  Hire Katie!

  Hiring Katie as our wedding photographer was truly one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day. Katie is not only a photographer, but also a friend, a planner, a decision maker, a dress fluffer, a hype girl, a drink reminder - honestly anything you could need she is there to lend a hand! Katie was incredibly responsive anytime I had a question throughout the planning process. She also helped me unscramble my thoughts on what I needed for a timeline and a picture list on the day of with her knowledge and expertise. Not to mention her obvious talent and the incredible pictures I will now cherish for the rest of my life! I could not recommend Katie more as a photographer, we are so lucky to have worked with her.

  Best Wedding Photographer in Boston

  We can’t say enough good things about Katie Karlberg photography. We first met with Katie one on one and instantly connected with her! She is so personable and made us feel like we were the most special couple in the world. We did an engagement shoot last summer and my husband and I were both nervous to be in front of the camera but it was honestly one of the best days ever. She made us laugh and feel comfortable in a matter of minutes. Last month, Katie photographed our intimate wedding, which we had to change from 130 people → 10 people because of covid-19. Even though the wedding was very different from what we expected it was beautiful and the most special day ever. Katie feels like a long time friend and once again made us feel so at ease. Katie even gave us sneak peaks of our wedding pictures within 24 hours which is simply amazing! Do not think twice about booking Katie for your next event.

  Wonderful!

  Katie was everything we hoped for and more!! She was simply a joy to work with, and her photos are absolutely stunning. From the beginning, her professionalism and bright personality set her apart from other photographers we had considered. She took both of our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we are beyond thrilled with how they turned out!!! Our family and friends also cannot say enough glowing reviews of both the beautiful photography as well as Katie's professionalism and kindness the day of. As the bride, Katie went above and beyond during the wedding day: not only did she efficiently organize photos, but also pitched in when she saw a need (e.g. helped with my hair when I caught my hair clip on a branch, laid out her own jacket on a park bench so I could get a brief reprieve from my high heels). We can't say anything but positive things about our experience with Katie, and would enthusiastically recommend her for any couple looking for a wedding photographer.

  Do yourself a favor and work with Katie!!!

  Katie is hands down the best photographer and overall person ever! We were connected through a mutual friend early on in our wedding planning, and she made every step of our wedding a breeze from then on! She is so beyond positive and such a joy to talk to and be around. Aside from her amazing skills as a photographer, she was also so helpful in selecting vendors and the wedding planning process in general!
  
  Now to the photos... we had our engagement photos with Katie before our big day! We aren't normally too comfortable in front of the camera, and Katie knew exactly what to say to get us laughing and posing in such a natural way!! She captured our love and the fall in Boston just perfectly. We had such a hard time choosing which photo to select for our Save the Dates because she gave us so many to choose from!!
  
  She was exactly who we wanted by our side on our wedding day too! She was so professional with the questionnaire to find out exactly what shots we wanted (which she made sure to capture all of them!), and so creative with all the additional shots taken that day. We had such a large wedding party and Katie somehow never captured anyone blinking an eye in any photo!!
  
  We are so lucky we got to work with Katie for our wedding day. We're so happy to now have such a great friend, and can't wait to use her again in the future!!

  So happy with our photos!

  K+O Photo exceeded any expectations we had when looking for a photographer. We had reached out about a year before the big day and spoke with Katie on the phone for about 30-45 minutes. Katie was so knowledgeable, upbeat and positive, and was a breeze to communicate with. We also had her for our engagement pictures and she was a dream to work with. We had rescheduled twice, once due to 100 degree weather and she was able to accommodate on the fly with us. She went with us to three different locations and made us feel at ease through the whole process. We knew we made the perfect decision in picking Katie (K+O) when we received our engagement pictures shortly after. They were exactly what we wanted for our pictures! Bright, clear, and full of color. Leading up to the wedding she sent over a form to gather as much information from us as possible (shots we wanted, dynamics of the bridal party/ families, etc). We also got on the phone a few days before the wedding and Katie was great at calming my nerves! On the big day Katie and her second photographer arrived before their planned time and started the picture taking immediately. We had a big wedding (210 guests) and wanted photo’s with all family groups and Katie was quick and efficient getting the right people into the photos. Within two days of our wedding we had 70 pictures back! We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures and we’re beyond happy with the outcome thus far. Thank you Katie for everything, you were such a pleasure and hopefully we can work together again in the future! We would highly recommend her for your wedding and you would not be disappointed.

  Best choice made for our wedding.

  If you have a date you're even thinking about for your wedding, book K+O now! Katie is absolutely amazing. Our pictures came out more gorgeous than I could ever imagine, and I am floored by the (82!!) sneak peeks we got three days after our wedding, which was on a weekend she had three weddings. She captured exactly the look we were going for, got all the shots I wanted, and edited them beautifully. Acquaintances are coming up to me telling me they screenshot some of my photos to send to their photographers. Then, there's working with Katie. You could not find a more fun, kind, knowledgeable, and just all-around wonderful person be with you for the entirety of your wedding day. She made me feel so relaxed when I thought I'd be anxious in front of the camera on the big day, went through every situation with great logistics in mind, and even helped button majority of my tricky wedding dress buttons!! I will never be able to say enough good things about Katie as both a professional vendor and a person.

  Best Photographer EVER

  Katie and her team are amazing! They are fun and are able to make everyone feel comfortable! We had the best experience with them. She photographed 3 weddings during my weekend an still was able to get about 50 edited shots to me to see by the end of the weekend!

  I had the opportunity to work with Katie three times: for a bridesmaids surprise photo shoot on our apple picking trip, for our engagement shoot, and of course our wedding day. Katie (and second shooter Ashley) were extremely thoughtful in making sure they captured all the shots we wanted. We were so excited by the variety of photos, and how the team worked carefully around the exciting summer scattered thundershowers on our big day. The team was extremely warm and easy to work with, keeping us, our bridal party, and guests laughing and comfortable. Thank you, Katie and Ashley, for the wonderful photographs and experience!

  Can't recommend Katie enough!

  Five stars isn't enough to capture Katie's talent, flexibility, and professionalism- it was a delight it was to have her photograph our wedding! We couldn't be happier with how our photos came out and received SO many compliments, both on the actual photos and how lovely it she was to work with. Beyond that, Katie was so communicative, helpful in advising us about timelines and locations, worked so easily with our vendors and seamlessly adjusted our whole timeline day of when we ran really late. Katie indulged my whim to find a specific South End location for portraits by finding it within 30 seconds on google images (maps? not sure how she found it from an address-less photo) but we are so appreciative!

  They are amazing!

  Where do I even start with K+O?! They were by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I remember my first phone call with Katie, about a year before our wedding, she put me so at ease and I immediately loved her. She is so friendly and positive, but also super professional and really knows her stuff. After the call we booked them and scheduled our engagement shoot. My fiance and I were a little nervous before the engagement shoot because we aren’t used to having a ton of pictures taken… but who really is?! All the fears floated away the second we saw Katie at the park with her big camera lens and an even bigger smile! We had the BEST day and never once felt uncomfortable in front of the lens. It was so fun! The photos she took were stunning and she got them back to us very quickly!
  
  Leading up to the wedding day, Katie emailed the PERFECT questionnaire which made the whole photography part of the wedding a breeze. The couple months before your wedding can be a little crazy and hectic, so I loved that I could fill out this questionnaire on my own time and submit it once I was ready. Katie also offered to have a phone call or meet up to go over all the details if I wanted! K+O showed up at the hotel on my wedding day with the biggest smiles, best attitudes, ready to go! They were no doubt a ray of sunshine on our day. They are the perfect balance of “a positive person you want around” but also “super professional and getting stuff done behind the scenes.” Our wedding day was a little confusing with photos at four different locations. We did getting ready photos at the hotel, photos at the church ceremony, more photos at a farm down the street, and then the reception at another location. K+O knew the plan, kept us on schedule and everything was perfect! My bridesmaids and lots of guests at the wedding raved about them. And they had a sneak peek of our wedding ready within two days!
  
  I genuinely cannot say enough good things about K+O. If you are considering booking them for your wedding, trust me when I say it will be an amazing decision. I can guarantee they are only going to get more and more popular, so book them early if you can!
