Excellent all around - would highly recommend

Art and Arlene were a great asset in planning and on our wedding day. They are extremely helpful, organized, thoughtful and were flexible and understanding when we needed to reschedule our wedding reception due to COVID-19. Going into wedding planning we considered not hiring a justice of the peace, but having a team like Art and Arlene to support you is extremely valuable and we're glad we decided to work with them. We would highly recommend choosing Art and Arlene as your justice of the peace.

Intimate wedding amid COVID-19

My husband (!) and I are incredibly grateful that we chose to work with Arthur and Arlene for our wedding! They offered us so much support and made everything go as smoothly as possible. Arthur was an excellent officiant during our ceremony, and although we were unable to have the big ceremony we had initially planned due to COVID-19, we had a beautiful and intimate ceremony.
Arthur and Arlene also prepared a wonderful packet for us after the wedding, filled with keepsakes, which we will cherish forever.

We would recommend Arthur and Arlene Tatro to any couple who is looking for an officiant who will go out of their way to make your day as special and personal as possible!

Best Officiants

We knew Arthur and Arlene were the ones to officiate our wedding after our first visit with them. They are the most genuinely nice people I’ve ever met, and were so helpful through the wedding process. Leading up to the wedding they called us as check-ins to make sure we were on track. Arthur has a great speaking voice and great sense of humor and is very detailed oriented walking us through the most minute detail to ensure we even get the best wedding photos. We had such a blast during our ceremony and it’s definitely thanks in part to these two. Thanks again for everything guys!

Phenomenal Justices of the Peace

Art and Arlene are true experts in their field. They were suggested to us by our wedding venue, and we knew we made the right choice after our first meeting. They provided us a booklet of wedding ceremony ideas to develop our personalized ceremony and offered many suggestions for us to consider, while not pressuring us in the least. In addition to being easy to talk to, the Tatros are very thorough, detail oriented, and organized - from providing us with reminders to apply for our marriage license, to being flexible with scheduling a rehearsal, to walking us through step-by-step the ceremony ahead of time. They removed a lot of the stress associated with the actual ceremony and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Zuka's Hilltop Barn recently and had Arthur as our JP- we couldn't be happier with our decision! Art and Arlene were great throughout the whole process- from meeting at their house and going over all our ceremony options, to reminding us when it's time to choose passages, apply for marriage license, etc., to the rehearsal and the wedding day ceremony- they know what they are doing and do a great job doing it! They are professional, personable, and made the process of planning a ceremony much easier than we had expected! We would highly recommend!!

Easy choice

Art and Arlene were an easy choice for us as our wedding officiant. Meeting with them put us both at ease about the ceremony and wedding planning. We were able to customize our ceremony and vows with their guidance. Our friends and family thought the ceremony was perfectly “us”. Art and Arlene were very responsive and followed up regularly to make sure we were on track. The structure that they provided on the day of the rehearsal and ceremony made everything go perfectly. Ceremony Unique to You

Art & Arlene made the ceremony so easy and special for us and our wedding party. They were very easy and fun to work with. Art and Arlene were wonderful to work with! Not only did they essentially plan our entire wedding ceremony, they were super responsive and willing to make any changes we threw at them. Art and Arlene's love for one another really shows through their work with engaged couples, from beginning to end they sent out little reminders (rehearsal time confirmation, applying for marriage license, etc.) to ensure that everything went as smoothly and stress free as possible come wedding day. Art and Arlene were fun, professional, kind hearted, and truly know what love is, no question about it. Art has a wonderfully soothing voice and really knows the details of your perfect day. He has a great book of suggested types of services which are easy to read through, customize, and really make your own. He is organized, sends reminders, and works hard throughout your wedding planning experience. In addition he is very flexible, full of wonderful ideas, and can read any couple to give them a perfect service.

Thank goodness I found the Tatros! They are the most welcoming and kind people I've met. From our initial meeting in their lovely home, to the rehearsal, to the wedding itself, they helped my day go off without a hitch. They answered questions I didn't know I had and helped guide me through the entire process from start to finish. I felt more like I had a set of wedding planners than just a JP.

Art performed the service itself but they were both integral to my ceremony. They made sure it went off without issue and so many of my guests gave compliments on how well-done the service was and how funny Art was. Every detail was taken care of, including making sure that his tie matched our wedding colors! Thank you, Art and Arlene for giving us a gorgeous, perfect ceremony.

My husband and I wanted a wedding ceremony that was unique and personal to us; Art and Arlene were able to help us make that possible. From our first meeting we went over all of the different ceremony options. The way they had everything organized made it really easy for us to piece together the ceremony we both dreamed of.

Art and Arlene were professional, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. They would check in often and send helpful resources whenever possible. At the rehearsal they made sure our bridal party, parents, and us knew exactly what to expect and what would be expected of them.

Planning a wedding requires a lot of time and effort, but thanks for Art and Arlene crafting and pulling off the perfect wedding ceremony was a breeze! They also handled all of the paperwork and had a mini copy of the marriage certificate for us right after our ceremony that we were able to take with us on our honeymoon for proof of marriage.

We utilized Art and Arlene's services for our 15 year vow renewal. From beginning to end the experience was top notch! I contacted numerous local individuals to perform a private personal ceremony during the day. They were the only individuals to contact me back in a timely manner and offer what we were looking for and more. They were extremely thorough (offering details I hadn't thought of) and very professional. We were presented with a lovely (unexpected) memory packet. If I could give them a million stars I would. I had my wedding at Salem cross inn on September 24th 2017 and since the very beginning meeting them a year ahead they have been amazing and attentive. We changed our vows at the last minute and they helped so much and were so accommodating. So professional but so kind and friendly. The rehearsal went great and they keep our big crazy wedding party in line like a breeze. Highly highly recommend them

Art & Arlene officiated our wedding on 9-16-17, and it was the most genuine, real and beautiful ceremonies EVER! I am not only saying this because it was our wedding either. It was customized to US. Our love, our life, our future. It was everything we wanted and more. Working with the Tatro's was perfect! They were knowledgeable, punctual, flexible and very professional. People complimented us all night and still until this day on how beautiful the ceremony was and how heart felt. Maybe it was a toss between our personal vows we wrote and the ceremony. Mr. & Mrs. Tatro were fantastic from our 1st meeting all the way until the end of the actual ceremony. Mr. Art Tatro made sure the entire ceremony was perfect, from photos, to the littlest details as to making sure none of my bridal party was chewing gum. Every second of the ceremony was perfect. Mrs. Arlene Tatro was there, making sure everyone took deep breaths walking down the aisle. She honestly calmed me down more than anyone before I took the 1st step. Everything was absolutely perfect and I couldn't recommend this loving couple more!

Arthur and Arlene helped plan and officiate our ceremony and we couldn't be happier. We met with other Justice of the Pieces prior to meeting Arthur and Arlene Tatro, and new once we met them that they were the perfect fit for us. They have a great system that makes planning the ceremony simple and that allows you to create something unique between you and your spouse. They walked us through the ceremony planning and helped us work through all the details piece by piece. They always phoned and emailed as we reached major milestone and to remind us about getting a marriage license. They have this fantastic booklet of readings, vows, and ceremonies they've collected over time, and that made it super simple for my wife and I to make selections. We got so many complements on the ceremony and how great Arthur and Arlene were. My bridal party loved that they new exactly what to do even though we changed the location last minute. We used Justices Arthur and Arlene Tatro to help plan our ceremony and used Justice Arthur as officiant at our wedding and we couldn't be happier. They walked us through the ceremony planning and helped walk us through details beyond that as well. They phone and email in the months and weeks before to remind about getting a marriage license and to check with the venue about rehearsal times. They have this fantastic booklet of readings, vows, and ceremonies they've collected over time, and that made it super simple for my wife and I to make selections. They were open to customizations as well, as we brought our own hand fastening ceremony reading. We got so many complements on the ceremony and Arthur as the officient. Highly recommended!

We just used Arthur & Arlene for our wedding on August 28, 2016. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married! I knew right away when I called to inquire that we would end up choosing them. First of all they answer the phone! Most places you call nowadays you have to leave a message and hope you get called back. I spoke with Arthur and he explained how everything works and made an appointment for us to come in. We met with them and they went through everything with us and sent us home with a booklet to look through to help us choose the perfect ceremony for us.
As it got closer to our wedding date Arther or Arlene called or emailed us little reminders to apply for the marriage license, or to confirm the rehearsal date, etc. The rehearsal was great as they thoroughly went through everything with us and made sure we were all comfortable with how things would go.
Thanks to both of them our wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. We chose to have a butterfly ceremony (where we released a box of various butterflies) and with their help it all went perfectly smooth!

Arthur and Arlene exceeded our expectations beyond words could for our wedding day.
The ceremony is such an important part of the wedding and they did everything they could to ensure it went absolutely perfect.
We were particular nervous about speaking in front of a large crowd, and the two of them were able to make sure we knew exactly what to do at every moment throughout the wedding and even eased our nerves quite a bit the night before at our rehearsal.
They called to check in with us and took a huge burden off our shoulders, making sure we had everything we needed (even reminding us about our marriage license). It wasn't just the day of the wedding but from the day we met them over a year before our wedding date, they told us they were here to take the stress off an already stressful time in our lives and that's exactly what they did.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Arthur and Arlene for making our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect. We will always remember how special you made our day.

During our first meeting we were met by two very warm and organized individuals who were truly passionate about what they do. They walked us through the process before, during, and after the wedding which made the ceremony aspect of our wedding a breeze. We decided on a Sunday night to get married that following Friday! I called Mr. and Mrs. Tatro on Monday afternoon, and spoke w/ Arthur. He gave suggestions regarding our license, etc. We went to their home on Wednesday to see the property and decide where we would get married. They were EXTREMELY accommodating. We met with Art and Arlene in November of 2015 and knew we needed to pull it all together quickly because we wanted to get married in March of 2016. They took the time to understand what was important and special to us while planning the ceremony. Their attention to detail was incredible. They guided us through the whole process, gave us tons ceremony of options, suggestions and were always available as questions came up. Their services included the rehearsal as well and made our whole wedding party and family completely at ease.
Their expertise and professionalism made our wedding a complete joy.

Excellent officiant!! We are so happy we ended up finding Arthur and Arlene. We loved working with them from the very beginning. To be honest, we had an appointment with another officiant right after but ended up canceling with him because we had hit it off so well. From start to finish the Tatros made my husband and I feel completely in control of our experience. We had so many options presented to us for our ceremony, and ultimately decided to write our own. I would not have wanted anyone else to read those special words to us, our friends, and our family. This kind and considerate couple was truly professional, flexible, and all together wonderful. They went beyond our expectations--giving us suggestions on photo opportunities, wedding day logistics, and words of wisdom. I cannot recommend them enough. Our wedding would not have been the same without Arthur and Arlene! We first found them through our wedding venue, where they are preferred vendors and, from our first interaction with them, we knew they were the ones! As soon as you meet with them, it's clear that they truly love what they do and, above all else, they want to make your wedding day as stress free and perfect for the bride and groom as possible and they did just that! One thing that sets them apart is the ability for couples to literally create a customized ceremony. My husband and I sat down and got to really make a ceremony that fit us and Arthur delivered it with such feeling and emotion. It was perfect. Throughout our engagement, they were in regular contact, reminding us of important deadlines (ie, applying for our marriage license!) and they did the most thorough wedding rehearsal of any wedding I've been a part of!! Afterwards, we received a copy of the entire ceremony written out for us to keep (which I love!) and a little card certifying that we were married to bring on our honeymoon for perks... Arthur and Arlene really have thought of everything! So many of our friends and family commented on how special our ceremony was and that was in large part because of these two. Arthur and Arlene will make your wedding day one you won't forget.

Arthur & Arlene were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were so professional, extremely organized (which I very much appreciated), and very friendly. Arthur very much looked the part of a Justice of the Peace at our wedding, very professionally dressed. He was a very good sport also as my husband jokingly poked fun at his Boston accent during our wedding ceremony :) They are worth every penny spent on them for their services as they read and re-read every ounce of our ceremony to look for mistakes or to give their advice/input. Thank you so much to both of them for their services, we would absolutely recommend them to any future bride & groom!

Arthur and Arlene made what can be an overwhelming process so stress free! We met with them at their house to go over the different ceremony options and entire process. We were able to make the ceremony very personalized and people at the wedding thought it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to! They are very organized and easy to work with as well! They even send reminders to get your marriage license and provide a detailed checklist to ensure everything goes smoothly! I felt like I had known them for so long; they both have such tender, loving hearts and it shows throughout the entire process with them. I cannot write enough good things about them!

Where do I even begin...

5 stars are not nearly enough for all that our Justice of the Peace (Mr. & Mrs Arthur Tatro) did for us! From the very moment I made an inquire, I received a pleasant phone call in which I knew immediately I wanted this gentleman to marry us. After our initial meet and greet, I felt like I not only hired a JP to conduct the wedding ceremony, but also a mini wedding planner who would go on to guide us with his years of experience working with vendors, designating rough time frames for us to meet certain tasks, and spelling out a post-marital to do list in terms of changing last names and taking care of the legal important stuff. I could go on and on about how comfortable Mr. Arthur Tatro & his beloved wife made us feel and how perfect every word of our ceremony was delivered; both sincerely and genuinely. It's been 5 weeks since our wedding day and I keep reliving over and over how perfect and moving that day was because we had a Justice of the Peace who was just simply exceptional. My new husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Art & Arlene Tatro. From the first time we spoke to Art on the phone, it was clear just how organized and efficient he is. Art & Arlene have officiating weddings down to a science! They work with their couples to ensure that everything goes smoothly and are there to offer advice, words of wisdom, or to answer any questions you may have along the way. The Tatros are dedicated to each and every couple they work with, which can be easily seen in all of the personal touches they provide. Our family and bridal party have even been raving about how great it was working with them! We could not be more thankful to Art & Arlene for all of their help along the way and for making our day so perfect. My advice to any bride is to go with a Justice of the Peace, like Art & Arlene, who KNOW what they are doing. It will take so much unnecessary stress off of your shoulders.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with arthur and arlene for our wedding. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and was by my favorite vendor to work with. They always got back to us quickly and would even call us in advance to remind us of dates we needed to complete things. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, we had almost everyone that night come up to us and tell us how our ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! We are beyond happy and will always recommend them to anyone in the future!
