Justin was amazing. He overdelivered in every way possible.
We had the best experience with Justin. His second shooter Josh was also excellent. The two of them were always around when needed but also didn't feel obtrusive. They felt like they fit right into the crowd while snapping great shots. I also wanted to bring a few pictures to my grandmother the week following the wedding as she couldn't attend due to covid. Justin totally overdelivered and everything was amazing. We had so much fun and he kept us very comfortable and reminded us to have fun constantly. Also Justin bounced with us as our wedding was always the same date but the venue changed 4 times with our final arrangement being an hour from our originally agreed to location and it ended up being a church wedding plus a backyard reception. He worked with us on the fly. On one other note he was really great with my nephews Austin is 16 months and Justin did a great job of catching the pictures and keeping Austin engaged. It was really awesome.
Note: wedding wire is struggling to upload the pictures likely my internet connection. I tried to share some of the unstaged awesome pictures Justin took. Everything he staged came out perfect and we cannot wait to have a few enlarged but I was so impressed by his captured moments. Those he didn't stage where he and Josh just caught these great little moments. He was also very creative with some of our sillier things like instead of a cake we had an ice cream truck and everything Justin did with the truck and ice cream was so fun. I will share those photos as part of my review as soon as I can. -

Heaping on praise and love for Justin and his assistant Rose for their incredible work during our wedding day at NYIT De Seversky on Long Island. Apologies for the belated review! Looking back on our wedding, I can say without a doubt that Justin was our most memorable vendor and would strongly recommend him as a professional photographer.
Our initial conversations with Justin prior to the wedding put us instantly at ease. He carefully laid out his vision and approach to shooting weddings, all the while taking into consideration our cultural backgrounds and personal requests. In the days leading up to the wedding, logistics with Justin were set to auto-pilot and we didn't have to worry about a single detail.
On the day of, Justin and his team arrived early and mapped out the entire venue in order to plan shots and anticipate ideal lighting for the outdoor event. They were gracious and consummate professionals in their interactions with family (both moms were extremely impressed), guests, and staff. I have a lifelong streak of being super awkward in front of a camera, but Justin was able to set a relaxing tone and capture genuine shots of us. Justin pulled us aside for brief moments during the day, giving us a chance to step back and appreciate everything happening around us, as well as to shoot unique sequences that were the highlights of our photos.
When we received our photos in just a couple of weeks (!) following the wedding, we were so impressed with the quality of Justin's work. The photos looked AMAZING and we got a chance to see so many exquisite organic moments shared among our guests and families. Even the more "traditional" shots conveyed depth and tone that speak to Justin's talent.
If you decide to hire Justin and his team for your event, you will be in excellent hands! -

My fiancee and I had Justin take our engagement photos, and we could not be happier with the whole experience! Justin got back to me the same day I reached out to him per the recommendation of a friend, and was able to quickly schedule our photos around the leaves changing colors. Justin was flexible and worked hard to ensure that we were getting exactly what we wanted out of the shoot. We have shared the photos with family and friends, and everyone is so impressed! We definitely recommend Justin for any and all of your photography needs. -

Hire Justin Ho. Just do it, you won't regret it.
In our post-wedding funk, we were able to look back on Justin's photos and fully relive every part of the day in vivid detail. Not only does he take gorgeous photos, he is magically able to capture some of the most intimate and fleeting moments of the day without anyone feeling like they were posing for anything. The photos are also a portfolio of inventive perspectives that you would never even think to ask for from a wedding photographer. You get all the value you expect from the standard posed wedding photos, with the added bonus of some of the most unique preparation, ceremony, and reception photos you could ask for. The shots of us dancing with our moms look like stills from an art house film. The photos from the dance floor look -- well, there's no other way to describe it than they look LIT. I don't know how Justin managed to make it look like we were at a full-on rave, but he did.
What we really appreciated about Justin is his communicativeness before the event. We had an in-person meeting with him where he spent a lot of time getting to know us and our vibe and then followed up with phone calls and e-mail to get the best sense of what we wanted in terms of shots. Then he just went an extra 10 miles.
We haven't stopped looking at our photos. We can't recommend Justin enough. And his assistant, Rose, was also a delight. -

We had an amazing session with Justin! The photos were really creative and the colors in the edits are gorgeous. My normally camera-shy partner and I had a great time. I feel really fortunate to have met Justin! -

Justin took wedding photos for my husband and I in Central Park. The photos look beautiful , we shot right around sunset and the light was perfect. He is super creative and used a prism for some of the photos as well. Great attention to detail and super personable. I highly recommend his services! -

Justin sincerely did a great job! And saved us from a sticky situation. My fiancé and I had flown to NYC with a different photographer booked to take bridal photos. The photographer canceled on us after we had arrived in NYC. With only 6 hours of notice before doing a photo shoot, Justin provided us with the exact photos we wanted, while creating an experience and environment that we really enjoyed and was comfortable! He is a really nice, outgoing individual who understands the importance of getting both classy, traditional and photos that are fascinating, artistic and really cool! He cleared space for the photo shoot at some of the busiest times of the day very adeptly and quickly, so we could get the best shots we wanted. Ahead of time, we asked for some specific photos, sending him pictures of what we wanted and asking for some rooftop photos, and he knew exactly where to take the photos! His turnaround was very quick and the editing was pretty crisp and clean!
Overall, he’s a very fun and easy person to work with, flexible and able to deliver the exact photos that you want... and add in other photos that you never knew you needed but absolutely love! I highly recommended using him, we enjoyed our experience!

Justin was a partner to my husband and me from the very beginning of our planning process. His collaborative, consultative approach was reassuring amidst the requisite chaos that comes with organizing such an important day. He was flexible as our needs changed and provided a higher level of service than I ever thought possible. Working with Justin means that your day will be stress-free and efficient. He's always prepared with lighting equipment, multiple lenses, and multiple poses in mind. No matter what little experience you might have being in front of the camera, Justin will make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed so that your true personality and beauty will shine through in every frame. Throughout your shoot, he will show you how the photos are coming out, and will adjust as necessary. He has a warm and friendly demeanor, and will work with you to make sure your vision is captured during the shoot. He does this by working with you to create a mood board before the shoot that includes poses, clothing, ambiance, and more. You will not be disappointed by his creations! -

Justin and his team definitely put us at ease on our wedding day. Justin has the professional experience to be able to balance calling the shots and letting the magic happen. He captured so many great moments, and went above and beyond countless times.
