We had our first chat in summer of 2020 and she just married us in sept 2022! Her communication was amazing and we had minimal check ins but I knew she was there if I needed anything!! Her ceremony was absolutely beautiful and was perfect with preferred pronouns/titles!!

We knew we wanted an officiant we felt comfortable with, but we had no idea just how invaluable Laura would be. From our first call, she made the effort to truly get to know us as a couple, and used that insight to create a personalized ceremony that reflected our love and values. She even took the time to review our personal vows, offering reassurance and thoughtful feedback.
Having Laura at our rehearsal was a huge help — she worked seamlessly with the venue staff and made sure everyone knew the plan, which made us confident going into the big day. On our wedding day, Laura went above and beyond. She advocated for us in the kindest ways, from making sure we had a few private moments before the reception to helping with last-minute details like fixing my hair and holding down my dress during windy photos.

Perfect Cape Cod wedding
Laura was perfect and exactly what I envisioned for our ceremony. Besides the bride & groom, the officiant is very important to set the tone, the vibe I was looking for. She was so easy for us to talk to. Laura came into my room, and just her calming presence met the world to me. Family members were stuck in traffic heading into the Cape, and she reminded me that it was ok and that we had all the time in the world! Words cannot express how much her sentiments met me! The ceremony was exactly what we hoped for--bilingual, we do not practice any faith in particular, but she incorporated a spiritual piece, along with the blended family ceremony. It was perfect! She came back into my room and fixed my hair! All the guests commented on how amazing she is as an officiant! Laura is lovely and we all highly recommend her! Laura--we are so grateful that we had you as our officiant.

Perfect Bilingual Ceremony
I spoke to Laura after she was recommended to me and I saw how great her reviews were. Laura was hired just a few days before my wedding as our original officiant cancelled. She was extremely responsive when we messaged her and let us know she would be able to do our service in English and Spanish which was amazing for my family. She was extremely patient as when she got to my home I was still in the process of getting dressed. The ceremony was beautiful, and she was supportive as we tried to get through our vows (we were super emotional) but she was absolutely wonderful and I’m so happy I was able to find and hire her. She was amazing !
Laura was beyond helpful in making our day special. She made me feel comfortable and calm. Our first phone call she was very thorough and she presented different ideas to me. We weren't sure where to begin when it came to planning the ceremony, but she guided us and made sure it was exactly what we wanted, she was knowledgeable and informative. We have a blended family and she informed us of adding the option of a Sand Ceremony which we thought was a special added touch. She really took the time to get to know us and make sure our ceremony was exactly how we wanted it. Planning a wedding can be a bit chaotic and she made sure to make everything as easy as possible. I am beyond grateful to have had her as a part of our wedding day.

My husband and I extensively searched for a Justice in the greater Boston area that would be able to curate a bilingual ceremony and we are so glad we finally found Laura! We booked Laura only a few weeks before our wedding and she was incredibly helpful as we were getting our marriage license. She also helped us develop a ceremony that was meaningful, personal, and allowed us to incorporate our culture. My husband and I eloped at an art museum in January of 2021. We wanted an intimate ceremony and chose to have no guests present, so the pressure was on regarding the choice of an officiant.
We are beyond grateful to have found Laura! She is so polite and sweet (and “hip” - it’s surprisingly challenging to find a younger officiant). Laura was very helpful with the process of formatting vows and giving advice about what to do during the ceremony - things she could only have learned from experience.

Book Laura! You won't regret it.
We booked Laura in 2020, about a year before our wedding date. Throughout the year of planning, not only was she responsive but she was also helpful in creating a vision for what we wanted.
A few days before our wedding we received news that Hurricane Henri was going to make a landfall in Rhode Island on our wedding day. So of course, our stress levels (okay, maybe just mine) were through the roof! Laura called me before our wedding day with such kindness that I immediately felt at ease after hanging up.
Thank God the hurricane didn't hit Providence as expected and Laura made it from MA to RI safely while providing updates along the way. Upon her arrival she met my husband and I in the bridal suite, provided a rundown of the ceremony and answered questions. She even offered to check our marriage license to ensure that everything was done correctly. Although the weather was okay and guests were filling up the venue, I was still very anxious up until the ceremony and appreciated her presence as we waited for the ceremony to start.
The ceremony was beautiful; Justice Laura brought our vision to reality. I am so grateful that our paths crossed. Justice Laura will be embedded in our wedding memories forever. Thank you, Laura!

Amazing Bilingual Ceremony!
We LOVED having Laura officiate our wedding. Working with her is a dream! She is very easy going and her energy is so calming, even despite her being so busy. She did not make anything feel rushed even though she had 4 total ceremonies the day of our elopement. She followed COVID protocols and made us feel safe.
Laura officiated our bilingual ceremony beautifully in both English and Spanish, flawlessly and seamlessly flipping between both languages. It was so important for us to include both sides of our families in the ceremony, and we are SO thrilled that Laura made that happen. I am sure she would also deliver a wonderful monolingual ceremony.
Before the ceremony, Laura coached us through the process and was very responsive to emails. We had one phone call with her for a consultation before we booked the date. She convinced us to write our own vows, which I am so glad we did in hindsight. Had she not recommended it, we probably would not have done so. Also, not to be vain, but Laura is seriously GORGEOUS (if you don’t believe me, just look at the pictures). Don’t hesitate to book her!

Laura was a life saver during a crazy time! After cancelling our destination wedding because of COVID- my husband and I rushed to plan and made a decision to host a surprise wedding! Laura was so flexible, caring, responsive, and kind! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have even recommended her to a few friends! We appreciate everything she did for us!

Laura was such a pleasure to work with ! She officiated my wedding on July 24, 2020. She showed up to the location 30 minutes early and even held my flowers as my fiancé and I took photos lol. She was very sweet and welcoming whenever I spoke to her and performed a BEAUTIFUL ceremony for our intimate wedding. Even my family members mentioned how nice and great she was. Perfect day!
Laura is incredible at what she does. Because of Covid precautions, we were only able to meet once via facetime before our elopement but it felt as though we had known Laura for years. She was so kind, sweet, and funny and was very open with our location which required a short walk through some woods! We loved having her officiate our intimate elopement and our day was better than we ever imagined it could be.

Words can truly not express our gratitude to you for making our wedding day so special. Thank you for providing an amazing CORONAVIRUS wedding ceremony Lol!!! We were nervous about our big day because we got married in the middle of the global pandemic but we have no regrets. We had to cancel our wedding reception however, we were able to find a way to celebrate love and keep our official wedding date March 27th 2020 and couldn’t be more happier. Getting married during a global pandemic is nobody’s dream day but, it’s been our lovely, fragile reality. Hire this woman!
We loved working with Laura for our intimate ceremony. We met with her a few weeks before to learn a bit about each other, loved her story and focus on diversity and inclusiveness, and hired her on the spot. We had a few specifics we wanted to include in the ceremony (honoring those who have passed, saying a few words about each other, etc.) and she was very flexible with the script. We had a very small, nontraditional wedding. Laura answered all of our questions and made our day very personal and easy. My husband and I highly recommend Laura!

Laura was the consummate professional. She was accessible and responsive and helped my fiancé and I come up with the perfect bi-lingual ceremony. She offered great ideas and insight. Laura was fantastic. She was incredibly accommodating, and arrived early. We ran late and she helped create our makeshift “cake” out of cupcakes and dishes as if she was part of the family. We are so thankful to her, we needed our marriage certificate the next day and she called our towns clerk office to arrange it. Communication was so easy with Laura, no stress at all! Couldn’t have asked for a better JP :)

Unfortunately our original Justice of the Peace had to cancel 3 weeks before our wedding. That's when we contacted Justice Laura Assade, and I am so glad we found her! Wonderful experience!
We had an amazing experience working with Laura! We were looking for an officiant who would be able to perform our wedding ceremony in English and Spanish and found her through a WeddingWire search. My husband's family is mostly Spanish speaking and my family is English speaking and it was very important to us that both sides understood the ceremony and were represented in our wedding. Her ceremony was excellent! The Spanish and English were woven together so smoothly and paced in such a way that you didn't feel like you were listening to large speeches in a language you didn't understand. We knew we wanted a traditional ceremony that wasn't religious and she worked with us to make the ceremony script what we were looking for. We also wanted to include my mother in the ceremony by having her give a reading. Mom decided she wanted to write something for us and Laura worked with her to translate it into Spanish and read it during the ceremony. It was so special and we appreciated the extra work that she did so much!

We had a fantastic experience with Laura!! We got married on the beach just the 2 of us and we we wrote and read our own vows while she photographed the amazing sunset behind us before taking over her part of the ceremony. We have beautiful pictures because she knew exactly what we wanted!! And by the way.... we gave her 3 days to do it!!!

Laura was fantastic from start to finish! My husband and I only met Laura 2 weeks prior to our wedding day and it was evident she was a perfect fit. Laura provided options for the ceremony script as well as great advice from her experience with bilingual ceremonies. My friends and family really enjoyed her company!
