Working with Alex and his team was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were such a pleasure to work with—professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in our story.
On the wedding day itself, Alex and his team brought the brightest, most positive and calming energy. In a day that can feel overwhelming and fast-paced, he and his team were a grounding presence. They blended in seamlessly while still guiding us when needed, striking the perfect balance between being intentional and unobtrusive. We never once felt staged or pressured—just fully ourselves.
Our videos were better than we ever could've expected! They captured our day perfectly. Every emotion—big, small, and everything in between—is preserved so beautifully.

Finding the right videographer was incredibly important to us because we wanted more than just photos. We wanted to capture the voices, the laughter, the tears, the movement—every emotion that made our day unforgettable. At first, we struggled to find a connection with the work we saw, but after months of searching online, we came across Alex V Films, and his work left a lasting impression on us. It was exactly what we had been searching for.
From the moment we met Alex, his warm personality and passion for his craft put us completely at ease. He took the time to understand our vision, showing incredible attention to detail and truly listening to what we wanted. His talent for capturing not only the big moments but also those small, candid interactions brought everything to life in a way we could only dream of.
Alex was able to beautifully weave our vows into the movement and storytelling of our film, bringing each word to life. In my vows, I shared a memory about my papa. As he approached his final days, I asked him, “Papa, what can you tell me about love?” He gently touched his chest and said, “You feel it in your heart.” Alex captured this moment with such care; as I spoke the words, “my papa touched his chest,” the video transitioned to my wife, sliding her hand gently down my chest, mirroring my papa’s gesture. It was as if he had breathed life into our vows, capturing not just the words, but the emotion and legacy behind them.
Alex made the experience of working with him enjoyable. Throughout the process, his communication was top-notch, and professionalism shone through every step of the way. He was attentive of our needs and made the process easy.

We are so happy with the videos Alex delivered for our wedding. I came across Alex online and I’m so glad that I did end up going with him as our videographer. He is very friendly and easy to work with. We have never met with him prior to our wedding day but we felt as though he is our friend. He is very easy to talk to and super chill yet very professional. He responded back to our emails promptly and delivered the videos on time as promised. The wedding day can be so stressful but Alex is very calm and reassuring. He definitely knows what he is doing and making sure that we stayed on time. He advised us on how to pose and made everything easier for us. His pricing packages are very reasonable as well. Overall, we are VERY happy & pleased with his service. He loves what he does and it showed on how he edits the videos and delivered the videos. I definitely recommended Alex if you are looking for a videographer. -

My husband and I had a small, intimate wedding in October 2023 and are so very pleased and impressed with how well Alex and his assistant captured our wedding day! Our cinematic film was everything we can ever dream of! Alex and his assistant were very professional, kind, approachable and had such awesome, positive energy. From the start, Alex was quick to respond to my messages and answered all the questions I had in a timely manner. On our wedding day, Alex did a great job guiding and directing me and my husband to ensure our wedding video turned out perfect. We purchased raw footage on top of our wedding film and in some of the video clips, we noticed that Alex did an exceptional job at guiding us to make sure our poses didn’t look awkward and our clothing and overall look was perfect. I also remembered I mentioned my preferences on how I would like our wedding film to look like and Alex definitely made sure to incorporate everything I wanted. I asked for romantic, intimate and fun vibes and he captured all of that in our video. Alex had an easy going demeanor the whole wedding day and at the same time paid very close attention to all the fine details. We were at awe at how beautiful our wedding film turned out because his videography editing skills are top notch, the music he selected suited the overall vibe of the night and he captured every memorable moment from our wedding. We are forever grateful that we selected Alex to be part of our wedding team. He truly is one of our favorite wedding vendors. I do not know where to begin! In the midst of wedding planning, I came across Alex and his team's work, and I was immediately hooked. Thankfully he was available for our wedding date and came all the way up to Big Bear with no hesitation! From the get-go, Alex was a pleasure to collaborate with. He answered my many questions and never made me feel annoying. Also, on a side note, he was very genuine and empathetic to what was happening in my husband's family. Unfortunately, my husband lost his mom a couple months before the wedding. I am sharing this information because Alex embedded personal touches into our cinematic event film that honored my husband's mother. It was extremely heartwarming, and my husband's eyes still fill with water when he watches the video. At the end of the day, the fact that our 10 min cinematic film makes my husband and I cry means that he did a phenomenal job. We knew the video was going to come out great, but it exceeded our expectations. It truly captured a snapshot of our wedding day and exactly who we are as a couple. Alex and his team didn't push us either....they let us enjoy our day and nothing felt forced. I feel like that's important because the day goes by so quick! He just went with the flow and let us do our thing. I spoke with so many videographers and immediately knew Alex was the one because of his beautiful work, professionalism, and dedicated personal care to make our day perfect. Our wedding had a lot of logistics throughout a long day, and Alex's team did an excellent job in helping us stay organized and on schedule. He made us feel so calm and had amazing creative ideas for stunning shots! We had a long wishlist and they captured every single thing we wanted: Alex truly wants to make sure every important moment is captured -- especially our private last dance at the end of the night.
Ultimately, Alex's work speaks for itself. I hold our videos so dear to my heart, and he edited everything so beautifully - he does a great job of maintaining his creative style while also catering to each couple. His packages are SO great too: we got a social highlight, a 8-10 min feature film, and then a 60-minute film of the entire night (along with all our raw footage!). We have nothing but great things to say about Alex and his team! He was extremely easy to work with and leading up the wedding day, we had no issues with communicating about what we wanted and our vision. The days before the wedding, we realized that we needed to have more coverage on the day of so we reached out to Alex and he had no issues accommodating our request. On the day of the wedding, it went so smoothly and we're so grateful that Alex was very professional. He has definitely done many weddings and knows what he's doing. Our wedding planner coordinated with Alex to make sure we followed our timeline and I can honestly say that I never had to worry about where Alex was or what he was doing. After the wedding, Alex was able to give us our one minute teaser trailer after a week and it was so awesome!! I must have watched it 100 times. We received our 10 minute trailer and 1.5 hour movie 2.5 months after our wedding and my wife and I both teared up watching the videos. They were so amazing and honestly have been on repeat every day since we received the videos. I am amazed at how he was able to edit the films to get the lighting looking great because it was definitely not that perfect on the actual day of our wedding. It blows my mind about how good the quality of the video was. I would highly recommend Alex and his team to all of my friends!!! Alex and his Team were so friendly and professional! When searching for a videographer, we wanted someone we felt like was great at communication and easy to talk to. Alex from the beginning was very detailed with his packages and wasn’t pushy at all. He was prompt at scheduling phone calls and responding to our emails as well as with our wedding planner. Alex did notify us that our day schedule timelines was going to extend our purchased package time of 10 hours, but he easily let us pay for half his hourly rate since we only extended 30 minutes.
Day of – Alex and his team were very friendly greeting us and my wedding party. They made us feel very comfortable and the whole day it felt like they were our friends recording every special moment.
Our teaser, cinematic, ceremony, and speeches films were beyond flawless. Every moment we wanted captured Alex and his team got. During the editing process Alex asked what style we wanted and he nailed it with the footage and music choices. We’re beyond grateful for Alex and his team and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful videographer!

We hired Alex post Covid for our 2020 wedding, only for it to be postponed. Alex, so graciously, worked with our change of dates and locations. Though the wedding video took a bit longer to get, I am guessing due to him having to get caught up due to the multiple weddings he is doing, it was more and we could have imagined. LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE WITH ALEX V FILMS!!! I initially reached out to Alex V to learn about his services as my wife and I weren't sure about getting video of our wedding. But after a few calls, he won us over with his willingness to curate our video to match our wishes. The other thing that struck me is how responsive he was throughout and wiling to connect at our convenience. I really appreciated this.
Another thing you can't see by looking at his videos is how he and his team work the day of the wedding. This SUPER important because you don't want someone who is rude, or not working well with others like the photographer, DJ and venue staff. Alex and his team exceeded expectations here, and worked behind the scenes to coordinate with the photographer. As a couple, you have to give the photographer and videographer some guidance too. For example, my wife and I wanted our first dance to be captured in video so we made sure to tell the photographer that Alex should get "dibbs" on the best angles even if the photos come out ok. This wasn't a problem at all and Alex and our photographer worked well to get us incredible video and shots.
His videos are amazing and we love ours! It's something you can see on your own in his website, but you don't often read much about the little things that make your wedding go smoothly. He goes above and beyond in this department!

You only get to make this choice once, and it can be scary, but if you choose Alex V Films for your wedding, you'll NEVER regret that decision. We knew it would be a good experience based on his website, but we had no idea just HOW GOOD it was going to be! Alex had a vision, and he walked us through it so quickly and comfortably that we barely noticed we were being filmed. He was sensitive to our personal style and quirkiness and made sure to give us a final product that was very "us." Our video felt honest and not "cookie-cutter" in any way. He worked seamlessly with our photographer team to get all special moments in motion.
In addition to the vignettes he set to music for social media, friends and family, he also created a longer form video for us of our entire elopement ceremony for us to enjoy privately for years to come.

Alex V Films will leave you speechless
I’m still speechless & at a loss for words at the amazing wedding video Alex and his team made. I found Alex V Films on wedding wire and looked at his website and loved his cinematography skills and knew he could execute my vision. Alex met with my husband and I to make sure he captured every single thing my husband and I wanted. Alex listened to every detail and really made sure my video was exactly how I had pictured it. Alex has so much faith in knowing he was going to create someone that would take our breath away. Along the way, Alex was so sweet and was always great at responding back to us fast.
To say I am in love with my video is an understatement. Alex took my vision and created something even better than I could have envisioned. I am completely obsessed with my wedding video. I watch it a few times a day because I can’t help myself! Alex truly made the video of my dreams & i’m so lucky to have this video for the rest of my life. We had a Videographer booked months in advance. With two weeks to go to our wedding, we learned that the guy we booked was fraudulent. He was never planning to come to our wedding. Well, Alex V Films to the rescue! Alex had never filmed at our location before, and there were lots of rules that required him to jump through some hoops before we could put him on contract. Alex never hesitated and jumped through those hoops wicked fast, and so we booked him ASAP. It was a sigh of relief after what we went through. With not much planning time and never meeting him in person, Alex and his team did an AMAZING job. He was one time, professional, and worked very well with our photographer to ensure he got his shots and the photographer got his. He even stayed late for us for no extra charge to capture our cake cutting (we were running late). He delivered our short video clip (8-10 minutes) in less than a month (!) before he promised and we also got all of our raw footage on a hard drive. In the end, we couldn't have been happier with our choice. He understood our situation, made us feel that we were in good hands, and then ultimately delivered. Oh, and he has a drone (huge bonus)!

My advice if you’re looking for a Videographer...STOP LOOKING NOW & book Alex V! Where do we begin?!? Alex V was phenomenal in every sense of the word! From the very first message we sent him, Alex was attentive, receptive and so open. We reached out to Alex V about 2 weeks before our wedding- (super last minute) but despite this, Alex responded quickly and answered our initial questions with ease. We set up a phone call with him to discuss our vision and what we were hoping for for our special day. Alex was so easy going and friendly, answered all of our questions, made suggestions and adjustments without hesitation and we got off the call with him feeling so great about our decision to go with him.
2 weeks later, on our wedding day, Alex and his crew arrived on time and immediately went to work on looking at the venue and getting shots before the wedding. To be honest, throughout the day, it felt more like we had close friends with us than just “hired videographers”. Always with a smile on their faces, they interacted and worked so well with literally all of our guests, vendors and especially with our photographers.
Now, flash forward to after the wedding and to our highlight video...After the wedding, I wholeheartedly felt 100% confident that we would have a great video, but when we received it and watched it for the 1st time, I literally cried. They BY FAR exceeded our already high expectations!!! It was perfect in every way! They captured so many moments without us even realizing they were filming- the story telling, the little key family moments they caught, the video music choice, truly everything about the overall video was amazing. I can go back and watch my fairy tale day unfold over and over, and I am forever grateful that I will be able to remember our special day in such a beautiful way!!

"Our experience with Alex and his team was above and beyond our expectations! From the beginning Alex was very concerned with understanding our vision for our video and what shots we wanted, the types of shots we liked, and even what we wanted to avoid having in our video. On the day of our wedding his team was prompt, professional, and very hard working. They captured all of the moments most important to us and did so in a professional manner. When we got our wedding video back, we were blown away—my wife was just sobbing happy tears saying “It’s so beautiful! It’s so beautiful!” They somehow managed to capture all of our favorite moments flawlessly, the rhythm of the editing of the video was entertaining and charming, and we absolutely loved their music choices. I will say that my wife is one of the pickiest people I know when it comes to videos and what she likes so to have her stamp of approval on it really does speak volumes. I must have showed her a dozen other videographers and she really didn’t like the finished products on these videographers websites or didn’t feel like the video crew really cared about her vision for her wedding and were on auto-pilot. Alex and his team was very invested in making sure we had the videography experience we dreamed of and that he prioritized our wants and needs and that is what put him and his team head and shoulders above everyone else we looked at. We are extremely happy to have chosen Alex to be our videographer for our wedding! Alex and Justin did such an amazing job on our wedding day, from helping our large wedding party (20 people) rally to different photo locations and working with our photographer to guiding my husband and I through different poses (as we're both not great in front of a camera). We could easily tell they knew what they were doing and fully trusted their vision.
Alex did such a beautiful job on our wedding videos, from the teaser and edited ceremony footage to the full highlight video. I must have watched all of them at least 5 times now and they will definitely be on replay for a very long time!
