Kind, easy to work with, and delivered stunning photos—highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Julian! From the moment we met, he made us feel comfortable and at ease. Neither of us are big camera people but from our first meeting for the engagement shoot, we knew choosing Julian was the right decision. His professionalism and experience was evident. Each set of photos we have received have been stunning, with such attention to details. We keep looking at them over and over! For our wedding July 2024, we had the pleasure to work with Julian and Evgenia. What a fantastic Duo! Everyone that interacted with them on wedding day had nothing but great things to say. Amazing Experience!!!!!

Julian's company came highly rated to us and we used them for our engagement. They worked with me to set it all up so the photographer (Gary) was on station at the top of the Empire State building with a pre-determined sign to let him know that we were there and ready without my bride to be knowing anything. After the proposal, we walked around NYC and the pictures he took did an EXCELLENT job of capturing the moment and emotions of the event! We may very well utilize their services for our wedding!

The perfect photographer!

For years I have known that I wanted by wedding photos captured by Julian and not only were my expectations met, I was absolutely blown away. Absolutely everything from the pre-wedding meeting (where he provided reassurance and a calming presence I didn't even know I needed!) to the delivery of the photos was absolutely perfect. I don't know how he does it but every single photo was stunning and looking through them was like being there all over again. On the day of the wedding he made taking photos fun and exciting and at the same time had a calm, reassuring and extremely professional attitude. I could not recommend him more as a wedding photographer.

Edit: We received our wedding photo album and it is absolutely stunning in every way. The quality of the album, the ease of the system Julian uses to select the photos was perfect and I am delighted to have this beautiful keepsake to look back it for year to come.

Incredible experience with Julian & Evgenia

Julian & Evgenia shot my wedding on Feb 25, and I cannot recommend them enough! My sister and her friends also worked with them and had such amazing things to say, so it was a no brainer when we were choosing a photographer. My husband and I typically hate taking photos and can never agree on one we like, so we were nervous about hating all of our wedding photos. Julian & Evgenia both not only made us feel incredibly comfortable, but they captured the most gorgeous special photos and completely exceeded all expectations we had!! I cannot recommend them enough, and I look forward to having a reason to work with them again in the future!

Professional, Fabulous Duo with STUNNING results!

Working with Julian and Evgenia has been an absolute pleasure! They both so easily accommodated us during several date changes with COVID and never made us feel like a hassle. Love the Photos!

We were extremely happy with Julian and Evgenia's photos, and would strongly recommend anyone considering them to go for it. We had a very long wedding day, and Julian and Evgenia were there with us the entire time. They took so many photos that we really felt like our entire day was well documented, and their presence was very laid-back so taking photos with them felt very natural. Their edited photos were really fantastic - they look dramatic, intense, and artistic. We were excited to share them with our family and friends, and we were so happy with how they turned out.

We looked at the portfolios of a number of photographers online that shot at our venue before deciding to go with Julian and Evgenia, and we were initially worried about our photos at our venue because a number of other photographers’ photos of the venue that we saw online looked dark, but Julian and Evgenia's photos at our wedding looked incredible.

Julian and Evgenia were extremely professional. When we signed up, Julian worked with us to come up with a detailed timeline for the entire wedding day. They showed up on time (bright and early), and they also were very accommodating to our various requests, which really helped us weather some oversights on our end that inevitably happen when planning a wedding (e.g., they were leaving for the evening but stopped to help us take some photos with some guests who hadn't had a chance to take a photo with us yet, we forgot to bring a copy of our wedding invitation and so they had us mail a copy to them so they could photograph it, etc.), and we felt like they really went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy with how everything turned out.

Professional and responsive

Julian was our wedding photographer in 2016. We enjoyed the experience and the photos. Fast forward 6 years later I thought my photo thumb drive as damaged and lost all my photos. Julian responded within 24 hours and helped me with a link to download all my photos. That is professionalism. Very impressed and trust the team.

Wedding would not be possible without Julian!

WOW! Our wedding would not have been complete with Julian, his wife, and the team. From the early morning start to late night-reception, they were with us capturing every unique and special moment on our amazing day! Julian has an eye for capturing amazing moments - evident from the pictures we received. In addition to his capabilities, he was such a pleasure to work with. He was kind, responsive, thorough, a man of his word, and everything you would want with a vendor you work with. Amazing, amazing, amazing

Julian and his wife Evgenia are incredible! Prior to the wedding they are responsive and available whenever you have a question, they are super easy to work with. Then the wedding comes and they blend so seamlessly into the background and just make you feel so comfortable and let you relax while they are actually taking the most amazing photos without you even realizing. I LOVE a husband and wife team that just knows exactly what they need and can communicate to each other with just a look. I am extremely critical of how I look in photos and when we finally received our pictures I was completely blown away. Each photo is more beautiful than the next. I cannot stress this enough, go hire Julian and Evgenia before your date gets booked!

Couldn’t recommend more!

My husband and I chose Julian for our Oct 2020 wedding. Julian and Evgenia were SO accommodating after we had to move our wedding date 2 times because of COVID. They were super responsive and reassured us through the entire process. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Julian made us and our families feel so comfortable and made the day super fun and enjoyable. My husband and I are not usually super comfortable in front of the camera but we had so much fun shooting with Julian. We knew the moment we saw their Instagram that we wanted them for our wedding and they ABSOLUTELY delivered. Julian and Evgenia are such a pleasure to work with! From the very start, I knew I was in the best hands ever. They were beyond responsive, professional, kind, caring, comfortable to be around, and TALENTED. I am blown away at how they are able to capture moments, unlike any other photographer I've ever seen! I seriously feel like I have a play-by-play of my entire wedding (and given we had a traditional Jewish modern Orthodox wedding, there was a TON of rituals and traditions to capture, so it's even more so impressive). The most stunning pictures

I have nothing but great things to say about Julian and Evgenia from Julian Ribinik Photography. They are amazing and everything you want from wedding photographers. I had initially seen their photos from when they photographed my friend’s wedding, and I knew I had to hire them. They photographed my wedding at The Garden City Hotel on Long Island. Leading up to the wedding they were responsive, accessible and very easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, they were professional, attentive and a such pleasure to have so intimately involved in our day. Great experience

Julian and Evgenia captured our wedding this past July and we could not be more happy with the results. They were very professional and considerate throughout the whole process. They were always prompt and very flexible in terms of travel and other requests. Even our wedding coordinators told us privately after how splendid they were to work with! Julian has also worked with a few of my cousins as well and we've all been very satisfied with the end result. From the morning of to the end of the day, Julian does a fantastic job capturing every little moment. We also had our engagement photo shoot done with Julian as well. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to capture incredible photos of their special day or any special event.

Dream Vendor

As I go through my photos to print and frame a year after my wedding, I cant help but smile at these stunning images. Julian was an absolute dream to work with- he is beyond professional. He managed to calm me down when needed, and capture the most amazing pictures. While Julian and his second shooter were with us all day/ throughout the party, they did not stand out- they knew where to hide and position themselves to ensure that they captured the moment without being in the moment.

What I love most about my images and working with Julian is that he captured the essence of the day. From the big moments to the small- we have them all, and I could not be happier.

Incredible

Julian and Evgenia were absolutely incredible from the beginning. They were an easy choice for our October 2018 wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our photos. From our initial conversation until even after we received our photos, they always got back to us quickly and were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We also did our engagement photos with Julian and he made us feel so comfortable and made the process so fun. Many times staged photos can feel awkward but not with him. He has the ability to make it feel like you’re the only two people there and when it comes to those moments, that’s how it should feel. Their style is incomparable and they truly capture every detail flawlessly. We cannot say enough good things about them and are so thankful they were part of our day. Our venue was a new location for them and they were able to quickly scope it out and made the process flow seamlessly. We had a very large wedding party and they were able to herd the masses and ensured things moved along efficiently and came out beautifully. Throughout the night you couldn’t even tell they were there but they were able to capture moments we weren’t even aware of. They truly have a talent of capturing those candid moments. We are going to treasure our photos forever and this is all because of them.

Amazing! Would HIGHLY recommend!

I used Julian Ribinik for my wedding this past August and could not have been happier with the results. Julian specializes in shooting candid style photos and has hands down the most amazing editing skills! All of his photos are a little dark and moody and have a serious editorial feel, which I love! I was nervous about finding a photographer I loved, since I think that a lot of wedding photos could come out a little cheesy and forced- so when I found Julian, I knew he was the right fit for what we wanted! Though he typically shoots in the city/urban areas, we got married outdoors at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in the bright summer sun, and he still managed to make them look just as moody and editorial as all of his work! Him and his wife were also great during the day, I've been to weddings where the photographers feel like they're too in your face, but they were the total opposite - which resulted in amazing candid style photos throughout the whole day and the party at night! We absolutely LOVE our photos and would highly recommend this team to anyone!

Julian shot my wedding in October and was absolutely incredible! He was so warm, and kind at our first meeting. He listened to everything we wanted and made helpful suggestions. He helped us figure out how to get everything done we wanted, and did it beautifully! We had a large wedding party, but couldn't afford to have multiple photographers, but he made it work and didn't miss a thing! The photos came out beautifully and captured the day in its entirety. During the ceremony we asked that he stay in the back and not move around a lot, or be up at the front, since the ceremony was very sacred to us and our families. He didn't fight us on that and did exactly as we asked with no complaints. We could not be more happy with our choice to use Julian! I would recommend him to everyone.

We were thrilled with the work Julian and Evgenia did for our wedding! They are each skilled and talented photographers in their own right, so it was an added bonus when both were available to tag-team for our wedding. Our day-of shoot encompassed multiple indoor and outdoor locations throughout NYC and Long Island… not only were they accommodating and flexible, but the photos from each setting reflected the unique characteristics we were hoping they could capture. I loved working with Evgenia. Both Julian and Evgenia are so sweet, responsive, and accommodating - from day 1. They are "yes" people and take all of your requests seriously and to heart. They are easy going and made me less stressed throughout the day -- Evgenia is a calming influence and I was grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day! She captured our day and our love beautifully in a very organic way. She was never intrusive but after I received the photos I was so happy all the moments she captured -- I frequently thought to myself, "How did she get that shot?!" Julian and Evgenia were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. I fell in love with their work when I saw the pictures they took at my brother's wedding and saw how easy they were to work with that day. They responded so quickly to all of my questions and made my husband and I (two very camera-awkward people) feel really comfortable in front of the camera. It was also important to us that our photographer was not very obviously taking our pictures/ blocking our guests' views during the ceremony. I don't know how they accomplished this and were able to get the pictures that they did, but they 100% pulled it off. They're also the kind of people you want to stay friends with after the day is over...genuinely beautiful people who love what they do. I cannot say enough good things about working with them and our pictures are more than I could've hoped for. I can't stop looking at them! You will be so happy with your decision to work with these two!

Deciding to work with Julian and his team was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process! I saw his previous work and absolutely loved his approach and style. Prior to selecting Julian, he provided all of the details including everything there is to know about pricing and services and set up a meeting to discuss expectations. He is very technically proficient and has great equipment. I asked him to stay away from certain techniques, such as using a tilt-shift lens or post-processing to produce a similar effect, and to act more like a fly on the wall than an "up in everybody's business" photographer for the party pictures. He was very accomodating and I got exactly the pictures I wanted. We ended up working with Julian to produce 3 different albums (one for my wife and I, and one each for each set of our parents) and they are all wonderful.

Julian and his team are hands down the best of the best; his style is so natural and creative that he will capture your day like a storybook. He is incredibly professional, yet chill which made him and his team super easy to work with. He is truly an expert in his field and gave us so much advice, even pointed us in the direction of other vendors we needed which were all fantastic. My husband and I are a bit camera shy/awkward but Julian is all about capturing your natural selves in whatever environment you choose; we were so surprised that it didn't feel like we were posing at a cheesy function. He helped us feel very relaxed and most importantly we had a ton of fun with him. He and his team are worth every penny, this is an investment that you will cherish forever! They were early and had everything flowing throughout the night which was so impressive because there is just so much to capture on the big day; they would pop out of nowhere to get the perfect moments and do it with an ninja-like ease. They are incredibly efficient and thoughtful, and remember everyone and thing we wanted to capture plus some! It would be a mistake to wait too long to book with this vendor, they are widely recognized as one of the best, so act fast and be confident that you are making the best decision that you could make.

Julian is simply fantastic. He is warm, easy to work with, and responsive. I could email him at any time and know I would hear back within the hour- which gave me a great sense of comfort. He is eager to help in any way and has wonderful ideas. He even helped us find our videographer. Our close friends used him for their wedding and we knew eventually we would too when the time came because he did such a great job with them. He is great with people and truly captured every special moment. I especially love how the photos are edited- he has a different style than most photographers and we love the feel of every picture. Working with Julian and Evgenia was an absolute pleasure. First of all, they are insanely talented! Their photo-journalistic style is gorgeous, creative, dramatic, and captures all of those really special intimate moments. Not only are their photos amazing, but they are so responsive, sweet, and easy-going. On the day of our wedding, we had very bad weather and were quite worried that our photos would be ruined as we had planned to take most of the formal photos outside. Julian and Evgenia really stepped up by being super positive and coming up with amazingly creative ideas for alternative locations and shots. They even let us know that it stopped raining near the end of our reception so we could get a few late night shots outside, which we really appreciated. Overall, hiring Julian and Evgenia to capture our day was one of the best decisions we made of the entire wedding. Thanks guys!!

My husband and I had the most fantastic wedding photography experience with Julian and Evgenia Ribinik. Their photography service is exceptional and the two of them were our favorite wedding vendors in every aspect hands down.
While comparing the many different services online, we noticed that their quality of photography was superior to others and seemed like it was coming from a luxury wedding magazine. From the very first contact until after the wedding Julian and Evgenia were extremely prompt and responsive to all of our questions and concerns.
On both our engagement and wedding pictures they really captured who we are, which is difficult with people like us who are not used to taking photos. Their professional demeanor and outstanding talent at finding fantastic spots for shots really put us at ease. We knew our pictures would turn out amazingly!
Once the ceremony started they just melted into the background and were unnoticeable, but yet always there. They also did an amazing job at catching candid moments with everyone just having a great time!
We got some sneak-peak pictures just days after the wedding and four weeks later we received a link with the full gallery and edited favorites. As a final gift from Julian and Evgenia, we received a thumb drive with all of our pictures in a beautiful box.
Stellar ratings for Julian and Evgenia don’t do them enough justice and there are honestly not enough words to describe how happy and lucky we were to have these two on our wedding day. We would choose Julian and Evgenia Ribinik a million times over!

Julian and Evgenia are by far the most talented photographers we know. They are both so wonderful to work with and really made our wedding perfect by making sure to capture every moment. Ever since we received our wedding photos, the complements have been none stop. "Your photographers are amazingggg," "don't be surprised if you come over and see your wedding photos printed and framed!!" and "your wedding photos are one of a kind!" I ask my husband almost everyday if we could get married again, solely because I want Julian and Evgenia to take more pictures of my husband and I, my family and friends. Before I even met my husband, I knew when the time was right and it would be time to plan my wedding, Julian would be the man I would hire to photograph my special day. Fast forward a few years, and there I was planning my wedding day and talking to Julian about the photography details. He was so prompt to respond, answered all my crazy questions, some (actually, most) more than once, helped plan the day, offered great advice, and all in all was such a pleasure to work with. Him and his lovely wife managed to capture moments that happened in an instance, that to the blind eye, would not have been seen. Moments that happen in a blink of an eye. Moments that you want to remember forever. He is a master at what he does. A professional like no other. We had our wedding photos within a month of our wedding. Five months later, I still find myself looking through them on an every day basis. There is no other photographer that I would ever work with. I can barely put into words how amazing Julian Ribinik photography is. Our photographs are amazing. More than just posed pretty pictures, our wedding album captures the story of our day. As the bride and groom our wedding and everything leading up to it went by so quickly, but we are able to see small details we may have otherwise forgotten in the photos taken at our wedding. Of course our guests took pictures at the wedding and while they were so much fun, I worried because the up lighting at our venue seemed to show through in them. As soon as I saw Julian's work I didn't have to give any of that a second thought. More than just incredible photos Julian and Evgenia were incredibly quick to respond to my emails and any questions that I had. As a bride trying to juggle numerous vendors is quite a task, and not once did I feel stressed about our wedding photographers. That feeling of peace was invaluable during our wedding planning. I can't recommend them strongly enough. Our photos are the one thing we can look back on from our wedding day, and we are so happy that our wedding photographs are perfect.

Julian and his associate Peter did an amazing job capturing our wedding, from the people to the decorations to the food! They were great at leading the photography schedule but yet at the same time being inconspicuous when needed. Have grown up surrounded by art and good photography, photography was definitely one of the most important part of my wedding (took the most energy and time, months and months, looking for the right photographer); and Julian and Evgenia was the best choice we've made!

Their works are photojournalistic and artistic at the same time, and they are just superb at capturing the emotion and atmosphere of the event; each moment of our wedding and the faces of everyone were all captured so natural and so beautiful. People who have seen our photos raved about their emotionally-charged work, and not only are they so talented, but also they are exceptionally pleasant and patient people to work with!

Their price is very reasonable, considering the amount of time and effort of these TWO photographers put in together. Also, each of them has a slightly different unique style, which is a big bonus for us! (One scene, you get two different shots from different angles)

We recently used Julian Ribinik for our wedding photography, and to put it simply, we couldn't have been more impressed.

Julian himself is a a professional and personable guy, and we felt very comfortable with him. They (Julian and with his second shooter, Peter) arrived at our event plenty early to take some getting ready and family portrait shots.

Throughout our wedding day Julian was able to capture stunning shots of us getting ready, of our ceremony, and of our party - they even managed to captured some of the details we hadn't thought about during the day because we were so busy, and looking back at them is so much fun. He was even able to direct our family members into all of the family shots we wanted - including certain difficult family members.

Communication with Julian before and after the wedding was always pleasant. He was able to take our personal requests into account, and after the wedding the pictures were ready very quickly. And he was able to recommend (an equally great) videographer for us as well.

Even before our honeymoon was over, Julian was able to send us a couple of very quick highlights to post on our Facebook pages - to help make our relatives who couldn't attend jealous. And it wasn't much later before he sent us the rest of the pictures. The photos all came out absolutely wonderfully, beyond our expectations. Now we'll always remember how beautiful of a day it was.

Hopefully your event won't overlap with our next major family function, because we'll be working with him again. =) We couldn't be happier with our choice in Julian Ribinik photography, and highly recommend him

Where do we begin? We knew choosing the right photographer was on the top of our list when we were planning our wedding. Not only did we want gorgeous photos, most importantly, we wanted to find someone that made us feel comfortable. After speaking with countless photographers, we knew from the first time we spoke with Julian that we wanted to have him capture our wedding day! His calmness, laid back nature and ease made the decision easy to make. He took the time to explain his style and listened to our needs. Throughout the whole planning process, Julian was always quick to respond (even before we solidified him as our wedding photographer) and was genuinely happy to help. He never made us feel that we were a bother (even after e-mailing several times a day) which in my opinion is very important. When we thought things couldn’t get any better, we were graced with the presence of Julian AND his wife Evgenia on our wedding day. It was such a special surprise. Evgenia has a wonderful presence and they are truly the perfect pair. We are so grateful to have met them and so pleased that they captured the most amazing memories from our wedding day. Our photos are truly breathtaking. The best part about it was that we barely noticed they were there. We also loved how they posted sneak peeks of the photos right away while we were on our honeymoon. I am prone to worrying about money. For our wedding, we essentially scrapped all costs...the catering, the flowers, the venue...everything. But the one thing we invested in was photography. And it is the best investment we could have ever made. In fact, working with Evgenia at Julian Ribinik Photography was the best experience we ever could have asked for. It is the only time I can ever rememeber thinking to myself when paying for a service rendered...I wish I would have paid more!

Evgenia was more than a photographer. She was part of the family. Only 11 of us there...only immediate family...and she felt as if she WAS family! She blended in so fluidly into the most intimate of moments...capturing for us the contours of an existence too often lost...the feelings and thoughts and interactions that define our lives but that exist between the words we try to use to define them.

Seeing those pictures...breathtaking. Joyous. Heart-breaking. Beauty.

Never could we have imagined that anyone could have done what Evgenia did for us that day. I am fussy (much more than my wife) but she worked with me, with us. Made it about us. Made it about capturing the "real" and not "performing" real for the camera. She guided us and responded to us but also was able to lead us in a direction that yielded the kind of photos that will genuinely last a lifetime.

Early in our wedding planning, I thought a lot about what kind of photographer we should find and looking at all of their websites, but I kept finding myself coming back to Julian Ribinik. The elegance of Julian and Evgenia's work, both in their candids and posed photos fit perfectly with who we are and the style we wanted. Once we met them, I had zero doubt they would be perfect. They were so friendly, fun, and easy to work with. Evgenia did our engagement shoot, which was a lot of fun and got us even more excited for the big day. When our wedding day finally came, they were great - staying out of the way to let people relax and enjoy themselves, but knowing exactly where to be when to capture all the important moments. When they started showing us the shots they got it seems like they were everywhere at once! They captured everything, and the photos all convey that fun elegance we were looking for. We got a lot of amazing black and whites, and they even managed to make the day's somewhat dreary weather seem bright and spring-like! Selecting wedding vendors can be a very stressful process but the first time we met with Julian we knew he was the right photographer for us! He listened to the type of feel we were going for and more importantly made us feel very comfortable during our first shoot together, our engagement photos. After seeing his tremendous work , I couldn't wait to see our wedding photos!

We got married on a very snowy winter day in NYC and I was definitely worried how the pictures would come out. And sure enough the photos came out amazing!! We still have people asking if we rented a snow blower because the photos are almost surreal. I know this would not have been possible without Julian.

I don't even know where to begin!

My husband and I both agreed that photography for our wedding day was the most important piece to the puzzle. We spent a long time speaking with many different photographers, but Julian was the only one we actually met in person; because once we did, we were sold.

Julian and Evgenia are truly the best. For starters, they are extremely fast at responding to emails, which makes you feel like your wedding is just as important to them as it is to you. On the day of, they were on time and ready to roll. There was something very calming about the two of them. They were like flies on the wall and captured the feeling of every part of the day. I've been apart of a few weddings where the photographers are in your face, barking orders, but that is not Julian and Evgenia's style. They let things happen organically and the outcome is beautiful.

I had no idea what to expect our pictures to look like, but when I did (in record time no less, two weeks later!) my breath was taken away. They captured such beautiful moments that I would have never seen with my own two eyes. And for the ones I had seen, I saw it through someone elses; and that is something really special. Both my husband and I could not be happier with their services, and we plan to continue using them throughout our milestones together as husband and wife.

Looking for vendors, especially photographers, can be overwhelming, but stop looking. Hire Julian and Evgenia, you'll be so glad you did.

i want to start off by saying that I'm heavy into photography myself, so finding a good photographer was on my priority list!
Let me tell you, I hit jackpot with Julian and his beautiful wife Evgenia. From the moment we met and went over all the details they made me feel very comfortable. They have tremendous experience in wedding photography and they deal with any kind of situation very professionally and with joy! Both were there to capture every moment of our wedding without being intrusive. They are funny, upbeat and had a great attitude. They put us at ease when we were stressed and made us smile and laugh. All that is very important since you'll be spending a whole day with them!
I was pleasantly surprised to get the pictures in such timely manner, just as they promised, because I know how much work actually goes into post processing . It seems that they worked day in and day out to deliver us the pictures.
Now on to the actual photos. One word- STUNNING! They look like they belong on a cover of a bridal magazine ! Everyone comments on how gorgeous our pictures are and I recommend these guys to everyone I know and I will keep recommending them. We were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful photography of our wedding. My husband is a professional photographer and I used to model wedding gowns, so naturally we had very high expectations. We picked Julian and Evgenia as our photography studio for our wedding because they put us at ease with all these concerns, besides the fact they do absolutely stunning work. Initially, Julian’s work blew us away viewing his pictures online, but meeting him and his wife in person is what set them apart from other photography studios. There was a personal connection with them; they are great people that were in the process of planning their own wedding. They understood all of the intricacies and stresses that we were going through. They were awesome with responding right away to any questions we had via emails, texts and phone calls. This was important because we were planning a wedding out of state, Julian kept us at ease. The day of the wedding, Julian took charge to capture certain pictures, but most of the time he let the day flow capturing amazing photos that represent how awesome our special day was. His photojournalistic style provided us with the most emotional, stunning, hilarious keepsakes we could ever imagine! We are so thankful and lucky to have picked the perfect photographer for our perfect day.

I LOVED having Julian as our wedding photographer! He was absolutely amazing to work with, and the pictures were incredible! He was extremely responsive and easy to coordinate with before the wedding. He was also very helpful in making sure that I got all of the pictures and everything that I wanted out of my photographer. Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was one of the most important things. From the minute we decided to work with these guys, we knew we made the right decision! They were extremely professional and were always available to answer our questions and make suggestions. Our engagement session was awesome! It really helped us to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and get the initial awkwardness out of the way before our wedding day. There aren't enough words to describe just how impressed we are with Julian and the team. Besides giving us gorgeous pictures that we keep looking at, Julian is also attentive, positive, and just so great! And did I mention that he responds to every question in what seems like seconds?

We had only a few months to plan a formal wedding, and from the moment we sat down with Julian we felt like we were in good hands. On the day of the wedding we felt comfortable and at ease, and several guests even commented on how nice our photographers are!

The pictures came out better than we could have imagined - they're lively, colourful, and portray moments we want to remember forever. We cannot imagine having anyone else there to capture these precious memories!

Julian & his wife were almost invisible the day of our wedding. They took the most candid & special shots of our day with it feeling like they were in the way. They have such an eye for seeing what is most important its a bit surreal. The communication before the wedding was also wonderful. He kept in touch & helped setup the timing for everything photo-wise. Professional & very personal at the same time. I couldn't have asked for more. The shots were all very candid as we discussed and truly reflected the atmosphere and energy of the day.

Choosing Julian Ribinik as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. I can't even put in words how happy we are with our wedding photos. He is absolutely incredible! We knew at our first meeting with Julian that he was exactly who we were looking for. He was fun, helpful, creative, and kept our whole wedding party laughing all day. Even though we had to make a last minute venue change, Julian knew the ins and outs of the new venue and made great suggestions for pre-wedding photo locations in the area. We were SO happy that we decided to use Julian Ribinik as our wedding photographer!! Julian and Evgenia were such a pleasure to work with! I honestly have not one complaint about Julian. I couldn't be any happier with the service and the product. The biggest complaint I hear from brides is that they are never able to enjoy their day; With Julian, that was not the case. I didn't even notice he and Evgenia were there! I didn't have to pose every second for a picture nor worry if he was taking any. I was able to enjoy my day without being bothered by anyone and my pictures came out amazing! He really is such an amazing person. If you don't use him, I don't know what to tell you. Oh, and best of all, I literally got my pictures in a month. Honestly, every other photographer I have dealt with for events gave me my pictures 3-6 months later. (Some even a year later) Julian Ribinik Photography is #1 in my book. If you do book him, you won't regret it.

I absolutely loved working with Julian and Evgenia. From the moment we met Evgenia for our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable. In fact, I had no intention of having "getting ready" pictures taken because I thought I would feel uncomfortable having someone there while I was spending time with my girls. After meeting, Evgenia, I immediately extended my package and am so glad I did. Julian and Evgenia did such a wonderful job at our wedding. The captured so many moments without ever being intrusive. Their photos are absolutely beautiful and really captured the emotions of the day for us. Every time we look at the pictures, it is like we are back at our wedding. They (together with Dave) did an amazing job of photographing all of the guests at our wedding. They were both extremely responsive, wonderful to deal with and had our pictures done sooner than they estimated. I chose Julian based on his gallery alone and felt very confident with my choice, but honestly the pictures only tell half the story. Julian and Evgenia were low stress and fun. They will truly add to your day and give you creative, beautiful pictures. We have wonderful portraits of our family, but most importantly to us, we have a narrative of our day with all of the people who mean the most to us. We had such an amazing experience with Julian Ribinik Photography! We wanted a very simple, low-key wedding at NYC Clerk's office -- just the two of us (in a state where we could be legally married) -- but we also wanted photos to remember & share the day with family and friends back home. Everything was just perfect. Coordinating with Julian (long distance) was a breeze. David, our photographer, was magnificent. He captured the ceremony beautifully (AND served as our legal witness!). Then, he went all over lower Manhattan with us (in the rain!) and composed us in such amazing shots in the city and the architecture. The results were perfect. Everything about the whole process was calm & relaxed, but so professional. Couldn't have been more pleased!

I can't even put in words how happy we are with our wedding photos. We honestly just sit and look through all 5,000+ pictures in our free time to relive the best night of our lives. It is going to be impossible for us to narrow down the pictures for albums and prints. We are just so absolutely thrilled with the pictures. My husband and I often joke that we should just hire Julian (and the videographers we used through Julian's recommendation LucentVisionStudios) to take pictures for us when we go on trips or to parties since our own photog skills are not nearly as great.

Julian has a way to find really amazing picture opportunities and capturing moments in a way that are so real and beautiful without looking staged or contrived. Every photo he took of our wedding shows pure happiness and fun and doesn't look posed or fake. They just capture the true emotions of the day.

Of all things that had to do with our wedding, having Julian as our photographer for our wedding was by far the best choice! Julian shot our wedding in September of 2012. It was cloudy when we were taking pictures outside, and Julian was tracking the weather on his phone. We took a lot of good pictures, and Julian made us go inside the limo a minute before it started raining. I am very happy we had such a smart potographer who was able to take pictures of us outside on a rainy day and who helped me avoid ruining my dress. Overall, Julian knows what he is doing. His style is candid, and he doesn't miss any detail. He knows exactly where and how to shoot to make unique pictures, but he is also willing to listen to what customers want. Hiring a good photographer is like insurance for your wedding: you spend so much time and money on everything and you want to make sure you will have good memories of it. With Julian, you are in good hands!

Julian is the best! We couldn't have found a better wedding photographer. My wife and I were blown away by the photos. Besides the obvious quality, creativity, and attention to detail, the thing that surprised me the most was how he captured every single moment! We were so surprised when we saw the photos how he and the other photographer seemed to be everywhere and captured every special moment throughout the whole day - and yet we really didn't even notice them!

Another thing that surprised me was his creativity. During the cocktail hour we wanted to break away for a bit and take a few photos on the street in front of the Flatiron building. Those were some of the most amazing and creative shots taken. Besides beautiful and impromptu street photos, park photos, and of course the photos in front of the Flatiron, Julian even stopped a NYC tour bus, got us on it, and took some great photos of us with cheering tourists looking on! The whole experience was so much fun. And that's another thing about hiring a wedding photographer - to actually get along with them and have fun together the day of the event!

Our wedding day turned out perfect, and it was definitely one of the happiest days of my life. And it feels so good to be able to re-live each moment by looking back on the photos. My wife and I planned most of the wedding by ourselves (from the decoration to the entertainment) and we were so relieved that one thing we never had to worry about was the photography. Even before we saw the pictures, I knew they were going to turn out perfect. And that peace of mind went a long way. It can seem like somewhat of a gamble on how your wedding photographs will turn out, but with Julian there's no second guessing it. Just take a look at his work - it speaks for itself. In terms of value and quality, the competition has nothing on him. To me, he could easily charge twice the amount he currently does and it would definitely be worth it!

Photography was definitely one of the most important things for me and my husband when it came to wedding vendors and Julian definitely exceeded our expectations. I just wanted to take this time to say how much I appreciated working with Julian Ribinik and his wife. They were both very easy to work with. Julian makes you feel comfortable every step of the way and he makes sure to pay attention to the details that you want him to pay attention to. He always wanted to make sure that I was ok in the process and I wasnt expecting the photographer to "cater" to my needs but needless to say, he went above and beyond his duties. His packages are very affordable which is the main reason I decided to choose his services. My guests and random people who have seen my pictures can't stop complimenting on how nice the pictures look and that they look different from any other wedding pics and engagement pics that they've seen. Julian was superb! I cannot say enough good things about this Photographer or his work. After reviewing Julian’s amazing work and meeting him for the first time I knew I had found “the one”. He has a great way of putting brides at ease. There was so much going on in planning a wedding so to have someone who is very professional and knowledgeable with what they do is a major plus. Julian was just an email, text, phone call or facebook message away had any questions arise so A+++ for responsiveness.
Julian did our engagement session in central park and our photos came out lovely! The day of the engagement session was the first day that my husband (who hates taking photos) met Julian and he gave me his stamp of approval! By the end of the session my once quirky and camera shy husband to be somehow managed to blossom and got comfortable in front of Julian’s camera. Our Engagement session made our wedding day a breeze!

After countless meetings with other photographers we were overjoyed when we met Julian. He understood that we didn't want typical pictures and wanted someone to capture the day rather than have us pose all over the place. Julian was professional, kind, creative and super talented! Julian and his wife are amazing. The both times that we worked with them, they showed up on time which is a big thing for me. During the day of the wedding, they made me feel so relaxed and while they were taking pictures, they would also check in with me to make sure that I was doing ok. They were also very patient throughout the day. I heard from guests that they did a great job of taking candid pictures and because of that they can't wait to see what those pictures are actually going to look like. I also displayed some of our engagement photos during the reception and our guests fell in love with them. They were very discrete and not in any one's way. I've heard stories about photographers that wouldn't leave the couples alone through out the whole night because they wanted to make sure that they got certain posed shots but Julian and his wife were the total opposite. They made sure to get the important shots and whenever I wanted a certain picture, they were right there to take it. I promise you that you will not be dissappointed. I will make sure to have another event so that I can use them again. They are awesome.

We hired Julian for our small wedding less than a month before the scheduled date and he was very accommodating. We were a little nervous at first since we didn’t know anything about him and chose him solely based on his sample portfolios. But at our first meeting he was professional, very accommodating of our schedule and gave us a very fair price so we felt that we made a good choice. At both the engagement shoot and the day of the wedding, Julian’s photographer David, was very friendly, humorous and put everyone at ease. He was very experienced and knew great spots to get great creative shots and lighting. The turnaround time for both the engagement and wedding photos was really fast, which we really appreciated. And most importantly the photos were amazing. They were a great combination of both traditional and creative shots, with a very dramatic modern feel, which was exactly what we were looking for.

In summary, you can trust Julian with the great responsibility of capturing your big day. His photos are both beautiful and creative. Julian as a person is very professional, responsive and a really nice guy. I recommend Julian’s studio without reservation.

Don’t look any further… just hire him! I mean it!!!

Where do I start telling you about Julian – not only is he an amazing photographer but he’s supper nice and so easy going. I didn’t want a “traditional” photographer. I envisioned our pictures to be very candid. Julian provided just that.

I had to plan our NY wedding from 2,500 miles away and Julian was by far the only vendor I dealt with that I wasn’t stressed out about – not even a bit. Julian responded to every single e-mail in record time and even addressed my silly questions =P

On our first meeting I had asked if he had a fish eye lens and then completely forgot about it. Julian, of course, had remembered and some of those shots are quite funny :)

The day of the wedding went so smoothly. He managed to take all the photos I wanted and then some. He was so unobtrusive that we barely noticed him there. We’ve gotten, and continue to get, so many compliments on our pictures.

I’m glad he was there to capture our special day and would highly recommend hiring him.

Julian Ribinik is a consummate professional; he is very responsive to your questions in a timely manner, he’s very punctual and has a wonderful and friendly personality. He inspires so much confidence. His rates are reasonable & and they include so many great things that other photographers do not include. For instance on our wedding we received the greatest customized guestbook I’ve ever seen which included photos from our engagement shoot. He also included little pictures of us on every reception table with a note to let the guests know when they could view the photos. The guests loved them.

Choosing our photographer was the hardest vendor to choose as my fiance’s brother is a photographer (but we didn’t want to ask him to take photos as he was the best man) so we were very picky when it came to our wedding day photographer. After reviewing Julian’s work on his website and meeting with him in person – we knew he was the photographer for us. The day of our engagement session at the Brooklyn waterfront we were running late due to traffic and Julian put us immediately at ease when we arrived and helped us relax and enjoy ourselves. As we are normally uncomfortable in front of the camera, it showed how great Julian was as we were relaxed and the photos looked amazing. Julian is so punctual and efficient that after our engagement shoot and wedding he had all of our pictures up on links and Facebook with slideshows and music and he sent us all our original photos on cd within a couple weeks. Most people I know are still waiting for their wedding photos 1 year after their weddings. We can’t wait to start working on choosing our photos for our wedding album but the only problem is he took so many great photos we don’t know how to narrow it down!

Julian did a gorgeous job on our wedding photos and he was so unobtrusive we barely noticed him & his team. There are many endearing and fun moments he captured throughout the day. The feedback from our guests after seeing our online photos is overwhelmingly positive.

I would highly recommend Julian to anyone who is looking for a photographer, he is the simply wonderful!

Julian was a dream to work with. He is a very talented photographer and a generous, kind man. When we initially met with him he answered every question, had many complete weddings available for us to look at, and gave absolutely no sales pitch at all. Over the months leading up to the wedding, he responded to every phone call or e-mail immediately and in such a courteous, friendly manner. He was a calm, soothing presence on the day of the wedding. He gave us an amazing price. Our photos were available on-line in less than 2 weeks time; but we haven't ordered any prints or albums yet. I am sure they will be beautiful.

After seeing a countless amount of vendors picking a photographer was the easiest thing we did. Right from the start Julian makes you comfortable and confident in his work. His style is unique and he is an expert at capturing all the right moments. On our wedding day Julian was not only a photographer he was also a friend.While taking pictures he would also bring me water and make sure I was OK during otherwise very stressful moments. The fact that Julian spoke Hebrew and Russian was extremely helpful in communicating with our multilingual family. I can't think of anything negative to say about Julian and look forward to using him for all our events for years to come.

I want to be a reminder to ALL Brides… In my opinion, the most important part of your wedding day (besides your Groom) is your PHOTOGRAPHER!

When my husband & I were planning our Spring NYC wedding, I was determined to find a fabulous photog who would understand the vision I had for my big day.

I met Julian Ribinik about 5 months before our big day & fell head-over-heels for him. Not only was he super professional, but also he really listened to what I wanted & made sure we where always on the same page. His rates were reasonable & he was extremely easy to get in contact with. If I called, e-mailed, or texted him a question…he responded right away which was so great.

Our engagement session in Central Park was breath taking, & because we loved the photos so much, we hired Julian to tag along to shoot our rehearsal dinner.

Needless to say, Julian did a gorgeous job on our wedding photos. He really captured our day in every shot. I have received so many compliments from all of my guests, as well as perfect strangers on how amazing my wedding photos are. They are A Work of Art!

My husband & I will always cherish our wedding photos & of course, we will be hiring Julian to take our maternity pics when that day comesJ

I had the pleasure of having Julian as my wedding photographer and I have been so happy with my decision!. He is a highly professional and talented photographer. If I only had one chance in my lifetime to review one vendor for my wedding, it would be Julian Ribinik. The impression he left on my wife and I are to never be forgotten. In such a precious moment as a wedding where you only get one chance to get things right, Julian exceeded all expectations with breath taking photos of the happiest day of our lives. His tremendous skill only surpassed by his genuine desire to please and make others happy. Julian Ribinik was simply a pleasure to work with! He was very accessible and easy to talk to prior to the wedding. He quickly got a sense of the venue and style of the wedding. While taking pictures, he brought with him the highest level of creativity and fun. He had some very unique ideas for taking pictures during the wedding that made the portraits enjoyable to take. Julian is a fantastic photographer and we couldn't be happier with our choice. I would describe Julian's style as photojournalistic, dramatic, unique, powerful, modern and artistic. Both his shooting and editing techniques are top-notch! Julian was wonderful to work with.
He was very prompt to respond to any questions we had, and always encouraged us to reach out. On the day of the wedding, Julian and his second shooter were extremely warm, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Their process for the whole day is solid: Julian steers between candid shots and more formal portraits; he has amazing 'signature' looks, but is also a calm and confident improviser.
The final images that we received were amazing. Their ability to capture powerful, candid moments in such a stylized way is incredible. Julian delivered his favorite, edited shots within the timing promised; we then chose the remaining shots we wanted to be edited. Those remaining shots took an additional couple months to be edited, but were worth the wait. Overall, we can't recommend Julian and his team highly enough. He's an inspirational photographer and a trusted pro.

Our first encounter with Julian Ribinik Photography was at a friend’s wedding (where I caught the bouquet). From the moment Julian and Evegina emerged into the bridal suite, to the church and to the reception they never stopped smiling, laughing and dancing. In my eyes, this meant their work would shine in their photographs; and shine did they! I was so impressed with their work it was only natural to hire them as our wedding photographers. Julian and his assistant, David, were hands down professional, humorous and wonderful. Julian and David arrived on time to each location and were very unitrusive. I can't even remember a time when I felt they were there. Except for the formal pictures of course!
Our main goal for our wedding pictures was to trust someone who would capture the true emotions throughout the day - and that's what we have.
Another important piece of information is the customer service. Julian always answered each and every email I sent his way with professionalism, there was never a "silly" question to ask.
Dan and I didn't even hesitate to look at another wedding photographer.

One word describes our experience with Julian Ribinik Photographers "Fabulous".

Our wedding was intimate and private, as a second wedding and it being us two, we decided last minute that it would take place in Central Park, New York City
.
I being one that takes pictures of everything!! (Creating memories with my camera), it was important to me that professional photos be taken on our special day. This way we would have beautiful memories to share with our family and friends back home.

Needless to say, we made the right choice. From the first contact via email, Julian took the time to explain the process, paired us with "Falcon" our photographer who from the moment you meet, you feel a sense of kindness and calmness. The morning of my wedding it was 36 degrees, I was worried I was going to look stiff and rigid! NO WAY! Our pictures came out beautiful!
The natural poses and scenic choices she made for us was incredible.

Julian took the time to call us on our wedding day that for me really showed he cares about his clients, big or small.

HIGHLY Recommend! 5 STARS!!

Julian and Evgenia are incredible! I fell in love with their work and actually chose my venue based on their photography (Gramercy Park Hotel). They're SUCH professionals, so excellent at their craft, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Evgenia and Tanya photographed our wedding; both did an impeccable job. The pictures came out even better than my husband and I imagined, and they captured the spirit of the evening perfectly.

Choosing a photographer was the most important choice I made while planning my wedding; I didn’t care much for most of the details, but wanted a photographer that was going to capture the venue well, capture genuine guest happiness & emotion (vs. insincere or posed photos), and make us all feel at ease. Evgenia did just that, and we now have the (gorgeous) pictures to prove it!

We found Julian through the Knot since he was voted Best of 2010 and we were not disappointed. We first worked with him on our engagement sessions which were so much fun on 2 locations! The photos were beautiful and we used them in our wedding. I couldn't wait to see what type of shots Julian would capture for the big day. We received our proofs a couple of weeks ago and I am so happy! I thing I loved most was the mix of photos - natural, portraits, action, and of course the romantic :) It is really tough to choose our favorites for the wedding album. Julian is great to work with and makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend him to any of my friends.

Evgenia and John shot my July wedding at Dyker Beach Golf Course and did an incredible job! Not only were they so easy to work with on the day of the wedding, but the pictures came out beautifully! They really put us at ease on the day of by arriving early and scoping out places on the property to take photos and spent so much time photographing every single detail of the getting ready process and the wedding itself. The pictures themselves were stunning, unique and unexpected. Everyone who has seen my photos has commented on how artistic and interesting they are--not the typical wedding photos that everybody else has. They also took fantastic photos of my guests, which I am so happy to have. They truly captured the overall spirit of the day and I am so excited to have these photos as mementos for the rest of my life!

I would just caution people when booking this photographer. I booked Julian for my engagement wedding, and his wife was assigned to be our main photographer. The engagement shot went really well and so I had high hopes for the wedding. His wife and another female photographer showed up for the wedding, and everything went pretty smoothly getting ready and the ceremony. Why I'm writing this review 3 years later is because I'm still a bit upset about the process following. Anyone who has gotten married knows that it is impossible to keep track of everything, and you are relying on the photographer to help wrangle people and find the best possible locations / angles / shots so you can capture as much as you can as the day whizzes by. Where we got married had beautiful grounds including a fountain and a lake, and they chose to shoot us in the freaking parking lot - you can see cars in the background of some of the group shots. Maybe that should have fallen some to me to direct them, but it's pretty lazy to not scout out locations and concepts for the shoot ahead of time, and just settle for what's closest. Also what I thought sucked was that they just gathered people who were in the wedding party plus immediate family for the group shots - I found out later that shot lists are common for this, but we were not asked to provide. In general, I felt like they coasted the second half of the day and during the reception I basically had to tell them to follow my husband and I around to get photos with anyone. They did not make anything easy and because I didn't know what I needed to keep track of, I'll never have certain shots I would have liked to - when we were in the plannign stage and I showed them a few ideas I saw on Pinterest of shots / angles, they shot me down to be like "we don't do that," but didn't try to offer any sort of vision or brainstorming with me. It was arrogant and part of me is sorry I used them. Just be pushier than I was is my only advice.
