From the very first conversation, it was clear that we were in the best possible hands. She brought such care, intention, and genuine warmth to every step of the process, making us feel completely supported and understood. By the time our wedding day arrived, we knew our ceremony would be something truly special—and she exceeded even those highest expectations.
What made it even more special was how beautifully she wove in personal stories about us. She didn’t just tell our story—she truly understood it and reflected it back in a way that felt authentic, intimate, and deeply moving. The way she highlighted meaningful moments, shared little details, and captured the essence of our relationship made the ceremony feel uniquely ours. Grateful and Blessed :)
We had a beautiful elopement ceremony at the Harvard Arboretum, and our officiant brought such warmth and individuality to the moment. She clearly pours her heart into what she does, and her personal style made the experience feel unique and heartfelt. The vows she prepared for us were touching and thoughtful, and we really appreciated the care she took in creating a ceremony that felt intimate and sincere. She also arrived with her own binder and kindly took and sent photos straight away, which gave us wonderful memories to share with family. Despite carrying a lot in her personal life, she showed up with kindness, energy, and genuine intention, and we felt very supported throughout. We’re grateful for the time she spent with us and for helping shape such a meaningful, memorable moment on our day. It’s an experience we’ll treasure, and we appreciate her role in making it special.

We got married at the end of September in downtown Boston. Leslie came to our rescue because our officiant's paperwork did not come in for an out of state license in time. Leslie was superb in more ways than one!
She found out about us through a short conversation and wrote a beautiful speech to legally marry us a few short hours before our ceremony.
Leslie was gracious and accommodating in so many ways, most of all she truly wanted to wish us a lifetime of happiness by helping us get married.Leslie Zises's reply:
An unexpected situation proved to be one of the most memorable events to date. Yes, the bride’s sister (who I met and who is lovely) did not have the proper papers and I was contacted by the wedding couple to officiate. We had such a great time talking, and we became fast friends and I was welcomed into the family room before the ceremony. This is a couple who will be etched in my ceremony wedding memories - fun, accessible, respectful, welcoming! It was a pleasure to be with them. I am genuinely thankful to have met Justice Leslie Zises. I believe it was a blessing from God to have met someone as kind and compassionate as she has been. I contacted her regarding her availability to officiate at our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary, where she intended to renew our wedding vows. From our initial phone encounter, she was professional, courteous, warm, and caring. I felt at ease with her immediately, and I was thankful for the level of detail and attention that she provided regarding our ceremony. She made herself available to take my phone calls even when she was away at a medical appointment. Her commitment to the care and concern for my wife and myself was outstanding. She was also very knowledgeable about the various aspects of planning and spent much time getting to know our family. In addition to her professional characteristics, she is also a very warm and caring individual who seemed genuinely concerned about the blessing and the gravity of what the wedding sacrament represents. Although I rarely write reviews, I thought it would be a disservice to others not to share my wonderful experience with our wedding officiant, Leslie Zises (justice of the peace). Me and my bride-to-be decided on short notice to elope at the beautiful Boston Harbor Hotel. Since everything was on such short notice, and us being from out of state, we had no idea on who would marry us and what we needed to do. Like any confused individuals, we called the concierge at our hotel, hoping for some direction on who could marry us on such short notice.
We couldn’t have been more impressed with their recommendation of Justice Leslie Zises. The Boston Harbor Hotel is a 5-star hotel, and they absolutely directed us to a 5-star officiant in Leslie. From the moment I first contact Leslie by email, it was clear from her response that we had made the right choice, and that she was going to be a pivotal part in our special occasion. And, she absolutely played a pivotal role in making our experience unforgettable.
Although we originally planned to just have a quick wedding ceremony and didn’t give much thought into choosing the right officiant to marry us, we know realize how lucky we were to have chosen Leslie. I now realize, even for a short ceremony, choosing the right officiant is very important if you want to have a special and memorable event. Leslie was not only professional but also remarkably warm and engaging. She took the time to get to know us before the ceremony, ensuring that our love and personalities shone through during the vows. This personal touch made the ceremony feel intimate and unique, capturing the essence of their relationship perfectly. I would also add that the meeting between us and Leslie was her idea and not ours, done at no additional expense to us, and after the meeting, we were both sure we had made the right choice on the person who would marry us. We are so please and happy that Leslie suggested the meeting before our ceremony.
Leslie used our meeting to help craft and prepare her eloquent words and heartfelt sentiments for our vows which deeply moved my bride. I will also add that Leslie also provided us with advice and guidance from the moment we contacted us and extending until after the ceremony. She also recommended fabulous restaurant for our trip to Boston. Unbeknownst to us, when we went to dinner after the ceremony, Leslie had called the restaurant concierge were we were dining to advise them of our special occasion, to ensure we would have a night to remember.
If you’re looking for wedding officiant with experience, expertise, connections, and professionalism who can bring your wedding vision to life with grace and authenticity, I wholeheartedly recommend Leslie Zises Thank you Leslie for creating such a memorable experience that we will never forget!!!

Leslie is kind and attentive, she really paid attention to who we are as people and she took the time to get to know us and in turn put together a beautiful ceremony speech. We had an introduction call and met in the Public Gardens to get to know each other even more and review the first draft. In the end it was perfect. Leslie is professional and a pleasure to work with. Absolutely would recommend. -

Amazing!!!!

Leslie was the perfect Justice of the Peace!
My husband and I got married on 9/25/2021 with Leslie as our Justice of the Peace. It was super easy to work with Leslie! She walked us through the process of obtaining our marriage license, explained different elements that we could incorporate into the ceremony, and took the time to learn about us as a couple which helped make the ceremony really personal. Leslie was fast to respond, early to both the rehearsal and ceremony, and just overall really helpful throughout the whole process. We're extremely happy that we chose Leslie as our Justice of the Peace and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Justice of the Peace!!Leslie Zises's reply:

My wife and I found Leslie online, and after reading her reviews knew she would be perfect! Leslie was extraordinary with planning, and making sure we knew everything we had to do and even went the extra step to get to know us so it felt like someone who knew us was marrying us. Hi Future Married Couples, I highly recommend choosing Leslie for your special day. I have been dreaming of my wedding day since I was a little girl and because of covid we had to elope early. My husband and I got married in the Boston Public Garden and planned our elopement in under 2 weeks. I was nervous for the day because I had my dream wedding in mind for so many years, and Leslie truly made the day as special as I had always dreamed. From the start of our communication, Leslie personalized the experience to myself and my husband. She was quick to communicate with and truly showed an investment in our marriage. Leslie was early for our ceremony, she thought of the small details like bringing tissues for our family, and truly made our day the best it could be. She spoke for about 30 minutes and even though we had just met, her speech made it seem like we had known each other for years. It was so sentimental, yet also light-hearted and funny as well. It was so 'us'. I couldn't have asked for a better justice and I will think of her words forever. I can't thank Leslie enough and will cherish my memories. Leslie is amazing-even through COVID'19
Leslie was amazing right from the start! Her very first email was so welcoming and she asked a wide variety of questions to personalize our ceremony. She hosted us and prepared a lovely cake for our interview. We pretty much knew from the start she would be our JoP! She was unbelievable kind to our daughter and reassuring to us as a couple. Amist our wedding plan came COVID'19. Leslie continued to reassure us she would make our day special. Leslie performed a BEAUTIFUL ceremony, all while exercising safety precautions. Leslie is flexible, charming and professional. She made us feel so loved and taken-care of. We would highly recommend Leslie. -
