I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Katey and KLW Floral Design. She made every single one of my floral dreams come true! From our initial call and prelim design deck, I knew that working with Katey would be different from other florists in the industry - she was so incredibly thoughtful when looking through my inspo, drew reference from the gardens at our venue and our color palette, and understood our vision to a T.
Leading up to our wedding, I felt like I was in the best of hands. Katey and I were fully aligned in every single design decision, and I had full trust in here that everything would work out beautifully. It was incredible to be able to let the expert do the work, and to have that work SHINE on wedding day!
On the day of, Katey and her team delivered by bouquet to our getting ready location, seamlessly set up all the florals, delivered extra flowers for my flat lays and cake, and were all around incredible to work with. I saw them from afar during our first look, and truly, it's like a crew of floral fairies!
Katey and team - thank you for bringing our vision to life in the most amazing way. Our guests were ooo-ing and ahhh-ing over our flowers all night long, and I only wish we could have kept them forever! You are true artists! XO -

The Details that Stunned
Katey and the KLW crew were amazing in making my wedding stunning! The team came highly recommended from our planner. We worked together to take a vision and make it a reality. I had some ideas on what I wanted, but Katey was able to create some amazing pieces including hydrangea illusion arches, a bar piece that looked like it was dripping flowers, and gorgeous table scapes that were dainty yet interesting with the addition of figs (Katey’s idea!). The team was wonderful to work with, was extremely collaborative over a few meetings, and executed beautifully. -

So amazing!
Katey of KLW was the most amazing and creatively supportive vendor to work with. I can not say enough positive things about her. She was SO supportive of all my ideas and kept lines of communication completely open. On my wedding day I was SO excited to see my florals and had zero concerns about the final product. On a day with so much going on, it feels like a gift to not be worried about certain details. Katey met with me on multiple occasions to discuss my vision and supported us along the way! -

I do not even know where to begin with KLW and Katey and how incredible they were! Hiring them for our May 2021 postponed wedding was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. From the very first email and initial call, Katey was a wealth of knowledge, ideas, creativity, honesty, and beyond helpful. While she listened to everything I envisioned for wedding florals, she also offered her expertise and insight which was invaluable. Throughout the course of working with her, it is clear you can trust her skill and I am beyond glad I did - our wedding florals were breathtaking! Our guests are still talking about them weeks later and I cannot stop looking at photos - from the altar, to the ceremony pieces, to the bouquets, to the centerpieces, to the floral chandelier....all beyond AMAZING! I highly recommend KLW and their extremely talented team. -

AN ABSOLUTE DREAM!! KLW was the best thing we ever did for our wedding. They made all of our visions and dreams come true. Every single flower and detail was absolutely PERFECT. Working with Katey and Leigh throughout the entire process was so smooth and they are honestly creative genius'!! Not to mention, their rentals are SO cool. I'm telling you, just stop here and book them. You will NOT be disappointed. I could go on for days. Absolute magic!! Thank you SO much, it was everything I could have dreamed of and more -

Katey and her team are phenomenal. They took my vision of a fern & wildflower paradise and transformed it into a real life dream, bigger than I could have ever thought of. Quality of floral was impeccable. Hard working and diligent, Katey and Leigh arrived early to set up, ensuring everything was perfect before the nuptials. Flexible and understanding of unique needs, they reorganized plants to help meet budget needs and decor gaps in the reception area, & arrived back at the venue the next day to help clean up. I cannot express how wonderful it felt knowing I had a team of true professionals by my side while I was getting married. I would book them one hundred times over!! -

This mother daughter team went above and beyond what I could have expected. Not only was I amazed by their work but my guests were in awe of the beautiful floral displays and honestly they made my whole night! My bridesmaid took some of the flowers from my bridal bouquet to press so I can frame them and keep them in my house forever. I gave a vague floral color palette and they chose so many beautiful blooms to make my vision come to life. I cannot recommend them enough how easy going they were and how comprehensive the whole process was! -

If you're looking for flower/detail magic, you've come to the right place. Katey & Leigh are not only inspo wizards, they are truly the sweetest, most genuine people to work with. They always responded to me in a timely manor and they made everything I envisioned come to life, and then some. I cannot thank them enough for being the absolute BEST! Don't bother looking anywhere else, this is who you should choose! HANDS DOWN. -
Kelley Sent on 06/26/2018I could not have been happier with the work this amazing team did. They are not just a floral/design team, but true artists. I mostly worked with Katey who was sweet, helpful, responsive, and flexible. When we went to find a florists, KLW was hands down my first choice because of the gorgeous work I saw from them. However, I was hesitant because (rightfully so), this gorgeous work comes at a price. Nevertheless, we were able to customize what we had them do and ultimately, everything was very reasonable - especially given the exquisite quality. If you're looking for natural beauty and two amazing women to work with for your wedding, look no further!

Jennifer Sent on 10/25/2017If you are looking for a floral design company that is highly creative, has a keen design sense (beyond just florals), goes above and beyond, and has the sweetest team, then book K.L.W Design Co. We came across K.L.W's work for a wedding that had taken place at our venue and we instantly fell in love with how they transformed Handsome Hollow's already beautiful barn into a romantic setting. We had connected with so many florists and even toyed with the idea of doing our own florals but Leigh and Katey were so amazing - from the first call to their follow up proposal - we knew we had to work with them. We were instantly impressed with how organized they were, their understanding of our inspiration and vision, and we greatly appreciated their willingness to work with our budget. Despite our somewhat minimal budget, Leigh and Katey managed to create the most wonderful woodsy whimsy tablescapes for us which featured a moss and fern runner and bud vases with the most gorgeous colored flowers as well as beautiful arrangements for our arbor and seating chart. KLW also has amazing rentals including table card holders, votives, and an awesome bar sign - all of which we used. As a bride, the process of finalizing florals was one that gave me some anxiety because it's the only thing you can't fully experience until the day of, but Katey and Leigh made themselves available to talk things through with and to share their ideas or hear mine out and I really appreciated that. Leigh & Katey, we can't thank you enough for your patience throughout our year long conversation and for taking our vision and inspiration and creating something more beautiful than what we even hoped for. We are truly so grateful and would give you the highest recommendation possible.

We hired KLW to do the floral arrangements and decor for our wedding at a private residence, and to say that we were beyond happy would be quite the understatement. Not only was the process leading up to the event both simple, and stress free, but they were one of the only things we did not have to worry about the day of our wedding.
The arrangements and decor were stunning and wonderful, and they did an amazing job transforming a simple patio with a tent into a whole other world. All of our guests were just as enamored with the space as we were. Anyone can hire a local florist and get the same thing: Pick arrangement X, Y, Z; insert flowers A, B, C based on color choices. KLW not only curates every piece of decor and each individual flower, but it is done in a way where it feels special and unique to your wedding, not this color by numbers way of doing it most local businesses use. The result is absolutely breathtaking
The fact is, I could go on and on with praise, but I think it comes down to the fact that it is sad to say that in most cases when you hire a company to do work for a wedding you end up holding their hand through the process; with KLW we had a sit down meeting about what we wanted, and our mood board presented to us perfectly captured the feel and look we were going for. From that point on, we didn't have to do anything. They took all of the stress, and work out of our hands, and that is something you cannot put a price on, especially with the all the stress the big day brings.
I can say without hesitation that KLW was the best money we spent on our wedding. Impeccable work, extremely talented and professional, and genuinely sweet people that made our day so very special. -

User2318851 Sent on 07/10/2016As a Boston-based bride planning my Connecticut Essex Steam Train/Lace Factory wedding, putting together an amazing team of local wedding vendors to execute our vision for our big day was a top priority. I am so happy I found Katey and KLW Design who provided the most beautiful and unique specialty wedding decor pieces for our boho/industrial wedding. Right from my first conversation with Katey, she instantly understood my vision for our wedding and my overall style. Katey went out of her way to provide recommendations for decor styling, and even went above and beyond by thrifting and painting a last minute furniture piece to showcase my escort card display. Everything from the vintage settee, poufs, pillows, and boho-styled chairs that Katey used to create our lounge space for our guests at our reception to the GORGEOUS bohemian carpets which Katey used to create the most beautiful aisle at our ceremony, all of the pieces KLW provided were beautifully curated and really helped bring our vision to life. When I say Katey went above in beyond, she really did. Knowing I am definitely a Type A kind of gal, one of the nicest things she did for me was create "visuals" of the carpets in her backyard so I could decide how I wanted to display the carpets at the ceremony. Katey also put together an inspiration board after our initial phone call (which she obviously nailed!), that laid out the "look and feel" we discussed and what pieces she could offer to rent. I not only loved Katey's professionalism, but she really has a great eye for wedding event styling and is just an absolute pleasure to work with. As mentioned, I also really admire Katey's willingness to go above and beyond for her brides. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for in KLW's inventory, Katey will go out of her way to find you the perfect piece and tailor it to your vision. Thanks KLW for making our wedding an absolute dream and for being such an amazing team to work with :) -

KLW Design Co. provided us with everything we were looking for! Their rental items and floral skills more than matched our wedding style perfectly. Katey was excellent at helping me make the right decisions! It can be extremely hard settling on decoration items or floral designs to use for your wedding with all of that inspiration out there but KLW knows how to pull everything together in the perfect way! Thank you so much KLW for your patience and skills!
