    Great Experience

    Madeline helped us plan our daughter's wedding. She and my daughter spent a lot of time together to understand her vision, and Madeline executed it perfectly and added so many beautiful touches. Her experience is extremely helpful leading up to and during the day. She helped us pull it all together and planned a perfect day! Thank you so much for your creativity and support.

    Wonderful experience!

    We hired Madeline for day-of coordination and she went far above her job description. She started messaging me about 8 months before the wedding, giving me an overview of her part and letting me ask questions. On the day, she communicated very well and adapted quickly and calmly to any mishaps. I also really appreciated the affordability of the packages available. We absolutely recommend using Joybird for your planning or coordinating needs.

    Very Helpful!

    Madeline was extremely helpful on the day of my wedding. She went above and beyond even offering to go run to pick up food for the bridesmaids before the ceremony. We are so very grateful…she downloaded my walk out song counted the seconds on her phone so I could walk out at the correct time. She is so professional, and reaches out periodically leading up to the wedding. She is highly qualified and offers help and experience whenever and wherever

    Problem Solver!!

    I chose the day-of coordinator package and I am so glad that I decided to have someone there to help us throughout the day! Madeline and her team solved so many little problems that would have been a huge pain for my mom and I. For example, our table seating chart kept falling and it eventually broke, but Madeline fixed it to where it wasn't noticeable at all. Also, the caterer was supposed to stay and cut the cake but they didn't. Madeline stepped up and started cutting cake and serving guests. I would definitely recommend!!

    Life Saver!

    Madeline literally made this whole thing happen. I had basically no decisions made and connecting with her was the first step I took towards getting my wedding planned. She took care of everything, answered all of my questions quickly, and made sure everything went incredibly smoothly!

    Best Decision Ever!

    When planning my wedding these past 11 months I was fairly confident that between myself and various family members we could handle the entire thing. About halfway through the planning process we quickly came to realize that was not entirely the case. This led me to my search for a day of coordinator. I found Madeline and Joybird Planning and immediately reached out and talked to her and was immediately impressed with not only the coordinator options she provided but also the pricing. She was always quick to answer emails and was nothing short of helpful. Fast forward to the day of she was fantastic, things went a little awry but she kept me and my fiancé calm and handled things perfectly and kept us in the loop the entire time. There is absolutely no way we would’ve been able to have as smooth of a day as we did without her!!

    Incredible!

    We hired Joybird Planning for our day of coordination and I could not be happier! Madeline and her team are SUCH a joy to work with. We also had an ordeal with our hair people and Madeline jumped in and literally saved our day. I genuinely would not have made it through our wedding without her!

    I could not have been more wrong

    Our venue required a day-of coordinator - as a military spouse, I pride myself on being an expert planner. I prepped well in advance for everything. I had checklists, color coded spreadsheets galore, and everything planned down to 15 mins increments, I really didn't think I would need extra help... oh, I could not have been more wrong! Madeline and her team were lifesavers! I highly recommend to anyone on the fence about needing an extra hand, please reach out to Madeline, she will be the angel you didn't know you needed.

    Excellent Service and Top-Notch Business!

    Madeline and Joybird Planning Group deserve thousands of stars!

    Madeline was the glue to my wedding day. I hired her for day of coordination— the only regret I have is not hiring her to be my wedding planner for the entire process. She is such a kind person, and she listens. I had many meltdowns and concerns, and she addressed them all with a smile on her face and a plan. She goes above and beyond to take care of her brides. She was readily available via phone, text, and messenger at all times. She made me feel like I was her only client, even though she takes care of several brides! She gave the best advice and assisted me with the tough decisions. She arrived at the venue before I did, just to make sure everything was going smoothly. She gave me instructions on what to do (during cake cutting, etc) because my nerves got the best of me! She even helped with my music playlist and played it during the ceremony and reception! She kept the bridal party pumped up by bringing us coffees, snacks, and food— which wasn’t even asked of her. She done it because she wanted to ❤️ I will be hiring her in the future for other services for my family, because she is excellent and one of the kindest people I’ve met.

    Great Choice to Hire Madeline

    Madeline was an excellent resource to have on my wedding day and the months leading up to the day. She checked in often prior to the wedding and maintained a positive attitude even during stressful times. She was very flexible with us when we needed to reschedule a meeting at the venue, and she was always prompt. She was a lifesaver the weekend of the wedding, and everything went smoothly largely in part due to her coordination. I highly recommend Madeline!

    Perfect Planners!

    Joybird was the perfect team of planners for our wedding. With a short engagement of 3 months and all of my detailed visions, Joybird tackled them all and executed them exactly how I envisioned! They are extremely kind, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. They always went above and beyond for us, and my husband and I always talked about how grateful we were for Madeline and Tiffany during our wedding planning. :) We can't recommend them enough!

    Fantastic!

    Madeline is AMAZING! I am so thankful I found her to help me with my wedding. I only needed a day of coordinator and Madeline created a custom package that worked out great for my wedding day. There were a few hiccups during my wedding day set up and I never had to worry about them. Madeline and her assistant Tiffany took care of them while still keeping me informed. She reconstructed my cake that came demolished, it looked fantastic! When the DJ broke half my red wine bottles she made sure they were replaced and the mess was cleaned up before I even knew what happened. Having her there to help with timeline, vendors, set up and break down, and overall communication made my day so stress free. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Some of the best money I spent on my wedding. Madeline and Tiffany have the best personalities and were such an asset to my wedding day. I can’t thank these ladies enough! (&& she took this great picture of my husband and I!)

    I didn’t know how much I needed her until…

    I can’t say enough about my experience with JPG! From the start, Madeline approached our partnership from my perspective—but somehow was able to amplify my vision to something beyond my dreams. It was my first, but my husband’s second marriage. So we wanted to be sure to be respectful of my soon-to-be stepson, as he’d be part of the ceremony (as well as mixed-family and relatives). From gently guiding us through that process; to everything from refining our color scheme and bidding out local vendors (aka, being my hired muscle in this competitive wedding business I wasn’t prepared to juggle myself), Madeline was a dream consultant. She was great on the day of as well! She is such a gentle soul, but was able to whip our wild bunch of groomsmen into shape and had everyone walking the aisle like a runway! (I didn’t even remember we had to come up with an order to walk in— she took care of all of that)! I don’t often take the time to write reviews but I’m extending my highest recommendation without hesitation for Joybird Planning Group and Mrs. Madeline Clark, because quite simply, she made what was killing me with stress before I found her (the all-consuming process of wedding planning, etiquette, vendor negotiations, etc) she took off my shoulders and made it fun (and beautiful) again.

    Don’t Second Guess Yourself, Book Now!

    Joybird Planning Group was everything I didn’t know I needed for my wedding day to be perfect. I had expressed some concerns of our wedding day ahead of time and Madeline was wonderful at ensuring I was calm and didn’t need to worry about anything leading up and day-of. She was prompt in her responses, anytime I had a question, it wouldn’t be long before she had a response. Madeline was always professional and well put together. You don’t realize there are other brides in her life based on the interactions you have. Our experience was incredibly personable. JPG was simply dreamy to work with, and someone you want to be friends with after!

    Joybird Planning Group is truly one of a kind. Maddie is so easy to work with and just a joy to be around. She makes sure every detail is picture perfect from the second she arrives until the day is done. You seriously couldn’t ask for a better planner.     Wedding Review

    Madeline and her team were helpful with setup and cleanup. However, during setup, all of our wedding decorations were not set out, including key decorations on the head table. Organization and following my vision for the wedding was a struggle. I was frustrated with the communication as we had to remind the coordinator of timeline details to be added/removed the day before the wedding even though these details were provided in online resources and in meetings in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Her team did not know who the bride and groom were ahead of time. Also, many decorations were not utilized and for our the cookie table many cookies were not even placed out. The coordinator adjusted well on the fly, but we felt that some of the adjustments needed were due to lack of preparation.

    Alyson, thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback with us. We are sorry that you feel your experience with Joybird Planning Group was unsatisfying. Below are some thoughts that our staff and lead collected to share our side of the story.

    1. We set out all of the decorations that you gave us. You were short three white lace runners as well as greenery garlands for your head table. My staff and I used your bridal bouquets to add some flower detail to the table. All mock table pictures from the Drive were properly followed. Your "in memory" table had to be repurposed after the ceremony to make room for your cookie and sweets table. There was another 8 foot folding table but unfortunately, there was no room to put that due to the size of the patio and space available so it could not be used for desserts.

    2. We set out all cookies that came to us and restocked them throughout the night. We used the three servers you provided as well as searched the house for more since the amount of cookies was greater than the platters that were provided. If cookies were somewhere else in the house, we apologize for missing them, but no one told us that their cookies weren't present.

    3. A table layout was never sent to us or placed in the drive. Your MOH came to show me a layout you had on your phone after tables were already placed. We went ahead and moved table numbers to ensure that immediate family was placed with importance. This would have been avoided if we were given the layout from your phone a head of time. Madeline even addressed this with you and apologized for your mistake during a quick bathroom break.

    4. No one on our team arrived without Madeline to "not know who you were." It is hard for anyone to adjust to seeing someone in person for the first time and not over the computer screen. Your rehearsal/wedding day was the first time Madeline, or anyone in her staff, would have seen you due to you living out of state. However, Madeline knew exactly who you were upon seeing you. The staff that was present that day was also properly introduced to you and were fully aware of who the bride and groom where throughout the entirety of the event. It sounds like our assistant processing your request during a a busy moment of clean up was mistaken as "not knowing the bride and groom."

    5. The two timeline items were removed the Tuesday before your wedding, not the day before which we apologize that oversight. Removing a dance or bouquet toss from a timeline is by no means a stressful matter. During your reception you removed the "shoe game" from our timeline minutes before it was set to start.

    Mediocre help, bad professionalism

    The owner was very responsive most of the time and was flexible. However, their professionalism is questionable. I spent 7 months planning my wedding on my own, a lot of hard work and thought put in to it just for the owner to call my hard work a "crap wedding." This was posted on a public transaction between the owner and her helper for that day
    I am in shock and hurt that someone would say something like that about our big day just because it wasn't up to their par... Just because a wedding isn't expensive doesn't make it any less special let alone "crap" the owner refunded me what I paid her and asked me to take down the review but never apologized for being hurtful and saying what was said but stated it was the assistants fault. I just think people should know how this company speaks about their clients.

This experience involves an employee who had access to one of our owner’s phone for payment purposes. This employee has been terminated and a full reimbursement was issued instantly. We are eager to show how our company made the necessary steps to not only apologize, but do everything in our power to move forward respectfully and professionally with all future clients and employees.
