    Seamless, enjoyable and easy

    Joy planned and organized EVERYTHING for me. Since I live out of state in Florida, having her up in PA to handle all of the details from start to finish (and I truly do mean all of the details) made our lives so much easier and took a tremendous amount of stress off of us. She asked us our preferences and what we envisioned for the day and she made that happen better than I ever could have. She went above and beyond for us and she did a magnificent job. I fully recommend her to anyone who is looking to plan a wedding or event in the future. She will make your life EASY and you’ll have fun along the way!

    Awesome communication!

    Our wedding day was the most stress-free experience thanks to Joy and her staff. Her communication leading up to and day of the wedding was amazing and she always responded promptly to any questions we had. We were grateful for her expertise as she brought so many little details to our attention that we hadn’t even thought of for our big day. We will definitely be using her in the future for other events!

    Highly Recommend

    Working with Joy and her team was the best part of our wedding. Every step of the way I felt like I had a best friend instead of a planner. She handled all situations with ease and was constantly solution focused.

    My parents additionally felt she was extremely helpful to them and completed any request with a smile.

    I also want to make a shout out to her two assistants that were on site for our event. Both were very friendly, helpful and created a beautiful environment for our wedding.

    This team is the best of the best.

    Thank you Joy and team for everything. You all made our day so special.

    Instant wedding stress relief

    My first call with Joy I immediately felt relief from wedding planning stress. Joy and Courtney made me confident I could trust them with all my day-of-coordination needs so I didn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. They were super flexible and eager to help in anyway we needed. The wedding weekend, Courtney went above and beyond setting up table displays, lawn games, guest favors and working with vendors. We were so happy to have her and absolutely would recommend using Joy of Events to any couple planning their wedding --even if you don't think you need much help!

    Hire Joy of Events!

    We’re beyond happy we hired Joy of Events for our wedding planning. She sourced incredible vendors that made our day perfect. Joy is very responsive and was able to calm all nerves leading up to our wedding day.

    On our wedding day, she was perfect! The ceremony started on time, every vendor was set up and in place; the timeline was seamless. She went above and beyond making sure all payments/tips were distributed, and so many other things that we didn’t even see her accomplish. Joy was continuously checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

    Hiring Joy of Events was the first step in our wedding process, and the best decision we made. We highly recommend hiring them, you won’t be disappointed!

    Hire Joy of Events!

    Joy of Events was a real dream to work with! Joy was attentive on all our prep calls, and responsive via email and text. She is so knowledgeable and friendly and has such a calming presence in an otherwise incredibly stressful time (wedding planning). During the rehearsal she was very organized and was able to wrangle my large wedding party into following directions (which wasn't an easy feat). The rehearsal process was seamless, and stress free for me which I loved. On my wedding day, Joy and her team were on site and worked well with the vendors to get everything set up. The ceremony went off without a hitch and cocktail hour and reception coordination/facilitation went well too! Overall I can't express how grateful I am to Joy and her team of hardworking staff. They really put my mind at ease and had everything covered/handled. I can't recommend Joy of Events enough! Hire them!!

    Professional and happily helpful! Highly recommend

    Joy made our wedding day go smooth, without any hiccups! I was stressed leading up to the day since we only hired her as a day of coordinator, but I’m glad that we were able to fully enjoy our day. Joy set up our decorations better than I could have imagined. She worked well with our other vendors and went out of her way to make sure that we have everything we need. I highly recommend joy for any future events!

    Joy brings joy

    As my wife has often said, "Joy brings joy". Working with her was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was totally willing to support our vision of a mini-ceremony/microception with a large vow renewal/anniversary reception a year later and made it go as smoothy as you could possibly imagine. The amount of leg-work she did to find locations and vendors that suited our vision felt astounding and she accomplished so much while keeping even more off of our plate. During the stressful times in our lives, she was completely understanding and supportive. She was also reachable at any time and always let us know when there might be schedule conflicts. By the end of it all, we had friends and family saying the reception was one of, if not the, most fun parties they'd ever attended. She embraced our vision of sustainability with local flair and helped set up the most perfect day we could have imagined.

    Joy of Events is Central PA’s BEST wedding planner

    Don’t wait—hire Joy now! She helped me plan my wedding from across the country and pulled off a beautiful and perfect event. I had left all major details until about 5 months before the wedding and Joy swept in like a true professional and helped me sort everything out. We figured out her package that provided weekly calls was best for my needs as well as day-of coordination and honestly, hiring her was the best use of my wedding budget! She’s an excellent listener, has a great vision and is so helpful in sourcing options and ideas. The way she presents options too, are so beautiful, organized, and professional. Her vision boards helped me really figure out what I wanted my ceremony programs and table tops to look like. When florists were being wishy washy over taking on another client, Joy sourced 3 more for me who met my vibe for trendier instead of classic floral designs. Joy is calm, cool, and collected at all time, and you can really tell she loves event planning. What was my nightmare was her puzzle, and she was so excellent at pivoting to meet my expectations and needs always. Being cross country was hard but Joy was my “boots on the ground” and putting my trust in her saved my wedding from being scattered and lacking in beautiful details.

    I can’t recommend Joy from Joy of Events Group enough. Her price point is very fair, her services are unmatched, professional, she goes above and beyond and will make you feel like your event is the most important day in her year. Don’t wait—hire Joy immediately, no matter where you are in your planning process. Your only regret will be not hiring a planning sooner!

    Joy's staff was awesome

    Wow, Joy's staff went above and beyond to make our day amazing. From assembling our charcuterie table to serving cake to our guests, we couldn't have done it all without Joy's team. Thank you so much for your flexibility and incredible effort.

    Joy and Tyler were just what I needed to make our daughter's wedding as enjoyable for us as well as everyone else! I still had a little control issue, as my daughter pointed out to me later. BUT I know that it would not have been such a wonderful day without Joy of Events leading the way! Thank you so much!

    Got the job done

    We decided to have strictly a day of coordinator so our family and friends could relax and enjoy the day, without jobs to do. I don’t think that ended up being successful for my bridesmaids specially, who still helped with a lot the day of. I’ll first admit that I probably should have booked the coordinator for more time the day before and morning of. We felt that the coordinator on the day of seemed more of an extra helping hand instead of a leader. There also seemed to be some communication gaps between what my bridesmaids knew I wanted and what the coordinator knew. Overall, wedding day went without anything remotely important going wrong, so overall a success for both the coordinator and my bridesmaids. It took a village and we’re appreciative of all the help
