Just Lago saved the day! Last minute, our original hair and makeup company scammed us and I only had two months to find a replacement company. Just Lago quickly got me in for a trial and the day of the wedding they completed all our hair and makeup even with one “man” down due to sickness. We had a short time to get ready in the bridal suite and 7 people to have full hair and makeup done on! They did it and it came out beautiful! Thank you! -

Loved Dana!
Dana did the hair for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day and she did a great job! We all wanted really different styles and Dana and her assistant nailed every one of them! We tried one style at the trial (and my engagement photos), and when I decided I wanted to do something else for the day of, we did another trial and it was perfect. On the day of, she was prompt and brought such great energy into the room. I loved having Dana on the team and would definitely recommend her! -

Love Dana!
I loved having Dana and her crew at Just Lago do the hair and make up for my wedding! I was nervous at first about the timeline of the morning but Dana was very accommodating to my wedding day schedule and made sure she had enough people to get everything done in time. My bridesmaids, mom and I all looked beautiful. I was complimented on my “boho braid” many times and my make up was natural just like I wanted. It was nice to connect with Dana at my bridal trial before hand so I felt fully comfortable beforehand. I definitely would recommend Just Lago to any bride who wants to feel super chill and easy going on their wedding morning! -

Dana is a literal angel. If you are looking for someone who is fantastic at what they do, truly listens to what you want, is reliable, and will keep you relaxed the entire time, please book Dana immediately! Not only was I not stressed at all the day of my wedding, I was honestly vibin' (which is pretty difficult for me because my anxiety is always in overdrive!). Dana absolutely listened to what I wanted (an elevated natural look) and I felt truly beautiful on my wedding day. She arrived right on time and her kindness and warmth was just what was needed for the start of the day! I even changed my hair the morning of and she was so patient and kind. She was fantastic with my bridal party's make-up and hair and my mom's! She listened to what everyone was looking for and brought their dream looks to life. Everyone had a great time with Dana and could not have said enough good things about her! She also went above and beyond, even helping my mom with buttoning the back of my dress when it was time and keeping me sane when another vendor was running late. I could not say enough good things about her and could not recommend her enough!! -

I had Bri and Annalise for my wedding day in La Jolla! They were incredible and brought the chill vibes into the room. Everyone got along with them so well, and they nailed everyone's hair/makeup visions. They did 7 hair styles, 4 makeups, 2 lashes, and my bridal hair/makeup all in under 6 hrs! Annalise was so sweet to even give me the lip gloss for touch ups later in the night. My entire bridal party and the moms were in love with their natural looks, and I was so happy with how mine turned out as well. It was exactly how I envisioned it, and I still felt like myself :)

When selecting a hair and makeup team for my wedding day, I would have never imagined the group would be as fun AND talented as Dana and the Just Lago gals! Not only are these women incredibly gifted, but getting ready with my favorite girls alongside the Just Lago team was SO MUCH FUN - just what a bride needs on her wedding day! I selected Just Lago based on their rave reviews and ability to use natural makeup products as I have sensitive skin. I can honestly say the experience - from the trial to wedding day - was seamless, enjoyable and the results were just incredible. Every one of the ladies in my wedding looked so gorgeous and we couldn't have done it without Just Lago. My girls even brought inspiration photos for hair and makeup and the Just Lago team NAILED every single one. My own bridal makeup was stunning - I wanted to look like myself, but a little glam, and Just Lago truly outdid themselves. I felt beautiful and confident, AND the makeup stayed put throughout the night. I would absolutely recommend Dana and her team to ANY bride/bridesmaid group. I was so happy to find Dana! She brings the best vibes and energy into the room. Not only is she a great light to be around, she is so talented. 10/10 would recommend Just Lago for your wedding services! Dana and her staff bring great energy into the room and take away the worry of getting ready. They are fun, professional, and very experienced. Dana also comes with an extremely special background in holistic wellbeing, this is her unique edge that other companies don't provide.
I happily selected Dana and one of her staff to do both my hair and my 8 bridesmaids hair for my big day. She's on time and kept a smile on her face throughout all the changes going on in the day. I had Dana cut and style my hair about two weeks prior to my wedding day, which helped it shine for the day of. I would highly recommend doing the additional services Dana provides, i.e. massages the day before, yoga the morning of the big day, etc. to help get your mind and body in a calm, collected state to truly enjoy a fantastic day! -

Where to begin with Dana - she is beaming with positive energy and light - exactly what every bride dreams of for their big day! We started our day with a Mindful Gathering (yoga, sage clearing, intention setting, and aromatherapy), which totally set the stage for the rest of the day. All my girls LOVED the experience and it gave us an opportunity to slow down and connect. Dana then took us to do everyone's hair + makeup, and we all agreed in addition to the BEAUTIFUL job she did, we were all feeling our most confident selves! Dana highlights natural beauty and you can tell she's having a blast doing it. I couldn't imagine a better experience getting ready for my day! -

I’m heartbroken to write this, but I want to share my experience in hopes it helps other brides. I hired this company for my wedding makeup and was initially hopeful after booking my first trial. Unfortunately, the first look didn’t feel like a “bridal” look at all—more like everyday makeup—and certainly not what I envisioned for such a special day.
Wanting to give it another chance, I scheduled a second trial just a week before my wedding, hoping we could get it right. Sadly, the second trial was even more disappointing. The makeup was poorly executed and completely missed the mark again. I left that appointment in tears, feeling even more anxious and uncertain just days before walking down the aisle.
I reached out to the company, hoping for understanding or at least a willingness to adjust or collaborate on a solution. Instead, I was met with rigidity and zero flexibility. For something as personal and emotional as a wedding, the lack of compassion and support was incredibly disheartening.
Ultimately, I decided not to move forward with their services on my big day. I couldn’t trust that I would feel confident, beautiful, or cared for—and no bride should have to feel that way.
This was a deeply personal and disappointing experience. I hope this feedback encourages the company to better support future brides and listen more closely to their clients’ needs.
