  Joy was the best photographer for our wedding! From the first time we met her, we knew we could completely trust her to run the show without worry. She did a fantastic job, brought incredible assistants, and we didn't even notice them there throughout the day. The finished product is absolutely gorgeous and gives us so much JOY looking through our album and photos. We will absolutely use Joy again for future family events!

  Joy is the best! She had a great balance of posed and candid shots that really captured the feel of our wedding. The pictures came out beautifully and we couldn't be happier. We received over 700 shots (on the prettiest thumb drive I've ever seen) which allowed us to really pick and choose our favorites. We were working on a budget and Joy was very helpful, flexible, and accommodating to our needs. Matching hats was such a great deal. A hidden gem! She was so sweet and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!

  While Joy couldn't shoot for our wedding due to the arrival of their second child, Austin and a close family friend were not only great photographers but great with the wedding party as well. They were very accommodating, willing to move quickly to get memorable moments and shots of our wedding, and personable. The photos were beautifully edited and they included some black and white and sepia versions for us to choose from. The book and DVD of 600-some photos that we received afterwards were perfect and allowed us flexibility that I know a lot of other photographers don't have. Really appreciate Matching Hat's work and I recommend them to everyone that I know who is getting married!

  From our first email to the exquisite coffee table book they designed for us, this husband and wife team has far exceeded our expectations. For camera-shy people like ourselves, Matching Hats was the perfect choice, as their pictures are never forced and look naturally stunning. And their price is a bargain, considering that you're getting 2 professional photographers vs. 1 photographer + 1 assistant. But most of all, Joy and Austin are just awesome people with a love for photography. We had a great time with them and they made our wedding beautiful.

  Joy and Austin are amazing! They were easy and relaxed to work with, but also punctual and well organized. Their sense of style and composition is tremendous and made getting my pictures so much fun! I will use them in the future for other big life time events. They were able to capture the small moments and energy of the day! Highly recommended.

  Amazing! Not only were they extremely professional and friendly, but the pictures far exceeded any expectations we had.   An amazing team that captures your special day like no other. Easy to work with and extremely flexible and accomodating. They shot my winter wedding in South Lake Tahoe and I receive nothing but oohs & ahhs from people viewing my photos.

  I can not even begin to explain how happy and pleased we are with Matching Hats. From day one Matching Hats has been very responsive and patient with us. I had a destination wedding and wasn't actually able to meet Joy and Austin in person until the day of wedding. We did chat via Skype and we felt really comfortable with them. The day of the wedding couldn't have gone smoother! My husband and I felt at ease with them and they never felt intrusive. It also helped that they have a great sense of humor and are so easy going. They were professional and patient with our guest as well. Matching Hats is a 100% true value.
