From the first convo to the final delivery, he made everything so seamless and stress-free. He captured every tear, every laugh, and all the little moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The way he told our story? Chef’s kiss. The vibe was real, nothing felt staged, and the final video had us reliving our day over and over. If you’re looking for a photographer and videographer (yes he does both if you’re looking for luxury but on a budget) that gets it—the emotions, the fun, the realness—this is it. 10/10 would book again (but, you know, hopefully, we only get married once). -

How did Karl make our wedding look this incredible?! We knew we wanted amazing photos, but we weren’t ready for just how stunning they would be. Every shot feels so intentional, like he captured the exact emotions of the day in a single frame. The way he plays with lighting, angles, and details makes everything look straight out of a high-end wedding editorial.
He’s also just so easy to vibe with. He gave just the right amount of direction without making anything feel stiff or awkward. We were able to just be ourselves, and he somehow caught every candid, emotional, and little in-between moment without us even realizing.

You need Karl to make sure your wedding looks beautiful
From the second we saw his work online, we knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding, but seeing our own photos was absolutely unreal. He captured every moment with effortless elegance, making everything look so refined and intentional. There’s a richness to his images that feels like they belong in a gallery. The tones are soft yet bold, classic yet full of life.
He has an incredible way of making even the simplest moments feel cinematic. A glance, a touch, the way the dress caught the light, almost anything could be a picture to frame. Karl’s work is all about luxury. We were looking for wedding photos that felt classy, timeless, and effortlessly fancy—and that’s exactly what we received. Each picture has this soft, film-like quality, almost like it was taken from old fine art prints and there were over 500 pictures of our wedding. The subdued colors, natural lighting, and amazing depth make the photos look like they belong in a high-end bridal magazine.
What really stood out to us was how he made everything seem so easy. He captured the beauty of the venue, those little moments in between, and the emotions so naturally. The final collection felt expensive, polished, and sophisticated—yet the whole experience was relaxed, fun, and never stiff. He was also very good in posing us for those times we ran out of the posed shots we took from online. It was everything we hoped for and even more.
The best part? We didn’t have to spend a ton of money to get this kind of quality. Karl provides that high-end, magazine-worthy look without the crazy price. If you want wedding photos that are luxurious but still feel personal and intimate, Karl is definitely the one to hire.
He would say that if you splurge on a fancy venue, a beautiful dress, delicious food, and stunning decorations but cut corners on hiring a skilled photographer, then all those lavish details won’t shine in the photos like they would with the right photographer. Without a doubt, he’s the best decision we made for our wedding.

I cannot recommend Karl enough for a wedding boudoir shoot! It was my first time to do this kind of shoot and was way outside my comfort zone, but Karl made the whole experience feel so effortless and uplifting. His ability to create a safe, supportive environment is quite impressive, and by the end of the session, I felt confident like I’ve done it many times before.
The final photos were jaw-dropping. They weren’t just sexy—they were classy, powerful, and completely unique to me. He studies and understands your best angles and uses different lighting, poses and composition to make you look like a goddess. These weren’t just photos for my husband, they were a celebration of me, and I’ve never felt more beautiful.
What really stood out was his professionalism all throughout the shoot, especially in those moments you feel vulnerable. He shows this genuine interest and works with you on his ideas to make you look so elegant. He made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process, and his guidance on poses was so natural and encouraging. If you’re considering a boudoir shoot, don’t hesitate—Karl will make it an experience you’ll never forget and most importantly, will make you feel safe!
Karl, thanks for reminding me just how amazing I can feel in my own skin! It was nuts and I’m already thinking of doing one when I get pregnant.

Crisp Elegant Vintage Vibe!
We are so happy with the photos Karl took at our wedding in September! From start to finish, he made everything super easy and chill. Karl is professional and also really down-to-earth, which made us feel comfortable the whole time from the moment we had our first Zoom meeting with him. On our wedding day, he was there way before the start time in our contract. He toured the venue and looked for the great spots to take the different pictures of the day. He even found a good place for our dogs who were part of our wedding. He was great at getting all the important shots without making us feel like we were posing all day.
The photos turned out amazing! He captured all the little moments and emotions perfectly, and the quality is top-notch. We couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out.
We also loved the luxurious, vintage feel of the photos. There’s this timeless, elegant vibe to them that we absolutely adore—it looks like something out of an old movie, but still feels modern. And the best part? We got all of this incredible work without breaking the bank. It’s the perfect mix of quality and value! Booking a boudoir session with Karl was one of the most empowering and incredible experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment he walked into our house, he made me feel completely at ease. Let’s be real—I was nervous! But Karl’s professionalism, warmth, and confidence in his craft made it easy to relax and just have fun.
My pictures were absolutely stunning. I didn’t even recognize myself in the best way possible! He has this insane ability to capture your beauty in a way that feels natural, elegant, and so you. The attention to detail, the lighting, and the way he highlighted my features made me feel like a work of art.

Expensive-looking pictures for a very affordable price
If you want your wedding pictures that look like they belong in a fancy magazine, Karl is your guy. From the first to the 500th picture he sent us, every single one felt elegant and luxurious. We wanted our wedding photos to be more than just regular pictures—we wanted them to have that luxury look that makes you think we spent tens of thousands of dollars like those celebrity millionaires. Lol. But no, Karl’s prices are very affordable considering we got over 500 pictures for the day of our wedding and you can frame every single one. It was that good. Going back I would have paid him more if I knew the value of what I was getting. We’re from the midwest who got married in LA and there were photographers charging thousands more back home and their work wasn’t even half the quality of what we got.
Anyway, this is how I want to show my gratitude to Karl. He is one of the most honest persons you’ll ever meet. If he tells you he can shoot a certain style based on some pictures you show him, he will tell you if he can or cannot and offer suggestions. He never forced us to decide right away and never pushed us on other packages other than what we needed (we only needed photos so we went with the Something Blue). Truly a humble and stand up guy!
Save your time and just book with this dude. You will not regret it and you will thank me later. -

Wow, where do we even start? Karl Lascano completely blew us away! From the moment we booked him, he was all in—asking about our story, our style, and the little details that made our wedding us. He wasn’t just there to snap pictures; he was there to capture our whole vibe.

Karl was the perfect engagement and wedding photographer for us. As soon as I met him on Zoom, I knew I wanted to work with him. Additionally, he was fantastic on the day of the event! Without him, we wouldn't have been able to get through the day. It was an amazing experience, and the results were outstanding. The pictures were gorgeous! I can't say enough about Karl and how he helped make our special day relaxing and fun. I felt like a model with all the poses he made me try on my solo and the pictures turned out to be fantastic. My experience with Karl started when my bf hired him when he proposed. So we know him for over 2 years now. The biggest reason we picked him to do pictures and videos for our wedding was the images from the proposal day were absolutely beautiful! They are maybe the best pictures that someone took of me in my life! No kidding! I had experience with 2 or 3 professional photographers in the past so I thought they were just going to be the same but when I opened that Google folder that Karl sent from our proposal, the pictures seemed to want to come out of the screen. They were almost 3 dimensional and I looked gorgeous!!! They are magazine quality and you would think that we had the whole beach to ourselves as there were no people in our pictures and the beach in Malibu that day was semi packed.
Needless to say that there were no other choices for us for our wedding but Karl. We actually had to incorporate his availability in the dates we chose so we are sure to have him.
I am 100% sure that you’ll love Karl like we did. He’s so humble, so easy to work with (we had many requests during our wedding day) and he will work hard to make you be satisfied with the results. Our video was like movie. The vows we said in the ceremony and the speeches at the reception became the voice over of the whole thing and was perfect. He also recorded the whole ceremony,our dances and all the toasts for no additional charge.
If you’re getting married and are afraid of the nightmares and cost associated with getting photographers and videographers, do yourself a favor and get Karl and his team to do your wedding. Would totally recommend him to anyone!

Emma Sent on 01/25/2024Unforgettable Bridal Boudoir Experience
Never have I thought that I would have a photoshoot done like this in my life. I was always shy and dont even have many pictures on my IG. But when my friends told me that this could be a good wedding gift for my future husband, I was really intrigued as i knew it would really shock him. So I searched LA for photographers who do this and that's how I found Karl.
The moment I talked to him I know that I'd be safe. It's like one of those feelings when you like talk to a teacher in school. Anyway, I'd have to say he's very patient. I think we spent 30 minutes over the phone and I did most of the talking with all my silly questions as I haven't done a photoshoot in my life. He explained the whole process to me and I learned so much how these shoots could be done. I followed his recommendation to get an airbnb and pick the best looking within my budget and I'm glad I did that. We shot in different places of the house I rented and not just in a bedroom like you'd maybe get when you rent a hotel room or a studio. It gave my pictures a lot of variety and looked liked I shot with Vogue or Vanity Fair. haha. I opted for a an extended shoot. I brought a whole bag of lingerie and knowing how long it would take me to change in between, I knew I needed more hours. I took his advice to make the most of the airbnb and asked my BFFs to come later that day and bring food and drinks and we partied and watched rom coms all evening.
I have to say because of Karl, I am now an expert in a boudoir or lingerie shoot. haha. I enjoyed every minute of that shoot. I felt like my most beautiful self if that makes sense. He just made me feel very taken care of I think is how I'd describe it that the fear I had when I first came out of my first piece from the bathroom went away so quickly that I forgot i even had that fear when we started. We started with just 'flow-posing' I think is the term and after a few minutes we reviewed my poses and I learned that there are angles that work best when you want to show the full body or 3/4s and all that. From then on he guided me to what my best angles are and I just had so much fun. I felt like a supermodel. haha. I'll just say that Karl is not just great at what he does. He's an awesome dude. Very respectful, very humble very kind.
After a week he sent me my digital pictures and boy I was blown-away. I never imagined that I'd ever look that sexy. haha I received so many great shots that I couldn't decide what to put in the book to be printed (btw, he recommended an online place to do it cheaper for good quality). I really wished I found him sooner so he could have been our wedding photographer too. I know now that there is definitely a difference in quality if you go with the right people. I did recommend him to my co-worker when she got engaged and she was very happy.
I remember my husband was shocked when I showed him the book with my pictures at the night of our wedding. Let's just say that made that night even more passionate.

My hubby and I didn't have enough time to plan our wedding as he was going to be deployed in summer of 2021. We researched and looked at so many photographers and videographers. We live near downtown LA so you can just imagine the number of options for these kinds of services. Our heads were spinning and stressing since we were running out of time. Reading nightmare stories of their wedding day definitely didn't help so we kept checking and rechecking all those available in our area.
One afternoon while Roberto and I were on the way home, I found one of Karl's ads online and just checked his website out. I watched one of his movies and something hit me emotionally and I told my hubby I want him to watch as well during dinner. At home we checked his reviews we found online - not here but in the usual review places online- and we saw a trend that people kept talking about this guy which was him having high integrity. I know this is a long intro for how we met Karl but that time was so stressful for us that it was such a blessing that we decided to go with him.
Speaking on the results we got from the photos and highlight film from Karl, let me describe it this way. In my huge friend group in the on-base housing. there were 4 girls who got engaged/married after Covid. All used photographers for their wedding and 3 of us had videos done. Until today, we get complimented on how beautiful our pictures were compared to theirs and our wedding video was like watching a real hollywood movie in quality. We didn't make much that year but wanted to spend enough to make our wedding memorably. Add on all the cash that went to catering, dresses, venue, dj, etc., it was like spending a small fortune getting married in LA. We are SOOO glad we chose Karl to do our photos and videos. he's worth every dollar we spent. Him and his team were so professional and we never had to look for them at any point that day. They were just there ready for the next thing from the ceremony and all the things we did at the reception and our wedding took almost the whole day. We have since been recommending him to co-workers, friends and family ever since. That's how much confident we are of his services. Thank you Karl for the great work and taking care of us. Good luck!
