  Beautiful wedding cake, great value

  Karen's Bakery made a beautiful and delicious cake for our outdoor wedding at Saluti Cellars! The white chocolate buttercream frosting was absolutely delicious and held up to the summer heat. Amanda was very responsive and flexible with helping me to plan from out of town. In addition to providing a lovely cake, Karen's Bakery also provided great value compared to many of the other bakeries that I looked into. I would highly recommend Karen's Bakery to anyone looking for an awesome wedding cake, at a reasonable price!

  We worked with Karen's for our wedding cake and Karen and her staff were such a pleasure to work with! all it took as a couple of photos of what I was looking for and they delivered a beautiful and delicious cake for our guests!

  Our cake was absolutely beautiful and taste amazing. It was perfect. Amanda from the bakery was so helpful from start to finish. She answered all my questions timely and had great suggestions. I'd recommend them to anyone.

  We worked with Karen's Bakery and Cafe for our wedding cake--the cake was delicious and the experience was wonderful! Amanda helped us with our order. She was very patient with my all-over-the place ideas, very friendly, and explained all the different options to us to work within our budget. It was such a stress-free process, and the cake was not only delicious but looked beautiful! I would highly recommend using Karen's for your wedding--or any special event--cake!

  Karen's Bakery did an outstanding job on our wedding cake. Amanda was great for our consultation, walked us thru the process, Helped us decide on flavor of cake..with so many to choose from - that were all delicious. When ready for final count , helped coordinate and decide on size of Main Wedding Cake and Secondary for the rest. We visit Folsom Area frequently. Karen's Bakery was recommended by a family member in the Area. They also offer delicious breakfast items, danishes, cookies and more. We definitely will go back for more, and possibly even another cake for our Anniversary.

When we met with Amanda, she was knowledgeable about current trends in cake decor and was very willing to work with the design I wanted (which was simple, but another vendor was not willing to step outside his comfort zone). The cake that arrived on my wedding day was exactly as we had discussed and I had pictured. The two flavors we chose were outstanding, and we got so many compliments on how tasty the cake was (we chose Rich Chocolate and Raspberry White Chocolate as flavors). Overall, we could not have chosen a better vendor - thank you Amanda and Karen's Bakery!

  Pretty wedding cakes aren't hard to find, but those that taste just as good as they look are almost impossible. Until I tried Karen's. My eyes literally rolled back as I tasted each and every cake they presented me at the tasting. Even the ones that my fiance picked (we have completely different tastes by the way) were amazing. You won't go wrong picking Karen's. You would be safe even without a taste test. It's that good!

  Karen's Bakery did an excellent job with our wedding cake. It was delicious, beautiful, and less expensive than we had expected. We ordered their white chocolate cake with lemon curd filling. They did a great job with the black and white frosting decor from a picture that we provided them.

  Karen was so nice right when we stepped through the door! The staff was so friendly and helpful in showing us the various foods we had to chose from. We wanted to have a wide selection so everyone had something they could eat and enjoy. Our wedding guests really enjoyed the food. Some of the foods were casual and others were a bitmore artisitc. The selection and wide variety of foods they catered was awesome! I think everyone at the wedding wasn't planning on something like this. Everyone was full and enjoying their time. Thanks a lot and will look forward to coming in on a regular basis. Highly recommend!

  My husband and I chose Karen's Bakery to do our wedding cake. My husband had been to another wedding that had used Karen's Bakery and he loved the cake. I was sold on them because they seemed to be the only place that offered a better selection of cake flavors than most other places I looked at for the same price.
  
  We met with Amanda to do our tasting. She was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide how much cake we would need and what designs would work best for how much we wanted to spend. The flavors we tried were white chocolate lemon curd, peanut butter chocolate, almond praline, and dulce de leche. I was not a fan of the almond praline but that is just because I do not like almond flavoring.
  
  We went with the dulce de leche for our presentation cake and got the white chocolate lemon curd and peanut butter chocolate as sheet cakes. I could not decide which one I like best so picked all three!
  
  Amanda helped us through the whole process. She even called me to confirm if I wanted as much cake as originally stated because our final headcount was lower than expected. So helpful! The delivery of the cake went smooth, I assume, as no one mentioned any problems to me. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful! It tasted awesome. My fave ended up being the dulce de leche. So many of our guests raved about the cakes.

  Karen's bakery was the vendor for our venue for wedding cakes, so i have to say first that i did not do any searching or comparing. However with that said, they did a great job at trying to meet my expectations. The cakes that they have are delicious and the employee was very nice, flexible and understanding. I would recommend going with them.

  Karen's is the preferred vendor where we had our wedding reception (it was an all-inclusive venue). They did an excellent job bringing my vision of our wedding cake to life. I brought paint swatches of colors for the ombre design I envisioned for our cake and Karen's matched the colors of the icing for our cake to the swatches I presented at our tasting perfectly. They also had a beautiful gold cake stand we were able to use. We worked with Amanda at the bakery who was so helpful and very accommodating to my gluten allergy. The bakery has an assortment of cake flavors to choose from with a few gluten-free options. They were also able to accommodate my vegan guests with vegan brownies. The gluten-free cake flavors were not all suitable for a top layer so Amanda suggested a lemon flavor not listed on their cake list; I was not disappointed. In addition to the gluten-free lemon cake, we had 2 layers of raspberry and white chocolate cake and a layer of the chocolate and sea salt cake. You cannot go wrong with any of these flavors, they were a hit with all of our guests. The gluten-free cake was so moist. It made me feel like I was having a traditional cake. We saved the top layer of our cake and are so excited to have some on our anniversary.

  Karen's did a great job with our cake! In an era where people are fondant crazy, I wanted a simple, elegant buttercream. Our venue contracts with Karen's so they could have punted, but I felt listened to and respected.
