  Roberta is the best!

  Working with Roberta made getting married much less stressful. She helped us feel more comfortable and relaxed, and the ceremony was beautiful. She walked us through everything and made our big day that much more special.

  Roberta made our ceremony perfect!

  I was so nervous picking an officiant and spent days reading through reviews before reaching out to Roberta, and she was as amazing as all of her reviews said. Roberta made planning our ceremony so easy, and she performed it perfectly. She is an absolute professional and was a pleasure to work with! She told us everything we needed to know well in advance of the wedding, listened to our preferences, and created a ceremony that fit us perfectly. She was able to beautifully tell our story as a couple and I could tell she was genuinely happy to have been a part of our wedding day.

  Wedding June ‘23

  We hired Roberta to officiate our wedding, and we could not be more pleased with how everything went! Seriously, Roberta was so professional and helpful leading up to the big day. And then, we were honestly blown away by how smooth the actual ceremony went and how genuine it all felt. We even included a handfasting moment, and she handled it perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests, and many people assumed Roberta was a close friend by how authentic and personal the ceremony was. Highly recommend!

  We were very late for the ceremony yet she was punctual and had a positive attitude the entire time. Never once showed any frustration. Relaxed and went with the flow - despite many distractions during the ceremony (toddlers running and making noise). We asked for many additions to her opening remarks and she accommodated every request we made. Extremely professional, patient, passionate, enthusiastic, warm, and genuine.

  The sweetest ceremony

  Roberta was so helpful, involved, and caring for our wedding ceremony. Although we had just met her the day of, it was almost like we’ve known Roberta forever. The ceremony was so sweet and joyful, and we’re so happy to have her be a part of our special day, surrounded by our loved ones!!

  Roberta is the BEST wedding officiant - hands down!

  When we started our hunt for a wedding officiant, we were unsure where to start becuase both of us grew up religious but didn't want a religious wedding, so we thought of what was important to us and went to google. We knew we wanted a woman (weddings we have been to with women officiants were more warm and personal in our opinion) and wanted someone who would make it personal to us. We found Roberta and emailed her our interest, and she responded immediately to set up a call. From the first few minutes of our meeting, I knew she would be our officiant - she was interested in us and our story and wanted that to shine, she was friendly, personable, and I loved the outfits she wore in the photos she had on her website (superficial and silly, I know. but the officiant is right up there with you for the biggest moment of the wedding!). We met with Roberta again closer to the wedding to go over details and discuss our vows and things, and I was looking forward to the wedding ceremony but the ceremony Roberta gave blew us away. It was as if she had known us our whole relationship. She took time to add in personal elements, give great advice/messaging on love, and let us shine with our own vows (which she confirmed were "equal" in length and detail so one person did not feel outshone by the other). It was truly amazing, and I will treasure our wedding even more becuase Roberta was a part of it. It was a truly beautiful ceremony, and many of our guests told us they had never been to a wedding that was so thoughtful and personal. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Roberta as your officiant!

  Absolutely Wonderful

  We wanted an officiant with a great personality and relatable that we could connect with. Roberta was perfect (she also came highly recommended by our venue). She was quick to respond to questions and helpful throughout the entire process, providing us with great information to help us plan our ceremony. It was also very easy to reschedule when we initially needed to postpone due to Covid.

  Amazing personalized ceremony

  Roberta at Justified Love was absolutely amazing, I can't recommend her enough! From the start, she was so responsive and easy to communicate with. I had originally booked Roberta for my November 2020 wedding, when that got rescheduled due to COVID, Roberta was so flexible and understanding. She happened to be available for our new date of December 2021 and we were thrilled.
  
  She worked with us to personalize the ceremony so that it truly felt like "us". We communicated via email mostly and did have a phone call as we got closer to the date so that she could learn more about us. That was all it took for her to deliver an absolutely amazing ceremony.
  
  A number of family members and friends came up to us to compliment the ceremony and ask how we knew Roberta. They thought she was a friend or someone we knew in advance of the day, and couldn't believe we had only spoken to her in person once before our wedding.
  
  Roberta truly listens and gets to know you and allows you to incorporate your personalities as a couple into the day. We couldn't have asked for more and are so happy with our decision to work with Roberta.

  Lovely ceremony and ease of planning.

  Couldn't be happier with our Justice of the Peace, Roberta Black. She was able to facilitate our plans and requests for our ceremony with ease. Her beautiful officiating was perfect! Family also commented on how lovely ceremony was.

  Roberta was awesome!

  My husband and I selected Roberta to be the JP for our wedding and she was awesome! She listened to everything we asked for and was so easy work with. She was warm and kind while still being professional and getting everything done exactly as we asked for it. We got a lot of compliments on how beautiful our ceremony was. She totally understood we wanted a love based ceremony and did not want a religious ceremony, and she performed a beautiful Celtic handfasting reading for us as well during the ceremony. We would highly recommend you choose Roberta for your wedding

Early on the process of picking vendors I was so nervous about did I make the right choice will they deliver what I’m looking for. Well brides I am so pleased that I did hire Roberta. She is very professional and tailored our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. Very prompt with responding and answering questions that I thought seemed silly or stuff that I asked millions times but for got the answer she was there. There is something about her presence that just puts you at ease and feels like you’ve know her for years. Roberta showed up well dress and early the day of the wedding. So happy she was there to perform our ceremony.

  We hired Roberta off a recommendation from a friend. Roberta was easy to work with and helped us with choosing readings. Both us and our guests were impressed by how well Roberta controlled the room. My now husband was so nervous he kept whispering during the ceremony. Roberta was a total pro and rolled with it.

  Roberta had the natural ability to understand exactly what we were looking for without really having to ask. She has a great personality that makes you feel at ease, even when you are planning an event that can be very stressful. I would highly recommend Roberta if you are thinking about tying the not, I can't imagine anyone being displeased with her service.

  Roberta is a pleasure to work with! She genuinely wants your ceremony to be YOURS and not a cookie cutter moment. She is easy to work with and gives guidance and advice when needed, but in the end creates a beautiful ceremony. I would highly recommend her!!

  Roberta and Rose run a 5 star service. From the first meeting with her we found her energy amazing. We knew we found the best place and best JP/Justice of the Peace in Roberta to share our day. Roberta, not only provided ideas to help us define our program but she also provided excellent guidance for us to write our own vows.
