Pure Artistry!

Wow! Jenny and Rick truly know how to work under pressure as we couldn't get our final seating chart finalized until crunch time. The result: absolutely gorgeousness of an oversized seating chart mirror that even children were marveling at their names spelled out the most beautifully they have ever seen. The artistry and design is by far the most superior of any calligrapher out there.

Mirrored Seating Chart and Welcome Sign

Easy to work with professionals

I found Just Write Studios through Instagram and was immediately obsessing over their calligraphy and seating mirrors. I reached out to Jenny about engraving a set of champagne flutes, which turned out beautiful and in perfect condition. Later, Jenny and I discussed wedding programs and place cards - both were a last minute discussion on my part due to budget. Jenny quickly sent over a few drafts, edited based on my comments and Rick printed them just in time to meet my deadline. The Muffler's were a pleasure to work with and their product is beyond beautiful. If you're looking to have that meaningful & professional touch added to your event, don't hesitate to contact their studio!

Worth every penny!

Jenny was invaluable in putting the finishing touches on our wedding day to tie the entire look together. I didn't know if I was going to use a calligrapher for our menu cards, church programs, table numbers, etc or just try to find templates online and do it myself. I am so glad I reached out to Jenny - her work was worth every penny and more! Although my concepts seemed rather simple in my head, she was able to walk me through additional ideas and options. Everything turned out beautifully and our guests were so complimentary of her work! It really just added such a personal element to our tables and overall wedding. Jenny also wrapped and organized everything so well, down to the table and seat number of every guest. It was truly impressive and I can't wait to use Just Write Studios for any future projects!

Elegant & Professional

Outstanding invitation design and calligraphy services.

Rick and Jenny were hands down the best of the best. Their patience, design, and expertise were so valued to us while we worked to coordinate all of our vendors together during the wedding planning process. The invitation vision came to life thanks to their hard work and of course, the calligraphy and print work were simply beautiful. I strongly and highly recommend them!

Jenny did a fantastic job addressing the save the dates and the invitations. She was flexible, responded quickly to emails, even while she was on vacation, and was very helpful in picking out the calligraphy style. Due to my hectic schedule, she let me mail the envelopes to her instead of dropping them off and shipped them back. She also suggested that I send her an invite so she could match up the ink color and style of lettering. Pricing is exactly as listed on the website, which was great for my budgeting!

She is also very thorough in reviewing the requests. I accidentally forgot to request return addresses on my invites, but she emailed me to make sure I hadn’t made a mistaken and was able to include the return addresses.

I would definitely use her services again.

I used Jenny to do my invitation envelopes. I had an injury so my father dropped the envelopes off. I even had 3 more handwritten people to add. Wasn't a problem. She was great about emailing me with questions and suggestions. Once I get the count of who is coming to the wedding, definitely want her to do the escort cards!

Jenny and Rick of JWS are amazingly talented! They did calligraphy for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception (place cards, escort cards, table numbers, signature drink sign, favor sign, and a spectacular welcome mirror on a stunning stand for our guests as they arrived at our reception). They were wonderful partners and gave us excellent suggestions and guidance as we made our selections. Everything was beautifully and perfectly crafted and delivered on time. Jenny and Rick even picked up on some mistakes in our guests and table lists, and also posed important, clarifying questions that we had overlooked. Their gorgeous calligraphy work made our events even more memorable and added a very special, unique touch to our celebrations. I cannot wait to work with them again! Thanks so much, Jenny and Rick!!

Where do I begin? From the first email exchange to the last second replacement envelope, Jenny and Rick were superb! Not only are they both amazingly talented, they are wonderful people! Friendly, kind, easy to work with...not to mention personable. It was like meeting old friends for the first time! Customer service and satisfaction are their priority and they nailed it! Jenny and Rick did an AMAZING job on our table name cards and guest table placement cards! They were absolutely perfect for our beach wedding and fit right in which helped make our special day even more beautiful! They provide top notch customer service and a quick turn around time. The price point was great too and they are so easy to work with! You definitely get more than what you pay for and their attention to world class customer service as well as beautiful calligraphy will make you not want to pass them up! Jenny and Rick are such an outstanding team and are always very prompt in answering your questions/emails/calls. I cannot recommend them enough. I would definately recommend using JWS. Jenny and Rick were so easy to work with and were very helpful in the creation of my wedding suite. Jenny addressed the wedding invitations for our daughter's wedding reception as well as the escort cards for the event. She has perfected the most beautiful calligraphy I've ever seen and provides many different fonts from which to choose. After we received such rave reviews when our guests received their invitations, we decided to use her services again for the escort cards. All correspondence was done via email, which was convenient and efficient. I would most definitely hire Just Write Studios for any future calligraphy needs and highly recommend their services.

I had Jenny do the signage for my wedding because her calligraphy was so to die for I knew that it would be the perfect way to provide a warm and inviting look for guests. Jenny and her husband's work is phenomenal and their service is outrageous too!!!! So professional, responsive, and easy to work with. We found Jennifer at Just Write Studios from a friend who had used her calligraphy services earlier in the year we were married. Initially, I didn't think we had the calendar time to employ her beautiful work, but when she responded and worked with us to receive and complete the calligraphy for the addressing of the invitations within only a few days I was amazed. Her work was beautiful and so many of our friends and wedding guests commented how beautiful the calligraphy was! We highly recommend her services!

Jenny and Rick are absolutely amazing. They did some calligraphy for my sister's wedding in 2010, and we knew we just HAD to use them for mine as well, even though my wedding was in New York. They ended up doing our invitation envelopes, menus, programs, placecards, table signs and our special signature drink sign. The signature drink sign (done in white ink on a mirror) ended up being my favorite "item" from our entire wedding. They simply do amazing work! I absolutely loved the entire suite of items they did for us. They found an absolute perfect calligraphy font for me and so understood the look I was going for. And on top of all of that, they were very easy to work with, nice, responsive, gracious...truly the entire package. Thank you Jenny and Rick for helping to make my wedding so wonderful!

I cannot say enough great things about Just Write Studios! Jennifer and Rick were amazing to work with, and going above and beyond seems to be their typical way of doing things! They created a custom calligraphy font and color to match my invitations perfectly. They were gorgeous, and completed with such a fast turnaround.

They also created custom programs to match my invitations, and the design, layout, and everything was just perfect with an impeccable level of attention to detail. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out, and they are also lovely people who were easy to work with!

I cannot recommend Jenny and Rick highly enough. When I first saw Jenny's beautiful work, I fell in love with it and feared that it would be beyond our budget. Jenny worked with me to find a way to make it affordable (flat printing, card stock paper) and we ended up paying equal if not less to what we would have paid by going through a discount website. Her work is beautiful and I know that we will frame our invitations because they will grace our home like a work of art. If you are on the fence about hiring a calligrapher for your invitations or envelopes, I say go for it. It is one of the few parts of wedding planning that the bride can outsource and the beauty will pay dividends. Several of my guests told me that they kept their save the date envelopes because her work was that pretty. On a more practical note, both Jenny and Rick were very professional and easy to work with. If you communicate your dream and vision, they will make it happen! They even found a way to do all of our place cards for our wedding with next to no heads up during the height of wedding season. We'll forever be grateful for their hard work and talent. We used them for everything from the save the dates to the rehearsal dinner to the reception table numbers. This is also a way to tie your whole event together and add class without breaking the bank. My one bit of advice would be to choose your font wisely and to choose a font based off of your wedding's theme as opposed to your daily personal preference. I also highly recommend getting a monogram because you'd be surprised by all of the places where you could use it (ceremony program, reception menu). It adds a very nice touch and adds light fun to the stress of wedding planning.

Just Write Studios did an amazing job with our wedding invitations, and many additional day of decor items and stationary. From the beginning it was such a pleasure to work with Jenny and Rick. They listened to our ideas and made many helpful suggestions. Our wedding invitations were absolutely gorgeous, exactly what we wanted. They created a stunning mirror escort board display, which even weeks after our wedding I can't stop starring at how beautiful it is. As we are an international couple they made chair back signs in the shape of both our countries that couldn't have been more perfect. In addition they made us beautiful gift/ cards signs, cigar bar signs, and table number signs. We got so many compliments for all of the work they did for us, I highly recommend their services.

I adore jenny and rick. They were so easy to get to know and they provided fantastic service. They are very creative and go out of their to provide it. Everyone who received their invites mentioned that they did not want to ruin their invites because of the beautiful work. Also, the groomsmen loved their liquor bottles that were engraved.

Best quality for reasonable prices.

I worked with Just Write Studios on three different occasions and recommend them highly! They are responsive, friendly, and will get things back to you when promised. Surprisingly, they can also match invitation ink, style, and font! I have referred them on several occasions and will continue to in the future. You won't find better caligraphers!

Jennifer addressed about 100 envelopes for our wedding invitations. Her work is absolutely beautiful and she's a pleasure to work with. When I visited her home to talk about what I needed, she and her husband were so warm and welcoming and I knew I wanted to give them my business.

The prices were reasonable for the beautiful work she does. Yes, this is an added cost but in my opinion it was worth it. My envelopes were gorgeous and I know gave my guests a great first impression of the wedding. Attention to detail is important! I had many guests comment on "how pretty the envelopes were." Envelopes aren't generally given that much attention, but when they are as perfect and gorgeous as what Jennifer gave us, they get noticed and it speaks volumes about the event you are planning.

I also worked with Jennifer for my table numbers. I ordered paper from etsy and had her do the numbers in a similar style I had seen online. She worked around a difficulty she had with the ink bleeding, and you never would have known it. She made it work for me. The numbers were gorgeous on the tables.

I highly recommend Just Write. You won't regret it!

Jenny and her husband Rick are a dream team. They created timelines and programs for our ceremony and welcome bags and they also did calligraphy for our reception escort and place cards, and for drink dispensers for our ceremony. The calligraphy was pretty and all was delivered in a very timely manner, but the true standout was the unique and beautiful designs they created for our timelines and programs. They were stunning and truly in keeping with the theme we had built for the event. They really captured the essence of our multicultural wedding and the timelines and programs that they created are some of my favorite paper from our event.
They are also very responsive and great to brainstorm with.

I had an amazing experience with Jennifer and her husband who were extremely responsive to all of my questions and e-mails. Her shop was close to my office so it was easy and accessible for me to drop off my supplies and pick up the completed project. Jennifer made place cards, table numbers and a beautiful program chalkboard for me. I even misspelled one of our guest's names and she overnighted me the correct card. Her artistic ability and cheerful attitude toward her love of what she does really made the experience of working with Just Write Studios an absolutely success! Jenny did an impeccable job on calligraphy for my wedding. More than a few of our guests called when they received their invitations to tell us how beautiful the calligraphy looked. I was astonished at Jenny's efficiency and the beautiful work she did for us. She also did our escort cards, place cards, and a few signs on mirrors for the day of the wedding. All were gorgeous and classy touches to the day. Jenny and Rick could not have been more kind, gracious, and pleasant to deal with throughout the process. I know some people let the computer do this work, but it is nowhere near the quality and beauty of hand calligraphy. I am so glad I had the chance to work with Jenny and could not recommend her more highly.

Just Write Calligraphy was one of the most important vendors for my wedding. Jenny addressed all of the envelopes for our invitations and the place cards, as well as creating several signs for the wedding including a massive menu on a mirror. She gave me great, creative suggestions when I was stumped, and worked with me to perfect my ideas. Her attention to detail really made the reception special. She was also incredibly quick in her turn around and very flexible with her time.

Jenny and Rick were incredible, going above and beyond not only to ensure that the invitations were exactly what we wanted, but that the escort cards, menus, ceremony pamphlets, and decorations came together to create an incredible atmosphere on our special day. Apart from being incredibly gifted and talented both calligraphers and engravers, Jenny and Rick are phenomenal people who show an immense amount of care to the people they work with. I could not speak more highly of them and would recommend them to anyone looking to add that special touch to their big day.

Jenny, the owner of Just Write Studios, was AMAZING to work with! Let me start by saying that I am not the type of person to sign on with a vendor without first meeting them or getting a recommendation from someone. However, I was looking for a calligrapher in the Baltimore area and could not find what I was looking for - most offered just one or two fonts that didn't match my personal style or needs. Searching further, I came across Just Write Studios, and just by looking at Jenny's website (her website is beautifully designed!), and wedding wire reviews, I knew she would be great. First of all, Jenny has a TON of unique and beautiful fonts to select from - you will be able to find a font for ANY type of event you are having, and, color ink (aside from metallic) is free! I actually liked two fonts so much that I couldn't make up my mind between the two. I asked Jenny for samples of the fonts and she even sent them in the royal purple color I was looking to have my envelopes addressed it - its those small details that really make certain vendors like Just Write Studios stand out. Also, Jenny is incredibly great with email, and, she is so flexible! She was willing to set aside a day from her January project to get my envelopes addressed, and, I had the envelopes back at my apartment in just one week!! So, look no further -- box up your envelopes and mail them to Jenny (they will come back packaged nicer than you sent them).

Jenny at Just Write Studios was incredible to work with. We needed wedding signage, menus, and programs and we couldn't have been happier! I met Jenny at an area wedding show and she did gorgeous work on the spot that evening. Still, I didn't anticipate having a need for calligraphy, but when we had to come up with a Plan B for escort cards the week before our wedding she responded very quickly and was flexible in fitting us into her schedule. She also ended up writing on a Polaroid photo prop cut out. She has an amazing selection of fonts to choose from and she kept in touch to make sure all the details for font, color, and layout on the cards was clear. Her work is truly art - just absolutely gorgeous. Such a great touch to welcome guests into the reception and I would definitely work with her for any special invitations or events again in the future.

I can't say enough about how great she is. Jenny did an absolutely wonderful job with our outer envelopes and table place cards. They were done beautifully. Jenny matched the font style with our wedding invitations. It definitely brought elegance to the invitations. She was so much fun (had the chance to meet her in person when I dropped off the envelopes at her place) and easy to work with. She took care of all the last minute changes with ease. Her prices were very reasonable given her level of talent and professionalism. I highly recommend Just Write Studios to anyone looking for high quality, reasonable price, and excellent customer service calligrapher!

Being a calligrapher myself, I can attest to the excellent quality of Jenny's work. Due to discomfort in my hands, I was unable to address my third daughter's wedding invitations, as I had for my two other daughter's weddings. Jenny was able to complete them most beautifully, in the agreed upon time frame, with only one mistake, which she promptly corrected. I even added on a couple of addresses after the fact and she promptly handled them with complete calm and graciousness. All the recipients have commented on how lovely the invitations are. We will be returning to Jenny in a short while to do our escort cards and other items for the wedding day.

Wow—Jenny was GREAT! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with using a calligrapher…mostly not sure how long it would take. Jenny was sooo easy to work with. She had so many fantastic “fonts” to pick from…we are soo happy with the end result. She accommodated our busy schedule allowing us to drop off our invitations early. She was flexible when we added a few addresses after sending her our main list. I could believe our 70ish invitations were done in 3 days…maybe it was 2. It was fast!! Our invitations looked so classy and were the perfect final elegant touch to achieve the look and feel we wanted. Oh…and the price was GREAT! Totally worth it!!! I highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking to make their invitations set the right tone for their big day!

JustWrite provided all of the day of paper details for our June 28, 2014 wedding - this included hand calligraphy for all table placecards, bar, dessert and guest book signage - as well as an amazing escort list (table assignment) chart that was painted by hand onto a mirror (in lieu of escort cards)...Jenny was amazing - super flexible considering our tight deadlines and also a wonderful collaborator to produce that "just right" effect in terms of color and style for all of our pieces so that they coordinated with our letterpress invitation designs. I would absolutely come to her again for any of my future calligraphy/design needs the next time we celebrate a special occasion!

I don't even know where to start - - Jenny contacted me within 24 hours of an initial inquiry. We set up a date for me to get the envelopes to her and for the work to be done. She has a great template for putting in the names, addresses, etc which made the entire process so easy. I screwed up the addresses on a couple of the envelopes and didn't notice it until got home with the finished envelopes. Jenny was so understanding and within a couple of days had the corrected envelopes ready for me to pick up. The work is without comparison. Just about everyone who has received an invitation has called or emailed me about how impressed they are with the calligraphy. Once I have the confirmed guests I will be back in touch with her for the placecards. I can't say enough about how friendly she is, how professional and just how great Jenny is...so much that I referred a friend who Jenny is also helping to make her wedding an unforgettable event.

I had less than 10 invitations for which I wanted calligraphy on the outside envelopes. Most calligraphers will not accept orders as small as mine. Jenny was willing to take my order and did beautiful work. We communicated via email and I received prompt responses on my inquiries. She did an outstanding job and returned the envelopes quickly. I had a gold pocket watch for my son's grad gift. No locals wanted/could do the extensive engraving. I reached out to a local calligrapher who knew Jenny Muffler at Just Write. I contacted her. Sent photos of the watch. She said she could do it. The grad was 6/1 and there were many tears and gasps over the finished product. One word... WOW. I am SO impressed with your work, and so is my fiance, George. I am a graphic designer and the invitations have been a little bit of a pet project, working with another amazing designer friend of mine. I was so excited to work with Jenny on my wedding envelopes! I'm a wedding planner and have enjoyed Just Write Studio's work for a very long time. Our envelopes looked AMAZING! Every time I went to the post office, random people would stop me to comment on how lovely they were. Our guests loved them as well and many people told us they saved the envelope or put it on their fridge. The style of my wedding invitation envelopes seemed to cause challenges for many area print shops that a wedding planning anxiety attack was about to come on strong. I was running up against a very tight timeline as we're planning a destination wedding and was super lucky to find Jenny Muffler on the Washington Calligraphers Guild website. I gave a her a call and she was extremely friendly and was so flexible in doing a rush order on my wedding envelopes. She had amazing customer service and reassured me that I would have my invitations mailed by my deadline. She finished the job earlier than expected and her work was absolutely beautiful! My fiance and I were told that our invitations were stunning and that the calligraphy was gorgeous and set the mood for such an elegant wedding invitation. I would use Jenny again in a heartbeat!!

I met Jenny this past fall at a winery watching her effortlessly engrave wine glasses upon command. Her hand engraving was steady and beautiful. A few months later, I contacted her 10 days prior to an intimate impromptu wedding to engrave 35 flutes. She responded to my email quickly, cost was reasonable, drop off and pickup was easy and the flutes looked exquisite!! An unexpected kind gesture she did for me was to wait until just prior to the wedding to engrave, because they were calling for

My fiancé and I found Jennifer on a Northern Virginia calligraphers guild; after contacting almost all of them (sending them pictures of my wedding invitations, asking if they could match the font within the invite) Jennifer was not only the nicest calligrapher I had spoken to, but she was very optimistic about matching the font and sent me a sample days later! (She's also much cheaper than the majority!) My guests were blown away. I would suggest Jennifer to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, friendly calligrapher, who will go above and beyond to get your invites perfect!

Jennifer’s calligraphy is awesome – she has lots of different options, lots that are fun and modern. I told her which ones I liked and she looked at my invites and advised me on what she thought would work best and actually adjusted the script to match my invites. Each envelope looks incredible and honestly I may be more obsessed with the envelopes now than I am with my invites.

Jennifer is really easy to work with. She was quick to respond to emails/last minute address change requests and her turnaround time was very fast. While stuffing our invites, my mom and I would stop and comment on each and every one –it was so much fun seeing our friend and family’s names and addresses looking so beautiful. We are also planning on having her do our table numbers/place cards and other wedding materials.

Some unsolicited wedding advice… If it is in your wedding budget I highly recommend having your invites professionally addressed. I spent so long picking out my invites/spent a lot on them – so it is really nice having the outside reflect what is inside. Plus it is a lot of stress removed to have them all look perfect – and not worry about addressing them your self.

Jenny did quite a bit of calligraphy for our wedding day. She designed our invitations, did the place cards, and wrote a couple of signs for the reception. She did a gorgeous job!

She is a dream to work with. Easy to chat with, a good listener, quick, and professional. I'd recommend her without reservations.

Simply put, Jenny's work is phenomenal. She has a wonderful aesthetic and really understands the styles most popular in weddings these days. I used her to address my invitations and was thrilled with her work. Instead of me simply providing the name of the font that I wanted to use, Jenny invited my fiancé and I into her home office and spent time learning about our event and looking at our invitations. Jenny whipped together a look that was very fun, but elegant and she didn't tack on any extra charges for the personalization. Also, to help with the inevitable last minute additions to the guest list, Jenny hangs onto extra envelopes and is very flexible about squeezing in some additional work when needed.

Four months later, despite my better judgment, I used a different calligrapher for my escort cards and signage that my paper products vendor worked with. The quality of work and overall look and feel didn't even hold a candle to Jenny's previous work. A week and half prior to my wedding (in the week between Christmas and New Years!) I contacted Jenny to see if she could squeeze in a last minute job to re-do all the escort cards and signs. Jenny was wonderfully accommodating and was able to get all the work done with time to spare!

Please don't hesitate to work with Jenny. I received countless compliments about Jenny's work and I was so thrilled to know that my guests noticed the little extras that I put so much thought into. Jenny's prices are incredibly reasonable and simple to understand, and in the scheme of all your wedding expenses, the small additional expense of calligraphy really makes a big impact to your the overall feeling of your event.

Jenny at Just Write Studios was amazing! She addressed my invitations and place cards for my wedding, and they looked so lovely! I received so many compliments from guests about how beautiful the invitations and place cards looked! Jenny was also super flexible and easy to work with. I was working on the guest list up until the last minute, and she was very understanding and even made time to add a few additional names for me. I really can't say enough positive things about her, and would highly recommend her to anyone considering her.

I would absolutely recommend Just Write Studios to anyone looking for the extra special touch for an event! Jenny addressed the invitations for my wedding and they look so beautiful. She went the extra mile to match the color perfectly to the invitations and I could not find a single mistake. Not only is her work impeccable, she was prompt and communicative! We cannot praise Jenny enough for the amazing job she did for our wedding. Our wedding planner (Pam Barefoot) urged us to hire Jenny after we explained how much we love calligraphy and how we wanted to use it as much as possible in our wedding. Not only did Jenny do the calligraphy for our envelopes, place card, escort cards, but she also designed AND printed the menus, napkins, and wedding programs. She also did the calligraphy, design, and print for various signage (both LARGE and small) throughout our ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Beautiful work and very responsive!
Just Write Studio provided some of the best calligraphy I've ever seen. Their work was beautiful and always delivered on time. In addition to addressing our invitations, the Studio also created our seating chart, and was incredibly flexible in accommodating our last minute edits.

I had Jenny at Just Write Studios do the calligraphy for my invitations. Our invitations were thick so we had thin boxes to put them in and most companies couldnt do calligraphy on them. Jenny did them with no problem and did a better job then I could ever imagine. We received non-stop compliments, most people couldn't believe it was hand-done! They were so gorgeous, I had Jenny do our place cards for all the guests as well! I have and will recommend Just Write Studios to everyone!

Jenny worked on a lot of the signage for the wedding reception and cocktail hour in addition to the formal invitations. She did amazing work! Jenny is a true professional doing all that she can to complete each task in a timely fashion. She actually 'saved' us a number of times...I would use her talents again in a heartbeat

I got SO many compliments on my wedding invitations! Jenny was so sweet to work with - I had about 20 invites to add at the last minute, and she was so calm and easy to help me turn them around quickly. Jenny addressed my save-the-date postcards for my wedding, and even squeezed me in somewhat last-minute! She will be addressing my invitations in January also. Her work is gorgeous and I got a lot of compliments on how the postcards looked! I live in Washington, DC, so it was easy to drop off and pick up the save-the-dates at her home in Rockville, MD. She even popped my corrections in the mail for me so I wouldn't have to go back up to Rockville (I sent her some stamps). Very professional, timely and helpful!
