Amazing job & service - Live music & DJing!

Jon was AMAZING to work with. First of all, he was so patient during our 2 year wait due to COVID delays. He was super flexible with us, responsive and easy to work with. He came out to meet me in person when we were deciding on Santa Barbara, which no other vendors did. We had a pretty untraditional plan - live music (trumpet & guitar) at our ceremony, then a New Orleans style Second Line with 5 more horns for a procession from the Courthouse to our venue, and then DJ at the venue. JON HANDLED EVERYTHING. He played drums in the second line and DJ'd/MC'd the reception. Our dance floor was bumping from the second it opened to the minute we exited. He incorporated a ton of our feedback/playlists, and both played some pretty out-there requests that got the dance floor jumping, and screened some requests out at his discretion, which I think you need in a good DJ. I also thought he was fairly priced for all the service he provided. We had a welcome party on Friday night that he DJ'd as well (& played electronic drums over the playlist) and from that point on our whole 100 person party was obsessed with him. He loves what he does and he's great at it. Would 100% recommend hiring him!

ALLSTAR, professional, talented & kept dance floor packed

Jon was AMAZING to work with. First, he loves his profession and it shows by the amazing musicians he brings & their energy!!
Had a solo vocal/guitarist during cocktail hr, then a trio playing during dinner, and 7-piece band for dancing. Band has a versatile song list for you to review and highlight beforehand.
The band created an amazing atmosphere for guests. Dance floor was always packed, even during the band’s break and the DJ mixed from our Spotify song list we put together (mostly, house & hip hop) Post-wedding, everyone kept remarking just how amazing the band was!

I am so glad we found Jon / JSH music - not only because of the talented musicians but throughout the entire planning process Jon was always responsive, helpful and willing to adjust plans / terms as needed to accommodate our requests (I.e. added a solo vocal/guitarist for cocktail hr)
Have no doubt when booking Jon / JSH that you’re setting yourself up for a fun and memorable event.

Nailed it! Perfection.

Jon is simply world-class when it comes to executing music and audio for an event. Our wedding in Solvang was at a winery with no in-house equipment, so we needed two separate sound systems and a live jazz trio, which Jon effortlessly executed. From providing all of the needed equipment, to helping to scout the venue for ideal setup locations, to helping to curate the music and hire exceptional musicians from LA for the wedding - Jon exceeded our every expectation. He will work with you on everything from live solo guitar players to jazz trios to full top-40 or country groups, or simply a DJ - whatever you can imagine, Jon can make it easy.

As a musician myself, I was somewhat neurotic about making the music aspect of our wedding perfect. Jon not only worked with us on our wishes and accommodated each request with respect, he personally ran the sound equipment, played drums, built playlists and DJ'd, but also coordinated everything so it ran smoothly and blended in with the vibe of our vision. Not to mention his equipment looks clean and professional and sounds STELLAR!

THIS IS THE GUY you want to trust with such an essential aspect of any event - the music. Could not recommend him enough.

Mother of the Bride

Jon was amazing from the first call to book him til the end of the wedding!
He will be the first call we make when my next daughter gets married! He had everyone dancing from the beginning til the end! It was a magical wedding and one week later our friends are still texting “that was the best wedding ever” and we attribute it is a large part to the great music!

Want to find a reason to hire them again!

Jon Harris was fantastic! He understood our desires right away and went beyond the call of duty to make sure we got what we were dreaming of.

He brought a GREAT level of energy. The band made the reception totally fun. They read the crowd and knew when and how to get things going! We could NOT have been happier. We had so many guests compliment the band afterward.

They were completely professional. I sent Jon a song list and some spotify playlists and I never thought about it again. He handled fade-ins and outs and the ceremony sound and the breaks - all without me worrying about a thing.

They even worked with my dad the day of the wedding to do a surprise toast that incorporated different songs as he spoke.

I can't say enough good things. I highly recommend.

JSH Music Productions Quintet

JSH Music Productions' Quintet performed for our event and were beyond outstanding! They performed their sets at just the right volume-you could carry on a conversation and enjoy the music without a problem. The Quintet had a wonderful energy , were enthusiastic and we would definitely use them again.

Jon and the Stir Father musicians were amazing! Picking the songs for our sets of music was one of my favorite wedding tasks. As a bride I did not have to worry about them day of at all, they were completely professional with their sound check and set up, and all communications. Plus they ROCKED and had everyone on the dance floor. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone!

We hired the three piece jazz band for a 50th wedding anniversary. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We interviewed 10+ DJ and music vendors before John came to our rescue. Do you know how hard it is to find a DJ that can get every guest dancing from babies to grandparents from a variety of cultures? It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. John is your needle in the haystack.

John will go out of his way to make your wedding the event of the year. His energy and charisma is unbeatable, and he’ll tailor your music needs to exactly what you’re looking for and make added suggestions on top. Some DJ’s just want to play the type of music they are comfortable with vs. what you need. We were a multicultural French American wedding with unique tastes and he made our playlist exactly right for our special day. John found us amazing live musicians to also play what we wanted, and then busted out his DJ skills in the late evening. He even suggested adding an electric drum set set to his sound system and busted out rythm in conjunction to the tracks. I didn’t even know this was possible and it was amazing!!!

Very highly recommend. Save your time with the rest, and just contact John.

Using Jon and his group was the best investment I made. This was our first time hiring live entertainment for an event and I was very apprehensive. Jon took care of everything. His band, Stir Father, was great and he arranged for other entertainment as well. Our party went off without a hitch and was our best ever. Will definitely hire them again and refer.

Jon has done the Fess Parker Company holiday parties for a few years and brings his A-game to each and every one. Our employees enjoy his music selections and have a great time on the dance floor. Jon always checks for any special requests we may have, but truly we leave it all up to him and he has never let us down. Jon will always play anything an employee asks for at the party and watching Jon, he puts his all into his job and is very well liked. I can't imagine having our annual event without JSH Music.

We got married on September 23, 2017 in Solvang at K'Syrah. Jon provided music for our Friday evening cocktail party as well as the Saturday wedding event. Jon was so great to work with, from the initial email and phone discussion and then an in-person meeting. Based on our desires, he proposed several options to accommodate our wants and budget. Once we agreed on both, and I continued to work on the details of both Friday night and Saturday nights events, he was responsive to my questions and very helpful in making sure the flow of the music was to perfection. I told him my idea of a special song I wanted to walk down the aisle and he said he would have his vocalist learn the song and do a version that worked with our theme. I asked him to do two additional special songs throughout the evening, in which he was more than happy to have his band accommodate (all surprises to my fiancé). My fiancé had asked him to surprise me with an instrumental serenade based on one of my favorite movies, and again, Jon out did himself! Music is so important at a wedding and it can make or break the vibe and mood of the guests. One concern we had was the noise level of the band in the venue, during dancing as we had some older people and didn't want them being overwhelmed by the loud music; Jon assured us he could modify the noise level and he did a great job of that Saturday night! I highly recommend Jon and his team for any event. Thank you to you and the other band members. The vocalist was wonderful as well!

Jon's band The Free Radicals made our wedding a non stop dance party! I am so so glad that we decided to spend more and get a band, it was worth every penny. Not only was the band fantastic, playing hits that everyone at the wedding could rock out to, Jon was also super easy to work with leading up to the wedding. From our first conversation, we immediately could tell that he would be trustworthy and reliable, and we were not disappointed.

Besides the band learning a new song for our first dance (and a couple extra favorites), Jon also helped us select songs for our ceremony music which was really clutch as we were getting down to the wire with no strong ideas. So other than being a great band manager and drummer, he was awesome at consulting with us. He even took time out to meet with us in person during one of our pre-wedding planning trips.

In addition to the band, Jon also provided a solo guitarist to play the ceremony music and cocktail hour, and Erich was great! Walking down the aisle to acoustic Elvis instead of pre-recorded old fashioned orchestra music was so much more special!

Can't say enough good things about Jon, his band, and his overall service. You will not regret working with him!

To all couples looking for a rocking band for their wedding - look no further! Stir Father knocked it out of the park and exceeded every expectation we had. They got everyone on the dance floor, had such a great range of music genres on their set list, worked with us to learn what songs we wanted to hear and even learned a couple special requested songs to play at our wedding. We heard from so many guests after the wedding about how awesome the band was. Great people, great tunes and too much fun!! It truly made our entire wedding having them be a part of it. Jon at JSH Music Productions who is the drummer of Stir Father and was our main contact in coordinating ahead of the wedding was so responsive and easy to work with. In addition to our reception band (Stir Father), Jon worked with us to provide music services (an acoustic set) for our Friday evening rehearsal dinner event, as well as brass players for a "second line" parade that happened from our wedding to our after party. Every last detail and request was accounted for and coming from two avid music lovers, we were above and beyond happy with all musical elements involved in our wedding weekend! My husband I just got married at the Coral Casino in Montecito and I can't tell you how unbelievable our music was! Jon and JSH did an absolutely amazing job! From our initial contact with Jon he was professional and made the entire process of choosing our music so easy. For our wedding we had a small jazz trio play during dinner, Jon mc'ed during the night and then we had the Free Radicals band play. The Free Radicals band has a great play list and Jon and the band played all the exact songs we picked from a lengthly song list that Jon provided to us to choose songs before the wedding.
The jazz band during dinner was perfect not too loud but really nice background dinner music. We highly recommend it. The Free Radicals band is high energy and all of the musicians are so talented and the vocals are amazing! Our guests came up to us and told us how much they loved the band and how good they were all night. When the band took a break music was dj'ed and the exact songs we picked were played. We highly recommend splurging for The Free Radicals, jazz band and dj services to add a variety of music to your wedding or event! The best wedding band hands down in the Southern California area!

JSH music was such a pleasure to work with! Jon was so easy to communicate with and he didn't need much in order to understand my style of music. It was easy to let go and let him and his band handle things. The acoustic guitarist during the ceremony and cocktail was spectacular. He covered Beattles songs, at my request, and just nailed it. The energy that the band brought to the reception was seriously what made the entire night. No one left the dance floor and so many guests came up to me to ask for the bands contact. The Stir Fathers were just incredible. They nailed every song. They're vibe fit the crowd and we all just had the best time listening and dancing. They're playlist flowed with the evening just right. Our event was an 80th birthday celebration for my mother. It took place at our ranch where we have an outdoor dance floor, so we wanted dance music. I was able to choose all of the songs from the 6 page list. Also, we added the 3-piece horn section because my mother loves the sax. A particular song of hers they were able to play that was not on the list, Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass, "A Taste of Honey". This was the opening song. They also accommodated our desire for a tribute song for her brother who passed away 30 years ago. All along the way, over a period of 6 months, Jon Harris, the band manager, was professional, timely, upbeat, and accommodating. Our guests said it was the best band they have ever heard. Choosing the band Stir Father was the best decision I made. Their performance was fabulous. We also compiled our own music selection for the cocktail/dinner hour and band break DJ music (cocktail/dinner hour was chosen along the theme of bassa, samba, Sergio Mendez type beat and band break music was laid back 70's choices) which Jon was able to accommodate, setting the tone for the different periods of our party. I highly recommend choosing JSH Music Productions and Stir Father for your next event.

Jon provided a killer sonic landscape for our wedding! He paid close attention to the type of vibe we wanted and totally nailed it by creating a custom curated playlist for the entire evening. Jon also brought in a guitarist, fellow musician Erich Schneider, who was perfect for what we envisioned for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Erich even created a customized acoustic version of one of my favorite songs for when I walked down the aisle. We received multiple compliments on the music throughout the night and days following. When we look back on our wedding, music factors heavily into our favorite memories, I'm very happy we chose JSH Music Productions!

Jon did an exceptional job of DJ'ing our wedding. We met with him in person about 6 months before the wedding, and he presents himself very professionally, and personable. We discussed the vibe for the wedding, our music tastes, guests, and things of that nature. Before the wedding, we exchanged a few emails, with some songs for specific parts of our wedding, along with a general list of songs for the dancing part of the reception, so he could get a feel for the type of music we would like. Our guests all had a great time, and Jon was a major part of that experience!

Jon and Erich were absolutely fantastic! They exemplify top-notch, professional music service that genuinely care about the experience and memories for their clients. Jon is AWESOME! He's an amazing DJ - everyone was dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! So many people commented on how much fun our wedding was, which was partially due to Jon's DJ skills! We were amazed by how many people danced and kept dancing at our reception and that was entirely due to him. We also hired Erich, a guitarist, through Jon to play music during our ceremony and he was also great. Can't say enough good things about Jon and Erich! Thanks so much to both of y'all!!

Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and the music was no small part in that. Matt and the Vineyard Byrds brought just the right energy to our event. The music was familiar but delivered in a fresh and fun way. The dance floor was packed and the crowd was into every song. The band was gracious and Matt's infectious personality made everyone feel like family. Working with Jon was a delight. I could not imagine having a better experience than Jon provided.

Given that we had a destination wedding, we went solely by the recommendation of our wedding planner. From the moment we met Jon, we were immediately pleased. He was so kind and attentive to us on the day of our wedding. He quickly introduced himself to us and put us at ease as we entered our reception. He was very professional with a fun light-hearted personality. Prior to the wedding I sent all of our requests and I was not disappointed on the big day. All of our requests were met, while Jon added his own twist to our musical likes. He created a fun, upbeat musical atmosphere which had all our guests dancing till the last possible minute. In fact, people were begging him to continue, but could not due to the venue curfew. I look back on our wedding day as the best day of our lives, and Jon was so much a part of the many memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Stir Father was an amazing band! They rocked our outdoor country wedding that had all the guests raving about about them. They are skilled and talented musicians. Many guests asked for their name because they wanted this band at their next event! It was our main goal to support local and knowing Jon personally I knew he would make it happen and he did. Thank you for making our wedding memorable. The music was epic!!!! It went by so quick, but a great time. We love good music and appreciate all your hard work! You guys did a great job! The music at cocktail hour {we didn't hear personally} but were told it was great! The background music at dinner was right on target. Best of all, of live band during the dance party was fantastic! We loved every minute of it and we know guests did as well. We still get compliments on the band to this day. We are thrilled with your entire performance, and are so happy we felt like we were at a concert!

Our guests are still raving about the band. From the pre-ceremony and ceremony instrumental, the cocktail hour duets, dinner background music, and a wide variety of dance music...the band was just what our son and daughter-in-law wanted. Jon was easy to work with and understanding of our needs. I highly recommend JSH music. The addition of Dave Bernal for country vocals and harmonica was fabulous. I wish I had another event so we could use the band again.

We hired Jon to take care of all announcements and sound for our June wedding. He is an amazing MC and DJ! He supplied all the sound for our ceremony, dinner music and reception. We worked together off a playlist my husband and I created. Throughout the wedding Jon added in his own flair with music choice and was spot on. Our friends and family loved every minute of it and had a blast on the dance floor. The additional lighting definitely added a special touch. I highly recommend using Jon for any event!

We hired Jon, and Stir Father for my daughters wedding reception at the Granada Theater in Santa Barbara in March. I would give them 10 stars if possible! The band played almost continuously and went into overtime until midnight. The DJing between sets was perfect and the sound engineer helped make everything perfect. Jon was very responsive to all requests and learned several additional songs that my daughter, her fiancé or I requested, including a specially modified rendition of "We Are Young" (You're So Young!) for the father/daughter dance. There was a great synergy between the band and the guests that made for an unbelievable party celebration. Everyone is still talking about that evening... Thanks to Jon and all the band members!

I would highly recommend JSH Music Productions if you are looking for great entertainment for your wedding. Jon worked with us for months figuring out the best songs to play at our wedding. Jon was very responsive both by phone and email to answer any questions we had. We met with him multiple times to check out the different bands he plays with and they ALL were great! We hired the Just Dave Band for our vineyard, country themed wedding and we couldn't have been happier. They rocked the house all night!! They truly helped make our wedding the best night ever!

We are so happy that Jon from JSH Music Production made the journey from southern California to the north coast for our wedding. This guy was AWESOME. I can't thank Jon enough. My wedding coordinator had amazing things to say about him, but it didn't all come into play until the wedding began. I loved every single song he played, the way he put each song I requested together with other similar songs and created such a great mood for the cocktail hour, reception and dancing! The wedding party had such a great time my dad extending him to stay an extra hour! He was unobtrusive in his announcements as MC, classy and fun! He even visited our table to see how we were doing and see if we had any requests and double check the way we wanted the rest of the evening to run. :) On top of it all, he wore a nice pair of jeans, a nice shirt and cowboy hat to our wedding since it was a country theme! The lighting, music, MC, and everything was perfect! Couldnt be more happy with our decision & our wedding planner's recommendation!

Couldn't have been any happier with our wedding! Although our wedding was in Northern California, communicating with Jon was breeze. Whether by email or phone, Jon was very helpful in making suggestions and very flexible with our numerous last minute timeline changes. He moved the wedding along perfectly which helped my wife and I have more time to dance and hang out with our guests.

Between my mom, my wife's parents and ourselves, we only gave Jon a handful of music requests and told him to run with it. Having a half Latino wedding, we were going to need a good variety of music and Jon nailed it. With salsas, merengues, hip hop and rock, we had parents, friends and even grandparents on the dance floor until the very last song.

Jon also suggested the Schneider father/son guitar duo for our ceremony music and they were great. We chose the songs we wanted for our aisle walks only weeks before our wedding and they were able to learn the songs they didn't already know and were right on queue with everything.

I received many compliments on the music for the day and was told it was the most fun they'd had at wedding in a long time by many of our guests. Although I don't plan on getting married again, I would highly recommend JSH Music Productions for any event. Can't imagine how much fun the live band would be.

DJ Jon was extremely willing to work with us to make sure we had the perfect playlist for our wedding...whether it was the nice songs that acted as a great background to dinner or the party songs to dance to during the reception, he just nailed it! If you're looking for a DJ that can take care of any kind of reception and knows what kind of music of music to play based on what the crowd is feeling, while also being hands off enough to know that the focus is the "fun," then DJ Jon is your man. Can't recommend him more highly.

Jon Harris and JSH Music Productions provided all of the music at our wedding -- acoustic guitar with vocals for our BBQ rehearsal dinner, Spanish guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and DJ and live rock (Stir Father) for our reception. Jon and his guys rocked, and we recommend them highly.

Before the wedding: As our wedding was on a private vineyard, where we had to build out all of our own venues, Jon visited the property months before the big day and helped us figure out how to set up for each event -- recommendations that worked out perfectly. Jon was always responsive with quotes and proposed set lists, available by both phone and e-mail.

Rehearsal BBQ: We did a casual BBQ for all our guests rather than a traditional rehearsal dinner. Stir Father's lead singer sang and played amplified acoustic guitar, providing a fun and mellow atmosphere as our guests mingled and celebrated. He also happily accommodated roasts and two friends who wanted to sing. Jon was there to help set up and to make sure it all went smoothly.

Ceremony Music & Cocktail Hour: Great Spanish guitar. Handled our music choices well, hit his cues perfectly, and provided great background music for the cocktail hour. Set the mood and perfectly matched the event's vibe.

Dinner & Dancing: Jon and Stir Father were, in a word, awesome. Jon nailed the cue for our arrival song and was ready to go with each of our set-piece dances. Then the band kicked in -- and they rocked. Stir Father started with music that all our guests would enjoy, then moved seamlessly through the set list that we'd worked out ahead of time. They sounded fantastic covering everything from "Video Killed the Radio Star" to "Paradise City."

Our photos really tell the story: a full dance floor with guests of all ages having a blast. We had such a good time ourselves that we decided to skip our early departure and have the band play an extra half hour. They even took it in stride when our of our guests, rockin' out at the front of the dance floor, tripped over a monitor and took the lead guitarist down with her.

Jon and the band weren't cheap, but they were worth it. We wanted our wedding to be a big party for all our family and friends, and JSH Music Productions helped make it exactly that.

We could not be happier with the level of service that Jon provided. From the get go Jon was extremely professional, defined what his role consisted of, and let us know what he would need from us. We received such amazing feedback from all of our guests on how fantastic of party our wedding was. The dance-floor was packed the ENTIRE evening. My criteria for a good wedding was people dancing, a little drunk, and well fed. Jon sure did help in achieving one of our goals. I would highly suggest him to anyone else!!

We booked Jon Harris as DJ for our wedding in June and would highly recommend him. From the first time we met Jon, over a glass of wine joined by his lovely wife, we knew everything was going to be great. In the planning stages Jon was responsive to emails and well-organized. He worked with us to make a great set-list for the reception party and he is confident, calm and very professional on the microphone to keep things ticking along nicely. Jon was able to play a great selection of songs that we had chosen before hand and also seamlessly include a couple of requests for others at the party. Most importantly, he was super easy going and kept a calm and fun attitude throughout and easily adapted when we inevitably morphed from the schedule that we had so carefully planned out. Jon is a great DJ and if you have a bigger venue than we were working with he also has a couple of bands which sound like they would be really fun. Thank you to Jon for helping to make our wedding a special day and a fantastic time was had by all.

We were so happy with the services provided by JSH for our wedding in February, 2009. We used Jon's jazz band for the first part of our reception, and they were fabulous! Provided exactly the atmosphere we wanted during dinner and Jon even arranged for our nieces to sing L-O-V-E with the band. After dinner Jon switched over to his DJ service and had the room dancing until the very end. The pictures are proof that everyone was up and moving around! Compared to the prices for the other entertainment companies we looked at, JSH provided quite deal for the high quality they delivered. Jon was wonderful to work with and very organized and responsive. I would highly recommend them!

Hello future brides/grooms,

JSH Music Productions played for my husband's and my wedding reception in August 2008. We could not have been happier with not only how great the band sounded/played together, but the fact that our "first song" is performed by a woman, and therefore, we needed a DJ service as well. The band's instruments were all well kept and beautiful and the sound quality of the DJ equipment was clear and crisp. JSH Music Productions was very professional, kind, and full of great energy! Our dance-floor was certainly full of happy and greatly entertained guests. I would definitely recommend this band/DJ production to any bride or groom hoping to have a great and memorable wedding reception!

Professional, great to work with, very talented musicians! JSH Music Productions hosted the music for our wedding weekend. The jazz band played at our formal reception, cocktail hour, and background music during dinner. Lively and fun when they needed to be (cocktail hour) and subdued during the dinner. The music was great for every age group too. Jon provided the perfect entrance announcement for my husband and I and accommodated to changes in the timeline. Our 'day two' party was at a vineyard barn...the rock band was AWESOME! So much fun, I can still picture everyone dancing! They really exceeded my expectations. The sound level was perfect too, I've been to weddings where the band is so loud it's uncomfortable.

JSH Music Productions provided live jazz music for the outdoor cocktail hour following our wedding ceremony and DJ services for the reception in October 2009 in Berkeley, Ca. We loved working with Jon - he is enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does. We spoke to him several times leading up to our wedding and he was willing to spend plenty of time with us to understand the feel we were going for.

The jazz quartet was very professional and all our wedding guests loved the sophisticated and fun cocktail hour during sunset on the patio. Jon did an excellent job with introductions and announcements - he kept the event moving smoothly along but never tried to "steal the show," as I've seen some other DJs try to do. A guest gave us a surprise hula performance partway through the reception which he handled expertly - he even had appropriate music. He also did a great job accommodating our request for a short movie screening - he provided all the necessary equipment and all the technology worked seamlessly.

For the dance party, we had chosen several "must play" songs and Jon did a great job suggesting other music we might like. Most importantly, he kept the dance floor packed almost an hour past our planned quitting time! He has a terrific sound system and lots of fun lights to set a great mood. (Make sure your DJ has lights because it makes a huge difference in the feel of the dance party.)

Overall, my husband and I were completely happy with our choice and would highly recommend JSH Music Productions for your wedding or other event.

Everyone LOVED Stir Father!!! It was the best show in town! :) Even other people staying at our wedding resort that werent at the wedding were getting their information for future hired services. My parents loved them and said they were worth every penny. They got their boogie on all night. And if you like classic rock you cant go wrong with this band! They were off the hook! We LOVED them. They even played AC/DC awesome and live!

Jon did a great job providing the musicians and performing as DJ and as drummer in the band. The violinist and pianist for the ceremony were first rate and professional, and the band, the Vineyard Byrds, was excellent. I would highly recommend Jon to take care of all your musical needs; rehearsal, ceremony, reception, whatever.

I absolutely recommend JHS Music Productions! Jon was the DJ for our wedding last month and he did and fantastic job! He is easy to work with, reasonably priced, and had a great selection of music. I appreciated the he was able to keep the wedding moving, but did not take over the event. Plus, he played a great mix at the reception which kept the guest on the dance floor ALL night long!

i just wanted to say how perfect you were. not only did you play every song we wanted, every song you threw in was pitch perfect and so fun. you hit it on the nose tonally, and even somehow found a random perfect song in "do you love me?" in 8th grade i entered a lip lync contest with three girls who were all at the wedding, and we did that song, of all songs. my preggers maid of honor was the boy, and we all had bee-hives. getting to dance to it on my wedding with them was such a highlight.

thank you for being perfect, and making it all flow. got a million compliments on the music. so grateful.

We had such a blast at our wedding and one of the main reasons was due to our music entertainment! We hired JSH Music Productions for our wedding ceremony music (acoustic guitar), cocktail hour music (DJ music) and for our reception dancing which was a live band called Stir Father. Everything was just perfect and exactly what we envisioned. The acoustic guitar played by Erich Schneider was so beautiful. We provided Jon Harris a list of songs that we would like to hear during the cocktail hour and I remember hearing all of them and even others that I didn't tell him but were favorite of ours too. He understood our taste and style. The band blew our guests away! If you are looking for a band that can play rock, funk, and pop songs, then Stir Father is the one for you. Our dance floor was packed. The band members interacted with our guests (our group is not shy) and helped make it an unforgettable party! Most of our guests were from Chicago and they made sure to add some touches of Chi-town persoanlity. We appreciated too that the band learned a new song or two for us which made it very special especially for the father/daughter dance. Thank you JSH Music Productions for an EPIC time at our wedding.

We hired JSH Music Productions for a reception band (the Vineyard Byrds) and Jon Harris (the drummer) was also our MC and DJ'd the cocktail hour, the background music for the dinner and music for first dances, etc. Jon was very helpful ahead of time to cater to our every whim and quirk when it came to music selection and special requirements for the ceremony setup, etc. He was very friendly and down to earth and delivered excellent service during the event. All the DJ'd music played flawlessly and without interuption. He was a great MC as well because he stuck to the sequence of events and was still able to adapt when we were running late. When it came time for the band to play, they brought a great energy into the reception and kept the dance floor packed. All my guests, young and old, enjoyed themselves, and I heard nothing but good things from everybody. Most people raved that it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding. And the band was also able to learn two new songs for us and played them perfectly.

Awesome band, Jon was hired to do the music for the reception as well as "dj" the ceremony. His on-the-fly decisions and back-up possibilities were WELL above and beyond the call of duty and made the day that much better for everyone! They play what you want them to play, not what they want to play and they do it with a fun-loving energy and shear professionalism!

Jon Harris and his band Stirfather were fantastic. Great vocals and overall sound. They helped keep our wedding reception partying rocking until the very end. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Jon and JSH Music Productions were a great 'one stop shop' for wedding planning. With one contact, I was able to secure my ceremony music, cocktail hour music, DJ during dinner and band for dancing afterwards! It was perfect! Jon is very responsive and flexible and happy to answer any questions or provide any assistance needed. He even helped us find a wedding coordinator!
