  Highly recommend

  Justin was our lead wedding photographer contracted by a 3rd party vendor. He was incredibly flexible, kind and funny on our wedding day. Many of our wedding party and family were really impressed with his ability to run such a smooth photo process. The most hectic parts of the day were taking group photos around Chicago before our ceremony and then church photos after, and both felt really easy and fun with Justin in charge. He was calm and flexible the entire day. Not only was he great to have worked with on the wedding day, but the photos themselves turned out beautifully. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with him.

  Wedding photographer

  Justin was the best photographer for our wedding that we could have ever dreamed of. He made us feel so comfortable while taking our pictures. He captured our wedding day perfectly. The pictures turned out gorgeous!!

  Wonderful Wedding Photographer

  Justin was a great photographer start to finish. We talked over video call before the wedding to plan out what we wanted, and he helped us figure out the timing of everything. He knew just what to say to get us to pose in just the right positions and to make us laugh as well. We had such a fun time and the pictures are gorgeous!

  Excellent work and photos!

  You have found your photographer! Justin is amazing to work with. It felt like we were talking to an old friend. He got to know us to figure out our style and what we are looking for in a finished product. He worked with us on creating a package that worked for us and our wedding budget. He really tried to figure out who we are as a couple. I highly suggest doing the engagement shoot (we waited so long to do it but it was worth it) to feel comfortable working together on your big day. I received nothing but glowing feedback from our wedding party and guests. He had a great second shooter and helped keep us on our timeline. We are thrilled with the final photos and love the online album that made it easy to share with family. You won't be disappointed to choose Justin to capture your joy!

  Made our 1st look special

  Justin was wonderful and professional from start to finish. We had a very specific vision for our first look and he did not hesitate to turn it into reality for us. This was complicated and involved catching trains and leaving cars in different places and Justin rolled with it and was excited to make it all work. He kept us calm! We felt very comfortable with Justin and trusted him to get the very best poses and shots and we were very happy with his photos. We honestly had no idea what we were doing and he was so patient with us, 10/10 would recommend!!!

  Justin did an amazing job! He was flexible with random changes throughout the day and never let us down. He did an amazing job getting all the necessary wedding photos while also having fun with the wedding party and letting us mess around. 10/10

  Justin Vaughn was the absolute best!

  Justin was our absolute highlight of the night! From the minute we had our first video chat, he exhibited such a wonderful and sincere form of professionalism. He immediately meshed with our vibes. Justin actively listened to our wants and our needs. The day of went smooth thanks to Justin! He got along with all of the guests and captured the absolute best moments of our special day.   Takes time to get to know his Clients!

  Justin was an amazing photographer! He was very professional and organized. We had multiple meetings to talk about what our wants and vision were for our wedding. I did not want the traditional getting ready pictures but wanted to capture the day and the happiness of our family! Justin did just that we got all of the emotions in our pictures and will treasure them forever!

  Great photographer

  Justin was an amazing photographer. He did not only shoot our wedding but our engagement shoot as well. His caring and fun nature really made our time with him memorable. He took the time to understand our wants and needs and delivered on some AMAZING PHOTOS!! We cannot thank Justin enough for his hard work and attention to detail on our big day.   Essential piece of the entire wedding process

  We just had our wedding this past Friday, 8/21/20. Covid-19 created a lot of uncertainty on how things would turn out. But, there were 2 things that were certain. We were getting married and Justin was going to be there to capture it. Whether it was at the original venue, a boat, or in a tiny backyard. Justin's enthusiasm is so genuine and infectious. I had a ball with him around just waiting to take photos. Then when we started the joy never stopped. It never felt like we were completing a task, just enjoying life. We cannot wait to see the finished product, because Justin is so meticulous in his work and a professional of the highest order. For future photo opportunities and anytime someone asks for a recommendation it will be JVaughn Photography without hesitation!

  Simply put: the best

  When we hired JVaughn Photography we knew we were getting an amazing photographer but we had no idea we would be getting such an amazing person and friend out of it too! Justin is the absolute sweetest person we have had the honor of meeting and he has such a great eye to make our vision come to life! He made sure to have a meeting with us to get to know us and understand the vibe we wanted for our photos and he kept constant communication throughout the entire process to make sure all the bases were covered and he had a clear understanding of the timeframe and game plan. He was the one vendor we NEVER had to worry about. After he gave us our engagement photos, everyone knew he was the perfect photographer for us. Once the wedding day came, the entire bridal party and guests could not stop raving about how much they loved him! He gives clear direction on how to pose, what to do with your hands, how to fix your face, and knows how to use lighting. One of our biggest concerns when finding a photographer is having someone know how to use lighting because more often than not either I get lost in the light or my fiancé gets lost since our complexions are so far from each other. Thankfully Justin knew exactly how to make it all work out! He also stuck to the game plan and made sure none of those important shots are missed but he was also flexible enough to allow us to add in and change some of that game plan. I can honestly sit here and say that thanks to JVaughn Photography, our big day was absolutely perfect (even during covid). We already told him to get ready for our maternity photos, gender reveal, baby shower, and family portraits. I will forever recommend him to EVERYONE.
