We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Dave K.! From start to finish, they were absolutely phenomenal. Not only did they keep the dance floor packed all night, but they also went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed seamlessly—even when we had to make some last-minute adjustments to the schedule.
One of the things that really stood out was how effortlessly he read the room and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be. Whether it was transitioning from dinner to speeches, or shifting gears into full party mode, Dave K. handled it all with professionalism and ease. Dave gave us the choice of several DJs with different specialties and at different price points. We worked with Michael, who was incredible. In addition to DJ'ing, he brought and set up audio equipment and managed the audio in FOUR different environments (ceremony mic'ing, cocktails dj'ing, dancing dj'ing, and mic'ing an 8-piece live band...it was an extensive wedding, ha). He was super skilled, accommodating, kind, and radiated low-key, good energy. I *know* it was a complicated set-up, but I did not have to think about it day-of because Michael was really skilled. For the DJ sets, Michael helped bridge the different music my wife and I wanted. He made us feel really comfortable talking through our vision for all the parts of the event. And also wasn't judgey about our music choices. :) FYI, we are a queer couple and had a wedding with a lot of extra stuff from our ethnic background, and found Michael to be was 100% comfortable to work with. -

Dave was super responsive and enthusiastic when I reached out, as well as respectful for our budget needs. He gave us a list of DJs to look through and we ended up reaching out to two of them, and ultimately choosing DJ Lenny Tofu (Lenny Bass). It was an excellent decision. From our first phone call, Lenny was personable, kind, friendly, and a big fan of all kinds of music. He was an easy person to communicate with throughout the planning process, never pushy, and always supportive.
On the day of the wedding he was punctual, professional, maneuvered a ceremony setup that was away from the reception site, and still was consistently kind and friendly throughout. And the music was such a wonderful sensory element to the love soaked day - to have music we picked played, but also other great, complimentary choices mixed in as the backdrop, it was lovely. He crushed the dance floor playlist, playing our picks, but also finding a way to seamlessly mix in requests. Our friends love to dance and can be a little critical of DJs and they were thrilled. His physical setup was clean and tight and he put out some lights at the last minute and wow they really brought the whole vibe together.
In conclusion, hire Lenny, you won't regret it. -

I'm so happy JTD Productions was recommended to us! We were lucky enough to have Dave Leonard as our DJ, and he was incredible! Professional from start to finish, Dave accommodated all of our music requests with ease. Kept in contact, and kept us on track in the days leading up to the wedding. Very easy system for planning your songs and he's super up to the minute with everything Music. Our guests loved him! He kept the dance floor packed and even found ways to make things extra fun for our younger guests. Would recommend him a thousand times over! -

From the moment we reached out to Dave, he was extremely helpful, personable and has great communication skills! Hiring MK from JDT was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. MK is an extremely talented and fun DJ. She had a perfect read on the room at every moment of the night, from cocktail hour through dinner and especially during dancing. Early in the night she got the party started by playing songs that appeal to every generation, then later in the night kept it going with a mix of more modern songs and classics. She knew exactly how long to play each song (she never cut any of the songs off too early), and her transitions were great. She did a great job prioritizing the songs we gave her and everything she played that wasn’t on that list fit in perfectly and showed how well she understood what we were going for. We also told her we didn’t want her to be a hype woman for the dance floor and she did not, she just let the music speak for itself. The dance floor was never empty, and after the wedding, one of the main comments we got from our guests was about how much fun the music was. -

Working with JTD Productions and Dave Keating was an absolute breeze and we can't recommend them enough! We had reached out fairly late in the game because our venue's house DJ wasn't available, but the process was seamless. Their portal for picking songs and scheduling the day was easy to use, Dave K was available as we needed him with questions in the lead up, and we had people on the dancefloor until midnight. Can't recommend them enough! -

MK was an incredible DJ and an amazing presence at our wedding. We really appreciate Dave's recommendation to match her with us. She understood what we were looking for and seamlessly matched our energy. She made sure our curated cocktail hour and dinner playlists went off without a hitch, even integrating a song we wanted that wasn't on Spotify, and she was an excellent emcee for the toasts, first dances, etc. During the party, she checked in with us throughout the night and made sure the music reflected what we wanted while also using an intuitive read with the crowd. Our music taste is not always universal, but we found that MK's facilitation of the music encouraged people to get on the dance floor while not compromising our vision. Everyone was super excited about her song selections and we couldn't have been happier with how she both set and elevated the tone for the whole night. She is down to earth, confident, flexible, and very professional. We could not have found a more perfect DJ, and we HIGHLY recommend MK!! -

So happy we went with JTD and hired Shawn for our wedding! He hit all the must-play songs from our lists and every addition he made fit perfectly with the vibe we were going for. He was very flexible and checked with me first before playing some requests from guests. I really appreciate that he didn't do a lot of talking throughout the night, which was something I had specifically asked him to be mindful of. As a wedding guest myself I've never felt compelled to compliment the couple on their choice of DJ, but there were so many people coming up to us throughout the night to say how much they loved him! -

I cannot recommend MK and JTD highly enough. MK DJ'd our wedding and the did such an amazing job. She looked at all our requests and made sure to match the vibe we were hoping to maintain. She did an excellent job matching to music to the atmosphere of the night. She skilfully moved from mo-town to cool remixes of rock songs to hip hop and contemporary pop. She even tracked down our off-kilter requests and kept the dance floor bumping all night long. She is so talented and professional and just lovely to work with. Getting MK or any other JTD affiliate is sure to be a good choice for your wedding or any event. -

Dave at JTD Productions was incredibly helpful and responsive getting everything set up in the months leading up to the wedding. Through him we hired MK, who was everything I wanted in a DJ and more- we told her we wanted everyone to dance all night and she delivered. I couldn't go to the bathroom because there were no songs I was willing to miss. She understood all of our very specific song requests and worked with us on an event timeline the week before to make sure she was set on all the cues. She wasn't a full MC, which we didn't want, but the wedding would not have been the perfect night it was without her. -

Dave Leonard was an amazing DJ. He was very responsive in communicating with us throughout the process, talked through the vibe we wanted for our wedding, had a smooth system for us to plug in our song requests, and he touched base with us before our wedding. People were raving about how good he was, and his enthusiasm is infectious—the guy clearly loves what he does. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with him. He also has a team of other DJs and our wedding venue said they were great at well. You should absolutely book this guy for your event; you’d be in good hands. -

MK from JTD was absolutely incredible – we can’t say enough about how she helped make our wedding day so special! Her communication pre-wedding was exceptional. MK was able to meet with us twice before the wedding to understand our vision and music requests/vibes. MK and Dave from JTD went above an beyond the week/day of the wedding to work with us on challenges related to weather issues that caused changes to our wedding day flow of events. MK went out of her way to arrive early to the venue and sort everything out so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing! The cocktail hour and dinner music was absolutely perfect. When it came to the reception, MK played our favorite songs and did an excellent job incorporating music so all of our guests could dance and enjoy. I absolutely recommend JTD / MK for your wedding DJ! -

From the beginning when we decided to get married in Bearsville, it was important for us to try and use as many local vendors as possible. Both because they would know the area and venue better, and because we wanted to make sure our wedding dollars were going into the local Catskills economy to support an area we love so much. When looking for a local DJ we got several recommendations for JTD Productions. I reached out online and quickly got a call from Dave Leonard, head of the company. I was impressed by that kind of direct connection and it was very helpful to have a discussion with Dave over the phone about our vision and budget rather than go back and forth over email for weeks hammering out details. After reading some reviews online and looking over their roster of DJs, I knew they would be a good fit for our wedding.
We selected DJ Dave Keating and couldn’t have been happier. Norah and I both love listening to an eclectic range of music and wanted to bring some of our personal favorites into the mix as well as tracks that have a connection with our venue, the Bearsville Theater. JTD Productions web portal made it extremely easy to put together a list of our “must plays” and “try to play” songs as well as a list of “do not plays”. And anything that wasn’t in their system they were able to acquire and confirm with us that they had the proper version. They even provided detailed and easy to fill out forms to give the DJ all the other information he needed to help run the entertainment for the night. A few weeks before the wedding we had a call with DJ Dave Keating to go over everything, he was very thorough and fun to talk to. We put our trust in him to mix together the list of songs we gave him as well as fill in the rest and he didn’t let us down.
During our cocktail hour a work colleague of mine who has a lot of professional music experience came up to compliment the DJ’s performance. And during our first dance session everyone was raving about Dave’s ability to mix together songs and transition from one to the next. He really set a great vibe for the night and kept the party going.
We would highly recommend working with JTD Productions, both Daves were fantastic and they even helped connect us with a local live musician for our ceremony. Accommodating, communicative, organized, professional, and most importantly, great taste in music and sense of timing! -

The best dj!
Dave and his company JTD are the best in the business! They are flexible, kind, supportive, listen to your wants, and make all the magic happen! Dave can customize your music to any style, genre, and period of music depending on your crowd. And he can mix/transition songs like the pro his is, so there isn’t a moment of hesitation on the dance floor! Dave and his team can also play from any Spotify playlist that you create too, and play it in an order that makes the most sense for your party, so you can get in every song of your dreams and have it done in a way that is purely perfect!
20/10 would recommend for EVERY wedding! -

We could go on and on about how incredible JTD Productions was...our DJ, Dave Leonard, was absolutely amazing! Dave was the perfect DJ for our fall wedding in the Catskills, that had a "festival/music" vibe during the reception. We named each table one of our favorite bands, and he rose to the occasion by weaving those artists in throughout the night. He kept the energy going - all our guests were out on the dance floor! I cannot say enough great things about Dave Leonard. He went above and beyond for us with our wedding at very step of the way.
We had our wedding in a big empty field, which had some challenges, especially when it came to setting up electronics like music, and coordinating for our musician friends who were playing as well. Dave took the extra time and effort to coordinate all things music ahead of time so that everything was under control, and we didn’t have an extra thing to worry about.
His positive attitude is infectious, he’s a great communicator, prompt with responses while also being patient (which we greatly appreciate because we’re not great at timely communication ourselves😅).
As I’m typing this, I just got a text from one of our guests saying that our wedding was one of the funnest they’ve ever been to, and I can confidently say that much of the credit for that goes to our DJ.
We couldn’t believe it when we came back from taking our couples’ photos and the dance floor was completely full before dinner was even finished being served! It was exactly the energy we wanted on our big day, and we’re grateful we had Dave to make it so. -

I had the pleasure of working with Mike Pinelli and JTD Productions on a wedding this October. The venue is pretty DIY, and the day had a bunch of moving parts, and Mike took all of it in stride. He even moved ALL of his equipment indoors for the dance party portion of the evening, after we did the dinner outdoors under a tent. The crowd didn't seem like they would be super rowdy, but once we got inside, Mike made sure that every guest had a great time and played the perfect music to get them dancing. -

Dave from JTD Productions is incredible. While we booked him because of being a family friend, I highly recommend his services to everyone. After the wedding, most of our guests told us how it was the best wedding they had attended to date and were so exhausted because they couldn't get off the dance floor. Our goal for the wedding was one giant party, more than any other aspect, and we were able to accomplish that with Dave's services! He was attune to all our requests, changed some things last minute that we asked for, and ensured that we had the perfect wedding. He's responsive, friendly, and prompt! -

We had Michael as our DJ and cannot say enough about how amazing he was through the whole process. He did so much more than just provide us with excellent music. He was a wealth of wedding knowledge and seemed genuinely interested in making our wedding the best it could be. We had a somewhat non-traditional venue without a defined spot for a DJ and he helped us figure out the best location for him and the dance floor in various scenarios/weather we might experience.
To be honest we were on the fence between a band and DJ and I can say without a doubt we made the right choice. We initially had a phone call with Dave and he was super helpful in answering some of our questions/concerns and finding the right DJ for us.
Regarding the music itself, it was seamless. Michael was so in tune with what we wanted for each part of the day (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing), that it was as if someone was reading my mind and playing everything I wanted to hear at all the right moments. JTDproductions website has a fantastic section in which you can order songs you’d like to hear based on priority (must hear, want to hear, please don’t play). We did ~20 of these as inspiration for Michael and after a short zoom call to meet us, he ran with it and absolutely nailed it on our wedding day. He was also more than willing to stay longer than originally intended at the end of the wedding when our guests wanted to keep dancing late into the night.
Fantastic company and seriously amazing DJ they have in Michael. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a DJ who is going to listen to you, read the vibe of the party, and help make your day that much more special. -

We could not recommend JTD Productions any more highly! Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding three times, but Dave and his team were extremely flexible which we really appreciated.
Our DJ, MK Burnell, was outstanding. She met with us prior to the wedding to get a sense of who we are and what we were looking for with the music. She nailed it. She perfectly weaved the songs we chose in and out through the night and it was clear that with the songs she chose that she understood the assignment. Additionally, she was on time and had a great energy throughout the night. 10/10! -

DJ Dave knocked it out of the ballpark!!!
My son got married August 5th, 2022 at the Senate Garage, in Kingston, NY. Since we didn't live in the area, we relied on DJ recommendations from the vendors we hired. Dave Leonard, from JTD productions was highly recommended to us by many people. I had spoken to him on the phone, and I loved his energy, personality, knowledge for music and basically, I felt confident that he knew how to run a party. My son and his fiancé (wife now) talked to a few other DJ’s, but chose Dave for the same reasons that I said above. I spoke to Dave a few days before the wedding to go over the time line and I knew we were in good hands.
WOW WOW WOW! What a wedding. Dave was amazing. He sure knew how to run a party. The energy in the room was the most incredible thing I have ever seen. He transitioned songs so well, between all the different music the kids had chosen. My son said, “his transitions were impeccable.” The kids wedding was the talk of the town and people said the music was incredible and asked, how did you find a DJ that great? So all I can say is, hire Dave Leonard. We were so fortunate to have found him. -

The original DJ we booked through JTD got COVID but they put us in contact with a replacement right away. Our DJ, Dave K, was fabulous. I had 4 different playlists planned for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception dinner, and reception dancing and he was able to incorporate them all. He even was able to play my obscure Anime songs during the ceremony prelude. He was able to make short clips of all the different intro songs our bridal party wanted to enter the reception with. Even when our parents threw off the toast schedule and ended up giving more toasts than what we had originally told Dave in our timeline he was able to adapt in the moment. Dave was fantastic - we didn't have a lot of time to spare to plan out music and Dave was patient and followed up when weren't responsive (eventually we got our act together...mostly) - but he made sure the music was great and fit us and kept people on the dance floor having fun! -

My husband Alex and I got married on 6/4/22 at Taconic Ridge Farm in Hillsdale, NY and we are very happy that we hired JTD Productions for all of our sound needs! We had a few snafus along the way (our original venue BURNT DOWN 7 months before the wedding and then our original DJ from JTD got COVID right before the wedding) but Dave Leonard from JTD assisted us with ease through all of these challenges. DJ Dave Keating ended up doing all of the sound for our wedding (including the ceremony and cocktail hour) and he was amazing!! I don't think anyone would have guessed that we didn't end up even speaking with him until a day or two prior to the wedding. He was a skilled emcee throughout the night and kept everyone on the dance floor through the whole evening. My friends and family LOVE to dance and he really did an awesome job, and the night was really seamless from start to finish. We would recommend JTD and DJ Dave Keating to anyone if they want quality sound, a fun party, and a highly professional experience. -
