  Best wedding photographer out there!

  Picking Kara for our wedding photographer was the best choice we made in the whole wedding planning process. The moment I stepped into Kara's studio I felt so relaxed! She is a true pro and makes the whole process so easy. She has a great eye, not only for taking stunningly beautiful photographs, but also for capturing emotion, which makes for a set of photographs that really take you back to the day when you look at them. She gets a ton of amazing photographs out of every session and has a great attitude no matter what is happening (including hail at our wedding!). She put together a gorgeous engagement album for us that we will treasure forever.

  Picking Kara for our wedding photographer was the best choice we made in the whole wedding planning process. The moment I stepped into Kara's studio I felt so relaxed!   Amazing Photographer!

  Kara is absolutely amazing. Out of everything we spent money on for the wedding, she is worth every penny and then some. Not only is Kara extremely accommodating, but she also helps guide you through the entire process. Everyone in our wedding party loved working with her. She has a great sense of humor, positive personality, and you can feel how passionate she is about her job. Taking photos is not necessarily something everyone wants to spend time doing, however, with Kara even our extended families (over 100 people in total) commented on how amazing she was to work with (this is saying a LOT coming from a huge Italian family). My husband and I have been in 15+ weddings, and our experience with group shots has always been tedious and painful, posing for hours on end. Kara took our personal, family, and group photos in less than 2 hours – and there is not a single picture in the entire album we do not love!
  
  Kara’s ability to capture unique moments is beyond impressive. For our engagement session, it had rained the night before. She somehow managed to take a picture of a puddle capturing a reflection of my husband and I kissing with the Chicago skyline in the background. Truly amazing! The emotions that come through her work and the way the light is captured is magnificent. Each photo provides a story of our wedding day and even a stranger can feel what our day must have been like.
  
  Our final wedding gallery exceeded anything we ever hoped for. The turnaround was extremely fast, and we received our gallery in less than 5 weeks. I had over 12 people ask for Kara’s contact information to use in their upcoming weddings after seeing the photos posted online. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Kara, for perfectly capturing our love with photographs we will cherish for a lifetime.

  We worked with Kara on engagement photos and our wedding photos in CO. I can't recommend her enough -- not only did she make taking photos fun, but her work is exactly what we were looking for AND she's just a pleasure to be with. Some examples of her professionalism: she memorized the names of our extended family so when it came to family photos, she was able to say names and to get through them more quickly than we thought; she shared her feedback on our wedding day timeline and actually stayed on time!; she gave us sneak peek photos the same night of our wedding for us to drool over; she responds to emails/texts immediately. This is in addition to her phenomenal photography skills, from staged to non-staged and mountain to "city" landscapes. Kara was my favorite wedding vendor to work with and I'm so excited to continue having her document our CO life!

  Kara was wonderful throughout the entire process. We had a small wedding/elopement and she guided us through the details so that we could make the choices that were most meaningful to us. She was accommodating, professional, sweet, and most of all her photos were stunning! She understood exactly what we were going for, and delivered beyond our expectations. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

  I can't recommend Kara enough! Not only were her photos beautiful and artistically composed, she was also an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us out when we ran into a a snafu getting our cake from Denver to the mountains, provided vendor recommendations, and posted a few sneak peak photos of the wedding that night! Such an incredible turn around time. She and her amazing team really captured the full experience - it's been so fun to look at the photos and get transported back to one of the most magical days of our lives :)

  I have been waiting to book Kara for my own wedding since 2011, when she photographed a friend's wedding in Colorado. Simply put, she's incredible. My husband and I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality and selection of these pictures - she and her second shooter captured so many amazing moments and expressions of the people we love. The hardest choice we have now is deciding which ones to frame, because there are so many that perfectly sum up the day and how happy everyone was! Thanks for giving us so many memories of one of the best days of our lives.

  Kara shot my two older sisters weddings, as well as mine and my family and I have been thrilled with her. She is so easygoing and will do whatever you ask/want her to do.
  
  The most amazing part of Kara's service is that she is barely noticeable through out the event. Some photographers have bright, distracting flashes and/or are incredibly vocal.... Not Kara! You barely even notice she is there.
  
  When we received our engagement photos, I cried. Her final products are beautiful, artistic, and leave you in awe of what she is able to create while shooting. I love that she captures moments and makes you look better than you ever have before. We cannot wait to see our Wedding photos and are fairly certain we will be blown away with them as well :)
  
  Kara's response to emails is incredibly prompt. She is organized and all around "on top of it". Her website is easy to use and professional.
  
  Thanks for everything, Kara! You are such a talent and we are so appreciative to have gotten to know you and rely on you during the happiest time of our lives. We could not have made a better decision for Wedding Photography.

  Kara is absolutely wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. She was great to work with - laid back while still completely detail-oriented and professional - and the photos are really stunning. Everyone that has seen our photos has commented on how incredible they are. Kara captured so many great moments, including personal ones, but was never obtrusive in any way. She also definitely took flattering photos which is great on a day that you want to remember looking your best. Her assistant for the day (Gwen Shoemaker) was also fantastic.
  
  I live in DC, but if there comes a time that we want to have more photos taken, we'll definitely make the trip to Denver to use Kara again.

The pictures are all incredible - I keep looking back at them and thinking “Is that really me? I look awesome!”. The formal shots never felt stiff, we just were together and she captured it. And the second photographer she brought was equally talented. We live out of state but she arranged for us to get a bottle of wine from a local shop to have while watching a slide show of our pictures - a wonderful touch!
