

Karly was so professional and her music helped us create the ceremony of our dreams! Working with her to choose the music for our ceremony was such a fun part of the planning process. She was so knowledgeable and had many helpful suggestions. We had some particular songs we wanted and she was very willing to learn them for us. Karly played for our daughter's spring wedding and was delightful to work with. She was a pro and sang a beautiful orginal tune written for the occasion. It was such a lovely gift. She was fully prepared and was cool under pressure, since we did a lot of changing of the plans for the outdoor event where weather was a challenge, but she smiled and made it work effortlessly. Our daughter was delighted that she was also able to take many favorite tunes and make them an integral part of her special day. We couldn't have asked for a more professional pianist and vocalist. She was always working to make our daughter's day special for her in every way. -

Karlyn made this day wonderful and perfect! I'm from a musical family and so the music was high priority. We searched on line and found wonderful reviews for Karly and ended up knowing her family. She was so accommodating to our schedule met us in her home to play music and explore our request. She arranged many of her own pieces that were beautiful and also worked with my neice who sings opera. She had worked with the string quartet we contacted and took over from there in email to keep us all in the loop. The amazing thing was she did this all while playing her own wedding! I can't tell you how many compliments we got from everyone who attended the wedding. People felt like they were at a beautiful concert. My daughter's wedding was beautiful and thanks to Karly it had all the personal touches.

Karly was one of our favorite parts of the wedding! Her beautiful vocals combined with her piano talent were unbeatable! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the music.
