My husband and I agree - Justin was the best choice of our wedding!
On our wedding day, Justin was more than just a photographer. He was a calming presence, helping to fix (multiple!) broken dresses, and pinning on flowers when no one could figure them out, and so much more! He went above and beyond, and not just with how amazing our photos are. He also got our photos back in record time!!
He shot everywhere from within a hotel, church, to our reception - and every photo is as beautiful. More importantly - Justin has the unique ability to capture the feeling of a moment with his photos. He did exactly what we wanted which was to capture amazing photos of our day - without us feeling like we are spending our day on photos or posing.
We are so lucky to get the relive our day and engagement photoshoot through his photos!

Justin is a wonder. We had the most amazing experience with him for our wedding in May 2026, and engagement photos in October 2025. He made us feel so comfortable and the photos (from both sessions) are absolutely stunning. He was so efficient getting through formal wedding portraits, and so helpful at random parts of the day (he helped bustle my dress!!), and knew exactly which places and lighting and times of day would make for the most magical photos. On top of how thrilled we were with him, we've had a few wedding guests call out how much they loved him too!Justin Kunimoto Photography's reply:

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Justin!!!
Justin was both our engagement photographer and our wedding photographer, and from the very beginning, he was everything we could have hoped for and more. He is unbelievably talented, but just as importantly, he is one of the most positive, joyful, and genuinely wonderful people you could ever have around you on your wedding day.
Justin is an absolute ray of sunshine!!! Wedding days can be busy, emotional, and a little chaotic, and having someone with Justin’s energy by your side makes all the difference. He brings so much warmth, calm, humor, and happiness into every room he walks into. He somehow makes everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited to be photographed.
One of the things we loved most about Justin is how incredible he is with guests. It is so important to have a photographer who interacts with people in a positive and fun way, and Justin does that perfectly! So many of our family and friends came up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how wonderful he was, how much they loved him, and how much fun they had being photographed by him. He has the best quips, the best energy, and the most joyful presence!!!
And of course, the photos are absolutely stunning. Justin captured our engagement and wedding day so beautifully — the big moments, the little moments, the candid laughs, the happy tears, and all the details we never want to forget. Looking through our gallery felt like getting to relive the entire day all over again.
By the end of everything, Justin was not just our photographer — he truly became our friend. We feel so lucky that he was part of such an important season of our lives, and we are beyond grateful for the memories he captured for us.

Justin will provide you with magical photos (in abundance) beyond your wildest dreams and quite likely will be come your new best friend. Justin captured our engagement shoot in 2025 and wedding in 2026 and we couldn’t be happier. He will fix your hair, tell you exactly how to stand and where to put your hands, and will probably be simultaneously cracking a joke! Amazing Photographer to work with!
Justin was amazing to work with and my wife and I had a great time at our wedding with him as our photographer. He went above and beyond what we requested of him and always made it easy for us to pose and take pictures throughout our wedding while getting a few laughs out of us and our guests as well. Choosing Justin as our wedding photographer was truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day. He arrived early and immediately put us at ease with his easygoing and friendly attitude.
Justin was incredibly efficient throughout the event—he captured all of the moments we requested plus so many more we hadn’t even thought of. Not only did he make sure to photograph us as a couple, but he also paid close attention to our guests, ensuring everyone was included in the memories. The sheer number of photos and the variety of angles he provided honestly made it seem like there were two photographers working instead of just one.
We were blown away by how quickly Justin delivered our photos. Within just four days of our wedding, he sent us a stunning first look gallery of 300 photos.
Justin was by far the best vendor we worked with—extremely responsive and attentive to detail. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work and the beautiful photographs we’ll cherish forever. I am not exaggerating when I say that working with Justin was one of the highlights of our wedding. From our initial meeting to sending our final photos (incredibly fast!), working with Justin truly felt like we were working with a friend. We had never taken professional photos together and didn't know what to expect, but he made us feel informed, comfortable, and excited to try something new. Justin also has an innate ability to make taking photos fun. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed having him at our wedding. And the photos speak for themselves; they are simply stunning. Every time we look at them, we're able to not only remember how much fun we had at our wedding, but actually feel the joy from that day once more. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Justin for our elopement photos! From start to finish, he was incredibly personable, easygoing, and fun to be around—exactly the kind of energy you want when you're very camera shy. He instantly made us feel comfortable and this really shined through in the photos.
We really appreciated his flexibility as well. The location we had originally wanted was no longer accepting permits and Justin helped us brainstorm some alternative location ideas. Then it was expected to thunderstorm on our day and he was able to work with us on a different day. Our session ended up being on the most humid, sweltering day but Justin still kept our spirits up the whole time and we had so much fun.
The photos themselves are stunning! He has a great artistic eye and was creative in his composition. Justin captured not just how everything looked, but how it felt, which is exactly what we hoped for. We can’t recommend him enough!Justin Kunimoto Photography's reply:

Justin is beyond amazing. He is a calming, fun, and professional presence all in one. Even outside of photography, he helps out wherever is needed. He literally fanned me while I slogged up stairs in my wedding heels and dress in 90 degree heat and humidity to get to our ceremony so that I didn't melt. He is also so on top of all of the details and the timeline. He makes everyone feel comfortable. To top it all off, he has an amazing eye for capturing beautiful moments and places. Justin was amazing to work with from beginning to end. He was responsive to our emails and was quick to set up a virtual meeting so that we could both meet and get to know each other. We could tell he understood our vision from the get go.
During our micro wedding photoshoot, he arrived early and did a full scan of the location to make sure we got the most optimal lighting and angle. This was the first time my husband and I ever took photos together so Justin's jokes and guidance really helped us. He made us feel so comfortable during the photoshoot which showed in the final results; we have so many candid photos that we love!

Justin was an amazing photographer for our elopement (just the 2 of us)! We zoom chatted with him before booking him, and we loved his vibe immediately and knew we would be comfortable in his presence to fully express all of the romantic, intimate, and silly parts of our relationship. He did a fantastic job with the details, including flagging 5 days in advance that our elopement date would be rained out, so that we were able to immediately reschedule for 2 days later. He expertly laid out the train of my dress, helped me fix my hair, etc. and also touched up the photos afterwards to fix little things. He did a great job guiding us with suggested poses while also capturing our spontaneous candid moments. It was a very fun and relaxing photography session , and the photos turned out amazing -- perfect lighting, composition, etc. 10/10 would recommend him to all couples!Justin Kunimoto Photography's reply:

Justin is absolutely AMAZING at what he does. My fiancé and I can’t recommend him enough! His communication and planning is 10/10. We let him know the locations we wanted to shoot at and met him day of the shoot - he jumped right into guiding us through the session (we had no idea what we were doing, but Justin made us feel so comfortable). We laughed through the entire shoot! Justin is very personable and friendly.
Justin sent previews of some photos the SAME day we did the shoot. We were in love with the previews! Shortly after, we got our full portfolio - to say we are obsessed is an understatement. All of the photos are beautiful, and Justin perfectly captured us. 100/10 Would Book Again
Justin captured my husband and I's special day so beautifully. He made taking the photos so much fun, so we were super comfortable with him and that showed through the photographs. We had a very specific aesthetic we were aiming for and he absolutely nailed it. Justin is also so professional, he sent us a sneak peek of our photos ONE day after our event, and sent us the full shots less than a week after!!!

Our wedding photos are incredible - I am obsessed, I can't stop looking at them (although a little sad too that it is over...but so happy we have so many amazing memories captured). If you are looking for a top tier photographer for you special day, look no further!!! Justin's level of talent is simply unmatched and he's the guy you need.
Where should we even begin?! He really is a hero when it comes to all of the vendors you deal with during the process. Their contribution to making your wedding successful is dependent on whether they decide to go above and beyond, and we can confidently say that's exactly what he did. We were hoping that the uniqueness of his initial work that we came across would also shine through on our day and he DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!
From the first moment we met with Justin, to him being the last vendor to stick around to help us clean up after the reception, he has been such a joy to be around and work with. Justin was all for meeting us at the venue for a walk-through and afterwards he stuck around for a glass of wine to chat and get to know us a little more. We greatly appreciated him getting a feel for who we are as individuals, as well as a couple. He has such a lovable personality and he really makes an effort to depict that same love through his photos. He has great attention to detail and is great with doing both candid and posed photos. His level of professionalism, adaptability, and organization of his work is second to none!
Even though the weather was not on our side for our ceremony, he was still able to help us capture the amazing scenery and ambiance that we fell in love with at our venue. He took plenty of candid photos at the reception and it's like you can actually feel the energy through the pictures! He was moving all around the room with so much passion that you almost forgot that he was taking pics of everything going on. ALSO, if you ever get a chance to watch him break it down on the dance floor you'll realize... JUSTIN CAN DANCE!!! 10 out of 10 for his dance moves for sure.
If we could leave a rating higher than five stars we would most definitely give him the highest praise... and then double it. The preview shots were high quality and wholesome and we will be giving him a shoutout to everyone we know! We hope to work with him again in the future! I cannot sing his praises enough. We decided to go with Justin as our photographer because of a few main things: his reviews were awesome; his portfolio shows his strong, artistic eye for the big dramatic shots; and he also captures the smaller in-between moments that are often missed in the excitement/chaos of the big day! His communication is next level - whether via phone, email or in-person on the day of. He has such a fun and warm demeanor. He gets you hyped during the shots, and can also rally & direct family members during the chaos of family portraits 😂 I am so happy we hired Justin, he was worth every penny and more. I first saw Justin's work when someone I knew posted their engagement/wedding photos on Instagram, and I was immediately drawn by how beautiful each photo was, his mastery of working with light, and how you could literally feel emotion emanating from the images. This was almost 3 years before I had to look for a wedding photographer, and when I was starting my search, I knew that I had to reach out to him to see if he could work with us for our wedding. By the time we had our engagement photo shoot with him, it was so clear that he was an incredible artist. He knew exactly how to give us direction to make every photo special, and he was also so much fun to work with and to get to know. He was such a great presence to have on our wedding day, made everyone feel so comfortable, and documented the day perfectly. When we looked through our final photos, it felt like we were reliving the entire day and then some, since he captured so many details that we did not get to appreciate among the craziness of the day. I hated wedding planning. It gave me anxiety and acid reflux. But choosing Justin as our photographer was the best decision we made for our wedding. Besides getting married to the love of my life (I love you, Dan), choosing to work with Justin was the best decision I made.
I read on a post somewhere, a long time ago, that choosing the right photographer was one of the most crucial decisions of wedding planning. Memories are wonderful, but unfortunately, they’re fleeting. Photographs are forever. First, we need to talk about the photos. He DELIVERED. He surprised us with an incredible selection of previews within hours of our engagement photoshoot (Does this man ever sleep?) and within a few days of our wedding day. I swear I didn’t even see him at all during our ceremony, but somehow he ended up delivering so many incredible photos from incredible angles. My husband and I have asked each other “how did he even get that shot?” many times while looking through the pictures. He captured our day in an even more beautiful light than I remember it. My family has always hated photos of themselves, but when Justin’s photos came in… I have never seen everyone upload so many pictures so quickly onto their social media. I think my dad may have changed his profile picture 3 times while clicking through the wedding album.
Now we need to talk about Justin as a person. Professionally, he is so incredibly detail oriented, but also very go with the flow, which is so very important. He showed up to our getting ready spaces to “feel out the vibes” and help out with anything he could. For some reason, our wedding and Harry Potter Day coincided, and Potterheads kept trying to crash our wedding… Not on Justin’s watch. He very graciously shooed them all away. Not a wizard nor witch in sight. And at the end of the evening, Justin helped pack up all of the decorations, and made sure that everyone was safely on their way home.
I also feel like I need to review Justin as a friend. He’s a genuinely kind and funny person. 12/10 friend. Responds to all of the dumb gifs, memes, and videos I DM him. He would be a 13/10 friend, but I took off a point because he couldn’t simultaneously be our wedding guest and our wedding photographer.

I feel so blessed to have met Justin! My husband and I had a court wedding but wanted to elope to Grand Teton with a group of friends for official photos. Luckily, we found Justin and we could not have asked for anyone else to join our four-day trip to Grand Teton!
Justin was efficient with his photo editing, purposeful with a vision, and flexible in joining our silly and easy-going group of friends. He also went above and beyond his role as a photographer. The day before we started taking photos, my handheld steamer just couldn’t remove the wrinkles in my wedding dress. Justin literally single-handedly saved my wedding dress with his steam ironing skills! And I don’t even know what to say about his sheer sense of adventure. Justin produced many specular shots utilizing the full spectrum of the day and even went with us on an 8-mile hike. After this, we hilariously ended the trip with a slumber party doing skin care and Korean face masks and playing Code Names. Where do I start? As a photographer, Justin is so talented at noticing beautiful details and moments during your wedding day when you’re busy with other stuff. He takes plenty of pictures so the gallery unfolds like a story- when you look back it’s touching to see those details! He is super efficient and thorough. His photos are beautiful- I absolutely love his ability to capture light and the natural state of things. As a person Justin is generous, kind, and thoughtful. He went out of his way to help us set up, carpool, pitch in for groceries, etc. all things he was not expected to do but did anyway because he has such a kind heart. All of my family & friends (and dog too😂) loved him. Justin is efficient, honest, transparent, and organized. From the get go you know he pays special attention to every one of his clients, their personalities, their family dynamics, and what matters to them. He takes the time to read and ask your opinion. Where to begin with Justin...he's just the best!! My husband, family, wedding party, and guests have nothing but good things to say about him. I don't think words will ever be enough to say just how much we love Justin and are grateful that he was there with us on our wedding day. Not only is Justin a uniquely gifted photographer, he is kind and genuine person who seeks connection with others, who always brings joy and good energy and it shows in his photos. My husband and I are not models or good at posing for photographs, but Justin made us laugh and feel at ease throughout the entire day. He is endlessly creative - it was raining on our wedding day and Justin somehow made it look as though the sun was shining brightly. Justin is an amazing photographer. We now consider him a friend.
We booked Justin in 2018 for a Sept 2020 wedding. Covid pushed it back and we ended up eloping in 2021 - that was just us, Justin, and our officiant, Jenna.
We ended up doing a happily ever after party in 2022. At this point, we’ve known Justin for 3 years - he has been so accommodating, always sees the fun in the moment and he made everything feel relaxed. We were a couple that did not like too many posed pictures and wanted more organically caught moments. That’s exactly what we got. Even with the obligatory posed pictures, he managed to catch the best moments where we both weren’t so awkwardly trying to figure out what to do with our hands and how to school our faces at the same time.

One of the best wedding decisions we made was hiring Justin! We knew after browsing his Instagram and his website that the photos would be excellent, and our expectations were completely exceeded.
Justin spent a lot of time before the wedding getting to know us, making sure he was aware of who we wanted in our family/staged photos, and just being an overall part of the planning process, which we really appreciated. On our actual wedding day, he showed up early and spent time with both of us in our separate getting ready locations. Justin was an absolute joy to be around all day.

As soon as we came across Justin's website, my now-husband and I knew that he was everything we were looking for in a photographer. We are both adventurous travelers who love the outdoors; that, combined with the fact that we knew we wanted to take our engagement photos in the mountains and have an outdoor wedding, drew us to Justin's photography style. I would recommend everyone around the DMV area to have Justin as their wedding photographer! Due to the ongoing pandemic, we decided to keep things private and planned an elopement ceremony in DC. My husband found Justin's website online, and we both really liked the style of his pictures! After making sure that Justin is available on the date we wanted, we had a zoom meeting to talk about our plans, including that I really like the architecture of the Washington National Cathedral and would like to take some nice portraits there. Justin provided a lot of useful details for us to finalize our plan. On the wedding day, we had a really good time doing pictures in the bishop's garden and on the Cathedral grounds. My dress has a long train and Justin even helped me carry it 😂, and also my shoes... He's such a nice and delightful person and certainly made things so much easier on a stressful day like that. I received 51 preview pictures to share with my family on the same day and the full gallery in only 10 days!! Which is really fast and amazing. I hope my husband and I will have the opportunity to do more pictures with him in the future, maybe for our anniversaries. It was a pleasure to have Justin as our photographer! I found him on Instagram and we connected so well during the initial meeting. I was super excited to have him. He's so fun and energetic, and that helped put my bridesmaids and I at ease during the wedding day. To start it off, our wedding was postponed from Sept 2020 to May 2021, Justin was super responsive and flexible with the change so that took a lot of stress off my mind. Given that we decided to forgo the ceremony, I was concerned if Justin was able to get enough footage for a wedding album. He was able to provide over 1000 photos from the wedding for us; an amazing feat given that he's the only photographer. A lot of the photos were great candid ones of our guests and us, which I loved. I chose to create my own wedding album as his style for wedding albums wasn't what I was looking for. Having done that, I do wish I had specified certain photos I wanted (i.e., we had a harpist but no photos of her, we didn't get a photo of the wedding dress hanging). I can't recall if I had said that I didn't need those photos at the moment, but in hindsight it would have been nice for the album. We also wished we were given a bit more direction in the formal photos, he provided us direction for the posture / poses, but would have liked a bit more for the angle of our faces, the direction we're supposed to look at, those small details. However, going in we knew his style was more candid and that was what we wanted. Overall great experience with Justin and loved the photos he provided! I don't even know where to start!! If you're looking for someone who is creative, responsive, accommodating, and not "cookie cutter", you have found the right guy.
Justin stuck with us through our crazy COVID venue switches - we went from a 170 person wedding in Baltimore to a small, 15 person wedding in Harrisonburg, and he didn't treat our event any differently. We were able to get everything we wanted photographed, and he had these gorgeous visions I couldn't have thought of in a million years. Working with Justin on our engagement photoshoot was a fantastic experience. I booked him months in advance from out of town for a cherry blossom shoot -- which I knew was risky as it's not possible to perfectly predict peak bloom or COVID regulations. I booked Justin over his competitors because of his portfolio, value, and the ease and efficiency of communicating with and booking him. When peak bloom shifted due to weather, and then COVID and rain threatened even our date-shifted plans, Justin was communicative and flexible, fully sending us an illustrated map of alternative shoot locations. We first met over video to discuss the shoot, and that is where the true uniqueness of Justin began to shine. Quickly, I felt like Justin was an old friend, with his fun-to-talk-to personality and humor. This carried through to the shoot, which was actually fun for us. Justin made my fiancé and I both so comfortable -- like we were just hanging out with a friend who was so supportive of our marriage he was down to take our pictures. With his skill, Justin was able to capture several distinct, inspired moods within our photoset. I am so grateful to have these photos to look back on for the rest of our lives and to utilize throughout the wedding planning process. Justin overdelivered on time and photo quantity, which had the added benefit of making us feel special. So amazing
Justin was amazing! We had an absolute blast taking our elopement pictures with him. My husband and I were immediately comfortable with him and it made the shoot feel very natural and fun! Justin was SO friendly! We had never met when I reached out to him about photographing the ceremony for our COVID elopement and he was all in! He even held the date for me while I scrambled to find a last minute venue. We could not have had a better experience! Wonderful Photographer!
Justin was our photographer for our November 2020 wedding in Middleburg, Virginia. We can't thank him, and recommend him, enough! Our venue was very spread out and there was a lot of movement and navigating throughout the day. He made sure we found the best spots on the property to take photos, took time to make sure the lighting was perfect, and made us feel so comfortable the entire day. Thank you, Justin!!! -

I don't have the words to express how grateful we are for Justin and his God-given talent! He gave us the wedding photos of our dreams! I am so thankful for his talent, but even more so his kindness and desire to truly help others. Even before the wedding day, Justin messaged me multiple times to try and answer all my questions and guide me with ideas and location as I recently moved to the Northern Virginia area. He was so kind and patient when I forgot our marriage license and he had to wait to get some after ceremony photos for us. He jumped right in when we were having some technical difficulties with zoom just before the ceremony and carried some of our equipment so we wouldn't have to make extra trips. Justin made us feel like we'd known him for years and made the photography process so comfortable and smooth. He was always concerned with us and making sure we were ok and without stress even when it made more work/time for him. The kindest soul I've met in the industry and we're blessed by who he is and his work every time we look at our photos. THANK YOU Justin!!! -

Justin exceeded our wildest dreams. TLDR; He is lightning fast, amazing to work with, and - most importantly - a brilliantly talented photographer.
I reached out to Justin initially because, from the list of recommended vendors of our second (but not eventual) wedding venue (thanks, covid), Justin was the only one in ANY vendor category who had **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** next to his name. I also was looking for someone who could span the range from the formal portraits my mom wanted to the artistic shots I cared about, and after obsessing over the images on his site and social, I knew I'd found the one.
Okay ... so did Justin live up to the hype? OMG YES AND YES AND YES. From our first interaction, Justin made me genuinely feel cared for and cared about. I think at a few points we had live conversations going through email and IG at the same time. And despite several changes in date, time, and location, Justin made them all work. What struck me the most about his style is that Justin is somehow laid back and hilarious while still delivering a world-class experience.
The day of our wedding, Justin was impeccable. He made everyone feel at ease, which is not an easy feat, especially during COVID. What stands out the most from the day of is how FAST he was. To be clear, I never once felt rushed. He was just incredibly efficient. For example, family shots after the ceremony took 15 minutes. Whaaat?! And (spoiler alert) the family photos came out beautifully. How?! Justin can afford to work so quickly because he has such a clear plan and is literally that talented. For us, the pace meant that we were able to enjoy our guests AND get amazing photographs.
Okay, so about the photographs. First, he sent us 100 shots within 24 hours and the full set in under 2 weeks. Second, the photos are more than I could ever have hoped for. Th same man delivered beautiful family portraits, natural candids of moments I had no idea happened, and gorgeous, epic shots of me and my husband up on the mountain, including some long exposure shots with a drone. I asked for it all and I literally got it all and then some.
If you can't already tell, I fangirl HARD for Justin Kunimoto. I cannot wait to have another excuse to hire him and, in the meantime, am honored to call him a dear friend. THANK YOU, JUSTIN!!! -

We don't even know where to begin but Justin is an amazing photographer and an equally great person. We were both nervous because we both tend to lean on the shyer side but it's amazing how comfortable we were able to feel taking photos on our wedding day. We definitely feel it's because of Justin's incredible ability to work with people and give great direction and advice.
To say that our wedding day during these times was unpredictable is an understatement. We not only had Covid-19 to deal with but also a hurricane that changed our venue the night before our ceremony! And yet, through all the updates and changes, Justin, with perfect composure and calm was able to share his insight and provide us with new suggestions on the spot.
If you are on the fence, take this as a sign to just book him! Thank you so much Justin!!! -

Best Ever!!
WOW! Justin has been such a joy to work with! With COVID on the horizon, planning a wedding was not easy. We had multiple conversations during the planning, going from cancelation to postponement, and Justin made himself as flexible as possible throughout the whole process. His organization skills helped to keep me on track and on the day of the wedding he even helped facilitate the day and ensured that we were on track with the timeline. When I first read all the positive reviews for Justin, I was a bit hesitant thinking that he may be too good to be true. However, after this whole experience together, I realized that he really is that amazing! His artistic skill is unapparelled, and he was a pleasure to work with! He is not simply just a photographer, but has truly became a friend. Thank you for all you do Justin!! We appreciate you! :) -

Justin was such an amazing photographer for our wedding! We hired him only for the wedding (no engagement photos etc.) but immediately felt at ease with him from the first meeting and throughout our wedding day.
He's enthusiastic, kind and considerate, but most of all, so so so talented. I have had multiple people write to me that our pictures aren't just great but that each one is like a work of art. His work is just stunning. The lighting is beautiful. The end result is beautiful and dramatic without being overly saturated or washed out.
We felt super comfortable around Justin, and that shows in your photographs. Our families really enjoyed him, and he was a hit on the dance floor, too. He had great relationships with our other vendors, too, which made the whole process feel easy and fun.

Meeting and working with Justin was one of the highlights of our wedding experience. We found him via his social media sites and were instantly impressed with the quality of his photos. His website was also impressive, and the care/attention to detail that he shows was evident from the blogs he has written on several of his wedding photographer experiences. Our initial contact with him via email amazed us with his responsiveness and energy – which could be felt even just through emails! We selected his 6-hour wedding coverage which is $3,300 and was worth every penny. Given Justin’s impeccable communication, attention to detail before/during/after, and the speed in which he got the finished photos back to us, we think this price is even low for his services and professionalism!
Our wedding started at 11:30 in the morning, and Justin arrived at least two hours ahead of time to start capturing shots of us getting ready. With wedding mornings being sort of hectic, Justin brought a great blend of energy, calmness, flexibility, and sense of direction. During the ceremony, Justin was amazingly discrete, and upon looking at photos after the wedding, we were amazed by how he could get so many angles and great photos without his motion being a distraction at all – truly ninja-level skills. It was also notable that during the formal shots that we took during cocktail hour, he did a great job managing our family and friends in a way that made people feel included, while also applying some needed firmness to keep our loved ones from devolving into a chaotic photoshoot haha.
Justin was fantastic during the reception too – not only in taking photos of us and us with the guests, but also in finding time to chat and take wonderful, spontaneous moments of our guests in ways that highlighted their personalities (such as shots of our flower girl dancing and being generally cute). Throughout the wedding, Justin had a plan and was also quick to notice opportunities as they unfolded and adjusted to unexpected changes. A great example of this was how after we finished eating, we wanted to take photos with all our guests at their tables. Some of our friends were not at the table when we reached them, and Justin, unprompted by us, made a note of their name and table, and got us photos with them individually when they came back to the wedding hall.
To reinforce, Justin was a true joy to meet during our wedding experience. He took time before and even after the wedding to get to know our story, likes/dislikes, and hobbies. He was willing to do this in his free time and visited our wedding venue (Ceresville Mansion) before the wedding to get an idea for shots on the wedding day. His willingness to ask questions and get to know us made him feel like a friend, and it also resulted in him capturing the small, meaningful details and big moments from our wedding in a wonderful, comfortable way – from pineapples to blue roses :) Thank you Justin – meeting and working with you was incredible! -

The best of the best
Words can't describe Justin.. He is simply the best! We met Justin when he took pictures at a friend's wedding and instantly knew we would book him for our engagement shoot and wedding. My husband and I are super awkward when it comes to taking pictures or even posing but Justin makes it super easy and fun! Most of our smiles and laughs looked so genuine because we were actually laughing with Justin from his silliness and friendliness. During our wedding, we were through with the formal pictures and even reception pictures so we had him put down his camera and have fun with us. But when I turn around, I see him with his camera at hand AGAIN and is just nonstop working. Justin is definitely the goofiest, nicest and most hard-working person I have ever met! -

Couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Justin!
Justin is the best wedding photographer anyone could ask for. He is very professional and will do everything he can to be prepared for the day of the shooting. Justin puts his time and heart in getting to know the couples and their guests, making sure the details, and having back up plans for unexpected situations. While I was amazed by his such sincere and professional attitude towards his work, I think what is most unique and special about Justin is that he cares the most for the couples and the guests to HAVE FUN. He is super flexible, open to any requests, and a very very fun person to be with. All our family, guests, and staff supporting our wedding LOVED him and had so much fun spending the day with Justin.
While he is dedicated to capturing every important moment and expression, he is also actively present to celebrate the day with you which I feel is very important when trying to choose someone who will spend the BIG day of your life with you. I am very confident that couples and guests who meet Justin will find themselves in love with him.
Needless to say, Justin’s photos are extraordinary and as a big fan of his photography it was our top priority to have Justin as our wedding photographer. What I love about Justin’s photos is that they are full of warm feelings and has depth. You can almost hear the laughter, the conversations that went on, and feel the energy of the people from seeing Justin’s photos. They are just so genuine and beautiful.
I am so grateful that not only did he shoot our wedding but was happy to do a destination photoshoot in Tokyo on the day after the wedding. You can tell that he is a man of dedication with so much passion and energy from the fact that he was ready to do the photoshoot on the next day while staying until past midnight to celebrate our wedding day with us!
I guarantee that you will have the best experience with Justin and be so happy that you have chosen him as your photographer. He is the most humble, patient, fun, and sweetest person ever!! I hope many people get to experience the joy of working with Justin!

only the best wedding photographer ever! Justin isnt only our photographer, he also became our friend over the course of our planning. He's an absolute blast to hang out with and he made our wedding day that much easier! i would give 6 stars if Weddingwire allowed me too!
