The entire JW Marriott Marco Island Team was very professional & easy to work with, especially for planning a destination wedding from across the country (also during COVID). They were very informative & transparent throughout the planning process & coordinated well with our planner on wedding day. The wedding & reception went off without a hitch— if there were any minor issues, we didn’t know about them! The team was very kind & accomadating to my husband and I on our special day & all weekend long! The resort is a dream location to have a wedding— highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how magical this place is. The views, the ambiance, the staff, the food - its truly all perfection. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and the staff worked with us to find a new date without additional charges to our package. We wanted a custom menu with food stations and the staff not only made that work, but they even let us come up with our own custom entrees that they prepares special for us. My family is Indian and a portion of our guests are Indian so the catering team made special Indian food for us and it was phenomenal. The bar package and desserts were fantastic. The staff here has a total "yes man" mentality and will do anything possible in their control to make your day perfect. They are so warm and kind. Everyone from the sales staff to the coordinator to the servers assigned to us for our meals were absolutely phenomenal. There is nothing this team cannot do! We can't wait to go back here for our anniversary!

This venue was incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and covid friendly. The ceremony seats were in groups of 2 and spaced 6 feet apart. We were able to watch them set it up from our room and the amount of time they took to walk between all the chairs to make sure they were exactly 6 feet was amazing. Lindsay our coordinator was outstanding. She was so on top of everything and helped us so much with all of our questions leading up to the wedding. On wedding day she kept everything organized and running smoothly. We were brought food from our cocktail hour because we were taking pictures and it was delicious. Tasted just as good as the trial! The staff at the reception was perfect as well. They were so friendly and really made sure my husband and me had everything we needed. They would come over very frequently to see if we needed drinks, food or anything else. Lindsay and the banquet manager were there as well and kept checking in with us. The venue spaced the tables 10 feet apart inside and gave us the largest dance floor. Everyone raved about the venue and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. This venue and the staff were perfect!

JW Marriott Marco Beach Island was a dream. Everything about my day was perfect. Even through the pandemic, JW Marriott stayed in constant contact with me and made sure everything about my day went great!

The venue itself was breathtaking. We had some hiccups with our event coordinators, but other then that the day was perfect, and the process went ok.

If you want the most elegant beach in the US---go here! The pictures came out so pretty! The tiki huts on the beach are gorgeous. This is truly the most beautiful spot to get married!

This place is not only absolutely beautiful, but the customer service is second to none! We had a beautiful beach ceremony in November, and had to move indoors due to rain. They completely transitioned the ballroom into something beyond anything I could ever dream of! Staff made sure we are, and got extra appetizers. The venue, the food, the service, the rooms...everything is absolutely dreamy and with every penny! Thank you JW for hosting my dream wedding!! I'm ready to do it alllll over again!!!

We picked the perfect resort for our wedding! We had a small beachside wedding, and everything was coordinated so beautifully! Carrie (my planner) and Anastaysia, the hotel coordinator did a wonderful job of making my welcome dinner and the wedding stress free and beautiful! We had a reception dinner at Ario, the food was incredible. They went out of their way to accommodate us and were on top of everything. Top notch service!! And the location is simply second to none. Beautiful beach and perfect venue. A word of note: this is not a place if you want a real neat budget. We went well over budget (which was worth it to us in the end), but the little costs and fees do add up. Once again, highly recommend, but make sure you budget yourself appropriately.

We had a beautiful rooftop wedding at the JW Marriott in Marco Island in May in the Presidential Suite. Both our ceremony and reception took place in the suite with 40 guests. It was intimate and private which was exactly what we were looking for. Though we worked with a few coordinators from the Marriott due to position changes and people leaving the company, the planning process was easy and the staff was responsive to email and phone calls while I planned my destination wedding. The staff was flexible that day as the weather was changing constantly. They set up two spaces for us so we could decide based on the weather but ultimately stuck to our original plan of being outside. The Marriott staff was very detailed oriented and set everything up how I wanted it. I did not have a traditional wedding planner, doing most of the planning myself, however, our Marriott coordinator agreed to assist with the day of coordination, which was above and beyond. Keep in mind, if you choose to have a wedding in one of the presidential suites, it is like checking into a normal hotel room and we were advised to reserve the room the night before so we could have access to the room for set-up all day the day of the wedding, rather than at the check-in time for the hotel. This greatly increased the cost of our venue space but was worth it to not have the stress of waiting for someone to check out the day of the wedding. Also, if you are planning a wedding during sea turtle nesting season, external lights had to be shut off at 9 pm and music had to be off at 10 pm. Just some things to keep in mind, as our wedding was during that time and 9 pm came very fast. That being said, the Marriott is a beautiful property with lovely staff and amazing food. Our bartender for that night was wonderful and our guests had an amazing experience.

I could not have asked for a more perfect venue for my wedding in April!!! The resort is gorgeous, the rooms are amazing, the food is wonderful and the staff (from bell-staff to event planning) is incredible! If you are thinking of visiting for a weekend or planning an event there, DO IT! Our event was made even more special because of our coordinator Frances Baumler. Frances is a true gem and made our wedding planning process fun and so, so special! I really cannot say enough great things about the JW Marriott on Marco Island!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the JW Marriott! It was an absolutely stunning location for my destination wedding. Frances was my event coordinator and was absolutely amazing! There’s not one thing I would change about my wedding! It was beyond all my expectations!

If I had to plan my wedding all over, I would pick the JW Marriott Marco Island Resort time and time again. I can't think of one thing that I would change. This hotel is AMAZING! We hosted three events with the hotel - Rehearsal Dinner BBQ on the Beach, Wedding and Post Wedding Brunch. Working with John Geiger was the best. He made everything so easy and carefree. He was beyond accommodating to all of my requests. and his response time was great for emails and phone calls. My mother and I visited the resort a few times to see the ballroom and walk the space and he always made himself available for us. We hired our own vendors from Miami and John worked with them seamlessly!!!!! Its as if they had all worked together many times in the past. The food was outstanding!!! My now-husband is a chef so the menu was of utmost importance. The Executive Chef of the Hotel helped us create an exceptional menu and our guests are still talking about it! The staff provided us with a personal server throughout the night who ensured we always had a drink in our hand and food to nibble on. The staff were so friendly and genuinely cared about all of the guests and wanted to be sure everyone was taken care of. I wish I could re-live the wedding weekend!!! We spent our family vacation here in November and it was AMAZING!!!! We have stayed before but the rest of our family were staying for the first time. They absolutely loved everything about it! THANK YOU so much for making our vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back :)

Absolute best venue to ever have your wedding at. We just had our wedding on n ovember 17th after having to postpone our sept 8th wedding due to Irma. They did everything in their power to ensure our happiness! Our wedding in november was nothing short of amazing! I would get married here over and over and over again if I could. We plan on going back every year from here on out!!!

I can’t say enough about the service and location of the JW Marriott, Marco Island. You won’t be disappointed in the venue. Everything took place outside, wedding, cocktail reception, dinner and dancing. Our guests raved about the food, which was outstanding, and the facilities. This was a destination wedding and John Geiger out event coordinator did an excellent job in all fa ets of planning and executing our weekend. You will not be disappointed!

We got married this July at the J.W. Marriott in Marco Island and all I can say is perfection! Our event coordinator Anastasiya helped us for a year - from the moment we signed our contract to our wedding day. Everything we needed, every question we had, she was right there to help us. The Marriott was very accommodating to our requests and went above and beyond to make us happy. Anastasiya was also there to help us rehearse the day before. Our ceremony was at the beach, our cocktail hour was at the terrace and the reception was inside in a ballroom. There were a few obstacles such as rain on the day off, delays in our timeline and photo locations temporarily not being accessible but Anastasiya found a solution for everything and made our dream wedding happen. Some of our guests said that the food was the best food they have had at a wedding. I had the pleasure to meet our cook Richard and I want to thank him so much. Everything from appetizers (coconut shrimp, beggars purse, watermelon with feta etc) to the salad and main course (short rib, chorizo stuffed chicken, potato crusted red snapper) was delicious. Throughout the whole night we never felt alone or worried for even a minute. John stayed until the end to make sure everything is in order. Our guests were impressed how impeccable everything was. Thank you so much. It was truly magical!

We recently had our December destination wedding at the Marco Island Marriott and it was perfect! I cant say enough great things about this resort. It has everything you and your guests would ever need. Alyssa was our coordinator and she always went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. I probably emailed her a million times to ask different questions or to make sure details were set and she always responded quickly and assured me not to worry! She was kind, patient and dedicated to her job. I am so happy she was our coordinator!

Our guests are still raving about how amazing our wedding weekend was. We had all of our events at the Marriott- the rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, wedding, wedding after party as well as a beach day the day after the wedding. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend this venue!

I can't say enough great things about this place! We got to work with John Geiger and he made sure everything ran as smoothly as humanly possible. Between him and my wedding planner I didn't have to worry about a thing. And OH MY GOSH the food!!! It was ALL good (ZERO exaggeration). Having our wedding at the Marco Island Marriott was the best decision we could have ever made. Everybody there made sure that our day was absolutely perfect. We could not have been more impressed with the food, service, and venue!! Our guests could not stop raving about the beauty of the resort. The Marco Island Marriott was simply "perfect". Our planner, Rachel, kept in regular contact to ensure details were planned in a timely manner. She was always enthusiastic and made us feel happy and comfortable. They accommodated several last minute requests without hesitation. And the only thing even more impressive than the complete professionalism of the staff, was the gorgeous setting/venue. We were treated so special on our joyous day!

We got Married on 5/18/2016 at Marriott in Marco Island. My experience working with Anastasiya from the beginning all the way up to after the wedding was more than I can ask for. Anastasiya was very pleasant to work with, very calm and very patient. She documented all the details and gave us our dream wedding. The Wedding day was perfect, while I was anxious, Anastasiya reassured that everything was going to be great and it was. She was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and provided detail answers to all my questions. If I could give more than 5 rating I would :). I think everyone should get married here haha! :) The Marriott was beautiful, lots of spots to take great pictures for a memorable day. I would highly recommend the Marriott for any event.

We recently had our wedding at the Marriott on April 8, 2016. I am so happy we decided to have a destination wedding. The day turned out perfect. Alyssa was such a big help through the whole planning process. She quickly responded to all my emails. She made sure everything was perfect and that we were happy the day of the wedding. Thank you! We also had string lights and tree uplighting for our outdoor reception and it was everything I wanted. Everyone keeps talking about how beautiful it was at the Marriott. It is a really nice wedding venue and I can not wait to see all the pictures!!!

We were married on 3/5/16 and planned our wedding with Alyssa from New York. We knew that we wanted a beach wedding and after searching the internet we came across pictures of weddings at Marco Island Marriott and read all he reviews online, (particularly on weddingwire.com). We knew right away that it was the place that we would marry. We had never been to Marco Island, and I was apprehensive about how the planning would go from long distance. I am excited to report that everything exceeded our expectation. Alyssa has to be one of the kindest and most helpful person I have ever worked with. She was always so reassuring, and kept everything and everyone on track and on schedule. Luckily the vendors that we selected had a solid history of working with the Marco Island Marriott, so that helped everything to run seamlessly on our wedding day.
What surprised me the most about the Marriott was the high quality of customer service that we, along with our guests experience. Everyone that we encountered were so nice and helpful.
All of our guests remarked on the great time that they had at our wedding. The exceptional food that was served. Marco Island Marriott has an extensive menu for weddings/events. I LOVE food, and I was so please at the taste and quality of food that was served at the wedding. Definitely surpasses the usual average food too often served at wedding. The staff were outbidding. very attentive to ours and our guest's needs. Special thanks to Jon and his crew that worked feverishly to make our reception great. The beauty of the hotel and grounds. The fantastic rooms (accommodation). The exceptional buffet at Maia.....everyone loved it.

We recently got married at the Marriott and our day was better than we could have ever expected! We planned the whole thing from Minnesota, where most of our guests were located too. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful the venue was, and how great the food was. Alyssa was there to help plan things for the last year, and I really don't think I could have done it without her. She made sure our day was just as how we imagined. We highly recommend this venue!

We actually changed our original wedding date to be able to get married at the Marriott! We had a lot of people traveling from New York and made sure to have real estate magazines in each room! Everyone is so accommodating and if Alyssa is assigned as your planner your wedding will be perfect!! I can't say enough good things about this hotel! Will be back for every anniversary:)

OMG, this is the most amazing place to have a wedding. To start with it's a beautiful location, the wedding can be right on the beach, the outdoor settings were amazing, but what stood out the most, was the AMAZING service from the Marriott staff. Our wedding coordinator made the day flow perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing and everything was set up just how I had wanted it. She even remembered that I had mentioned a reception item that I had forgotten to give her. I was blown away. She coordinated all of the vendors. It was really perfect. On top of that, the room was amazing, the food was incredible. We have a party of about 30, and I didn't hear one complaint from any of the guests for the time we were there. I would sign up for any event here, any day.

Amazing venue! Amazing staff! Flawless execution from beginning to end! I don't know what else to say. Our coordinator Nina was there for us throughout the entire event. She was wonderful! All the event/banquet staff were so pleasant and accomodating. The hotel staff were so great also. Really I have nothing bad to say. Have your event here for sure!

I spend over 100 nights at Marriotts across the country every year for work. Knowing the consistent service the Marriott brings it was an easy choice to select a Marriott property for our wedding. Despite crazy winds the day of our wedding, they made sure the day was seamless. I can't count the number of compliments I have received regarding the venue and food. There are not enough complimentary words or phrases that I can use to describe the professionalism, dedication and tireless efforts of the staff of the Marco Island Marriott. From our first contact with Jim Davidson to our last with the valets who helped us pack our cars, everything was perfect. Our event planner, Alyssa, not only helped to plan the wedding of my daughter and son-in-law's dreams, but did so with kindness, patience, compassion, dedication and professionalism. She attended to every detail from menu to set up to guest accommodations and far exceeded our expectations. She is truly an asset to the Marco Island Marriott. Alyssa and everyone on staff went above and beyond to create my daughter's fairytale wedding. The beach provided the setting for a sunset cocktail hour with delicious appetizers and the Tiki Terrace was transformed into a candlelit, romantic setting with exceptional food and attentive staff. We could not have asked for anything more...my daughter's wedding was truly perfection thanks to the Marco Island Marriott. The Marco Island Marriott was the perfect venue for my December wedding. Most of my wedding guests flew in from New York and were BLOWN AWAY by the property and venue. My reception was outside on the Tiki Terrace. The staff at the Marco Island Marriott is out of this world. They are so professional, caring and go above and beyond what is expected. The Marco Island Marriott exceeded by expectations and allowed my wedding day to be everything I could imagine and more!

This venue was amazing! The staff was incredible and everything turned out so beautiful. We had to move the reception inside due to chilly weather and the hotel swiftly got everything set up inside and changed the lighting to indoor. They made everything spectacular! We also had our rehersal dinner the night before on the beach (Thanksgiving Day) and they were fantastic with very little input from me. It turned out perfect!

The Marco Island Marriott was an amazing place to host my outdoor wedding---wait, I mean my indoor wedding. I am one of those people who received the "good luck" of the rain and had to move my ocean side wedding indoors. But that is why i wanted to write this review---anyone can do a good job when things go as planned, but how many places can make your wedding look beautiful with a few hours notice? The Marriott went out of their way to make my indoor wedding my dream wedding. And while I was beyond disappointed that I didn't have the setting I wanted (beach and the ocean), I can't say one bad thing about the way the Marriott pulled it all together for me. If you are getting married there, ask for Alyssa. She is top-notch and the most professional person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She makes you feel like your wedding is the most important thing in her life too! What an amazing asset the Marco Island Marriott has in her.

Phenomenal, Fabulous, Wonderful, Paradise!!! I can't think of enough words to describe our Wedding Ceremony location of this Marriott! The customer service was impeccable from the front door, to the restaurants, to the wedding event coordinator, to the spa! Every aspect of our Wedding was handled with great professionalism! The venue itself was beyond beautiful and little slice of heaven right in Florida!! I would suggest this venue and resort to anyone for any reason to stay and enjoy the best that the best has to offer!!

Not only was the Marriott absolutely beautiful, but the resort took care of everything for our wedding! I planned my Florida wedding from Texas and every step of the way, the Marriott was on top of everything! They made everything run seamlessly and we felt so well taken care of. Their tagline of "paradise found" was true from the very moment we walked into the resort.

If you want to have a stress free, breathtaking wedding..go to the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort. First off, they give you an amazing event planner to work with. They handle EVERYTHING that has to do with the venue. Secondly, the FOOD IS INCREDIBLE, and my wedding cake came out absolutely amazing. Third, they are incredibly accomodating, and made mine and my guests stay there wonderful. Lastly, on our wedding day they took such care of my husband and me. They made sure we ate our dinner first, they kept the champagne coming, they work closely with all the vendors and have great relationships with everyone in the area. Our honeymoon suite was so beautiful and our Sunday Brunch exceeded my expectations. We LOVE this venue and will be coming back for anniversary vacations for years to come. Don't be deterred by the price! They include so much! I only had to go outside the Marriott for my videographer, photographer, and florist...all the rest was at the Marriott which made planning and coordinating the event very stress free. I had my dream wedding and my dream husband and have GORGEOUS pictures to look fondly back on.

Mary and the Marriott and her team did such an amazing job on all of our hair and makeup. They came to our hotel and made sure everyone had enough time to get ready. They were a joy to work with! I trusted Mary completely and she was able to squeeze me for a consultation the day before since I live in NY. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure my vision was perfect!

We had my daughters wedding here on May 28, 2014. We worked with Oana for almost a year in bringing this together. Everything went off as promised. When Onan told me not to worry she was there to help us she truly meant that. The beach wedding was absolutely beautiful. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful and intimate the wedding was. Everything that was promised by the Marriott was delivered and they exceeded our expectations. The food was wonderful and hot! If you are looking for a venue for a beach wedding this is definitely the place. The people you deal with are wonderful and nothing is to much to ask. I loved that Oana stayed with us even though she received a promotion in the hotel ~ that meant so much to us.

The venue, food, service and overall experience was fabulous. I would highly recommend having your wedding here. Alyssa was our wedding coordinator and she was wonderful: helpful, responsive and very flexible to fit our needs. We are foodies so I was worried about wedding catering. This was a destination wedding, so we didn't get to try to food ahead of time. The food exceeded our expectations - we received so many compliments from the guests. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the steak option.

The Marco Island Marriott was an absolutely beautiful spot for our destination wedding which was held last week. The venue itself was everything we wanted and the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating to us.
Our guests raved about the beautiful scenery, the amazing food and the polite and attentive staff.
It was a relaxing environment and with the help of our wedding co-ordinator John, it was hard to be anything but relaxed at the Marriott, even minutes before the actual wedding.

This venue was absolutely gorgeous! Our wedding was perfect!! Every single person I worked with was amazing! Jim Davidson, Oana Stanoiu, Renee Grant, Susan (our waiter) were all so helpful in making our day flawless and stress free. They really know what they are doing! The beach ceremony at sunset was incredible! The Kurrants restaurant provided the most beautiful outdoor patio setting for our dinner/reception. The food was delicious! They also did our cake which turned out beautiful and tasted good too! I want to go back and do it again tomorrow! I highly recommend Marco Island Marriott Resort! Simply beautiful!!

The entire staff at the Marco Beach Marriott was absolutely fantastic! They were so professional and attentive to all of our needs. They went above and beyond all expectations! I have been to many resorts throughout Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean and would rate this property as a high 10! My husband and I can't wait to go back!

This venue was amazing for a destination wedding. The entire staff was always available and helpful for all of our needs. The beach was clean, the suites were beautiful, the people were freindly. Everything you would hope for taking a leap of faith in a venue to get married. Highly recommend.

We planned our wedding from Illinois and Alyssa was such a huge help in planning the event. The actual ceremony and reception went smoothly and everything was beautiful! Everyone at the Marriott was very friendly and great to work with.

The Marco Island Marriott was the absolute perfect place to hold our wedding. Waited 3 years to convince my in-laws that an out of town wedding was ok t boy was it worth the wait. Everyone had a great time! The food impressed all our guests and even my picky mother in-law. Pictures on the beach and throughout the resort are second to none. It will give you all you want for your wedding experience!

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing the staff at the Marco Island Marriott were and how they were able to pull of the most amazing wedding day for us! We had about 140 guests in town for our November 24th ceremony at the Marriott. We held our wedding ceremony on the beach and an outdoor reception and cocktail hour.
We started planning the wedding about 9 months in advance and we worked directly with Alyssa Durno. Alyssa was the most amazing person to work with from start to finish. She was very organized (as I am as well), professional, courteous and customer service focused. She was able to help me see the vision of our day from the beginning and then ended up exceeding our expectations!
We met with her personally a few weeks before the wedding to do our food tasting and final walk through of details. We were blown away by the food tasting. It was like we were celebrities!! Everything we tasted was amazing, it was hard to decide what to pick. When the chefs came in to introduce their dishes, we were then able to select with their assistance. After the tasting, we did a final walk through with Alyssa. Her suggestions and perspective were very helpful.
The wedding day arrives and as usual, Alyssa and her team is literally right on top of everything. My bridal party and guests could not stop complimenting the Marriott and the staff. Everyone was so nice and the grounds were impeccable! It was literally a dream come true. The food was amazing as well and of course, the outdoor venue was beautiful. Many people told us this was the best wedding they had ever attended and we could not have done it without Alyssa and the rest of the staff. Additionally, my bridal party and mothers, along with a few other guests got our hair and makeup done at the Salon on site. I worked directly with Mary Rando and I would highly recommend Mary and her team as well. They were attentive, flexible and on point with what we wanted for our services.

We had such a beautiful wedding reception at the marriott penthouse, our wedding cordinator Alyssa Durno was a great help and made everything we wanted possible and had great ideas to help with our planning process. I would recommend the Marriott on Marco Island to anyone that is looking to get married in this area.

The Marco Island Marriott is, to me, the most beautiful place ever! I grew up going to that beach so when it was time to get married, the Marriott on Marco was my first choice! We were lucky with the perfect weather, but more than anything, we were lucky with the fabulous service and amazing employees that helped us from start to finish. Mark Williams, especially, is now one of my favorite people ever now. He was above and beyond and truly amazing every step of the way. I know there are many weddings there all the time, but I really felt that my husband and I were his only focus. He was the best!! We are forever grateful for his impeccable service! He made our wedding day dreams come true. Also, did I mention the food?? It was FABULOUS!! Everyone was happy and we had several people comment that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. I highly recommend having a wedding at the Marco Island Marriott!!

Our coordinator John was a huge help in getting all of our visions how we wanted them.
We were blown away by the food that was provided and every guest made a point to tell us after how they had never seen any other wedding like it. Our chefs and banquet servers were all so helpful and really had charm talking to our guests.
The beach ceremony was exactly how I wanted it set up as well as the reception. Every detail that I had envisioned came to light that night and I am so thankful for that.
Also the grounds and rooms themselves were amazing! We loved being able to order food by the pool and then relax for the afternoon under the sun.

I looked for over six months to find the perfect venue and could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding location. The staff is so courteous and will do everything to make sure your day is perfect! My wedding coordinator, Hilary was beyond helpful and took care of all the important details and was there to help the entire wedding day!

There is not a more perfect place to hold destination wedding than the Marco Island Marriott! Our stay and wedding was perfect. The staff there is so friendly and they all go above and beyond. Hilary Andes was a terrific coordinator. Our friends and family had a blast there too. The beach, bars, restaurants, and pools were all great and so much fun for everyone. The rooms are supers nice too. We plan to come back every year for our anniversary!

I literally booked this place before I had ever even gone there. I booked in April and did not fly down from NY until October to check it out. I was solely relying on reviews and pictures. What I will say is that although all of the reviews and pictures were all excellent, they do not do this place justice. This place makes you feel like you are on a tropical island. It is absolutely breath taking. The ceremony was on the beach and was perfect. The reception was in the ballroom and was absolutely amazing..The food was to die for! I would not change anything if I could do it again. I plan on coming back here for my anniversary and for vow renewals in the future. The staff are extremely nice and the event coordinators Mark and Evylan are awesome! I could not ask for anything more. If you want a beach wedding, look no more!!!

This venue was the absolute perfect place for my wedding! The resort is gorgeous and Mark, the wedding coordinator, goes above and beyond to ensure your day is perfect!! Although it is on the pricier side, it is definitely worth it!!

This is probably one of the nicest resorts in Florida (why we chose it), and it is also large. The staff, however, makes you feel welcome and go above and beyond. Our wedding was beautiful--thanks mostly to our Marriott coordinator, Mark Williams. He recommended fabulous vendors and gave us the individual attention we needed.

Let me start off by saying that I dreamed of getting married at the Marriott in Marco Island since my family vacationed there when I was a little girl. I was never the bride who knew anything about my future wedding BUT I did know where I wanted it. If you could've taken my dream wedding plucked straight from my brain and turned it into reality you'd get the wedding I just had on Feb 1. Alyssa Durno is such a fabulous coordinator. She makes you feel like you're not a crazy bridezilla and if she doesn't have an answer for something she gets it ASAP. We had a little bit of trouble planning our welcome reception but the food and beverage director Youssef took care of everything and it ended up being absolutely delicious and relaxing and ideal (We had it at Pazzi's which is the on-property Italian restaurant.. super!). It was the perfect venue for the perfect wedding and I cannot thank the team at the Marriott enough. All my guests who stayed the weekend plan to return and they could not say enough about the wonderful accommodations, restaurants and staff. This place truly is paradise!!!!!!! P.s. I got married on Quinn's Beach and had my reception on the Sunset Terrace North. We stayed in one of the lanai suites and it was to DIE for. If any brides need recommendations on these parts of the property, feel free to message me.

Once we got past the initial booking phase, we could not say enough positive things about our experience with the Marco Island Marriott. Mark Williams is an amazing wedding planner and made our wedding perfect. Anything that could have gone wrong, he fixed seemingly effortlessly. His passion truly makes him amazing at what he does. The Marriott property is stunning and the food is incredible. I could not imagine a more beautiful tasting. The staff at the Marriott so helpful, even the bellman Vince helped me to track down misplaced bridesmaids gifts the day before the wedding (you can imagine my angst). The venue, food, and staff at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort are all top notch, but Mark really made our day and wedding planning experience perfect.

The Marco Island Marriott is absolutely gorgeous!!! I couldn't have asked for a better location. Our planner, Mark Williams was AMAZING! I had a rough start to my planning with the Marriott, but once I was paired up with Mark, everything was great! We planned most of our wedding from Michigan, but made one trip out in June to meet with Mark and do our tasting. Mark was the most accommodating person! He made sure everything was perfect-despite the winds of Hurricane Sandy. We were able to keep our ceremony on the beach, but ended up having to move the reception inside due to winds and the possibility of rain. He made the inside arrangements beautiful - no one ever knew that wasn't the original plan! I am so happy with everything that Mark did to make our day perfect. Nothing ever goes 100% as planned, but Mark made it so it didn't matter and was still perfect. I can't wait to go back on our first anniversary!

The Marco Island Marriott was a perfect venue for our destination wedding. Our wedding cordinator Mark Williams was the most amazing person to work with. I honestly wish I would have hired him as my wedding planner instead of wasting money like I did hiring an outside planner. He truly cares about each and every one of his coulples and tries his best to make their day perfect. He has a ton of experience in the wedding and event planning industry and truly knows his stuff!

We had a wonderful experience at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was nice because we also had the rehearsal dinner there as well as a morning after brunch. The staff there was very friendly. All of our guest really enjoyed the time there and many of them are already talking about making future trips back to Marco Island and staying at the Marriott again.

I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding venue than the Marriott on Marco Island. My event planner was Mark Williams, and basically, the man is a saint. The entire staff went out of their way for us, but Mark really made us feel special and taken care of the entire weekend. He was responsive to all of my emailed questions almost immediately. When there was a difficult weather call to make he worked with my fiancé and they managed to get the entire event outdoors even when it rained an hour and half before the ceremony. Our suite was beautiful. The entire grounds are beautiful. I can't tell you how many of my 75 guests raved about the resort and the food. People are still commenting on how beautiful everything was almost 2 weeks later. The Marco Marriott is not cheap, but the value for the excellent service, beautiful venue and delicious food is certainly there. I recommend the Marriott on Marco Island wholeheartedly!

We had the most incredible destination wedding at the Marco Island Marriott. Everything at the Marriott was amazing...the property is gorgeous, the employees were as so friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. Mark Williams went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. He was incredible during the planning process, from start to finish. Even though we knew he had so many upcoming weddings, we always felt like we were his first priority. He made sure our food was just how we wanted it, worked with the pastry chef to decorate our cake just as we asked and even came up with a fun way to number our tables. He knew how important it was to us to get married on the beach, so when it started raining that afternoon he kept us updated on what the radar was saying and timed it perfectly for us to get out and have an incredible ceremony. We just had our wedding at the Marco Island Marriott and it was incredible. Mark Williams, our coordinator, was amazing. Every time we talked, emailed or met, I felt like I was the only bride he had! We had a beach BBQ the evening before for everything and it went perfectly. The wedding day, he took care of every detail, issue, or problem so I did not have to worry. Our reception was beautiful and the food was spectacular.

Mark Williams is absolutely a wedding planners dream come true! He is fun, helpful, accommodating, flexible, inventive, prompt, communicates extremely well....he totally made the wedding planning over a 5 month period seamless! Every communication was so quickly responded to and requests accommodated that we really felt no stress whatsoever! The weather decided not to cooperate with our original plans and at 2:00, for a 5:30 wedding, he made the smooth transition to ceremony on the beach and the cocktails, reception and dance indoors in just 2 hours. Every table and decoration and centerpiece was perfect and looked like it had been planned for indoors the entire time! He really made all the wedding dreams come true and we will forever be grateful to Mark. We would heartily recommend him and the Marriott to any one dreaming of a destination wedding!

The Marriott did and amazing job with my ceremony and reception. We also decided to have a beach day, brunch, and sunset cocktail party for our guests during the wedding weekend. Everything went so well, despite the heavy rain on the wedding day. I worked with Theresa at the Marriott and she was fantastic. She made sure I worried as little as possible. The staff was very professional and accommodating. My new hubby and I plan to return to the Marriott in the future to celebrate our anniversary :-)

The Marco Island Marriott helped us to have our dream wedding. Everything was so beautiful and they were great to work with. We wanted to have our rehearsal dinner on the beach, but it was very hot and humid that day. The Marriott suggested we move it inside to a ballroom. This stressed us out and made us nervous about changing it at the last minute. Looking back, we couldn't be happier we made the change. The dinner was beautiful and all our guests were much more comfortable than they would have been outside. They did such a good job putting it all together in such a short period of time. Our wedding reception the next day was perfect. It was about as stress free of a wedding day as we could have pictured having.

We just got married at the Marriott and it really was the BEST day of our lives and everything we dreamed of. This was largely due to Theresa Strong our wedding planner and the rest of her team at the Marriott. We can not thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special, nothing was a problem for them and they did everything with a smile on their face and in such a pleasant nature. We had our ceremony on the beach, cocktails on the sunset terrace and a formal sit down dinner with dancing and a band inside the ballroom. My sister is an interior designer for Colourtime Ltd and she did all the decorating and made it look so beautiful, we renting chairs through Donna at Niche Event (who is fantastic) and bought our own crystal candelabras which are now available to rent through the Marriott.

We followed the night with a brunch the next day on the Sunset Terrace which I would recommend to anyone that had out of town guests as this was a really nice way of seeing them before they left the next day and to say thank you for coming.The whole experience with Theresa and the Marriott was AMAZING from start to finish. The service, hospitality, food, organization, flexibility and professionalism not to mention their happy and willing nature made our day everything we had dreamed it would be and more. I wish i could do it all again we loved it so much (obviously with the same groom) as I was sad it ended. This is the ONLY place to get married in Marco or Naples, don't even bother to look anywhere else, they know how to deliver 5 star quality and a little taste of paradise.

Mark Williams, our planner was a godsend! I don't think anybody could have been more helpful and sincere. He consistently went above and beyond what either of us could have expected in making sure every last detail was taken care of exactly the way we wanted it. He also made very helpful suggestions when we had to make decisions we had no knowledge of or a strong preference. They always made time for us and since they handle so many weddings, they really know what questions needed to be answered and the options we had which was incredibly helpful. We had a beautiful wedding on the beach followed by a cocktail hour for guests after we took pictures, then the reception inside. Mark and the Marriott took care of all of the cocktails, catering, wedding/grooms cakes, as well as setting up the tables and speakers. Mark was also extremely helpful in giving us a staging area for our centerpieces, flowers, etc a couple of days before the ceremony. It may be a little pricy but not absurd and they more than make up for it as Mark was our de-facto wedding planner. Make sure to ask for Mark as he really always wanted what was best for us even if it wasn't necessarily best for the Marriott.

Mark Williams was my event planner at the Marco Island Marriott and looking back, I could have married him! Although in the middle of my wedding planning, the hotel had to switch planners, the transition to Mark was smooth and easy. He was very quick to respond to my phone calls and emails, and the moment I got to the hotel I felt like he was there for me. He made my wedding ceremony and reception beautiful and I didn't have to worry about a thing!
The Marriott hotel is absolutely stunning! Every one of my guests that stayed there were very happy. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I just could not have asked for a more picturesque wedding!

The Marco Island Marriott was amazing! The entire staff was wonderful to work with, especially Kristin who does the wedding planning/coordinating. The setting there is beautiful and the location is right on the water with beautiful beaches. They were willing to work with us on pricing for the reception and rooms. Great experience and would highly recommend a destination wedding there!

Incredible experience! Jacey Wood and her team at the Marriott created a day for us that was better than we imagined. The banquet captain was extremely detailed and organized. They made sure we were happy and comfortable the entire reception. The atmosphere of the resort itself and the tropical beach made a beautiful setting for our wedding. The food was some of the best we've ever had and the accommodations were excellent as well. The pastry chef created our cake from a photo that I gave him and it turned out gorgeous and tasted amazing. The menus that they have to choose from are fun and unique, so you can really customize them to your style. Before and after the wedding they surprised us with special touches like monogrammed beach towels and champagne. What we appreciated the most was the ability to enjoy every moment of our wedding. Having a large destination wedding can be stressful, but we were able to have fun and relax with our friends and family instead of worrying about every detail because we knew that Jacey had it covered. It was a great experience and we plan on visiting every year for our anniversary! Thank you to everyone at the Marriott who worked so hard to make our wedding day so special!

We contracted with the JW Marriott Marco Island for our wedding on 5/11/18. From the negotiating of the contract to the event date, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful. Our event sales representative was James Davison. James was very helpful in answering our initial questions and tailoring our contract to our needs. Our event coordinator was Frances Baumler. We cannot say enough good things about Frances. She was so helpful from the beginning in planning our wedding. She was always responsive in answering our many emails and questions. We were also very impressed with Frances' organization. She had all of our wedding details so organized that no doubt contributed to our special day going off without a hitch. We were so appreciative how Frances also assisted in setting up a number of things on our wedding day. We can say with confidence that the JW Marriott staff truly made our special day extra special.

One of the things we appreciated the most was, even though the resort is so large and has multiple events in a day, the staff makes you feel as though your event is as special as it should be and we did not get the sense that other events were taking place at the resort.

Marco Island Marriott is the perfect destination wedding location! Our guest loved staying at the hotel! The staff here is the best at customer service and hospitality. Their event team is really great to work with. They don't just provide the venue but your own personal one on one coordinator. The great thing about this venue is it provides almost any style you are looking for-beach wedding, garden wedding (which I had at the golf course), ballrooms. It is a really beautiful place to have your wedding and I would recommend it to anyone. Also the price is very affordable!

They did try really hard to make everything perfect. I was just hard getting a response back and some of the things we requested we did not get. It was beautiful venue.

My wedding here was perfect!! Every aspect was amazing. The service at this resort was beyond outstanding. We had our ceremony on the beach and reception at Kurrents restaurant. The food was amazing. They were very accommodating with our requests and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our wedding coordinator was Alyssa and she was perfect!

Before we were engaged, we knew we wanted to have a destination wedding & super tropical vibe. From the beach ceremony under the chickee hut, to the first look in front of the hotel by the waterfall, to the reception on tiki terrace under the palm trees, it was everything we dreamed it could be & more. On our wedding day all of the banquet staff were amazing. They treated us like royalty. We were so appreciative at how everyone was taken care of all night & our guests did not stop commenting at how delicious the food was & how this was the best wedding they had ever been to. With that being said, there were definitely some disappointments. Mainly it came down to communication & attention to details or lack there of, from our coordinator John Geiger. If I had not been super organized & on top of things, many details would have been overlooked. Lots of promises were made & not followed through with. John was responsive & accommodating to our requests, especially during our tasting & when working with us on the menu, but I had to remind him of details that had already been decided & had to reach out to him to confirm everything a few weeks before our wedding. No notes were in our guests reservations for delivery of welcome bags or that we were the bride and groom as promised. High-top chairs weren't delivered to our bridal suite the day of for hair & make-up and pizzas were delivered 2 hours early to our tiki hut for our welcome reception, in addition to a problem with the amount of chairs we were allowed, that was never communicated to us prior. There was also a major issue at our reception with security. We had multiple wedding crashers try to get drinks from our open bar and hotel guests empty our bathroom baskets, which is completely unacceptable! Overall, if I could do it again I would still pick the JW for all of the reasons that made our dream wedding a reality. We had an amazing day & thankfully hired a spectacular vendor team that delivered on their promises!

The Marco Island Marriott were wonderful to work with. Mark, our event planner was very organized and lead us through every detail of the wedding. Everything was as he said. The day of the wedding he took care of all the last minute details and coordinated all the elements of the day. The wedding suite was wonderful, the beach setting was perfect and the food at the reception was deliscous. We were very pleased with the service and the event.

We got married on Saturday, 09/24/11. Our guests began to arrive from out of town the Thursday before and we stayed until Sunday (some until Monday). It was the most beautiful site to celebrate our wedding weekend together with our family and friends.
On the day of our wedding, everything went very smoothly and our wedding planner (Mark) took care of everything. We were able to just sit back, relax in the pool and have fun with our guests until the ceremony started at sunset on the beach.
It is a pricey site for a ceremony and reception, but definitely worth every penny! Not just our wedding day, but the whole weekend was truly unforgettable!!

Overall we had a wonderful experience at this venue - we had to have a morning wedding a small 3 hour recepton but all in all I think it was perfect for us and our Destination Wedding. The grounds themselves are absolutely amazing & beautiful, I fell in love the instant I saw them. My bridesmaids & I stayed in a Lania Suite the night before the wedding (Which was comped & gorgeous, very room) but there was some confusion the next morning with us checking out. Our site coordinator was really friendly & helpful - but wasnt the best on communication. My wedding planner had to email her numerous times to get responses, she didnt communicate with the hotel staff prior to the wedding, so there were some hiccups along the way. Now that its over - we have already started planning our anniversary trip here. Thank you so much for having such a great property!
