Loved Melissa!
Melissa was an amazing coordinator to work with from Jubilee Wedding and events. Her pricing was very competitive and it was also so convenient that they also rent out decor and other wedding items. In the planning process she helped me figure out timelines as well as let me use a planning software where I could plan the seating chart and keep all of my things in one place. On the day Melissa and her assistant helped set up all of our decorations, coordinate where wedding party and family should be, and she also helped take down a lot of our decor. We also rented the selfie photobooth station from her which was amazing!! it was very sleek and easy to use. The whole day went very smoothly thank to her and her team!Melissa was an amazing coordinator to work with from Jubilee Wedding and events. Melissa is amazing!!
Melissa was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond, helping us figure out all the small details we didn't know about for our wedding. We got the partial wedding package and it was truly worth it. Melissa helped us with:
- Design of the seating chart/table signs
- Dinner Table design/placements
- Vendor recommendations
- Floral arrangements
- General design/vibes of the wedding (as both my partner and I weren't really sure what we wanted)
- Coordinating with other vendors on timeline/schedule
- So much more!
Even though Melissa had never worked at our venue before (the Pacific Science Center), she really went all out in helping us out, figuring out how the space will work given the number of guests we had, and gave us a truly special experience. Shoutout to her and the team for making our wedding truly special!Melissa was absolutely incredible! Effortless elegance and wedding expertise
As a fellow wedding vendor, I was so impressed with my experience working with Kari from Jubilee Weddings this weekend that I knew I needed to run straight to Wedding Wire and share with the world.
The wedding was set at Rosehill Community Center, and the bride is a planner herself, setting the bar high. From the getgo, Kari's timeline showed she got it – seamlessly reflecting my photography needs and prioritizing the bride & groom having a joyous, stress-free experience.
Kari nailed it on the day-of, handling a complex room flip without a hitch. Her assistant was right there too, attending to our couple's every detail. It's one thing to be an expert, another to mix in fun and kindness like she did. At one point, I ran to Kari and just yelled 'boutonniere?' and she knew what needed to be done. I loved being able to count on her!
Kari's work is definitely worth singing from the rooftops about. She and her team made the day elegant yet fun, smooth yet memorable. I don't know how we would have pulled it off without them
From the first outreach to the last minute of the wedding day, Jubilee was amazing to work with and I truly can't imagine how we would have been able to pull off the day without them. MeLisa and her assistant were incredibly accommodating, listened to our wants and needs, and were very detailed. From setup to ceremony management, to helping close things out at the end of the night, they helped with tasks I didn't even know we needed! The day went so smoothly and it's all thanks to them. An amazing planner!!!
Melissa and her team are so AMAZING! At a venue that commands strict attention and can provide some tricky logistics for a planner, Melissa and her team were able to go above and beyond. As a DJ it is important for me to work hand in hand with a planner or coordinator and they made my life easy. Organization, attention to detail and communication were perfect. I look forward to working with them again in the future.Melissa and her team are so AMAZING! Kari Was Amazing
Honestly, having Kari, as our day of coordinator made, the whole day goes so smoothly even prior to she helped with so much. She made our day of schedule and help coordinate with our vendors. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!
We had Kari and her assistant Maya helped us with Day of Coordination during our wedding a couple weeks ago, and they KILLED it. I didn't worry about a thing the night of the wedding and just got to enjoy it. Kari is the sweetest and also incredibly professional. All my friends and family mentioned how great she was. We had a fun shared connection through our fiance's backgrounds and it was awesome because she took special care with the decor for a cultural piece of our ceremony.
Planning:
I did most of the planning myself and just hired Jubilee for day of coordination, and I am so glad I did. Jubilee gives you access to aisleplanner, which has a ton of useful notes and questionnaires, that while time consuming to fill out, really help you iron out the small details to ensure everything goes smoothly day of. The main two forms were item lists (every piece of decor and how/where to place) and wedding details (like what does each vendor need, what order are people walking down the aisle, does the officiant announce to silence cell phones or the DJ, etc). These were all small details that needed to be clarified but since I don't have experience planning weddings I wouldn't have realized to sort out these things.
Kari helped create my floor plan, which took so much stress off of my plate, and gave me advice on a lot of small details I wasn't sure about.
Day of:
Kari set up the decor beautifully and packed everything back up at the end of the night. Everything was packed neatly back into the boxes and everything made it home with us that we brought with us.
Kari checked in with us throughout the night, but not too often, to let us know where we were on timeline and how we wanted to adjust things. We were behind on the timeline and Kari was able to adjust things on the fly and work with the DJ to make sure everything still went smoothly and we were still able to get our sunset portraits at the right time (she made that a priority, which I appreciated!).
When I ripped my dress day of the wedding, Kari was ready with a sewing kit (and she did a good job - it held together for the rest of the night!).
Cost:
I felt the level of service provided for the cost was incredibly reasonable. I looked at several other coordination packages and many were 5x the cost with less services provided. I've seen some negative reviews about unexpected costs from Jubilee but I think those folks just didn't read the contracts carefully enough, plus Kari always reminded us when something would be an additional cost.

MeLisa from Jubilee was an absolute lifesaver on our wedding day. Her quick thinking and professionalism were unmatched. Despite numerous troubles caused by our venue management team, MeLisa handled everything with grace. She expertly guided our vendors and guests, ensuring a smooth adjustment. We can't thank her enough for saving the day.
Our guests absolutely loved the photobooth, although there were some initial technical difficulties with delayed photo delivery that made us nervous. But thanks to Mellisa's prompt resolution, we were delighted with the final outcome.

The lead up planning and organization was great, but the day of fell short
I have put off writing this review for so long, but after attending my maid of honors own wedding this weekend and seeing the excellent work her day or coordination team did I am biting the bullet.
I'd like to start by saying that Melissa was absolutely fantastic from Day 1, she was kind, responsive, answered all the questions that felt dumb and was a great help. I hired Jubilee for Day Of Coordination, as I planned the wedding myself down to the last detail. Melissa was the only member of the Jubilee team I had contact with leading up to the big day, and she also coordinated our rehearsal at the venue. I feel that what fell short was that Melissa was doing all the lead up, but the day of my wedding I was given 2 girls I had never met and Melissa was not there - something I was told the week of the wedding. I had been under the assumption the women helping me the month prior would be there to execute on the day off. I provided every last detail, printed and organized in binders, down to photos and boxes labeled of tables so they could place everything with ease.
Sadly, my bridesmaids ended up doing a majority of the work and my coordinators were extremely hard to locate throughout the day, to the point that my bridesmaids even commented how unhelpful they were when we needed them they were not able to be found. I had an emergency where my cake lady informed them she would be running late, but this only made it to one of the girls on-site and the other did not help me when I began to panic that neither of us knew where the deserts and wedding cake were. They did not help with timeline, in fact my photographer was the one keeping me on time for everything and went above and beyond her duties in keeping us on time. They didn't know when cake cutting was, didn't have anything prepared and never checked in with me once after the reception began to make sure everything was going okay. I still feel so bad for my bridesmaids for the amount of setting up they did for me, my photographer for keeping us on time and my family for saying how the girls did not help them or answer questions. I believe I saw them 4 or 5 times throughout the entire 10 hour day, that I even paid extra to have them there for to help take down decor.
I am sad to write this review, as Melissa was amazing leading up and I truly feel if she had been there on the day of things would've gone much differently. A Day-Of Coordinator was a Perfect Addition to our Day!
We were required to hire a DOC for our venue, and I was aprehensive at first. I am thourough with planning and did the bulk of the work for our wedding day. However, I met with five planners and ultimately chose Jubilee. They were friendly, experienced, and an incredible deal -- comparatively. Our experience with MeLisa V. for the day-of was stellar. She was everywhere I could not be, and was flawless with her execution for setup, take-down, and everything in between.We were required to hire a DOC for our venue, and I was aprehensive at first. Love that they offer a mini package
Thank you so much Melissa! Working with Jubilee was such a load off my shoulders after tackling most of the planning for our wedding. We did the mini day-of coordination package- After having a bit of an anxiety attack, I reached out to Jubilee about a month before our wedding for help- thankfully they were able to make time for us on our date. I literally do not know what I would have done without Melissa's help and reassurance. Due to unforeseen circumstances (venue attendant's car broke down on the way to unlocking it for us), our day was a little bit chaotic at first. But Melissa was immediately on it, calling around, trying to figure out the next best solution. We ended up having the ceremony outside in the park and it was lovely. Thank you Melissa for all your help and for rolling with the punches on our slightly unconventional wedding day. I wouldn't have had it any other way!Thank you so much Melissa! Good DOC Deal, depending on your needs
I am a super planner, so having a day-of coordinator was all I really needed. Melissa's team fit the bill. She was able to accommodate unique needs (e.g. same-day rehearsal), and I didn't hear about anything the day-of that went wrong- so that's a GREAT thing!! $825 was the best price I could find.
I will say there were a few moments where I wish she had stepped in and provided more quality coordination. For example, I skipped the rehearsal to accommodate first look, so having a debrief from her before walking down would have been nice. Instead I forgot to grab my bouquet to walk back down the aisle with. Bummer. A family member kept trying to take photos with us after everyone was ushered to be sat down for reception. She was right next to me. I said no multiple times, but they kept insisting. I wish she had stepped in at that point. She also was hard to get in touch with anytime outside the month leading up to my wedding (e.g. taking multiple weeks to respond). I managed okay with that but can recognize how others may not like that. I also wished she helped coordinate clean up more with my wedding party - I heard she didn't contribute at all and it was within her package hours.
Ultimately, I booked the most basic package possible so I understand that Melissa and team needs to prioritize! I wish some things could have been coordinated better, but for the price, I'd say it was worth it. Thanks for your review. First of all we loved working with you on your big day. It was so beautiful and we loved how much fun your guests had, I've never seen a group dance as much as yours did!!
I appreciate the feedback regarding the rehearsal on the day of. I did go over the bouquet hand off with the maid of honor at the rehearsal, but honestly everyone didn't want to stand out in the hot sun for any longer so they were getting restless and may have forgotten. Brides have a million things going through their minds at the end of the ceremony so sometimes the bouquet unfortunately gets missed, that's why we tell the maid of honor to take care of that duty. I do understand the disappointment.
As for clean up, we had clean up on our timeline at 10pm and didn't want to tear down the main ballroom until then so guests didn't feel rushed to leave since you still had the venue until midnight. We did tear down and box everything outside of the ballroom (guest book, welcome table, photobooth, etc). We then had about 45 min before tear down was supposed to start. Since we hadn't had a break from the heat all day we took a 15 min break in our car to cool off before tear down. We returned at 930pm and the bridesmaids had started the tear down on their own. We swiftly jumped in and let them know we would get everything packed up for them. We then went around and collected the remaining items and took them to the cars for them.

The best team
Don't listen to people when they tell you not to hire a coordinator for your wedding. In fact, only hire the team from Jubilee Weddings and Events. Our wedding would've had not been as perfect as it was without MeLisa and Victoria. They took so much of the stress and little things off our shoulders, where we could just relax and be so in the moment with our family and friends.
MeLisa was so great orchestrating the entire wedding day. We put all our trust in her on our most important day and her and Victoria nailed it. We literally left our venue saying it was perfect, as well as everyone else. HORRIBLE. Do not book!
I absolutely would NOT recommended Jubliee, specifically Melissa. I originally booked for day of wedding coordination services in 2020 and ended up rescheduling to 2021. I booked with her because she had great reviews and was one of the cheapest prices I’d seen (now I know why).
From day one, Melissa would take weeks to respond to any of my e-mails, even with me following up 2-3 times. And when she did respond, she was very short and would not answer all my questions. Throughout my whole experience, I was so confused what I was paying for because she wasn’t doing anything that was outlined in my contract. She basically just sent me a questionnaire to fill out regarding my timeline and called it a day. I followed up to have a phone call about the decor and day of information (per my contract), which she ignored. This prompted me to be very organized with my decor as I couldn’t help set up and I assumed she would have no idea what’s going on since she barely talked to me in the 2 years I had her booked her. Isn’t the day-of coordinator supposed to be well versed in what the couple wants so we don’t have to do all the work?
The kicker too. I was told by one of my other vendors during the rehearsal that my coordinator said I “didn’t want her there.” No. To my own fault, I hadn’t realized I would have to pay to have Melissa or someone from her team attend the rehearsal if it wasn’t on a weekday. Probably like for most other people, that wasn’t going to work out for me to have it on a weekday. So, I elected to not have them there. I didn’t feel like paying an extra $200 when I already paid $800 for practically nothing at all. Oh, and the day of the wedding she comes up to me (the FIRST time we have ever spoken not in an e-mail), and asks if it is okay if she leaves halfway through the wedding and someone else takes over. What!???? What am I supposed to say to that? Either “yes” or shit out of luck? Absolutely no warning or pre-approval from me. I’m assuming she had to make her way to a higher paying client, who knows. Overall, I was very disappointed in the communication I received and the fact she couldn’t even do the basic duties outlined in my contract. PLEASE pay the extra money and find someone who actually cares about you and your day. This was the only vendor I was absolutely disappointed with. I'm so sorry you were disappointed in our services. Your wedding was so beautiful and we loved all the unique decoration touches you had, especially your lemonade stand!! You had originally booked in 2020 and Covid hit and you decided to move to 2021. We did move your date with no further fees or changes in pricing, but we had to be creative in scheduling staffing so we could accommodate the change of date and that is the reason we had to split the day. I knew you had spent a lot of time on your decorations so I wanted to make sure I was there to ensure that everything was set up according to plan. I stayed through set up and all the formalities and then my other coordinator who has been with the company for 13 years and is highly capable took over and the assistant was also there to help with clean up. I only missed the dancing/partying. We do have language in our contract stating that there could be another coordinator besides myself and we go over that during our initial call.
We had been in contact with you throughout the process via email. We were sent all the info we needed to run your day and all the questionnaires were completed. You were so organized so we were all set to go without any further questions. I do admit that there were 2 times that we did take about 6 days to respond. I'm sorry for that, but we were hit with emails from everyone at once since they had lifted mandates. Everyone started planning all at once. We would have loved to hear your frustrations during this time, but I never heard anything about you being unhappy until a year later when you submitted this review. I could have made this right and had a conversation with you. If you would like to reach out to me I would love to discuss this with you further.
Covid was really hard on small businesses and we were trying to pull out of it and make everyone happy while also trying to stay in business. I do appreciate your candor and this helps me improve our processes for future couples.

Melissa was so amazing. It was beyond stressful planning a wedding but to add a pandemic and 3 postponements was just insane. She was so amazing and flexible, so communicative, and the team that did the wedding, MeLisa & Kayla, were truly excellent. They kept all the wedding day nonsense from me & put up with my requests & some last minute things. The price was so reasonable & worth every penny. The online portal they use was SO helpful too! It has everything you need to plan and organize the many pieces of the wedding planning puzzle. I am SO grateful to Jubilee for making my wedding flawless & so fun!! The rates are incredibly reasonable for this area and during my research before booking, I found that no one offers as much pre-planning services for day-of coordination. Melissa was up front about response times for questions and always had a succinct and professional answer for anything that came up during planning. The planning software was a gift in organizing all the little details and our coordinators followed it to a tee. I was impressed with how attentive they were throughout our day, from directing our flower girls, to fixing my bustle after it got stepped on, to helping our caterer when the bartender didn’t show up, among many other tasks. I received exactly what I wanted in day-of coordination: I got to make all the decisions for my wedding, and I (and my family) got to relax and have fun all day. Amazing Experience!
Melissa was an excellent point of contact and helped me through every little detail. Leslie was my coordinator for the day and she was a dream to work with. Took all our money during Covid, with no service
If I could submit a zero star I would. We booked with Melissa and paid her the deposit and the full invoice up front in good faith that we would be able to have our wedding. But because of Covid we had to cancel.
We said that Melissa could keep the deposit and asked if she could return the remaining amount since there was no work done. She said no but offered a credit. A credit for what? She did not do anything, no planning, no consultation or anything and kept our money. I wouldn't want to do business with someone like her.
Its not like my fiancé and I have a ton of money to be losing. We understand that we needed to lose deposits, but we didn't expect her to be so greedy and keep money for something she didn't even do.If I could submit a zero star I would.
