I don't really like cake, so I looked around for someone who could make me a brownie cake. Libby was the only one who said she could do it. And I'm glad she did because it was the absolute best brownie I have ever had. Very dense and moist and just perfect! -

Paper Cake Events came under high recommendation and I can certainly tell you that Whitnie is deserving of so! We were late in the game of establishing our cake vendor but since we were only doing a wedding cake, she made an exception for us and we were so grateful! Our tasting was incredible as the cake options were so full of flavor and perfectly plated, which made it a little difficult for our decision (which isn’t a bad thing whatsoever) but we finally made our selection. Whitnie was very helpful and extremely accommodating to our preferences when it came down to cake selection, design, etc. I can surely tell you that we spent the next 11 months craving our cake and even bragging about how great it was going to be because we were so excited to have everyone enjoy Whitnie’s magic. The cake was an absolute hit at our wedding and we were lucky enough to be her second to last wedding cake. We’re full of gratitude and extremely happy with Paper Cake Events! -

Just Baked was amazing! We have been frequenting this bakery for years so we knew Libby had to do our desserts for the wedding. She made a wonderful dessert bar and our decadent cutting cake. Our guests loved the variety of flavors and are still talking about how delicious our desserts were. Delivery and setup was perfect. Everything looked beautiful. Thank you! -

We booked Just Baked SLO as part of working with Gusto on the Go for our Wedding day and was blown away by how beautiful and delicious the desserts came out. The swiss meringue buttercream on our wedding cake held up perfectly and I love how it tasted, not too sweet and very light. ALL of our guests loved the tiramisu cups and tarts. We went to their shop in Santa Margarita months before the wedding to taste the cake flavors and they were really helpful! -

Whitnie is truly an artist, her displays were gorgeous as was each one of her desserts she made for our wedding. She tied in the colors and vibe of our boho, jewel-toned wedding into the smallest details. Not to mention her desserts were fantastic! She made 3 custom macaroon flavors which were my favorite. However the CAKE was the show stopper, she literally went all out for us and blew us away with the design which tied in with our floral design. I didn't even have time towards the end of my wedding to go over the details of our cake or desserts, so when we arrived at the reception we were floored at how amazing and perfect things looked! We are so lucky to have hired Whitnie for this special moment in our lives! -

I couldn't have imagined a better cake! It was beautiful, huge, and tasted great! Just what I asked for. When I thought of what it would look like, I knew it would be beautiful because of their fantastic work, but it really exceeded expectations all around! Not only did Just Baked SLO provide incredible desserts for our wedding, they also made a permanent fan in me and my wife. Their desserts are delicious, their cake designs nothing short of perfection, and the quality was top notch. Many compliments from our guests later, we had to tell everyone where to go to to get one more cookie, one more cupcake... Would work with them again in a heartbeat. -

Absolutely will use this company again
My now husband and I used this company to do our cake and cupcakes and it was hands down delicious. So much so we had nothing left at the end of the nice ! Libby and all the girls were so awesome and catered to e everything I asked :) We plan on using them again forsure! -

There aren't enough words to capture how we feel about our wedding cake. It was probably the most important part of the wedding for me (aside from the ceremony...) and I wanted it to be a show stopper. Whitnie and Casey blew away every expectation I ever had. I asked them to create something INSANE and they produced the most incredible sketch. But then the cake itself? Surpassed every expectation we had. It was five tiers of intricate details and design work, and it was perfect.
We had a special reveal of our cakes before our reception dinner. The first time I laid eyes on that epic beauty - I literally squealed and ran over to it. It was so far beyond my dreams!! I almost cried. We also did a reveal of the surprise grooms cake to my new husband - he was blown away by it. They designed a chocolate cake honoring his love of the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins - and it was so perfect he refused to cut it until we got home.
Even more impressive than how the cake looked was how it tasted. Our friends couldn't stop shoveling cake in their mouths - they wanted to try everything! We gave slices to go that night, and brought some of the leftover cake to brunch the next day. People were fighting over which of the four flavors they could have. Every flavor was better than the next! And everyone agreed it was the best wedding cake they'd ever tasted.
Whitnie and Casey are so incredible, talented, and sweet. I emailed them a ton and they always got back to me so fast, and were so kind.
It was such an honor to be a Paper Cakes couple. I'll find every excuse possible to see these two ladies and order more incredible desserts. If you're lucky enough to get on their calendar, you are in for the cake of your lives. -

Cannot say enough about the amazing Paper Cake Events!! They made everything so much fun and seamless!! Everything from the tasting the the actually wedding day! The guests were all raving about the incredible desserts and cake!! Such a beautiful presentation!! Highly, highly recommend!! -

Tiffani Sent on 07/10/2018We had the absolute best experience for our wedding here. We chose to do a dessert bar and a smaller cutting cake for the groom and I. We had a great selection of flavors and treats to choose from and we received so many compliments from our guests about the desserts! The cutting cake was EXACTLY what I had asked for and turned out beautiful. I could not have asked for more. Your vendors really do make your day easier and Just Baked was no exception to this. Extremely professional and delivered a beautiful product and a reasonable price as well!

Katelyn Sent on 04/20/2018Paper Cake made us the most beautiful and tasty cake for our wedding! At our tasting, we had a hard time choosing a flavor because they were all so delicious! We ended up going with a lemon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry curd filling. Delicious! I heard from guests that it was the best wedding cake they’ve had! Thank you so much!

Amanda Sent on 07/14/2018Wow, where do we begin? Our wedding cake by Just Baked was absolutely stunning to look at and even better to taste. Libby instantly got our vision and designed the perfect 3 tiered wedding cake. It was so hard choosing flavors (all are delicious), but we went with red devil, lemon, and ollalieberry. Everyone will tell you that there is always leftover cake at weddings and we had none left it was that delicious! We are already dreaming of going back for our anniversary cake. If you can get in, absolutely go with Just Baked, you won’t be disappointed!

Taryn Sent on 01/28/2018Love love LOVED our wedding cake! We wanted a rustic semi-naked cake and Libby and her team nailed it. The flavor offerings are so great at Just Baked. We had four layers and each layer was incredibly unique for a wedding cake and so fresh and delicious. Our guests raved about the flavor varieties! We had such a positive experience with Just Baked. Our tasting appointment was so fun and intimate. We felt like Libby really heard and cared about our wedding cake wishes. Other vendors were quick to tell us something couldn’t be done (such as mixing flavors in a semi-naked cake) and Libby was quite the opposite. We had so much fun working with her and were thrilled with how beautiful our cake turned out. Just Baked will be our go-to bakery for all our future cake/Baked good needs!
