We had a great experience with Just Amrican Desserts.

The cake and cupcakes we got for the wedding were so delicious and it was presented so beautifully. I would recommend this place for anyone celebrating a big day or event.

Our wedding cake was an easy choice because of our previous experiences with Just American Desserts. When it came to our big day we were able to come by and do a cake tasting and try their variety of cakes and fillings. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and supportive of our budget. They are very experienced in what they do and our left-over cake was moist days later. Best tasting in Spokane hands down.

So glad I was able to use Just American Desserts! Very helpful, friendly, attentive to details, and easy to work with.

The tasting was great - as it should be! It was difficult to choose one flavor but they were very helpful in choosing fillings and shapes etc. It was also great that they were willing to work with our florist to place flowers on the cake but they also were willing to use flowers are their cost. Our cake turned out beautifully, on time and in great shape to our wedding venue.

Just saying...you will also be visiting them frequently for all their other cakes after the wedding!

The best wedding cake I have ever had. We had many flavors with my favorites being carrot cake and the poppyseed with lemon filling. We have moved away since and I dream about this cake. The decor on our wedding cake and grooms cake were exactly as we envisioned. Please choose this for your wedding cake. You won't be disappointed

I can not stress enough how exceptional Eva (the owner), and her team at Just American Desserts were during my wedding cake planning. My wedding cake was stunning, and it tasted even better! I have had cake at other events that looked beautiful but tasted horrible. Well that is simply not the case at Just American Desserts. Their cakes are the total package. I honestly can not wait until my one year anniversary to eat my cake again :) In my opinion there are truly no other options for your wedding cake!

Our wedding cake was included in the diamond package at Glover Mansion, so I was worried I would be stuck with a couple of preselected choices. I can gladly say that I was very wrong.

My only limitation was that the cake was the size that fed 100 guests, which is a three tier cake. My husband and I worked with Sue and came up with a custom design to future perfectly with our wedding.

Beyond the pretty designs, the cake is delicious! My mother in law isn't a huge fan of cake and she loved it. They have a variety of cakes and fillings so you can create the flavor you are looking for. We had our bottom tier be white cake with rum raspberry filling, and the second tier be Washington apple cake with hazelnut filling. She only uses cream cheese buttercream frosting, which is my personal favorite.

Our anniversary tier is white cake with lemon filling. I honestly don't think we will be able to wait the year to eat it, it is just too good.

Sue also worked with us to create two surprise cupcakes with a crab design for an inside joke with our officiant. The crab cupcakes were adorable and delicious.

Working with them was a real treat, pun intended! The tasting was so much fun, I felt like I was on a cooking show judging different creations by master bakers.

We will definitely be using their services again, perhaps to bake a new cake for our anniversary so we don't have to wait a whole year!

Our cake was exactly what we wanted, the size was perfect and we even picked it up and delivered it ourselves and there was no issues. Thank you Just American Desserts! Best cake I've ever eaten.

BEST PLACE!!! Eva was so amazing to work with, not to mention her desserts were SO GOOD!! We choose to do 3 varieties of cupcakes for our wedding guests and then a cheesecake for us. We over ordered so had left overs and pretty much our entire cheesecake left over. It was all so good that we boxed it all up and took it home with us, couldn't let the yummy treats go to waste! The cupcakes were to die for, and the icing-YUMMY! Not to sweet at all and very flavorful! And the cheesecake, I can't get enough of!! Best cake ever! I and my hubby now loved the tasting. Our cake was perfect and when our cater messed up they covered them and no one knew the wiser. We saved our top layer for our one year anniversary and it was still so very amazing! Just a classy group of people to work with!

Just American Desserts gave us a great cake tasting experience! My mom and I went in to see what kind of cakes they offered and if we could try some samples of what they had. They're cake is amazing and they let us taste a nice variety of what they offered. Competitive prices and excellent customer service.

When I was deciding who to choose for our wedding cake, choosing Just American Desserts was an easy decision! They are very professional and work with you to make your ideas come to fruition. I met with one of their workers and had several ideas of things I had seen on Pinterest and she worked with me to make the most beautiful cake that didn't break the bank with decorations. Their cake tastes incredible as well. They have a lot of flavors and filling options. I can't wait to eat our cake topper on our anniversary!

Just American Desserts did an amazing job at our wedding in Spokane. They accommodated our special request; such as, regular white and chocolate cake (looked amazing), a gluten free cake that was so yummy, even guests who were not gluten free loved it, and finally, a vegan cake that was also enjoyed. Fantastic and friendly staff made this process so easy and fun.

Absolutely in love with just American Desserts. We had a single small cake and over 200 cupcakes and everyone is still talking about it a week later how good it was. Our cupcakes were a variety I didn't get a chance to try one but our cake was vanilla with coconut filling and I have been eating it all week! Don't want to wait a year for it!:)

Well, Im a bit of a foodie so when it came time for my wedding I really didn't think I could get a great tasting cake....I was proven completely wrong! I had an unusual request for my cake. vanilla butter cake spritz with lemoncello, and layered with fresh lemon curd and the other layer was a lemon butter cake with a mascarpone cheese filling all frosted with buttercream frosting and a amazing delicate flower design. served with a raspberry purred and creme anglais sauce. I went to the tasting not expecting much. WOW... I was sooo excited I couldn't stop talking about it for days. THEN the wedding, my cousin is an award winning pastry chef...HE couldn't stop talking about it. The buttercream melted in your mouth, the crumb was perfect. I can't thank them enough!!!

The cake we got from there was SOOOO good. Literally the best cake ever. The almond poppy seed was my fave. We did that and german chocolate with a smidge of PB. Our cake was also beautiful. A really pretty ombre, three tiered cake that was spatted. It was so perfect!

Just American Desserts did an amazing job with our wedding cake! We met with them in advance for cake tasting and they were very accommodating and helpful. We picked the cake we wanted and the design and flavors were perfect. We were so pleased with our cake on our wedding day and received a lot of compliments on how perfect it was as well. We highly recommend them!

Most importantly, the cake was delicious! They did a great job with the decorations as well. Our wedding colors were purple and gold and the designers worked that into the cake design beautifully. The prices were very reasonable and they were great to work with!

Just American Desserts was so helpful with my cake. I was not able to come in for a tasting because I live on the East Coast but they were able to set up a time for my Mother-In-Law and my Sister-In-Law to come in and do the tasting over Face Time with me. Then they were kind enough to package up all the cakes so that they could be shipped to us. When the samples arrived, they were still moist and delicious. We had a white cake with lemon custard for the first layer, Washington apple spice cake with a cream cheese filling (with chucks of real apple) for the second layer, and a German Chocolate cake for the top layer. They were also wonderful because they were able to recreate a cake with butter cream frosting that had originally been done with fondant. It was so beautiful.

Our wedding cake from Just American Desserts was not only beautiful it was delicious too! I had provided a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like and it was perfect and the flower placement with my cake topper was the perfect touch. A lot of the bakeries we visited were going to charge extra for different cake flavors but Just American Desserts was great to work with and no extra cost for the three different flavors of cake. We had poppy seed which was a favorite, tuxedo with peanut butter filling that was so yummy and my dads favorite, German chocolate, needless to say the FOB was very happy. Can hardly wait for our 1st anniversary so I can order poppy seed anniversary cake. I'm a customer for Happily Ever After.

They made us the best cake we have ever had! Everyone loved the cake! We added their hand made truffles to the top of each layer and people were almost battling for them, amazing!

We had a rather unique idea for our wedding cake and they took great care of us. The cake was delish and we have plenty left over. Great options and great people to work with. Cake was there before the ceremony, which was nice because we were able to help put all our cake toppers on (we had 10) so they went in the correct place.

Our cake was stunning and delicious!!! it was exactly what I wanted!! Cake tasting was fun and profesional, all questions were answered, great customer service. We also ordered our grooms cake from here and they did a fabulous job!! My husband always asks if we can stop by and get some more cake since they also sell it by the slice. Guests raved about our beautiful cake!!!

I had a wonderful time with Just America Desserts from start to finish!
The employees of the Valley store were extremely hospitable and helpful. They hosted my two friends, my mother and myself. They allowed us to try so many flavors, gave great suggestions and even helped me with my vision of cake decoration. (We chose almond poppyseed cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese buttercream frosting - it was amazing!)
On the day of my wedding, my cake looked better than I had wished and tasted delicious! I also ordered a table full of mini desserts (small and varied individual desserts) and everyone loved the dessert buffet. I still receive complements!

Our wedding cake came as part of the Diamond Package from the Glover Mansion. We were delighted to find out our care would come from Just American Desserts!

They were a pleasure to work with. Our tasting and consultation was great. Our cake was exactly what I wanted. It was impeccably beautiful and so delicious. (When my husband and I got back from our honeymoon we ate some of the top tier. I know, I know, it's supposed to be for the one year anniversary. But we saved the majority of it!)

I got so many compliments on the design and flavor of the cake.

I wanted 6 different types of cupcakes and some with frostings Just American Desserts did not typically make. Well... they made it happen!

They delivered the cupcakes too. I didn't have to haul them. I just walked into my wedding space and there they were. I was so lucky. My caterer (Red Rock Catering aka Glover Mansion Catering) may have made that happen... I'm not really sure. All I know is that everything I wanted was at the venue and set up. It was really great!

The cupcakes tasted awesome. Just American Desserts is the best baker in Spokane. Period.

I cannot think of one critical thing so say about Just American Deserts. They are simply amazing.

Our wedding cake was amazing! Eva did a wonderful job decorating our wedding cake, and the coconut was delicious. Everyone loved the wedding cake and couldn't stop raving about it. Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable! Please book Just American Desserts for your event, you will definitely be satisfied!

The cake was beautiful and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. All of the decorations on the cake were included in the cost, as was the delivery. I couldn't have asked for more.

When I first walked into the place on University in Spokane, WA I was so happy with how they presented themselves. They greeted me fast. We were on a tight budget for our wedding but I knew that I wanted them for my cake after the tasting! They give you a sample plate with some water. WOW was everyone of them delicious!!! Because we were on a tight budget they worked with us to make it all work. They have a mini wedding cake that we had with a sheet cake. They did a wonderful job tying them into each other and making it look amazing. I was afraid that it wouldn't look right, but they had them look amazing together! I had my cousin go back their for our baby shower cake! We will be recommending Just American Desserts to anyone that we talk to!

Try to the Washington Apple cake! Sounds strange, I know, but ours was fabulous, and they were so helpful. And rather than food, we did an array of their mini desserts. It was perfect.

Just American was so very helpful. They were willing to give me exactly the cake I needed. They were more expensive than other bakers in the area but my cake got eaten!! Every year on my anniversary I pick up a sour cream white cake with lemon filling to celebrate. It is wonderful every time. If you like your guests and care what your cake tastes like I strongly recommend that you use Just American. You will not be disappointed

The cake - red velvet, white, and apple walnut - was fantastic.

I wanted a bit of a difficult design on my cake - a celtic knot wrapping around the cake. The owner of Just American admitted it might be difficult to do as it would all have to be done free hand. But in the end while it wasn't perfect, it was awesome ! :)

At first I was dissapointed that Just American doesn't do fondant - but when I was shown how smooth they can make their buttercream appear, I hoped it would turn out the way I wanted. It turned out just beautiful !

I had made my own caketopper which was really fragile and they took really good care of it. The cake design I came up with, between the celtic knot, the ribbon I purchased, and other special requests - never threw them for a loop at all. They were fantastic ! :) Can't wait to eat our top layer on our first anniversary.

Their cake is the best in my opinion. They make their cakes from scratch and you can taste the difference.

When you go and try their cake and then a few days later you find yourself craving it, then you know that's the cake you want.

They do beautiful cakes that taste as good as they look. The only thing I would recommend to save on cost is to do a smaller-tiered cake and then buy sheet cakes from them. They are the exact same cake, but it saved us about half the cost that it would take to do the whole thing tiered.

They really worked with us and what we wanted and helped us get the most bang for our buck. Great people and great cake.

I felt pressured into picking Just American Desserts due to this being a preferred vendor from the Coeur D'Alene Resort, and being required to have to pay an extra serving fee if I chose another cake vendor. Even though I don't like being pressured into anything, I think that this was a good thing. Just American Desserts did a wonderful job with my cake, and I got exactly what I wanted when it came to the design style. Also, the cake was delicious and loved having some many different options to pick from.

I loved Just American Desserts. All of their cakes that we tried at our tasting were delicious! My husband and I had a Disney themed wedding and we wanted our cake to be special and Disney as well. They listened to us our ideas and gave us feedback and helped us come up with a wonderful cake that was just what we wanted. We did three tiers and it turned out beautifully. On the day of our wedding they delivered and set up our cake and we didn't have to worry about anything. Everyone loved the looks of the cake and it tasted amazing! Just what we wanted.

My fiancee and I tried almost every bakery in the greater Spokane region to find our wedding cake and nothing compared to the taste and professionalism we found with Just American Desserts. We were incredibly happy with their flavor selection and willingness to customize our selection to fit our wedding theme. Our cake was gorgeous and our guests raved about the flavor, I would highly recommend their almond poppy seed cake with lemon curd filling!

They were proactive in making sure we had what we wanted. There was a problem with the cake topper and they called me right away so I could take care of it. They did exactly what you want your vendors to do, they did all the stressing for me so I could relax knowing it was all taken care of.

We had a "minor" wedding cake emergency and needed to order a cake for 200 people less than 2 weeks before the wedding. Just American Desserts took care of it. They worked within our budget, made custom decorations that were included in the price, and delivered the cake on time. They were friendly and professional despite our last-minute order. They are one of the only (if not THE only) places that make their cakes, frosting, and most of their fillings from scratch - and they are upfront about what isn't made from scratch. They have a variety of flavors to choose from, and provide a tasting plate to try everything before you order. So delicious!

Eva truely is the cake master! For our wedding we really did want the best of the best for this area and Eva is it! We had a general idea of what we wanted for a cake and when we met with her the sketches made our cake come to life. She was very open and honest, willing to do whatever we wanted, and very professional! Really the hardest part of the cake process was deciding on all the decedant flavors they have to choose from! The taste of their cakes are amazing and was one thing I got tons of compliments on! The cake was delievered on time, held up to the heat, looked beautiful and tasted great! I didnt have to worry about a thing

Amazing food, and the service was very friendly. I was worried about the delivery (we were far away) but they delivered on time and set up the desserts beautifully!

Just American Desserts provided exactly what we needed. We had a complementary taste testing with them months before the wedding, and decided to go with their assorted dessert option, that includes their many different bite sized cake pieces, lemon bars, and we even included mini berry and apple tartes. My husband and I are not big cake eaters, so instead of cutting into a cake, we had two small pies-on-sticks that were very delicious and very inexpensive. We would have loved strawberry rhubarb to be the filling, but apple and raspberry worked out fine as that is what they were able to provide. We actually had forgotten what we were going to do for displaying the pops, and we had to make some last minute calls and changes to our order, resulting in a cute piece of poppyseed cake holding our pops. They were incredibly accommodating! I work the same hours they are open and they made sure to call me when I got off, which was their after-hours. All of their desserts are very delicious, so if you are looking for a great taste, they will not disappoint. As for looks, I don't believe I have the grounds for an opinion since we didn't do anything extravagant, but I am sure their display cakes in their shop will give a good idea of what great things they can do!

Just American desserts was so yummy and my cake was exactly what I had envisioned. We did a 8 inch round and cupcakes. The guest loved them and so did I!

The cake tasted great however the topper fell through the top layer. when we dropped off the topper it was not mentioned to us that it might be too heavy.

Just American Desserts makes the most delicious cakes in town (especially the white cake with lemon filling). We have purchased their cakes for family events for the last 15-20 years. They made a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us.

This was a great cake place, they were so friendly from the moment we went in there. You are offered a great sample cake tray to test out, then you get to pick your favorites. The only downside was getting a call the morning of the wedding and being told payment was needed in full before they could deliver the cake. This wasn't mentioned prior to my wedding date.

Most delicious I have ever tasted in my life. EVERYONE there agreed. Only complaint - it was VERY expensive. Also, I wanted to someone reduce the calorie content and make it more nutritious, but they didnt make any recipe alterations.

Very nice cake, price wasn't too bad. Did not know that I needed to pay for the whole thing in advance UNTIL they called me that morning while I was getting my hair done and told me they wouldn't deliver until I came to their business (20 miles from where I was) and paid in full.

Our wedding cake turned out nice, but if I did it all again I would go through a different cake place. We chose this place because they had a deal with the venue we had our wedding at. My BIGGEST problem with Just American Desserts was when we went in to try the cake flavors and order the cake. Thy sat us down and the first thing we told them is that the groom is deathly allergic to nuts, so we wanted to make sure they could assure there would be no nuts anywhere near the cake. She said it was no problem, then proceeded to bring out a plate full of all the different cakes, including all the ones with nuts, and sat them in front of the groom. So he never even got a chance to test the cakes. So his mom and I had to pick the cake. Pretty irritating. Other than that everything was alright. We didn't want a traditional wedding cake and ended up with one because that is all they could do. It was a very pretty cake just not exactly what we wanted.

I loved the cake, it was beautiful and delicious and just how I pictured it even though I custom ordered it. As for the service, I placed my order and prepaid for eveything months in advance. However, four days before my wedding the owner, Eva, called me at work to ask if the cake could be delivered any earlier. The wedding was at 3pm and we were let into the venue at 1pm, and I had reserved the cake to be delivered at 1:30pm (which I thought was fairly early to begin with). I explained that we couldn't get into the building until 1pm, and she told me that her delivery person had somewhere to be at 1pm (WHICH IS NOT THE BRIDE'S PROBLEM!). I told her that I had made this reservation months in advance and had prepaid for everything INCLUDING the $70 delivery fee for a Sunday, and SHE TOLD ME TO CALM DOWN. First of all, you don't call a bride four days before the wedding and ask to change the reservation. Second, you never tell a customer, or anyone for that matter, to CALM DOWN - it's just plain rude and has the opposite effect and makes that person even more upset. After getting off the phone with her, I gave myself time to cool off before calling to talk to the owner (which turns out is the person who called me) and spoke to another person about it. They told me they were sorry about the problem, but I never got an apology from the owner. I will never use this company again.
