I can't say enough good things about the incredible makeup and hair team! Katie and Kelly went above and beyond to ensure I felt absolutely beautiful all day. They took the time to customize my entire look, making it perfectly tailored to my vision.
Not only did they make me feel stunning, but they also worked their magic on my bridesmaids and mothers, helping them feel confident and beautiful as well. I truly appreciated the extra effort Alex made to travel to our hotel for my mothers' makeup, which made everything so much easier.
Throughout the day, they kept the atmosphere light and fun with great conversations, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this talented team for anyone looking to feel their best! -

Kaitlyn and her team worked their magic for my styled elopement photoshoot! With our original shoot date calling for heavy rain, Kaitlyn was flexible with us and available for the following day. I submitted a very Encanto vibe hair style with a more natural style make-up, and they blew it out of the park! They are also really easy-going, and we laughed together during the entire process! Katie was wonderful to work with! She was extremely flexible and very affordable. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so I wanted a natural look. We did a trial and adjusted afterwards and it was no trouble! My makeup looked incredible and stayed all night. She also did my bridal party's makeup and everyone raved about it. I felt so beautiful thanks to her work. She was a fun, calming presence on a stressful day! -

If you choose one vendor for your wedding choose Kaitlyn Elizabeth Styling. Working with her was such a delight from start to finish.
She was flexible with my requests for cruelty free products and with one of my bridesmaid’s allergies. She was LGBT friendly and had no qualms doing the makeup of my male bridespeople. My makeup lasted all night even through an outdoor ceremony and hours of dancing.
In addition to her beautiful work and professionalism, Katie is also just a really cool person. Getting your makeup done by her feels like getting your makeup done by a friend. -

When I told Katy I wanted my wedding look to be “me on my best day”, she made that happen perfectly. I went with airbrush makeup (traditional makeup for bridesmaids— who, as you can see look AMAZING) because I’m a crier, and I’m happy to say that my makeup and hair stayed beautiful the whole evening through crying and dancing and all. The morning of your wedding is of course an easy time to get nervous, so it also helped that both people working on us were so incredibly sweet. Definitely helped start the day on a relaxed and positive note! I’ve included some photos from Java Rose Photography, as well as a photo booth picture from the end of the night. Absolutely recommend! -

Kaitlyn Elizabeth Styling exceeded my expectations!! I had really short hair and was trying to figure out extensions for my wedding. My own hair stylist put the extensions in to see what they looked like and I honestly didn’t like them. On my wedding day, Katie and her team listened to my concerns and put me at ease with their calm and professional manner. They worked so fast but didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I almost cried when I saw myself in the mirror. I had no clue that I could feel that beautiful and confident on my wedding day. I cannot thank Katie enough for making my dream day come true! -

Working with Kaitlyn and Aly was one of the best decisions that I have made. Hair and makeup was something that I was super nervous about because my hair is hard to work with and I neveeerrr wear makeup. They listened to my requests and absolutely crushed it! So many guests said that they had never seen my hair and makeup look so beautiful. They were also able to give my entire bridal party the look that they wanted, and even let my mom add on the day of. They were AMAZING to work with!! -

We hired Kaitlyn and team after having to reschedule due to COVID and losing some of our original vendors. She quickly helped me schedule a trial and make me feel at ease. You’re probably reading these reviews because you’re looking for a Hair & Makeup team for your upcoming wedding. Well I’ve been there and I’m telling you now that your search is over. Kaitlyn & her team nothing short of miraculous. They are incredibly talented, professional, affordable, and know exactly what to say to keep the bride at ease on her special day. I’m no smoke show but praise Jesus they made me look like a Greek goddess on my wedding day. I’m also indecisive and they took the time to help me figure out the best makeup and hair styles to suit my bridesmaids. Her team is gifted and they have personalities that make getting ready a very enjoyable time! I can’t recommend them enough & they will always be my go to for makeup & hair needs! -

Kaitlyn and her team were amazing from booking them until the last minute before the wedding. Kaitlyn was very easy to work with and was very responsive (which was super great because we had a couple changes due to covid). She checked in with me before, during and after my trial and wedding. Amani (makeup) and Aly (hair) were also amazing. They made every bridesmaid and family in the wedding look perfect. They also made my 2 flower girls so excited to get their hair and makeup done. On the day of the wedding Amani and Aly were early and very prepared. They made everyone feel comfortable and listened to each of their personal requests and catered to them. They were both very professional. I am so happy I chose to have Kaitlyn Elizabeth Styling as my hair and makeup team! -

Absolutely Amazing!
Kaitlyn and Lyndsi are the absolute best! They made my trial run and my wedding day so easy! They planned everything down to what time each bridesmaid would get hair and makeup done. They finished the day of my wedding early enough to do final touch ups before the start of pictures. I highly recommend them to anyone! -

I recommend KES to everyone! She and her team worked with me to accommodate changing plans due to COVID, always making sure I felt excited and listened to. We had so much fun while I was getting ready for the day, which calmed my nerves and made it even more enjoyable. I was so happy with the look. My bridal party loved theirs as well. I’ve literally written this review then erased it so many times because there are so many things I want to share about how AMAZING Kaitlyn is and how talented she is.
For starters, I needed a make up artist for my wedding and I actually got a coworker of hers from a friend of mine; but due to some last minute changes she needed to recommended someone else for me and that was Kaitlyn! (Her pricing was a little bit more than what my first girl charged but she was happy to honor the price I was given first and that was something she didn’t have to do.) I was so grateful that Kaitlyn was able to help such last minute, as well as traveling to me without even knowing anything about me!
I had six ladies getting their make up done and she did exactly what each of them wanted, if not better! I was so pleased with how everyone’s make up turned out especially mine! I have never felt more confident everrrr. She made me feel good in my skin regardless of any blemishes, she would say “oh girl you are fine” and be able to cover everything up perfectly! She even gave me eye masks to put on about 15 minutes before she did my make up to reduce any type of swelling that may have been there!
She was amazing and was singing to our playlist and making our time with her so memorable! I had my golden doodle with us and she was just as sweet to her as she would be to her own (I would imagine!)
I cannot day enough good things about her because this would never end! She is so talented and amazing at what she does! I will definitely be recommending her to anyone and everyone! I also hope to have events where I can use her again! Hands down you want her at your wedding!! She is the BEST! -

Kaitlyn and her team provided makeup and hair for myself, bridesmaids and my mother. I couldn’t have been happier with the results and I know everyone else was satisfied too. Y’all! Kaitlyn is a legit miracle worker! I wish we would have taken a before picture on my wedding day because I rolled in looking like sweaty garbage and she made me feel like a princess by the time she was done!
I was telling my husband, who tells me I’m beautiful everyday, that I never really look in the mirror and see it too... but I did on my wedding day and that was because of Kaitlyn’s amazing talent! I seriously have never felt so beautiful! Ever! And, we didn’t even have to do a trial run beforehand! I sent her a few photos and described what I was looking for and she did exactly that!
She is one of the sweetest people I know! And she just goes above and beyond! I was running late and she put her things down and helped me unload all the wedding stuff out of my truck! She’s just amazing!
Also! Her makeup products are fantastic! Makeup usually makes me breakout. When I use mine I’ll have at least 2 new bumps by the end of the day. But I wore the makeup she put on my face for like 24 hours, I’m awful I know, and not a single breakout! That seriously says a lot for me! And my eyelashes stayed on! I’m a wedding photographer and most of my brides lashes are starting to come off by the end of the day... not mine! I wore them for 24 hours and still had to pry those suckers off!
To sum it all up, Kaitlyn is freaking amazing and you shouldn’t get married without her!

I hired Katie for my wedding makeup for me, my gals, and my mom! She was incredible to work with! Katie answered all my questions, and went above and beyond to help me decide on my final look for the wedding. My makeup trial was awesome, Katie was able to distill down my ideas into a cohesive, beautiful look. I always felt like I looked like a glammed up version of myself and received many compliments on my makeup. It looked incredible from the start and lasted all day, and into the night! Katie was so professional, organized and fun! My bridesmaids were all very happy with their makeup; Katie is very talented and I can’t recommend her enough!

I live in a different state than where my wedding was held and was not able to get a trial run done before my wedding day. Normally I would have been worried about that but she checked in with me multiple times before the wedding and seeing her work on other brides made me so comfortable with waiting till the day of the wedding. She was the sweetest person to work with, listened to what type of look I wanted, and then pulled it off flawlessly. I looked like, but even more importantly, felt like a goddess on my wedding day! For my wedding day I had nine bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law, and myself all getting our make-up done by Katie’s team and every single woman loved their day of look! They each felt pampered, glamorous, but also natural and themselves. Not only was Katie skilled at makeup, but she was extremely responsive to any questions I had and took the time to reach out to me with emails and texts of encouragement and reminders. Katie did an absolutely amazing job with my make-up on my wedding day. I wanted a natural not overdone look and she did just that. Sarah Sent on 10/09/2018Y’all!!! Kaitlyn is the real deal- she’s AMAZING!! I was supposed to get married in Wilmington, NC but had to move my wedding to Winston Salem due to Hurricane Florence. In much despair, I reached out to Kailyn among other vendors and she wrote me back within minutes willing to help! Not only that, she also came to my venue where we were getting ready. As any bride can imagine it was a super stressful time but Kaitlyn was so sweet and professional, there was zero stress!! She was able to accommodate all of my bridesmaids and family. She took the time to ask us how we envisioned our look to be and then showed us along the way In case we wanted to change anything (we didn’t....she seriously nailed it!). Kaitlyn is so talented and she will make you look like the prettiest version of yourself! Everyone (even if you’re not a bride) needs to feel this way, even if just once! I’d have her do my makeup everyday if I could! Can’t recommend this girl enough!!!!!!

Katie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She did my makeup for my engagement photos (which we used as our trial run for the wedding day look - I highly recommend doing this so you can work out any changes and try out the look before your big day!) as well as wedding day makeup for me, my mom, and each of my 3 bridesmaids. She brought everything she needed and created the most beautiful looks, unique and tailored to each girl. Plus, my makeup looked perfect ALL NIGHT LONG. In the middle of the NC summer heat/humidity in June, my makeup didn’t budge or wear off at all. That being said, everything was easy to remove later that night, no special scrubbing or elbow grease needed. I felt gorgeous all night long, and Katie made sure that throughout the whole process I felt comfortable and looked like myself (just a little more glammed up for my big day!) I also received compliments all night long on how beautiful my makeup turned out. I booked Katie well in advance because I knew I only wanted her to be my makeup artist! She exceeded my expectations and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. She was SO sweet and even willing to give this anxious bride some advice the week before the wedding when I began breaking out. (Who knew?! Neosporin and bandaids!) Katie was very relaxed and her calm demeanor helped ease my nerves so much before walking down the aisle. Highly recommend! -
