Our photographer David is phenomenal at what he does and truly a master at his craft. I’ve followed David on Instagram for years because he photographed my friend Krystals wedding. I knew that hiring David was my firsr and only choice when it came to my wedding. He was communicative from start to finish, knowledgeable and dedicated to making our wedding photos timeless. He knows where to get the perfect shot and I am so grateful to know him and what he stands for at JoVon. I have known quite a few photographers in the past, but David will capture your photos that will touch your heart and soul. -

To JoVon, Dan and the entire team from my SURPRISE wedding: I am at a true loss for words (which I know is probably surprising to you). I have only seen a couple of shots the guys showed me on the camera at certain points throughout the night - and you have already made all of my dreams come true. BEYOND ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS!!!! While I think of the right words to thank you, I just had to at least send you a note telling you how grateful I am. Not only that, but your team is just such a well oiled machine. They took everything you specified to them from my worksheets and just made it happen. On top of that, they are the kindest, most communicative group, and they work so well together. And you all made it so much fun. You are very lucky to have such a dedicated team who truly cares so much about what they do!
I cannot thank you enough for your patience, hard work, and excitement, which made me even more excited about everything than I already was. I know this takes time, and I will certainly aim to be patient but I am SO EXCITED to see what you guys put together and I know you captured my wedding to perfection. I will just be waiting on the edge of my seat over here 😂

My husband and I had the most incredible experience with the JoVon team!
I met with the owner, Mr. JoVon, to discuss the vision I had regarding photography and videography for our wedding day. We came up with a package that worked best for us, discussed an estimated timeline of the wedding day, and he showed me samples of different photographers' work - I fell in love with Sonny's pictures as his style and eye matched what I was looking for.
We did an engagement shoot with Sonny in Dumbo. Sonny made the shoot fun and adventurous! My husband and I still talk about how much fun we had that day. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL and really captured us as a couple and our relationship.
Lisa at the JoVon office sent us paperwork to fill out - a "shot list" - so that the team knew ahead of time what we wanted captured for our big day. Lisa always responded in a timely manner. I spoke to Sonny on the phone before the wedding to highlight what the priority shots were. While Sonny and I were both concerned about the tight timeline we had for the wedding, everything worked out in the end.
Sonny, Pat (main videographer), and the rest of the team on our wedding day were an absolute pleasure to work with. They had us, our bridal party, family, and friends laughing all day. I cried from laughing so hard multiple times! Sonny and Pat had beautiful ideas and suggestions for shots while also making sure they covered what was on our shot list. Sonny checked in with me often as some things out of our control threw off our already tight timeline to make sure they got the shots we really wanted. The team was creative, professional, adaptable, accommodating, and kind from start to finish. Even when Sonny and Pat were technically done for the day; Sonny saw my husband's side of the family gathering to take a large family shot on their own and he went back to get his equipment to take the photo.
Sonny recently sent us our sneak peak photos and they are absolutely STUNNING. I love every single shot that I can tell it's going to be hard to pick favorite pictures for our prints and albums. We are so excited to see all of the photos as well as seeing the video edit!
Run, don't walk, to book Sonny and JoVon for your next event! You won't be disappointed! -

My husband and I had a great experience with this company. Our main photographer was Sonny and our second photographer was Joseph. All I can say is wow!! We were so impressed with them. I’ve never seen a team work harder than they did on our wedding day. Great communication, kind, and super talented. Photography was the single most important thing to us and they absolutely nailed it. Sonny even brought a list with him of our must have photos. :). He has a great eye for light and background. Our wedding photos are beautiful and we have so many to choose from!! If you are looking for a wedding photographer please ask for Sonny! He is awesome. -

Breathtaking
It's 630am the morning after my wedding and the photographers have already sent us a few of the most beautiful/amazing digital photos I have ever seen. I can't even believe that the photos are of us! The team is so creative and their experience really is, in my opinion, unparalleled. I know a lot of photographers/videographers may try to boast similar experience, but the value proposition with JoVon is how they are able to couple that with creative elements I don't think you could find anywhere else. Also, they are SO GOOD at providing direction, which is very helpful when you're as stiff as me and my wife, haha. But the final product is some of the most breathtaking photos you'll ever see EVER (seriously, check them out on IG). Beyond that, the entire crew was so easy and fun to work with that they felt like family to us. David, Ashley, Balal, Ethan...really EVERYONE at Jovon will forever have a special place in our hearts because they were able to capture every moment so beautifully for us. I don't know what else I could say. I am not from Long Island, but I recognize that weddings here are often particularly extravagant. But even if you're not having a super expensive, very big wedding, Jovon has the ability to almost sensationalize your big day in a way that makes you feel like it was a million dollar wedding. Now what are you doing reading this still, check out their IG and call them. -

A MUST HAVE for your big day!
My fiancé and I could not be more thrilled with our photographer David from JoVon Photography.
We searched pretty extensively and visited with several studios before carefully selecting our photographer/videographer for our wedding day. We knew as soon as we met David there was something special about him and his work, so we locked in our wedding date as well as our engagement shoot date ASAP.
We just received our photos from our shoot with David in Central Park last week and I am on cloud 9. The photos are stunning! I have spent my entire evening (since 4pm) looking at all of the photos over and over again. It is bringing me such joy and making me so excited to shoot again with David on our wedding day.
Also, the engagement shoot was such a great time to get to know David, and for him to get to know us. We also learned how to pose properly and not look super awkward! Haha
I highly recommend you check JoVon out, and ask for David and his team. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -

JoVon came highly recommended to us by several people, and they were listed on our venue's preferred list- they were absolutely AMAZING throughout the entire process of scheduling (and rescheduling twice due to COVID) , and our photos are STUNNING.
We first reached out in early 2019 for our originally planned May 2020 wedding. We went to the studio and met with David who walked us through so many sample photos at our venue and answered all of our questions. While David wasn't available for our day, he made suggestions based on meeting us and we decided to work with Jaclyn for both our engagement shoot and wedding day.
Jaclyn is an unbelievable talent, our engagement photos were taken in Central Park and are amazing. She's fun to be around and has a great eye for lighting- she's also very creative and was awesome with our dog!
On the day of our wedding ( a much smaller event than originally planned) Jaclyn came with an assistant, Sal and our videographer was Pat who was also joined by an assistant They had such amazing energy and worked incredibly well together, bouncing cool creative ideas off one another and capturing beautiful shots. Also, and just as importantly, they were FUN to be around and super nice --- this is incredibly important to consider when choosing a photographer since you'll be spending hours with them on the day of your wedding.
I cannot recommend JoVon enough, and highly suggest Jaclyn as a main photographer and Pat as a main videographer-- they are a dynamic duo, a dream team! -

We used them for photo and video. Our main photographer was Jaclyn and she was amazing!! In fact the whole crew was amazing, we just got our pictures back (on time! Yay) and they got everything we wanted every important person and emotion. Highly recommend Jo Von. -

We are thrilled that we chose JoVon Photography and Videography for our wedding at The Royalton in Roslyn. We knew from our Engagement shoot with Dan that we had made the perfect selection. Our amazing team of Dan, Gabe, Ethan, Rob, Lina, and of course Jovon, went above and beyond to make our wedding day memorable and spectacular. They were all the ultimate professionals and happily captured all of our desired portrait combinations, which was not an easy feat- with a large family and a bridal party of 16 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen. They also made sure to catch so many fun and special candid shots during the day while we were getting ready, and throughout the ceremony and reception. The teasers we have already seen include some of the most innovative and exciting shots of our wedding that we could have imagined. Thank you for helping to make our day so special! -

5+ stars to David Roth and his crew at JoVon photography! We are beyond pleased with our results so far from our wedding 9.1.19. We’ve seen a few of the photos from the night and they are incredible! We can’t wait to see what is to come! They had great ideas for poses, photos, and videos! I cannot recommend JoVon Photography enough. Everyone is super helpful and responsive. We worked with David and he is the most talented photographer, period. He is not afraid to get on the ground to get you that perfect shot, and he keeps everything so light & easy that you are comfortable the entire time and don't even mind that he's there, this is so important because this comfort is reflected in how your pictures come out. You can count on receiving both eye catching photos, and my favorite, photos like I am attaching below; which are not posed pictures, instead photographs of a captured moments; moments that perfectly depict feelings in that very second of time. I love how our hearts are completely shining through in these. They're natural, and that's a direct result of an outstanding, personable photographer that allowed us to be ourselves, and did not stop for a second, so to not miss shots like these. So, thank you David (and team). The photographer was the most important vendor to me, and to have keepsakes like this, is exactly why. -

From the first day that we met Dan during our engagement shoot, he made us both feel comfortable and we had the best time taking pictures. Dan has a very artistic sense and captures the most beautiful moments. Fast forward to our wedding day on 8/23/19 and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Dan, Carlos, Gabe, Arianna, & Ray we’re all excellent and we had the best time working with them. Our teaser pictures/videos are absolutely stunning and we cannot wait to see what else they captured. We are forever grateful for Jovon Photography & Video for helping to make our wedding day “picture perfect” and we highly recommend them!
