From our very first conversation, she understood my vision and elevated it beyond anything I could have imagined. Every detail — from the décor to the timing to the smallest finishing touches — was handled with creativity, precision, and pure passion.
    Judy doesn’t just plan events; she creates experiences. The atmosphere she designed was stunning, seamless, and unforgettable. Guests are still talking about how beautiful and flawlessly organized everything was! What impressed me most was her calm professionalism — she anticipated needs before they even arose and handled everything behind the scenes so I could truly enjoy the celebration stress-free.

    Judy is the best!

    This was my first baby shower/ event. I knew I wanted it to be special. I had vision boards and inspo picture that Judy turned into a reality. She worked with my budget and made helpful recommendations that still aligned with my vision. I would definitely recommend Judy and her team to anyone who wants to turn any event big or small into something magical- she’s the best! Thank you so muchh!!

    September 2025

    I got married in Sept and hired Judy to be my wedding planner.  Immediately i was put at ease with how knowledgeable and efficient Judy's task plan was. I never had to worry because she make sure every vendor was doing what they were suppose to. She was very easy to communicate with and just a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend hiring Judy if you want the best of the best

    Without the help of Judy, we honestly don’t know if we would have been able to have such a smooth and stress-free wedding experience.     Sweet 16 Review

    Judy and her team transformed my daughter’s Sweet 16 into a true fairytale! Our theme was Butterflies and Roses, Once Upon a Time, and the moment we walked into the room, it felt like we had stepped straight into a storybook. Soft roses in blush and ivory paired perfectly with delicate butterfly accents that seemed to flutter across the tables and walls.

    Her attention to detail was nothing short of magical from the floral arch framing the cake to the whimsical lighting that made the room glow. My daughter’s face lit up the second she saw it, and our guests were in awe, many saying they had never seen anything so beautiful at a Sweet 16.

    Judy didn’t just decorate, she created an atmosphere that made the night unforgettable. She took our vision and elevated it into something even more breathtaking than we imagined. I’m forever grateful for the love and creativity she poured into every detail.

    Great business experience

    It was a pleasure working with Judy Designs. We had such a great experience working with her that, without a doubt, we would hire her again!

    What first drew our attention to her was seeing her previous work. Once we hired her, we quickly realized that not only does she have a creative eye, but she also provides outstanding service. Her communication was amongst the best of all the vendors I’ve ever worked with. She was always responsive, whether I called or texted. She was open to answering all our questions and took the time to listen to our ideas while offering helpful suggestions.

    Overall, if you’re looking for a great planner or event designer, save yourself the hassle of having to look elsewhere, she’s the one!

    I recently hired Judy by design for my daughter's quinceañera and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!
    From start to finish, the team was professional, creative, and attentive to every detail. The decor was absolutely stunning exactly what my daughter envisioned, and even better. They truly brought the theme to life with beautiful floral arrangements, elegant table settings, and thoughtful touches throughout the space.
    Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything looked, and the photos came out amazing thanks to the beautiful backdrop they created.

    Where do I start Judy made my dreams of the perfect 1st birthday party for my son a reality 4-6-25 ! Judy’s level of professionalism and her willingness to go above and beyond to create the perfect event bought me to tears ! Judy was extremely hands on, detailed and knowledgeable of the event space “Lights On Kent, Our PAC MAN theme party decor will be talked about for years to come ! Her staff was professional, dedicated and willing to make the event go smoothly hour after hour . I would recommend Judy to anyone that wants top tier service and to most importantly work closely with one of the greatest to master this craft of event planning! She will forever be our go to as we continue to capture and create beautiful memories with our family !

    Amazing overall!

    Judy and her team were absolutely amazing! We gave her a few inspo ideas that we liked and she made sure the decorations for our baby shower were what we envisioned. Her communication skills were top tier and every time I had a question or concern, she put me at ease with how the event planning was going on her end. Definitely will work with her again for any future events for myself & definitely recommending her for any of my extended family events!

    Alice in wonderland first birthday

    If you were looking for an event planner for any party. I would definitely recommend Judy, but words cannot describe the Detail she put into my daughter’s first birthday party. We spoke about so many things that I wanted to include. We went over so many info pictures for treats and cake and balloons and everything that we spoke about not only was there, but exceeded my expectations.
    1000/10 will be coming back !

    Judy brought my wedding vision to Life!

    Judy is amazing! She will give you the reassurance that you need if you are feeling stressed with planning. We didn't have to worry about a thing - we felt so reassured that she had everything taken care of. 

Judy honestly made our whole wedding weekend everything we wanted and more. From helping with decor to being there on the day of to Coordinate, Judy made the whole experience so enjoyable. All the stress of planning a wedding was taken away and we were able to enjoy the whole process. On the day it was amazing to see our whole vision come to life and we cannot thank Judy enough!

    Judy is phenomenal! From bringing visions to life and executing decor, to providing excellent service. My mother in law hired Judy to stay at my event to coordinate, and it was the best decision ever.     Judy coordinated our wedding this past weekend and I was absolutely blown away. She took my inspiration and made it into reality.     Judy is extremely great at what she does and I’m glad I booked with her. You tell her your vision and she executes that down to the T. I had the pleasure of hiring her for my child’s first birthday party and she provided everything she said she would and went above and beyond our requests. From the moment we spoke and I shared my vision for my boho romantic wedding, she understood and gave me the assurance that my wedding would be my dream come true.     Judy's Professionalism , communication skills , &' How patient she is when it comes to helping plan your event is deserving of 5 stars across the board . This was my first event ( Babyshower ) done by Judy .. Yet alone my first child also and Judy made it so special . She gave me exactly what I asked for , fair with pricing , the budget you give her she keeps you in it , &' She's very honest .     Judy! I can not thank you enough for all you did to coordinate our big day. From start to finish you were amazing. You were so organized, responsive, dedicated and kind.     Daughter's Sweet 16

    Thank you thank you. I can’t begin to tell you how appreciative I am for all that you did! You truly transformed the venue into something spectator! It was more than I could imagine! My daughters sweet 16 was beyond BEAUTIFUL!!! Everyone was just blown away and still as of today is raving about it. For the short time we had in preparing for this event I can't thank you enough for all your patience and your creative details. From the entryway décor, the flower and candles centerpieces, the balloons & the beautiful backdrop, it was shear perfection. Every single detail was mind blowing. I enjoyed working with you and look forward to working together again!

    After over a year and a half of planning, we walked into my daughter's sweet 16 and truly were speechless. Judy and her team made my daughter's vision come to life and her dream a reality.     Expect your vision to come to life.

    Judy and her team will take any vision to life. They did my daughters and niece combined birthday a Boho Chic theme. I communicated my vision and they delivered. What is great about Judy and her team, is that they are your one stop event planner. No need to find multiple vendors trying to put your events together. Decor, even florals, treats, cake, photography, entertainment, soft play. Anything you like Judy can make come to life. Friendly staff and very helpful. They will make sure everything is perfect.

    Do not hire her. Worst Day Planner ever. Unprofessional, rude and condescending. All she provided was a STRESSFUL day!

    Breech of contract she wasn't there to set up as stated in the contract. Was confrontational, judgmental and demeaning and simply rude. Didn't accept any responsibility for her errors. Doesn't follow detailed instructions on vision for decorations. Her staff repeatedly asked my daughters how to set up the center pieces and napkins. No coordination with the other vendors. She made disparaging remarks about items we chose as part of our theme. Ms. Lopez complained that she had other events at the same time. Project and time management is her responsibility, not mine. She should not take on more jobs than she has the bandwidth to accomplish successfully. She literally failed in every aspect of professionalism, planning, ability to organize and project execution. All she gave me was total STRESS!!!
    A week later we had a second ceremony in Puerto Rico and that experience with our Day planner was total perfection on all levels. I didn't have a worry the entire time! (MGT Events). ALL our other venders in both wedding locations were totally professional and exceeded our wedding vision.

    Same couple , with their DIY ideas . Late to the venue with their boxes full of outdated plastic plates and flowers . I will review this client with 0 stars. Next time I will trust my instincts . I will not work with materials I used in the 90’s. If you want to DIY then you should DIY.

    Absolutely disappointing

    JBD was hired to coordinate everything for the day of the event. I had developed my theme and communicated my vision and wishes to Ms. Lopez very clearly. I designed my own centerpieces, purchased all the materials including decorations needed to bring my vision to fruition. I communicated with Ms. Lopez via emails with explicit details as to what I wanted and exactly how I wanted everything laid out. I even included pictures so that there would be absolutely no confusion as to what I wanted and how I wanted everything set up. I brought Ms. Lopez to the venue to physically do a walk through in order to be crystal clear on what my expectations were.

    About a month before the ceremony Ms. Lopez expressed that she needed more people in order to accomplish setting up the venue which was to hold approximately 100 people. Throughout the process it became clear to me that through constant redundant questions, that Ms. Lopez was not reading or comprehending the updated emails which described everything I was providing and how it was supposed to be set up. About two weeks out it became clear that she couldn't provide the full service day of the event planning and management that I desired and understood when we first contracted her. Then began the back and forth arguments with me as to what decorations she wanted to use versus what my wishes were and what I had already created. Per her request, I arranged for additional people to help Ms. Lopez setup. Then it came to light that was would not be providing the “Day of Wedding Coordination” which was originally discussed and contracted, but rather simply setup the hall and then leave and then return to break it all down. Note: we are having two ceremonies and my Event coordinator for the second event is literally handling everything from beginning to end.

    Ms. Lopez’s demeanor throughout this process became increasingly confrontational, judgmental, and demeaning and simply rude.

    On the day of the event, we had arranged to have Ms. Lopez, her staff, and the additional help that I arranged to meet at the venue at 3 pm to set up. Her staff and my helpers including my adult children were there to set up, but she wasn’t; which is a breach of the contract. Her staff asked my daughters how to set up the centerpieces, the Champagne flutes, napkins, etc... One of her crew called Ms. Lopez and asked where to place the napkins and she told them to use their better judgement...

    There was no coordination with the other vendors at all which is also in the contract: "Planning, coordination, management and execution of event details!!!!
    I worked hard at creating "our vision" She arbitrarily changed things. I specifically told her I did not want flowers as table centerpieces, but rather I wanted the candles and glass candle holders that I bought and provided. She put her own decorations with flowers on the table anyway!

    Souvenirs, specialty cups, other materials that I bought and boxed and labeled specifically with what should go where was not put out. Cups with the Bride and groom’s name written on it that I provided (and detailed in my email) were not placed on our sweetheart table.

    I have never had such an unprofessional experience with a vendor. Her lack of etiquette (on All levels) decorum, and just plain kindness was appalling. She made completely disparaging remarks about items we chose as part of our theme. It was our wedding and our vision NOT her’s!!! Perhaps she is used to working with people that tolerate that condescending, mean, and unprofessional behavior. We are not and my guests and family members that I sent to help her do HER job did not expect or deserve that kind of treatment either.

    Ms. Lopez was contracted to provide a service. While her thoughts and ideas may be solicited and considered, the final decision belongs to the client. We hired her, not the other way around. Moreover, the attitude and sarcasm was atrociously disrespectful.

    Her job was simple: take the client's vision and execute it. I went to extreme lengths to provide her specific details on how I wanted things set up. All she had to do was read. Ms. Lopez complained that she had other events at the same time. Project and time management is her responsibility, not mine. She should not take on more jobs than she has the bandwidth to accomplish successfully. She literally failed in every aspect of professionalism, planning, ability to organize and project execution. As a professional executive Afro-Latino family, we expect more.

    When I started speaking to the bride a few months ago I expressed to her that we usually don’t set up events when the client purchases so many things. I asked the bride not to purchase so many outdated items because it would cause confusion . Against my instincts I took this project. We will longer take DIY projects . If you want to DIY then you should DIY. Our company deals with many events on a weekly bases and we have never experienced such confusion. The venue provided 3 hours for this set up . My team was on site at 2:50pm for a 3pm set up . The items that were needed to set up the tables arrived at 3:42pm. The boxes were incorrectly labeled . Many items were added to the set up that were not previously discussed . Many items that were discussed were not at the venue. They added paper plates and plastic cups to a set up with glass chargers ( that was not agreed on). The bride provided large baskets for the bathrooms that didn’t even fit on the small sinks in the venue. The daughter of the bride was so rude because she wanted to add personalized beverage napkins to a dinner set up that already had cloth napkins . I added many items to this set up trying to upgrade the look . Our record stands for itself . We have received many 5 star reviews through the years . I apologize if the experience was a negative one , but I myself will not put my team in such a bad position again . My contract clearly states that I will provide staff to set up and break down . It doesn’t say I will be present the whole time . I was in constant contact with my team . The people that the bride sent to “supervise “ were very confused as well . We finished the set up at 545. The caterer was not ready , the venue was not ready , the DJ was just arriving . Did everyone get a bad review ?
