Kept the party going!

Chris was great. He played fun tines, kept the party going and was flexible when schedule changes occurred. He event helped us with our fur baby ring bearer! So thankful for him and his team

Incredibly professional and friendly

Chris and Jeremy from Jump Start DJ's were amazing and my wife and I cannot say enough positive things about them. They were super easy to work with and the planning meetings, online planning forms, and song database made the process a breeze. They had a wonderful selection of music throughout the night and kept the dance floor full until the last song. We would 10/10 recommend Chris, Jeremy, and Jump Start DJ's!

Highly recommend Jump Start DJ!!

We hired Jump Start DJ for our wedding in July!! I cannot recommend them enough!! Chris and Jeremy were very professional and always kept the party going! It was the perfect day for us with their help. Everyone was out on the dance floor all night! I 100% recommend hiring them for your wedding or any other event!! BEST. DAY. EVER!!

Enthusiastic DJ Highly Recommended!!

We booked Chris to be our DJ at our wedding and couldn't be happier with the help he provided. He was a great communicator -- we had an initial call when booking for an overview of his services and figure out what we wanted. We then had another check in the couple weeks prior to our wedding to finalize details. He had a website which made it easy for us to work on our music and announcement preferences on our own time. He was flexible with incorporating our preferences and was very helpful in providing his expertise to assist with planning.

We opted to have Chris sing and play acoustic guitar during cocktail hour and he was great! His dance set was so fun taking into account our song preferences and flowed so smoothly! Chris had amazing energy and it was so great to see him having fun with us! We definitely recommend hiring Jump Start DJ's for your big day!!

Incredible DJ and person!

Chris was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for! We “interviewed” multiple DJ’s and from the first conversation, we both agreed Chris was our guy. He asked us questions about our wedding that we never even thought of, and how grateful for that we were. Chris is as professional as they come. He is very easy to work with. He went above and beyond to work with all of our vendors. He even learned a new song for us to sing and play on his guitar! And did a fantastic job at performing it. It was a hit! We received soooo many compliments from everyone at our wedding about how fantastic Chris was. He really created the exact atmosphere that we were hoping for. Chris did much more than just provide great music. He created an unforgettable experience. His combination of excellent guitar playing/singing, along with his perfect music selection was beyond what we expected. We really appreciate everything Chris did, and really hope everyone needing a DJ reads this review. He’s also just a very nice, genuine guy! Thank you Chris PS: It’s hard to find much of Chris on social media, but do not let that discourage you. You will not regret having Chris DJ your event

Excellent DJ and MC!

Chris was an excellent DJ! In our very first conversation with him, we stressed the importance of having a full dance floor at our wedding reception. Chris totally understood the assignment and delivered on our wedding night! He was able to get a feel for the crowd as the night went on (a lot of 90s babies) and played music that everyone knew and loved! When he went acoustic for a few songs, it was very well received!

In the week leading up to the wedding we made some slight changes to the order of events at our reception, and Chris was incredibly flexible and was able to accommodate the changes with ease. If we were to do it all again, we would absolutely book Chris as our DJ!

Chris was very fast with response and easy to communicate with. He did an amazing job with both the ceremony and reception. I don’t listen to a wide variety of music and the thought of creating a playlist stressed me out. Chris took care of everything! Couldn't of been more happy!!

Awesome Job

We had an absolute blast at our wedding reception. Chris was a huge part of this success. The dance floor was packed all night long. Make sure you have Chris bring his guitar. Everyone enjoyed when he played it. Chris is a great communicator and arrived and set up on time. Most importantly Chris is just a good guy.

Great Experience

Chris was great. He was easy to work with throughout the process and was very responsive. He played the guitar and sang during our cocktail hour and then DJ’d and emceed the reception. He had a great grip of what everyone was enjoying and was great in both settings. We have gotten so many raving comments about how enjoyable he was as our DJ. It would be a no brainer to use Chris again at our next big event.

So glad we hired Chris!!

We just had our wedding this past weekend and Chris did a phenomenal job! Our guests were so impressed with him and his true talent they saw as he played a mixture of acoustic songs as well. It was a pleasure working with him and he made communication so easy not only before but during the wedding as well. He was great at adjusting our timeline as needed at the reception to make sure we did everything we wanted but didn't disrupt the dance floor once it was open! Hire him, you won't regret it. The very best!

I can’t say enough how Jump Start DJs helped make our day the best day imaginable! Chris has been great to communicate with, making the contract crystal clear and was always very fast at responses. Thomas was our DJ and we talked over the phone before the big day so that we could iron out the details. The day of he was early which was great! He was great at instructing us when to walk. Most importantly he kept our wedding guests happy on the dance floor. We had submitted song requests via the client portal. He played most of them and also threw in songs he felt the crowd wanted to hear and it really was perfect :) Overall, I would 100% recommend this company. They’re professional, prices can’t be beat and they make the night memorable. Thank you Jump Start!!!

Jump Start DJs was everything we were looking for!

Chris and Jump Start DJs helped us have an unforgettable wedding. He had everyone from our young nieces to their grandparents dancing throughout the night. He played so many of our suggested songs at the perfect time. Prior to our wedding day, he was so helpful in planning our day and open and flexible to our wishes. He really helped us think through the day and what was important to us. And when the day came, he kept us on schedule and really eased us through the day. He arrived early, was great with communication, took requests from our guests and made our day the celebration we were hoping for. We would book Chris and Jump Start DJs again without hesitation. Just make sure to get a larger dance floor than you think you'll need, Chris will keep it filled!

Great experience with Chris from Jumpstart DJs

I had the pleasure of having Chris as my DJ at my wedding this summer (2022). I have seen Chris work at 2 other weddings in my family and he did a great job every time so I decided to use him for my wedding as well. He did not disappoint! Great DJ for your event!

We used Jump Start DJ’s for our wedding. We chose to have Chris do it so we could have some live music as well. They had great options for the wedding packages that were straight forward and easy to understand. I thought the process to inform them of the details and the website to pick songs was great! The live music was amazing! Chris even worked with another musician friend or ours and learned a new song at our request which was really fantastic! It really added a special personal touch everyone loved!

Could not have asked for better

All interactions with Chris and the DJ were very professional. They seemed to be one step ahead of us throughout the entire process, which was very appreciated. DJ Robby did a fantastic job the day of the wedding. Overall an excellent experience.

Full dance floor all night!

We originally scheduled our wedding for November 2021, but due to Covid, had to reschedule to March 2022. Chris was unable to attend our second date but assured me he would send his next best DJ. And he absolutely delivered! DJ Robby was prompt and helpful and kept the night moving but also was super flexible with the timeline. He played a good variation of music for an alternative/country/dance/pop mix (per our request). He checked in with the bride and groom often and really catered to our wants and needs. People continue to comment on how awesome the DJ was and that they were so surprised how full the dance floor was all night. We were so pleased with his services and would absolutely recommend Jumpstart DJs to anyone.

A+ Company - Incredible Value for the Experience

We HIGHLY recommend Chris Delgado and Jump Start DJs to anyone reading this review and considering their services. Before the big day, Chris was readily available to discuss any of our concerns, and we felt we were in great hands leading up to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away by the flexibility and attention to detail. Chris worked closely with our other vendors and made the necessary adjustments to our reception timeline to keep everything moving as planned. Once the dancing portion of the evening began, the dance floor was completely full until the end of the night. Chris had a great feel for the room and the type of music that was in favor with our guests, and it really showed. Our special day was an absolute blast, and that is thanks in no small part to Chris and Jump Start DJs - we could not have asked for more. A well-deserved 5 stars to a great company.

AMAZING DJ Experience - A+ All Around

Chris did an AMAZING job at our wedding. While engaged, we attended a wedding that Chris was the DJ for and he never failed to keep the dance floor going - I got his card and booked him the next day! Right from the beginning he was amazing to work with and was always open to talk about our plans. We were looking for vendors that actually cared about us and not just another wedding, and Chris fit that perfectly! We delayed our wedding a full year and Chris was so accommodating and asked if he could do anything for us while we were delayed.

The website Chris uses to create music playlists/requests was very easy to use. We knew from experience that Chris knew how to keep a dance floor full so we didn't have many songs on the list, and when we talked about it Chris knew we trusted his expertise. Leading up to the wedding there were a few changes on our end (including some the day of) that needed to change and Chris took those without delay.

My absolute favorite thing that happened was my family reached out to Chris ahead of time and planned a flash mob surprise for my wife and I. Chris worked with my brother (without our knowledge) and was able to set up all the details without us knowing and it was absolutely amazing!

In terms of the night, Chris did amazing and kept everyone happy. It was the most full dance floor I've seen at a wedding and a perfect mix. He knows from experience to play similar songs together to keep the same group up, but then also provide changes to get other guests involved. He even performed some live musical instruments for the crowd! We received so many compliments from guests on the DJ!

On top of the DJ, we used the photo booth Chris also offered. We absolutely loved going through the book with photos and notes from our guests the next day. We were so happy to add that to our day and delighted we could work with Chris.

Overall, it was a perfect experience and I couldn't recommend Chris more. If you aren't sure who to use, call Jump Start DJs!

Great Experience with Jump Start DJs

Chris Delgado turned out to be a great pick for our wedding DJ! My wife and I coordinated with him entirely over the phone and email, since we live in LA. Chris made things easy for us despite having to delay our wedding for an entire year due to covid, and when the big day finally came, he was competent, classy, unobtrusive, and his guitar and vocal skills came in HUGE for us. He listened to what we wanted and played exactly that (I gave him an extensive selection via his online portal). Our outdoor venue's manager was annoyingly restrictive about volume levels, and when she said we had to cut off the amplified music / speakers at the end of the night because of local rules, Chris kept the good times going with his acoustic guitar and gave us more time on the dance floor to enjoy together as he sang us some songs. He's GOOD! (This is also coming from a guy that was maybe a little skeptical about the stranger-singing-with-an-acoustic-guitar proposition, like it maybe wouldn't be very "cool". I've very glad I put that concern aside and we asked him to play for us.) It was a super-great vibe-addition to the event. While we had Chris play our event personally, I'd trust his judgement, and bet that the other DJ's on his team are picked as best as anyone could, and well managed. If you're endlessly weighing reviews you can stop already. Just him a call!

A Great DJ Service for a Great Party

Jump Start DJ's was wonderful! Our DJ was Tim, and he really helped make our reception a wonderful event. He clearly was experienced and knew what he was doing, he made time to speak with me prior to the event so that I could have peace of mind knowing that he was completely confident in our time line, and was easy to communicate with throughout the event. The music played was perfect and got great reviews from my whole family, he played a great blend of songs I'd requested and songs that guests requested throughout the evening, and was also very helpful throughout the event. It also must be said that the company was so accommodating throughout the pandemic- I'm a COVID bride and I had to postpone my reception twice, with the third chosen date being the one where we finally got to have our reception. They worked with me and were able to accommodate all date changes, as well as being so supportive and understanding through the difficult times. I think that Jump Start was a great choice and would definitely recommend their services to anyone hosting an event.

Absolutely perfect!

I was referred to Chris/Jump Start by our wedding venue owner. We had a last minute wedding and planned it all in just over a month, which meant coming up with all the songs and timelines pretty quickly. Somehow, Chris was available on the day of our wedding and our initial phone call was great. He was super friendly, wanted to know the style we were going for, gave me all the information I needed and I got set up on his website to input all my songs right away.

We wanted Texas country music to be our main theme, which is kind of unique up in Michigan. Chris curated the most flawless playlist, I couldn't have imagined it any better. He managed to get all of our favorite songs in, seemed to understand exactly the energy we were looking for and he even played some acoustic songs for us which everybody loved. He was an amazing person to work with throughout the whole process, so friendly and extremely professional. He met all of the timelines we had for the special events, and was flexible when timing didn't line up perfectly. Could not recommend him enough, we loved him!

Just a fantastic human!

Our call a few weeks before the wedding he told me not to worry about a thing and he would work with all the other venders there’s to ensure timing was exactly what we wanted. He was right, I didn’t have to worry about anything. He had it all taken care of and kept the party going. My brother and I both used him for our weddings so highly recommended! Oh and don’t forget to ask him to play his own guitar! Super cool experience!

Chris did an amazing job at our recent wedding, August 6th. He helped navigate our changing schedule for the day as unexpected weather showed up. He communicated all night with other vendors and us to keep the night running smoothy. He played a great variety of music that kept people on the dance floor until the end- even a couple live songs, which everyone loved. I would recommend Chris over and over again.

Get the Party Started

Jump Start did an amazing job reading the crowd at our daughter's wedding. The guest danced up until the very last song. Music was at an appropriate volume so people not dancing could visit. We especially loved the photo booth and viewing the pictures of the guests and the fun they had. Photo booth props were amazing, the size of the photo booth allows for big groups which is supper fun. I highly recommend Jump Start DJ's for any event that needs music!

100% Recommend Chris for the best wedding DJ ever!

Our wedding day was quite eventful with a tornado warning delaying the celebration. Chris was very flexible and accommodated our requests for changes in timing and order of events and made the evening go smoothly! He followed through on all the special song requests we had and had the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT! We added on an extra 30 minutes of his playing at the end of the night because he made the party want to keep going and going! He did an amazing job DJ-ing and playing live music himself, too! Super talented, kind, fun, flexible, energetic, and great at communicating via zoom, phone call, text, and through their website. Definitely recommend Chris at JumpStart DJs!

Absolutely amazing!

Chris was more than we could have asked for. He was very responsive to emails, the online forms make planning with him very easy! Fun, flexible and professional

Fantastic music and emceeing throughout the night! Chris Delgato was the best to work with—amidst a global pandemic no less. We had to change a lot of our plans and follow all the latest health regulations. Chris was so understanding and flexible throughout the stressful planning process and was a complete gem the day of the wedding. He was also a great emcee for a special Polish ceremony at the reception and properly pronounced some challenging names! Would recommend Jump Start DJs to anyone, anytime.

Talking on the phone with Chris was step 1, and he made me feel really good about what to expect and assured me he would find the right DJ for us. We were so nervous when hiring a DJ because we don't listen to Top 40 hits. But we did also want people to dance, of course. DJ Robby did an AMAZING job. Truly the DJ is the heart of the reception, they can make it or break it... our guests danced!! And since, we have recieved A LOT of compliments on our DJ. DJ Robby was very helpful with his suggestions i.e allowing requests but later in the evening, and he did very well playing all of our songs. Even ones that weren't in their catalog. I also super liked we were able to give a "love, like, and do not play" list. Overall satisfaction here.

Best DJ Experience Ever

My husband and I got married last weekend and had an incredible experience with Jump Start DJs all the way through the process. From the friendliness of working with Chris initially and his availability and help was extremely helpful. After the initial experience the online forms and guides to help us plan the songs for there ceremony was innovative and organized. And then meeting our DJ was really helpful ahead of time. He was a great guy and very helpful guiding us through what to expect and customizing everything we needed him to. Additionally, at the wedding he followed up with us continually to keep customizing the experience and keep things rolling. It was so helpful and reassuring! Chris helped make our day perfect! He is more then just a DJ, he helped keep everything on schedule with guests and let us know what was next! Before our wedding Chris went over our timeline and opinions on multiple things, to make sure he understood exactly what we were looking for! Jumpstart DJ has a very user friendly portal to allow you to put in timelines, extra information, and song requests (which they do use on your day of, so they make sure to have all the songs your guests want!) Chris and Robby allowed for us to enjoy our night and know everything was going smoothly and allowed for our guests to have an amazing time! With having a wedding scheduled during a pandemic and so much that had to be changed last minute, Chris stayed in constant communication to make sure we still had our dream day!

We used Jump Start for the ceremony and reception. We also used the photo booth service. All of it was great. They kept in good communication prior too and coordinated everything. We liked that we could be hands off with the music selection and they took care of the rest. They made it really easy. Also the photo booth was a ton of fun and they give you a usb with all the photos which was great.

Jump Start DJ's provided a fun filled evening for our daughter's wedding. The dance floor was never empty! Hunter kept the party going and read the crowd well. We got off the time schedule a bit but Hunter rolled with it; we appreciate his flexibility. While planning the wedding Chris, the owner, was quick to respond to every question. His preplanning form helped give the DJ information about the music the couple wanted but he still took guest requests. After we hired Jump Start, we added a portable sound system for the service and Chris handled it seamlessly. Their customer service is the best! I whole heartedly recommend this company.

Jump start djs was awesome!

Jump Start DJs was awesome! I honestly had no idea who to get to DJ our special day and talked to multiple different DJs before finding them. I felt like other DJ companies were trying to "sell" me packages rather than wanting to make my day special. Jump Start didn't feel like that and I'm so happy I went with them. They have a great online portal which honestly helped me organize the day so much better. We were able to pick out our "loves" likes" and "do not play" songs on this form as well. Anthony was our DJ for the day and he did SO great! He played a great mix of songs and included all the songs we had picked as well. Our dance floor was full all night! 100% recommend them!

Dance the night away with jump start djs

We had some special, uncommon music requests on our big day and Chris made it happen. He was so great with his mix of music and keeping the party going. We opted to have a photo booth as well and they even put the photos in a covered book for us which was unexpected and so appreciated. It’s one of my favorite wedding keepsakes. We Couldn't Ask For A Better DJ

Where do I even begin?! Chris was fantastic and we are beyond happy he was there for our special day. He was wonderful at transitioning, keeping the party going, and reading the crowd (not to mention his down to earth attitude and his great sense of humor made it so easy to work with). There were 30+ people on the dance floor the entire night! He knew what songs to play at the appropriate time and he even got out his guitar and played 3 songs towards the end of the night (the songs he picked to play were perfect). We hired Jump Start DJ’s for our 07.27.19 wedding and we honestly could not have made a better decision!!! From our very first phone consultation with Chris Delgado, we knew that this was the entertainment company we needed to hire for our special day 💕 Chris was so kind and personable and he answered all of the questions we had (even a few we didn’t know we had) without even having to ask! He really has a gift for this business and takes great pride in the service that his entire staff provides to their clients!! Outstanding DJ

Jump Start DJs listened to my ideas prior to our reception and stayed incredibly flexible during the event itself. I had to make unplanned announcements and they kept things moving like it was planned and part of the show. I had a few songs that I did NOT want to hear, and they were requested by wedding guests. Our DJ stuck to our Do Not Play list and played songs that were similar to those requested to please everyone! They also had a great pulse on the crowd. They knew when to slow things down and take it back up! I highly recommend to any couple looking for an intelligent DJ that not only knows great wedding music, but how to read a big crowd!

Danced all Night

I am so thrilled that I hired Chris and Jumpstart DJ's for my daughter's June 2019 wedding in Northern Michigan. Having to plan from Washington, DC was a little challenging, but Chris made the music part of the day super easy. His online music planning tools were super simply and they helped organize the flow of the reception. I loved that he took the initiative to go outside and play his guitar and sing during cocktails and then after dinner he just kept the party going on the dance floor until the very end. We had Chris as our DJ, he was extremely professional, timely, easy to work with and very fun! We asked for a very specific entrance into our reception, and Chris nailed it. Absolutely perfect. Another thing I might add is that meeting with Chris helped us figure out many other aspects of our reception that we didn't think of because he brought them up. We first met with the Owner Chris, who was very helpful explaining their services and process. We decided to do the DJ and Photobooth for our wedding and it turned out to be spectacular. Wesley the DJ was very personable and kept the crowd on the dance floor all night! The photobooth was also a big hit, and we received all of the pictures in an album at the end of the night. Jump Start Truly Brought the Party!

Jump Start was fantastic from start to finish! Chris was quick to respond to inquiry and took time to explain their process and answer questions. They have easy to use online forms that give the DJ all the info they need. Tim reached out a few days before the wedding to get to know us a bit and make sure he knew what we wanted. Tim dj'd our wedding and we absolutely LOVED his work!! He was upbeat but not cheesy, was great with rolling with any last minute changes we needed, and kept our dancefloor packed! Tim was very fun but also professional. He even tracked me down to make sure that I was comfortable with him playing some of the more "colorful" music that my partygoers wanted toward the end of the night. Class act! Jump Start DJs was very accommodating with all our requests at the wedding. Our DJ was Hunter, and I was very impressed with him! Our guests had a blast and were on the dance floor all night. He even helped out with a little prank the best man had planned. The night went on without a glitch, and we received several compliments about how great our DJ was. I’d highly recommend!

Love, LOVE this vendor! They did an amazing job from our first interaction. Chris is very efficient and seemed to be available by email any time, any day. He was very personable and stayed in contact during the entire year from the first time we spoke until a couple days before the wedding to ensure no questions or problems. Tim our DJ was awesome! He was high energy and kept the night going. We received a lot of compliments! Also loved having a photo booth organized by them, no extra work or stress for us. Everyone had a blast at our wedding and it wouldnt have been the same without Jump Start! Highly recommend!

Awesome Night!

Chris Delgado rocks! We knew from first conversation with Chris that he was the DJ for us. Chris made the whole process stress free for us with his professionalism and excellent communication. Chris provided a unique experience with a combination of acoustic music during cocktail hour and a mix of acoustic and DJ during our reception which was exactly what we had hoped for. Chris was very easy to work with and his style and flexibility help ensure the entire night was perfect. Chris did a great job reading the crowd, getting people on the dance floor, and keeping the energy up all night. Thanks Chris for making our night very special!

Chris was super helpful and flexible. My husband and I are fairly simple and didn’t have a certain style or taste in mind. Chris really helped us fill in the gaps so that not only us, but all of our family and friends had a great night.

My guests and I were so impressed with our DJ on Saturday.

I have gotten so many compliments on what a great job he did and I have never seen so many people so consistently on the dance floor!

I know a DJ can make or break a wedding and I give a lot of credit to ours for keeping everything so fun! I am so happy that Jumpstart has lived up to their excellent reputation.

Chris was a delight to work with! He was helpful from the start of our process of simply finding the right DJ for our wedding. The moment I first spoke with him, he was invested in finding a match for us, turns out it was him :) We FaceTimed a few times and met in person once, and he was incredibly receptive and quick with response; he even helped us on pricing. My wife had always wanted a band, I had wanted a DJ. Chris can do it all! He provided both some live music, specifically for our first dance, and was an amazing and fun DJ. He made it a priority to give us what we wanted and what we always saw ourselves having. Our guests were very happy with the music that was played and how much he tried to give everyone what they requested. I'd definitely recommend Jump Start DJs to anyone.

We wanted to be really careful in our search for a DJ. We looked around for weeks and took different references for DJ companies. We had a good feeling about Jump Start DJ's. We met with Chris, who was great to talk to and he gave us all the information that we needed. He contacted us throughout and made sure to answer any questions that I had. Our DJ for the wedding was Hunter. We could not have asked for a better DJ. He was kind, willing to be flexible, yet always keeping the timeline in mind. The party went the entire night and there was rarely a time when the dance floor was not full. Everybody that we talked to complimented on the great music that we had. We would definitely recommend Jump Start DJs and Hunter to anyone who asks!

Absolutely love Jump Start DJ's! I worked with Chris on the payments and booking and he was wonderful. He was always available and answered all the questions I had. During out initial booking we met with Chris and discussed everything we wanted in a DJ and he did not disappoint us. We had an incredible DJ, Joseph, that kept the party alive and was very personable. He got to know my husband and I and understood exactly what we wanted. He played the perfect music and our guests loved how much he interacted with them. I was extremely picky when it came to a DJ because they can make or break your wedding and I am SOOO happy we chose Jump Start DJ's. They exceeded our expectations and made our wedding wonderful!

Chris was the best DJ I could've ever imagined for our wedding. Chris played all our favorite songs, he catered to our older crowds and younger crowds. He kept the dance floor packed and his acoustic sets made our reception unique. We received so many compliments from our guests saying our DJ was simply amazing and the funnest reception they have ever been to, and the comments came from a variety of ages. You will not be disappointed when booking Jump Start DJ's.

I highly suggest Jump Start DJ's. Their team is great at communicating and confirming all the details for your day. They also have a nicely organized website where you can request all your songs and plan out your timeline ahead of time. On our wedding night, the DJ assigned to us (Tim) really kept the party going. He was flexible with any changes we had throughout the night, was very entertaining, and the quality of the sound system and music he played was great! I had numerous people come up to me to tell me how impressed they were with Tim and requesting his contact information. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for my wedding or better communication with the owner, Chris, behind the scenes. Thank you!

Chris Delgado, owner of Jump Start DJ's was our DJ for our ceremony and wedding at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. He absolutely made our day complete and did such an amazing job! We were so thankful for all that he did and the event turned out just perfect! Also, when he was playing his guitar and singing live, people were amazed!!! Chris did such a fantastic job and would highly recommend him to any bride! Not only did Chris come highly recommended from my co-worker and another friend of mine, after our wedding, I found out he was the DJ for a couple other friends' weddings and everyone was just amazed at his talent.

We had an amazing experience with Jumpstart DJ's. Our originally dj we had booked for our wedding bailed on us and We were only a few months away from our wedding and Jumpstart was able to give me everything I wanted in a dj. Our dj was nick and he was super helpful and did an amazing job at our reception as well. We were lucky enough to have Chris as our DJ. He really felt out our crowd and kept the dance floor alive with music that we and our guests were loving! He was receptive to timing suggestions in the moment and coordinated things well with the other vendors! We also booked a photo booth which was a total hit -- we LOVE the keepsake book of pictures! Jump Start DJs is absolutely incredible! My husband and I chose them to DJ our wedding in June and we made a great decision. We live in Florida and had our wedding in Michigan where I am from. From the first meeting to our wedding reception, Jump Start was 100% professional and made us feel relaxed and excited for our wedding. JS helped us stay organized by providing a planning chart, song list, and event timeline that was easily accessed online. Through their wide variety of songs we could select what we wanted played at our rustic, vintage themed wedding. JS contacted my husband and I during our engagement to keep in touch and get a feel and understanding for how our reception would be run. The day of the wedding, Chris was our DJ. Chris arrived at the venue in a timely and organized fashion. He set equipment up, took equipment down, and was our MC for the evening. Chris took charge and allowed us to enjoy our evening WORRY FREE!!! Not only did we have a blast at our wedding, but our guests did too. When the night ended no one wanted to leave, everyone wanted more! I highly recommended Jump Start DJs for any event!! Did I mention Jump Start is extremely affordably priced! We loved having Jump Start DJs for our wedding reception. We had a DJ as well as the photo booth, and both were awesome (if you're on the fence about getting a photo booth or haven't considered it, definitely do it!).

Chris was really flexible and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, and always very helpful. We were able to pick "love", "like" and "do not play" songs on their website, which was convenient for us. It took a little bit to understand how the site worked, but was overall a nice feature.

Our actual day of DJ, Tim, was really good about working with us. I was able to text him with last minute requests the week leading up to the wedding, which was great since we had plenty of other things stressing us out that week. Tim did a great job of keeping the reception moving along smoothly, and improvising when needed.

Our photo booth was a hit with our guests, and we loved that we got full size digital copies of all the pictures that we could share with everyone. It was also nice that they brought along a box of props (there were a LOT) to use in addition to the ones we had. It would have been helpful for us to know ahead of time that they were providing them, but it was okay since we had some pretty funny ones we were excited to have out (shake weight from goodwill, who would have known it would be such a hit).

Overall, great experience! Wish we could do it over again.

We had a fantastic experience with Jumpstart DJs for our Ann Arbor wedding. Chris, the owner, is responsive, fun, professional, and shows genuine interest in making your event run smoothly. The music library is extensive and well organized. We received tons compliments on the music from our guests. Chris is truly able to read the crowd to keep people on the dance floor. We also loved having some acoustic music played. It made for an awesome night!

Chris (the owner) and our DJ, Nick, were very concerned with the vibe we were trying to go for. Nick NAILED it! I am very impressed with how tailored our wedding music was to us as a couple and to my older relatives too.

Chris was absolutely incredible and made the night so easy for my husband and I to enjoy. We would 100% recommend him to anyone. He knew how to get people up and dancing and when to play the right songs.
