Loved Melissa!
Melissa was an amazing coordinator to work with from Jubilee Wedding and events. Her pricing was very competitive and it was also so convenient that they also rent out decor and other wedding items. In the planning process she helped me figure out timelines as well as let me use a planning software where I could plan the seating chart and keep all of my things in one place. On the day Melissa and her assistant helped set up all of our decorations, coordinate where wedding party and family should be, and she also helped take down a lot of our decor. We also rented the selfie photobooth station from her which was amazing!! it was very sleek and easy to use. The whole day went very smoothly thank to her and her team! -

5 Stars for Jubilee - Seattle Wedding
The Jubilee Team (especially Melissa), went above and beyond -- exceeded expectations by a long shot. We couldn't have pulled off our wedding events without them. Very experienced throughout and adding and building to the vision we had in place. They took our vision and executed it, really brought it to life. They have so many internal services like rentals, engravings, planners, visualizers, vendor lists, white glove day of management - that their service is a steal! We also had them help plan our welcome dinner - bartender and waiting services, which blended in both days so well. They customized and had great ideas for our party favors - including engravings on chop sticks. They have plans for all types of wedding and more than reasonable to work within your budget - it's actually part of the plan as they have services for all! Book them now, you won't regret the service! -

If you love yourself get the day of coordinator!!
Katy and Melissa were an absolute dream to work with. From the planning phone call to execution, these ladies had my back. They were very responsive and knowledgeable; you could tell this was not their first rodeo! The day of, Katy was not just a coordinator but also my hypewoman and troop leader with as big a bridal party as I had. She even made sure to bring an easel as a backup for my seating chart and snapped some behind-the-scenes pictures so I had something that night to look back on. And the cleanup was so efficient, my bridal party raved about how quickly they got out! Would choose them again in a heartbeat! -

Katy is amazing!
Katy and her team are so AMAZING! At a venue that commands strict attention and can provide some tricky logistics for a planner, Katy and her team were able to go above and beyond. As a DJ it is important for me to work hand in hand with a planner or coordinator and they made my life easy. Organization, attention to detail and communication were perfect. Melissa is amazing!!
Melissa was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond, helping us figure out all the small details we didn't know about for our wedding. We got the partial wedding package and it was truly worth it. Melissa helped us with:
- Design of the seating chart/table signs
- Dinner Table design/placements
- Vendor recommendations
- Floral arrangements
- General design/vibes of the wedding (as both my partner and I weren't really sure what we wanted)
- Coordinating with other vendors on timeline/schedule
- So much more!
Even though Melissa had never worked at our venue before (the Pacific Science Center), she really went all out in helping us out, figuring out how the space will work given the number of guests we had, and gave us a truly special experience. Shoutout to her and the team for making our wedding truly special! -

Effortless elegance and wedding expertise
As a fellow wedding vendor, I was so impressed with my experience working with Kari from Jubilee Weddings this weekend that I knew I needed to run straight to Wedding Wire and share with the world.
The wedding was set at Rosehill Community Center, and the bride is a planner herself, setting the bar high. From the getgo, Kari's timeline showed she got it – seamlessly reflecting my photography needs and prioritizing the bride & groom having a joyous, stress-free experience.
Kari nailed it on the day-of, handling a complex room flip without a hitch. Her assistant was right there too, attending to our couple's every detail. It's one thing to be an expert, another to mix in fun and kindness like she did. At one point, I ran to Kari and just yelled 'boutonniere?' and she knew what needed to be done. I loved being able to count on her!
Kari's work is definitely worth singing from the rooftops about. She and her team made the day elegant yet fun, smooth yet memorable. They're the real deal in creating a flawless, enjoyable experience. -

I don't know how we would have pulled it off without them
From the first outreach to the last minute of the wedding day, Jubilee was amazing to work with and I truly can't imagine how we would have been able to pull off the day without them. MeLisa and her assistant were incredibly accommodating, listened to our wants and needs, and were very detailed. From setup to ceremony management, to helping close things out at the end of the night, they helped with tasks I didn't even know we needed! The day went so smoothly and it's all thanks to them. I'd highly recommend this company to any couple who wants a stress-free day - they'll help take so many things off your plate so you can just enjoy your day with your favorite people. -

Kari Was Amazing
Honestly, having Kari, as our day of coordinator made, the whole day goes so smoothly even prior to she helped with so much. She made our day of schedule and help coordinate with our vendors. It was truly such a blessing to have her there on our day, and it would not have gone so incredibly well without her. -

Would hire them again in a heartbeat!
We had Kari and her assistant Maya helped us with Day of Coordination during our wedding a couple weeks ago, and they KILLED it. I didn't worry about a thing the night of the wedding and just got to enjoy it. Kari is the sweetest and also incredibly professional. All my friends and family mentioned how great she was. We had a fun shared connection through our fiance's backgrounds and it was awesome because she took special care with the decor for a cultural piece of our ceremony.
Planning:
I did most of the planning myself and just hired Jubilee for day of coordination, and I am so glad I did. Jubilee gives you access to aisleplanner, which has a ton of useful notes and questionnaires, that while time consuming to fill out, really help you iron out the small details to ensure everything goes smoothly day of. The main two forms were item lists (every piece of decor and how/where to place) and wedding details (like what does each vendor need, what order are people walking down the aisle, does the officiant announce to silence cell phones or the DJ, etc). These were all small details that needed to be clarified but since I don't have experience planning weddings I wouldn't have realized to sort out these things.
Kari helped create my floor plan, which took so much stress off of my plate, and gave me advice on a lot of small details I wasn't sure about.
Day of:
Kari set up the decor beautifully and packed everything back up at the end of the night. Everything was packed neatly back into the boxes and everything made it home with us that we brought with us.
Kari checked in with us throughout the night, but not too often, to let us know where we were on timeline and how we wanted to adjust things. We were behind on the timeline and Kari was able to adjust things on the fly and work with the DJ to make sure everything still went smoothly and we were still able to get our sunset portraits at the right time (she made that a priority, which I appreciated!).
When I ripped my dress day of the wedding, Kari was ready with a sewing kit (and she did a good job - it held together for the rest of the night!).
Cost:
I felt the level of service provided for the cost was incredibly reasonable. I looked at several other coordination packages and many were 5x the cost with less services provided. I've seen some negative reviews about unexpected costs from Jubilee but I think those folks just didn't read the contracts carefully enough, plus Kari always reminded us when something would be an additional cost.
It was also great that Jubilee had a rental inventory (at reasonable prices) which allowed us to bring less items and not have to buy as many things. -

A Day-Of Coordinator was a Perfect Addition to our Day!
We were required to hire a DOC for our venue, and I was aprehensive at first. I am thourough with planning and did the bulk of the work for our wedding day. However, I met with five planners and ultimately chose Jubilee. They were friendly, experienced, and an incredible deal -- comparatively. Our experience with MeLisa V. for the day-of was stellar. She was everywhere I could not be, and was flawless with her execution for setup, take-down, and everything in between. -

Love that they offer a mini package
Thank you so much Melissa! Working with Jubilee was such a load off my shoulders after tackling most of the planning for our wedding. We did the mini day-of coordination package- After having a bit of an anxiety attack, I reached out to Jubilee about a month before our wedding for help- thankfully they were able to make time for us on our date. I literally do not know what I would have done without Melissa's help and reassurance. Due to unforeseen circumstances (venue attendant's car broke down on the way to unlocking it for us), our day was a little bit chaotic at first. But Melissa was immediately on it, calling around, trying to figure out the next best solution. We ended up having the ceremony outside in the park and it was lovely. Thank you Melissa for all your help and for rolling with the punches on our slightly unconventional wedding day. I wouldn't have had it any other way! -

The best team
Don't listen to people when they tell you not to hire a coordinator for your wedding. In fact, only hire the team from Jubilee Weddings and Events. Our wedding would've had not been as perfect as it was without MeLisa and Victoria. They took so much of the stress and little things off our shoulders, where we could just relax and be so in the moment with our family and friends.
MeLisa was so great orchestrating the entire wedding day. We put all our trust in her on our most important day and her and Victoria nailed it. Seriously Cannot Recommend Enough
Melissa was so amazing. It was beyond stressful planning a wedding but to add a pandemic and 3 postponements was just insane. She was so amazing and flexible, so communicative, and the team that did the wedding, MeLisa & Kayla, were truly excellent. They kept all the wedding day nonsense from me & put up with my requests & some last minute things. The price was so reasonable & worth every penny. The online portal they use was SO helpful too! It has everything you need to plan and organize the many pieces of the wedding planning puzzle. I am SO grateful to Jubilee for making my wedding flawless & so fun!! Best day ever.-

The software that Jubilee offers clients is worth the fee alone! No detail went unchecked as we went through a year of planning. We appreciated Melissa's responsiveness with all our questions. Melissa was an excellent point of contact and helped me through every little detail. Leslie was my coordinator for the day and she was a dream to work with. Effortless Wedding Day
Melissa and her team were such a huge help and made my entire vision explode and come to life. Smooth wedding
We are so happy that we hired Melissa as our wedding day coordinator. She helped us from which florist, videographer to get and provided many options we needed for our wedding. She was very professional throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding it was amazing having her, We didn’t have to worry about single thing when it was our day. Smooth and wonderful day!
My husband and I were initially hesitant about hiring a day-of coordinator, because our families were already heavily involved in planning and a few of our vendors didn't speak English as their primary language. However, we ultimately decided that it would be worth it having someone there to make sure the day ran smoothly, and it was definitely the right choice! Melissa and her assistant Audrey were responsive and organized and flexible in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. On the day of, they kept the ball rolling and kept us calm. Naturally we had many last-minute changes to our timeline, but they were on top of it the entire time, and we received nothing but positive feedback from our guests about the whole day! -

Super friendly and amazing price!
I found jubilee weddings and events on wedding wire and was shocked when I seen her prices. They are cheaper than I have been finding and I couldn’t pass up the deal! THe perfect team for the job!

One of the best decisions I made!
I planned my wedding from across the country, and at one point I realized I was going to be overwhelmed with decisions on the day of the ceremony. I reached out to Melissa and hired her day-of coordination services after an e-mail and a phone conversation. It was probably the best decision I could make for myself!
Melissa and her assistant Leslie were thoroughly professional and helped the evening to flow smoothly. Melissa also organized my rehearsal. The day of the wedding, I just had to answer a few questions and otherwise they used the guide we had filled out before the wedding to set up the decorations, keep the reception flowing, and clean up after everything was done. My father was also very impressed that they stayed until the very end. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing a day-of coordinator in the Tacoma area! -

Melissa was fantastic! I am a type A personality and so is my husband, so we were really looking to let others take over the role of point person for our wedding day. Melissa and her team did a great job of filling that space! Everything ran so smoothly. From the planning session in the fall to the rehearsal and then the tear down, things flowed easily. We ended up changing timelines a little bit here and there throughout the evening and she handled everything flawlessly without batting an eye. Set up and tear down went super smoothly and that was probably the biggest stress point in my planning process (making sure we had enough time/resources to get it all done) so I was very relieved to see it come together. I would absolutely recommend Melissa and her team for day of coordination services! -

When I told my son he needed a day of coordinator, it was a bit of a fight as he felt we could do it ourselves. But, thankfully he listened and we decided to hire Melissa at Jubilee weddings. Melissa and her assistant were friendly, helpful, prompt, and super hard workers. They set up and tore down with great speed and care and basically left us to do nothing but enjoy our night. Such an incredible value as well!! After the wedding my son told me he was so thankful that we hired her and bother my son and his wife agreed it was worth every cent. Thank you, Melissa! Melissa and her team were awesome! They visited the layout with me prior to the ceremony, and asked questions I wouldn't think to ask. On the day of, I couldn't have done this without her and her assistant. I didn't have to worry about setup, or a timeline, as they had it all planned. Of course, there was flexibility, as we often changed how many decorations we needed, what time was photos, etc. Moreover, on the day of, she helped negotiate with the venue when we could make the call of being indoors or outdoors. So many good things to say about Jubilee Weddings and Events. We used them for our day of coordinator and DJ. They started working with me immediately and helped every step of the way. On the day of it was so wonderful, my family and I never had to worry about a thing and that was important to me. They knew everything about my wedding and set up the decorations even better than I had imagined. The DJ service was also great. They had our guests dancing and having fun the whole time without being obnoxious on the microphone. I would highly recommend them!!! The pricing was great also. -

My fiance and I agree that after choosing to marry each other, Melissa and her team was the best decision we made regarding our big day. We kind of put planning off due to our work schedules and when we started working with Melissa, we honestly had no idea what to do or how to get our day going. Melissa always responded to emails promptly, she answered all of our questions, even provided us with a DJ through her event services. She met with us twice and helped us figure out how to set up the reception, how to make music choices and anything else we needed. She set up all of the decorations for our ceremony, coordinated with the caterers and the venue and cleaned up afterward. I didn't have to do a thing on my wedding day except enjoy it, which I did, because she was taking care of all the details. The value was amazing and we definitely recommend her for anyone who struggling with how to put their wedding together. -

Melissa and Leslie helped make my wedding a well-organized, stress-free experience.
Their day-of services were included as part of the Wine and Roses Country Estate package, and were a key part of making the day go smoothly.
I also invested in some additional time from them to help me in the months leading up to the wedding. They helped keep me on track in terms of when I needed to find various vendors and the many decisions that I needed to make. They couldn't make the decisions for me, but they helped insure that I knew what to think about and when, which was great.
Throughout the process they were friendly and helpful.
The day-of was when their services really shone.
I showed up morning-of after a rather frantic lead-up, we got all the stuff unloaded, and I told Melissa what was where.
And that was it!
I got to go and get ready while she Made It Happen.
They got all the decorations out, the tables made up, and everything looked great!
I had put together some information for how I hoped the tables would look, but hadn't thought about the sweetheart table (which had a different tablecloth color). They took some of the extra "maybe" decoration materials I had included, and came up with something that looked really nice.
They also made everything tick along like a well-oiled machine. I didn't need to worry about who was where, or where I needed to be - they made sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time, from before the ceremony to the very end.
I actually got to *enjoy* my own wedding, thanks to them!
And at the end they got everything packed up and ready to cart off.
I can definitely say that they helped make my wedding wonderful and as stress-free as possible. -

Melissa and Leslie were helping to organize our wedding at Wine and Roses Country Estate in August 2015. I didn't have anyone else assisting me, and they were my only help. It was very easy to work with them: they have a well organized process of work, easy forms with necessary information, they did everything in time, helped with advise. We hired some vendors recommended by them because they actually were the best in the area. Melissa and Leslie were always polite, professional and punctual, met with us to discuss the details, replied all my messages very quickly. But I would like to especially mention how great they were during the wedding day. I didn't have to worry about anything. I was there since the early morning, getting ready, but Melissa and Leslie didn't even ask me any question, because they remembered every detail we discussed in advance and did everything as I planned. It made this day absolutely stressless and happy. They were the only people decorating and preparing the venue, and everything was absolutely perfect. This day was higher than my best expectations, and this could happen mostly because of great work of Melissa and Leslie. I recommend them to all brides and grooms! -

We were married at Wine and Roses Country Estate on August 2nd. We were fortunate to work with both Melissa and Leslie from Jubilee Weddings and Events. These two women are extremely experienced and know what they are doing; they provide great suggestions and recommendations which help your wedding day run smoothly. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them!
Both Melissa and Leslie managed to set up our ENTIRE wedding reception: tables, chairs, linens, table runners, centerpieces, our candy bar station, guestbook table, generation table, etc. This included place settings and folding our napkins super fancy! Not only that, they helped pack it all up at the end of the night. I don't know many wedding planning companies who can get that amount of work done in such a small time frame, especially at a reasonable price.
We had one problem before our wedding (nothing to do with Melissa or Leslie) and when I talked with Melissa, she said she would take care of it, and she did. These ladies are the real deal. They are sweet, personable, and get the job done. My family was super impressed with them, from the rehearsal to the actual event. I will definitely recommend their fantastic teamwork to any friends getting married! -

Melissa was amazing! She was very helpful during our planning. My wife and I were very proactive and had a lot of the planning done, but Melissa made sure we didn't forget everything. My wedding took place in Washington state at the Point Defiance Zoo but I live in Florida, so planning long distance itself was incredibly difficult. I finally gave in to pressure and decided to hire a planner. It ended up being by far the best thing I could have done. Melissa was more than worth every penny! Even though my budget only allowed me to hire her for the day-of, Melissa was constantly checking in beforehand to make sure everything was going ok and that she would be prepared to take over my entire year and a half's worth of planning to ensure everything ran smoothly. And boy did it! I had over-prepared myself mentally for something going wrong that day. It was something that was all over every bridal website, blog, and advice column "something will go wrong, so prepare yourself!" But absolutely nothing did thanks to Melissa, her assistant Leslie, and their coordination with my mom and maid of honor. I had to worry about nothing that day and it ended up being the most incredible day! And on top of that, I left the reception table and venue decorations up to them and WOW was I blown away! I nearly started crying when I walked in and saw it for the first time! I was absolutely amazed. Melissa and her team are not only budget friendly, but worth way more than I paid for. I could not have done it without them. Thank you so much! -

One of my husband's requests (his only request) was that we hired a wedding planner for the day of our wedding. He knows me better than anyone and was sure that I would be stressed out if we didn't. We hired Melissa and her team to be there for our wedding day. The day of the wedding I was stressed thinking of all of the things that we didn't get setup the night before. So where to start, ok. Melissa was awesome all threw out the process with planning my wedding. She was always there for any question or comment and worries I had for my big day. She always made me feel better once talking or emailing her. My wedding was in Washington and I live in Oregon, so you can imagine my worries. When it came to my big day Melissa was there at noon and I got to work with her assistant Leslie for the morning. She was just as helpful as Melissa. Sense it was the morning of my big day Melissa made sure I new what was going on, eating and drinking, and trying to stay calm. The biggest thing to me is the as soon as there was any problem big or small, I didn't even get to worry about it before Melissa and her team made it all better. If it wasn't for Melissa I probably would have given up and eloped lol I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone for all of her services. We had a wonderful wedding and definitely owe a lot of thanks to Melissa and her team! We started with the day-of package and upped it to the silver package once we were getting overwhelmed with finding vendors. Melissa did an excellent job helping us find our DJ and florist and helped with the overall ceremony, reception and decoration planning. We did miss a few of the included meetings that were in the silver package, however our schedule was tight and she was very flexible with possible times. Her team on the day of, Leslie and Lexi, were wonderful at getting everything put in place and it looked STUNNING! Despite numerous troubles caused by our venue management team, MeLisa handled everything with grace. She expertly guided our vendors and guests, ensuring a smooth adjustment. Our guests absolutely loved the photobooth, although there were some initial technical difficulties with delayed photo delivery that made us nervous. But thanks to Mellisa's prompt resolution, we were delighted with the final outcome.

I was able to enjoy my wedding day
We hired Jubilee for day-of coordination for our wedding and everything went great! The rates are incredibly reasonable for this area and during my research before booking, I found that no one offers as much pre-planning services for day-of coordination. Melissa was up front about response times for questions and always had a succinct and professional answer for anything that came up during planning. The planning software was a gift in organizing all the little details and our coordinators followed it to a tee. I was impressed with how attentive they were throughout our day, from directing our flower girls, to fixing my bustle after it got stepped on, to helping our caterer when the bartender didn’t show up, among many other tasks. I received exactly what I wanted in day-of coordination: I got to make all the decisions for my wedding, and I (and my family) got to relax and have fun all day. I would recommend hiring Jubilee for day-of coordination for any DIY bride so you can focus on enjoying the meaning of the day and fully participate in the celebration. -

Wow! Melissa and her team were absolutely amazing. I don't think I couldve pulled off such a smooth wedding without her at such a great value. I knew that I didn't want a full on planner since I had time to do all the planning myself so I went with a day of coordinator. I first had a phone call with Melissa and really liked her right off the bat. After we signed a contract, Melissa and her asstant came to the venue once to review layout and another time to guide us through the rehearsal. During this time while Melissa's team did not always respond right away (since they are a small company and have lots of weddings in the summer), Melissa was incredibly attentive to detail and had obviously read everything I sent or cc'd her on. On the day of everything was set up as I requested, any last minute emergencies taken care of, and I didn't have much work to do at all - just enjoyed myself the whole night. The price for day of services was completely reasonable and would highly recommend. Fyi Melissa's team also does DJ services but I chose not to do both with her since she would be the DJ if I chose that option and I really wanted her to work on the coordinator side. -

Jubilee both helped plan and DJ'd our wedding. They did a great job with keeping information organized and answering our questions. Melissa was extremely helpful in prioritizing what needed to be done when, setting up a schedule for the day, getting me lists of questions for me to ask other vendors, providing suggestions for other vendors when asked, providing lists of song suggestions for events (bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc.), and working with my vendors once they were booked. Also, Melissa was good about giving suggestions without persuading one way or another. She stated all the options with their pros and cons, and let us decide. Once a decision was made, she never tried to sway us in another direction, or attempt to change our minds.
For the DJ, Jubilee did a good job of listening to our requests, likes, and dislikes, and then matching the music to our taste. They worked hard at making sure they had the correct versions of songs for the ceremony, and had everything timed very well.
The only thing that was difficult was that it didn't always seem that things were communicated very well between parties. Something would be decided upon by my husband and myself, and discussed with Jubilee, but it seemed that that information was not always shared with others. It may have just been misunderstandings (they thought we shared it, we thought they shared it), but there were a few things that were unclear to some people on the day of the wedding. For example, there were several locations at our venue that were and were not appropriate for guests to be at various times. This was clearly discussed in meetings and emails prior to the wedding, but not followed through with on the day. -

I'm so glad I decided to get a day-of-coordinator. It made my day way less stressful and was completely worth the money. Although there were a couple of instances leading up to the wedding where I was waiting for emailed responses to questions, Melissa did eventually get back to me every time and answered all my questions. And when it came to the rehearsal and the wedding day, Leslie and Hayley were awesome! We didn't really know what we were doing and they gave us step-by-step instructions at the rehearsal. They were lifesavers on the wedding day. They did ALL the setup just following my sheet of instructions. I had zero complaints with how they set up the venue. They did a beautiful job! They also worked very hard to make sure the groom did not see me before the wedding, because we were not having a first look. This was a bit difficult, since the groom and I were both getting ready at the venue and taking some pre-ceremony pictures with our families. But Hayley and Leslie did a great job keeping us separated. They also ran the ceremony and reception behind the scenes... I had to do nothing but be there and enjoy the day/night. I would definitely hire Jubilee Wedding and Events again if I had the chance!! -

We used Melissa for day-of coordination and she and her team were outstanding. I would highly recommend her. She was very flexible and responsive to our needs. She arrived on time or early for all commitments -- our venue coordinator said our wedding was one of the smoothest he'd ever dealt with. She has very reasonable pricing and provides all services just as promised without trying to upsell you or control things. I also like that I was supporting a woman-owned local small business.
Our reception DJ didn't show up, and Melissa and her team saved the day by coordinating with the ceremony musician to stay later, helping with emcee duties, and even buying the First Dance and father-daughter dance songs on her iPod to play over the amp! -

Having our wedding at this venue was great and working with Melissa and Leslie was amazing! They were both so nice and checked in with me (the bride) about everything. They were on top of everything, I was not stressed AT ALL during the wedding or reception. Not only did they help with the setup, but they also did almost all of the cleanup and break down... Melissa, with Jubilee Weddings and Events, was responsive to all of our questions leading up to the big day, even going so far as to help us find ways to trim the budget without sacrificing the important details and special touches. For larger events, I would definitely recommend using Melissa’s Jubilee Weddings services for set up and take down. For a very small charge, all set up, preparation and take-down was taken care of on the day of the wedding, giving my family and friends more time to simply enjoy the day. While I was at first concerned to learn that Melissa could not be on-site for our wedding day, she was careful to communicate all details to the day-of coordinator, Leslie, who did a fantastic job at implementing our vision and keeping the day on-schedule. Even our complicated centerpieces were set up perfectly and packed up carefully at the end of the night.
While I’m confident that our wedding day would have been memorable regardless of the venue, Melissa and Leslie truly made the day’s logistics run smoothly, always with our vision and our guests’ comfort in mind, which allowed us to relax, focus on the moment and enjoy the day!

I hired Jubilee Weddings for day-of-coordination. They did an awesome job for our wedding! Melissa and Leslie helped set up the decorations and make sure everything ran smoothly. Melissa even helped find me some Advil when I started to get a headache!
I wasn't able to have an actual wedding rehearsal due to limited venue access and bridal party being out of town, but Melissa helped line us all up and talk us through it, so it ended up being fine!
I had one in person meeting and 2 phone conversations which was plenty for me! Melissa was really good at getting down to the details and thinking of questions for the venue that I wouldn't have thought of.
Grateful to have hired Jubilee Weddings (especially since they are at an affordable price)!

Melissa was very helpful for our wedding at Wine and Roses Country Estate in August 2015. We had a lot of questions leading up to our wedding and she answered all of them in a timely manner! Her team was very professional on the day of our wedding with the wedding party and our guests. My parents and guests said kind things about the bartender she provided, which ended up being less expensive than having our caterer do it and easier to coordinate than the local bartender school. Our wedding rehearsal went smoothly as well, which was ran by Melissa in conjunction with our officiant. It was somewhat challenging getting our final linen rental order finalized with American Party Place because everything needs to go through Melissa, but it ended up working out. I would definitely recommend Melissa to help with your wedding at Wine and Roses! She and her team are well worth it! -

Melissa and her staff is very friendly and such a huge help for day of coordination! For summer weddings, make sure your rehearsal date is set, we weren't able to set ours until 1 month prior due to venue rules, and they were unavailable to attend. Instead, I typed out directions of how I wanted everything and they followed them with little input from me. In all, they are very professional, friendly and a great help to keep the bride stress free on the big day! I would totally recommend her services to anyone, and hope to enlist her help when my sister gets married. -

Good DOC Deal, depending on your needs
I am a super planner, so having a day-of coordinator was all I really needed. Melissa's team fit the bill. She was able to accommodate unique needs (e.g. same-day rehearsal), and I didn't hear about anything the day-of that went wrong- so that's a GREAT thing!! $825 was the best price I could find.
I will say there were a few moments where I wish she had stepped in and provided more quality coordination. For example, I skipped the rehearsal to accommodate first look, so having a debrief from her before walking down would have been nice. Instead I forgot to grab my bouquet to walk back down the aisle with. Bummer. A family member kept trying to take photos with us after everyone was ushered to be sat down for reception. She was right next to me. I said no multiple times, but they kept insisting. I wish she had stepped in at that point. She also was hard to get in touch with anytime outside the month leading up to my wedding (e.g. taking multiple weeks to respond). I managed okay with that but can recognize how others may not like that. I also wished she helped coordinate clean up more with my wedding party - I heard she didn't contribute at all and it was within her package hours.
Ultimately, I booked the most basic package possible so I understand that Melissa and team needs to prioritize! I wish some things could have been coordinated better, but for the price, I'd say it was worth it. Although, depending on your needs, e.g if you are not a super planner, the basic day-of package may not work well for you.Jubilee Weddings and Events's reply:

Thanks for your review. First of all we loved working with you on your big day. It was so beautiful and we loved how much fun your guests had, I've never seen a group dance as much as yours did!!
I appreciate the feedback regarding the rehearsal on the day of. I did go over the bouquet hand off with the maid of honor at the rehearsal, but honestly everyone didn't want to stand out in the hot sun for any longer so they were getting restless and may have forgotten. Brides have a million things going through their minds at the end of the ceremony so sometimes the bouquet unfortunately gets missed, that's why we tell the maid of honor to take care of that duty. I do understand the disappointment.
As for clean up, we had clean up on our timeline at 10pm and didn't want to tear down the main ballroom until then so guests didn't feel rushed to leave since you still had the venue until midnight. We did tear down and box everything outside of the ballroom (guest book, welcome table, photobooth, etc). We then had about 45 min before tear down was supposed to start. Since we hadn't had a break from the heat all day we took a 15 min break in our car to cool off before tear down. We returned at 930pm and the bridesmaids had started the tear down on their own. We swiftly jumped in and let them know we would get everything packed up for them. We then went around and collected the remaining items and took them to the cars for them.

The lead up planning and organization was great, but the day of fell short
I have put off writing this review for so long, but after attending my maid of honors own wedding this weekend and seeing the excellent work her day or coordination team did I am biting the bullet.
I'd like to start by saying that Melissa was absolutely fantastic from Day 1, she was kind, responsive, answered all the questions that felt dumb and was a great help. I hired Jubilee for Day Of Coordination, as I planned the wedding myself down to the last detail. Melissa was the only member of the Jubilee team I had contact with leading up to the big day, and she also coordinated our rehearsal at the venue. I feel that what fell short was that Melissa was doing all the lead up, but the day of my wedding I was given 2 girls I had never met and Melissa was not there - something I was told the week of the wedding. I had been under the assumption the women helping me the month prior would be there to execute on the day off. I provided every last detail, printed and organized in binders, down to photos and boxes labeled of tables so they could place everything with ease.
Sadly, my bridesmaids ended up doing a majority of the work and my coordinators were extremely hard to locate throughout the day, to the point that my bridesmaids even commented how unhelpful they were when we needed them they were not able to be found. I had an emergency where my cake lady informed them she would be running late, but this only made it to one of the girls on-site and the other did not help me when I began to panic that neither of us knew where the deserts and wedding cake were. They did not help with timeline, in fact my photographer was the one keeping me on time for everything and went above and beyond her duties in keeping us on time. They didn't know when cake cutting was, didn't have anything prepared and never checked in with me once after the reception began to make sure everything was going okay. I still feel so bad for my bridesmaids for the amount of setting up they did for me, my photographer for keeping us on time and my family for saying how the girls did not help them or answer questions. I believe I saw them 4 or 5 times throughout the entire 10 hour day, that I even paid extra to have them there for to help take down decor.
I am sad to write this review, as Melissa was amazing leading up and I truly feel if she had been there on the day of things would've gone much differently. I hired a day of coordinator, and sadly my photographer and bridesmaids did the job on the day of and I don't feel I got the service that was advertised. -

Our Jubilee wedding coordinator was included with the cost of the venue so we did not specifically choose this company. I will say it was nice to know there was someone managing the rehearsal, receiving vendors the day of and managing the timeline the day of. However we only got to meet once with the coordinator in person and it was several months before the wedding. After that responsiveness was often very slow if at all. We were required to pay for parking attendants but all of our guests said they don't remember seeing anyone directing parking, not really sure what we were paying for? We also rented chalk signs from Jubilee but on the day of the wedding I was busy getting ready and found out later in the day that those were never brought out.

I do recognize that our response time during the busy wedding season is slower (48-72 hours), but I am taking steps to improve that so I appreciate you letting me know that it was an issue. With your free venue package it only comes with 1 meeting and 3 walkthroughs which you were invited to and I know you attended at least one of them. Additional one on one meetings are extra. You never communicated to me that you wanted an additional meeting, otherwise I could have arranged that. As for the chalkboards, I had them at the venue and I did ask a few times what was supposed to be written on them and I was told that one of the bridesmaids will come and do it. They never came to do it. Please contact me if you would like the $15 for the chalkboard refunded. The parking attendants were in the parking lot for 1 hour prior to the ceremony and I know they were there because they were on payroll for that day. You really did have a wonderful wedding and I enjoyed working with you and I'm sorry you think those little things ruined your day. I wish you the best!!

Not a great experience
While I knew Melissa was experienced, she didn’t give us much of her time. I had to ask all the questions do all the thinking. I pretty much planned it myself. She is just overbooked. If you want any time, purchase her gold package and you might get some help. -

Took all our money during Covid, with no service
If I could submit a zero star I would. We booked with Melissa and paid her the deposit and the full invoice up front in good faith that we would be able to have our wedding. But because of Covid we had to cancel.
We said that Melissa could keep the deposit and asked if she could return the remaining amount since there was no work done. She said no but offered a credit. A credit for what? She did not do anything, no planning, no consultation or anything and kept our money. I wouldn't want to do business with someone like her.
Its not like my fiancé and I have a ton of money to be losing. We understand that we needed to lose deposits, but we didn't expect her to be so greedy and keep money for something she didn't even do. -

I am rating Jubilee 3 stars for flexibility as we did hire Jubilee 2 months before our wedding, however, if you did not have time to meet with us and help prepare for our wedding with reasonable time and attention to detail, you should not have agreed to coordinate our wedding. My fiance and I hired Jubilee for our day of coordination, as we wanted to decrease stress and make sure we didn't have to worry about the minor details on our big day. I wish this would have been the case, but Melissa was extremely slow at replying to our emails, sometimes not even replying at all. This pattern continued up until the wedding day itself. About a week before the wedding, Melissa and another coordinator with Jubilee finally had availability to meet with us in person after several attempts on my part to schedule a meeting, a meeting that was very impersonal and rushed. A couple of days before the wedding, it was communicated to us that Melissa would not be our coordinator anymore, but the different coordinator who had barely spoken to us at the meeting would now be our coordinator. This forced us to contact all of our vendors last minute to communicate this change to them. At this point, we felt things were so unorganized on Jubilee's part that this whole ordeal had created more stress than if we had not hired a coordinator, as the communication was terrible and nothing seemed set in stone. The only saving grace was that the decoration on the wedding day turned out well, but our wedding party later told us that our coordinator was acting annoyed and asking them what items belonged to the rental company and which items were to be put away and where because the bride had never told her. This is not only unprofessional, but rather frustrating as we had detailed all of this on two occasions with Jubilee, once at the meeting, and on the day before the wedding at our rehearsal. If I had to do it again, I would have paid more to hire someone more dependable with better communication.Jubilee Weddings and Events's reply:

When you book I do advise every bride that you can get one of two coordinators, either me or Leslie. This is also in our contract, so you were aware. Leslie is a very experienced coordinator and she has done over 200 weddings with yours being the only bad review she has ever received (see previous reviews). She also sent her a text the following day saying "Thank you so much for everything!! It was a perfect day thanks to you!" So I'm confused on why you think differently now. I did investigate this situation and the confusion on the rentals at the end of the night was because you had rentals from multiple companies and when she got there all the rentals were already in place so she didn't know where they went at the end. There was one person (a bridesmaid) left at the end of the night with a small car and the bridesmaid was frustrated that everyone left her to take everything. I know Leslie and my team went above and beyond. Leslie even went to the store to buy all your ice for your bar with no reimbursement because your bartender only showed up with 2 bags of ice. You had also added an extra staff member for 6 hours and I ended up sending 2 extra staff members for 12 hours each which is 18 hours of free services that you received. So I know all of us went above and beyond for your wedding and I'm sorry that you feel differently.

Disappointed in the coordinator
Melissa wasn’t helpful, and didn’t show up to the final review. She was told at the venue in January that the final review would be in June by the owner of the venue and myself but she was a no show. They did a nice job decorating, but didn’t do much coordinating. In fact they did the bare minimum. My photographer, dj, and venue owner had to step in and handle things and do the time management, basically coordinating the wedding. Melissa was very rude to my mother and family day of the wedding. I’ve heard from many guests and my other vendors on how awful she was day of our wedding and the lack of working she did. We were charged over $1000 for her to be there all day, and feel taken advantage of. We’re extremely disappointed in this coordinator. -

Would Not Recommend
We would not recommend Jubilee Weddings and Events, especially to other same-sex couples. While searching for a wedding coordinator, we considered Jubilee because the services, price, and location matched our needs. We did not see any indication on their website that they worked with same-sex couples (should’ve been a red flag), so we actually emailed and asked if they did. The owner responded and said, “yes we absolutely work with same sex couples and have worked with many in the past and present”. After that, we decided to hire them.
At our rehearsal, the main coordinator assigned to us couldn’t make it, so a substitute was there instead (I believe he was the owner’s son). When we arrived at the venue, he did not greet us or initiate a conversation about how the rehearsal would go. We had to ask him what the plan was, and it seemed like he didn’t really know. Once everyone arrived, we gathered to go over the instructions for the rehearsal. While speaking to the entire group, he repeatedly referred to us as “the bride and groom” even though he knew we were both brides. This was extremely embarrassing, considering our family and friends had gone out of their way to show their support for us. It made us look bad in front of our most important loved ones. It revealed that we chose to hire a vendor who lacks professionalism. It was also humiliating.
As a same-sex couple we do experience the world differently, so (we thought) we went out of our way to select vendors who would understand this and be sure to treat us respectfully. My wife was very upset by the incident and spent the morning of our wedding dealing with her emotions, worrying about what our family and friends were thinking… worrying that people didn’t see or accept us for who we are. No bride should ever be worrying about this on her wedding day. I spoke to the substitute coordinator at our rehearsal and corrected him, and he apologized to me, but brushed it off as a mistake.
On our actual wedding day, the coordinator (Kari) who helped us was very nice and fairly helpful, and she did communicate with us professionally. But I did want to mention that they did not bring the specific items we requested- cake stand, card box, etc. They brought different ones than what we had requested. Additionally, the seating arrangement was set up incorrectly and I had to speak with our venue manager to correct it. These are not the end of the world- but considering we paid for this service, not great. -

HORRIBLE. Do not book!
I absolutely would NOT recommended Jubliee, specifically Melissa. I originally booked for day of wedding coordination services in 2020 and ended up rescheduling to 2021. I booked with her because she had great reviews and was one of the cheapest prices I’d seen (now I know why).
From day one, Melissa would take weeks to respond to any of my e-mails, even with me following up 2-3 times. And when she did respond, she was very short and would not answer all my questions. Throughout my whole experience, I was so confused what I was paying for because she wasn’t doing anything that was outlined in my contract. She basically just sent me a questionnaire to fill out regarding my timeline and called it a day. I followed up to have a phone call about the decor and day of information (per my contract), which she ignored. This prompted me to be very organized with my decor as I couldn’t help set up and I assumed she would have no idea what’s going on since she barely talked to me in the 2 years I had her booked her. Isn’t the day-of coordinator supposed to be well versed in what the couple wants so we don’t have to do all the work?
The kicker too. I was told by one of my other vendors during the rehearsal that my coordinator said I “didn’t want her there.” No. To my own fault, I hadn’t realized I would have to pay to have Melissa or someone from her team attend the rehearsal if it wasn’t on a weekday. Probably like for most other people, that wasn’t going to work out for me to have it on a weekday. So, I elected to not have them there. I didn’t feel like paying an extra $200 when I already paid $800 for practically nothing at all. Oh, and the day of the wedding she comes up to me (the FIRST time we have ever spoken not in an e-mail), and asks if it is okay if she leaves halfway through the wedding and someone else takes over. What!???? What am I supposed to say to that? Either “yes” or shit out of luck? Absolutely no warning or pre-approval from me. I’m assuming she had to make her way to a higher paying client, who knows. Overall, I was very disappointed in the communication I received and the fact she couldn’t even do the basic duties outlined in my contract. PLEASE pay the extra money and find someone who actually cares about you and your day. This was the only vendor I was absolutely disappointed with. I'm so sorry you were disappointed in our services. Your wedding was so beautiful and we loved all the unique decoration touches you had, especially your lemonade stand!! You had originally booked in 2020 and Covid hit and you decided to move to 2021. We did move your date with no further fees or changes in pricing, but we had to be creative in scheduling staffing so we could accommodate the change of date and that is the reason we had to split the day. I knew you had spent a lot of time on your decorations so I wanted to make sure I was there to ensure that everything was set up according to plan. I stayed through set up and all the formalities and then my other coordinator who has been with the company for 13 years and is highly capable took over and the assistant was also there to help with clean up. I only missed the dancing/partying. We do have language in our contract stating that there could be another coordinator besides myself and we go over that during our initial call.
We had been in contact with you throughout the process via email. We were sent all the info we needed to run your day and all the questionnaires were completed. You were so organized so we were all set to go without any further questions. I do admit that there were 2 times that we did take about 6 days to respond. I'm sorry for that, but we were hit with emails from everyone at once since they had lifted mandates. Everyone started planning all at once. We would have loved to hear your frustrations during this time, but I never heard anything about you being unhappy until a year later when you submitted this review. I could have made this right and had a conversation with you. If you would like to reach out to me I would love to discuss this with you further.
Covid was really hard on small businesses and we were trying to pull out of it and make everyone happy while also trying to stay in business. I do appreciate your candor and this helps me improve our processes for future couples.
