Fantastic photographers, fantastic photos
We were so happy with our experience with Joe and Mary on our wedding day and the results of their work. As soon as we met them, we knew they were the right choice for us. They provided us with a clear timeline of what to expect on the day, we never had to worry about any moment being missed. Joe and Mary were so flexible; even in moments that didn't go according to plan, they were flexible to provide the shots we wanted. When we met after the wedding to see the final photos, we were blown away with the quality of pictures as well as the special moments they captured and various mediums they provide (prints, thumb drive, album) are of amazing value. We will look back on these pictures for the years to come and always remember them for their work. Most of all, we felt like were in such good hands; Joe and Mary provide a personal experience, taking care of our needs and making us feel comfortable from start to finish. Many of our guests have commented to us about what great photographers they are. We would recommend them to any couple! -

Beyond beautiful
I first met Joseph and Mary four years ago when I choose them to be the photographers for my oldest daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I couldn't have made a better choice. The pictures where absolutely beautiful and had no doubt, when it was time for my younger daughter's Bat Mitzvah, this past December, that it wouldn't be any one other then Joseph and Mary taking those pictures. Once again, they did not disappoint. The pictures are beyond beautiful. I am so happy that they are the ones that were able to document/photograph these most important occasions in my family's life. If I could recommend them over and over again, I would....that is how amazing their work is! -

Wedding Day
Joe and his wife were great. It was my son's wedding and they did the best job. They got great pictures and worked very hard all day. The day of the wedding is a very long day and they were with us from start to finish. -

Spectacular!
My wedding took place on 11/17/2019. Joseph and Mary were a pleasure to work with. They were polite, pleasant as well as professional. Wedding 101219
Joseph and Mary were absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. The pictures came out absolutely gorgeous and everyone is blown away by the fact that we received proof albums of all the pictures. I emailed a list of all the pictures I wanted to Joseph less than 24 hours before and the day of the wedidng he had the list memorized and made sure every single picture I requested was taken. They were such a pleasure to work with and made our day and our memories so special. They drove to our house less than a month after the wedding to give us the proofs. Any time I reached out to them they responded promptly. I would recommend them to anyone I know and I can't wait to use them again in the future!! -

A professional easygoing experience!
Joe and his wife Marie are very nice professional people. The price they gave us for our Wedding photos and albums was great and they do high quality work. They were on point for our whole event and very attentive to our wants and needs. Joe and Marie made us feel comfortable on our special day. The photos came out great and we would without a doubt recommend them to anyone looking for high quality work at a great price. -

An amazing photographer to choose
It was a pleasure working with Mr. Mancuso. From the moment of the first phone call he was professional and calming. I called so close to my event and was so frazzled but by the time our conversation ended I was calmer. He gave me the time to consider my options and was never pushy or demanding. He presented options to fit my budget which was greatly appreciated. He even entertained every text messages and answered every question promptly. He came early to event and was ready to start almost immediately. The photos came out even better than what I expected and he was so on his game that I can't think of any pictures I may have wanted but didn't get. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a great photographer (even if you think you can't afford still call). -

I could not believe how amazing he was!
I found Joseph Mancuso online and everyone told me I needed to really know his work, but I trusted my gut and I am so glad I did. First of all, it is rare to find someone who will give you printed proofs as part of his package, but that was important to me. Second of all, his pictures are stunning. He caught the exact spirit of the day and how we were all feeling. His pictures tell the story just as we remember it and experienced it. Plus, he was polite, professional and not in the way. I would hire him again and again! -

Joseph and Mary Mancuso are one of the nicest couples we have ever met.
We absolutely love all the photos they took at our sons Bar Mitzvah. They are beyond incredible!! They have serious talent and we were so excited to see them all and re-live what was one of the best day of our lives.
They went above and beyond at our sons Bar Mitzvah. They were so relaxed and friendly, making us feel very comfortable posing for photos! It was such a pleasure to work with them. We really appreciate the fabulous photo shoot at the Temple to the great shots they took at the party.

My wedding was on August 11, 2018. Joseph Mancuso Photography was the BEST!!!! Joe and Mary were so amazing the day of the wedding and the days leading up to the wedding. I couldn't say one bad thing about them. I received my pictures when they said I would and loved every one of them. They are a dream team and know this business so well. My husband and I chose Mancuso Photography for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with that decision! I opted to not have a videographer, but wanted the pictures to make you feel like you were at the event and that is definitely what we received. We left part of our planning to the last minute, including the photography for the day and were so fortunate that Joseph and Mary were available for our chosen date. We were so thrilled with our son's Bar Mitzvah photos. They were truly wonderful! I don’t think there was one bad photo of our son among all the proofs we received. We were lucky enough to have Joe and Mary photograph our wedding. They were extremely professional, punctual, totally accommodating and most importantly talented. They truly captured the most amazing day of our lives. Having the two photographers was really special because moments were captured from multiple angles. Mary took many shots in black and white and they look like they are straight out of a bridal magazine! Joe looks around the room, and knew exactly where to put us, what poses to do to get truly stunning shots. Our wedding was such a special day and we keep looking through the pictures and are able to relive every moment thanks to Mary and Joe. Another great thing that you get when you book with Mancuso Photography is all of the proofs. Not many photographers print out the pictures for you anymore. This was a major plus for us. We love having the hard copies to bring with us and show friends, as well as the digital copies and then of course the professional book. Thank you both for capturing our special day. -

Joseph and Mary were great! My husband and I were running a bit behind schedule but Joseph and Mary made sure to get all the pictures we wanted throughout the event. They are great with keeping in contact. They got us the digital and hard copies of all of our event photos and boy are they beautiful. We were nervous about the pictures because neither of us feel comfortable with pictures of ourselves but we have to say, Joseph and Mary did an amazing job we can even honestly say we love so many pictures of us from our wedding day. Mary and Joseph Mancuso (Joseph Mancuso Photography) traveled from Long Island to photograph our son’s Bar Mitzvah in New Jersey on September 16th and we are thrilled that they were willing to do so! Absolutely everything about working with them and the products they delivered, are worth shouting about! The photos we received are fantastic; we couldn’t be happier! They captured the day beautifully – from the entrance to the venue to some family photos at the end of the day...and absolutely everything in between!
Moreover, Mary and Joseph were an absolute pleasure to work with. Of note, I found them on the internet and did not meet them in person until the day of the Bar Mitzvah. However, I spoke to them on the phone a few times and called some of their references…who gave them rave reviews….and now I understand why! They are very professional, were always responsive, and clearly wanted to make sure that they captured all of the photos that my husband and I wanted taken and that we were happy with their services. Furthermore, having shopped around, I can tell you that their price is a fraction of what other photographers charge, and the products they delivered less than 4 weeks after the Bar Mitzvah -- a beautiful album with prints of more than 400 photos and a DVD with all of the photos -- surpass what many other photographers would provide for a much heftier cost. If you are in need of a photographer, I highly recommend Joseph Mancuso Photography! -

It was an absolute pleasure working with Joseph and Mary. They are an amazing couple. They made me feel like we were family. They were on top of everything and so prepared. My husbands button came off on his tuxedo and Mary sewed it so fast that I didn't even know it had happened and my dress was so dirty from the photo shoot in the grass but she had these wipes that took the dirt right out. It really was amazing how well prepared they were, they went above and beyond the expectations of a photographer and that's just a bonus, the photos were absolutely beautiful. The shots they took and the angles were perfect. Everyone at my party loved them and kept saying how they couldn't believe how great they were and were extremely happy with the quality of the photos when we received them. Joseph and Mary are hands down the best photographers I have ever met. -

From the moment you meet Joe and Mary, you realize that you've found something special. I cannot believe how amazing they are, and how well they work together as a team. During our initial consultation, I looked at my wife-to-be after about five minutes and we knew we had found our photographers. As someone who works in the weddings industry, I've met a lot of photographers. Many of them are good, some of them are great at certain things, and a few of them are not so good, but NONE of them are the total package like Joseph Mancuso Photography.
The day of, they were SO ACCOMMODATING despite our day not progressing as perfectly as we planned it (what a surprise!). Throughout the schedule changes, location changes, last minute picture requests, and nervousness of what we were about to do, Joe and Mary made us feel at ease and taken care of - they were literally the rock that we clung to and made the rest of the day feel so much smoother.
They worked hand in hand with the videographer we booked, seamlessly making his job easier and (I think) he did a better job BECAUSE they were there to assist him.
During the wedding and reception, they got all of the shots that mattered (and then some). They did such a great job that we had many requests for their card and my friends will all be getting (STRONG) recommendations from us when they plan their weddings. We knew they were doing a great job the day of, but four weeks later when we first got to see how all the pictures came out, we were even MORE impressed. What an amazing collection of memories that we'll have for the rest of our lives - honestly, we couldn't thank them enough. They even managed to make me look good enough to deserve to be standing next to my now-wife (which is no easy task)!
Our day would have been completely different (and MUCH MUCH worse) if we didn't have the fortune to find and hire Joseph Mancuso. I cannot recommend them enough. -

Kaitlin and I had our wedding ceremony at St. Elizabeth in Melville and our wedding reception at Larkfield in East Northport on May 13, 2016. Our day was absolutely perfect and thanks to our exceptional photographers, Joe and Mary Mancuso of Joseph Mancuso Photography, we have every single highlight (and then some) captured for a lifetime.
My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Joe and Mary as our engagement photographers and afterwards there was no question that they would be our wedding photographers. Joe and Mary are professional, kind, receptive, organized, and most importantly talented. They spent the time with us beforehand to listen to what my bride and I envisioned and wanted from our photographs so that we were able to enjoy every minute of our big day. They listened to the bride – and to the groom! They knew how to interact with us and our guests to make everyone feel comfortable and my bride and I feel special. They joined us at our rehearsal so they could get a feel for the Church and they knew our reception venue inside and out. It is so clear that to Joe and Mary, photography is not just a job, but a passion.
Within about a month after our wedding day, Joe and Mary were ready with nearly 600 printed proofs that they pre-reviewed for us and DVDs containing hundreds of additional photos. Their artistry is truly unmatched as our photographs are not just beautiful, they are phenomenal. Joseph and his wife Mary were an absolute pleasure to work with. My Husband and I planned this wedding in 5 weeks and also had a serious death in the family within that 5 weeks. The understanding and sincere concern from my photographers was unlike anything I have seen from someone who was a stranger to us at one point. Joseph and Mary were extremely flexible with us (we were also planning a NY wedding from out of state), they were very responsive via email, phone, and text. These are two people who cross their T's and dot their I's to ensure that your wedding goes as smooth as possible! A huge benefit of the husband/wife team was that our "second shooter" is included at no charge (try to beat that!) The Mancuso's arrived early for the wedding day, and were very patient with me running late and my crazy family! Once you meet this team, you see the passion they have for photography. I read a lot of their reviews and everyone seems to say the same thing- they are in the business because they love the art. Joseph and Mary were extremely easy to work with, they really know what they are doing. The packages that they offer are also amazing. We were on a very tight budget for a very formal LI affair (Church, reception) and I honestly think they have the best pricing in NY! The Mancuso's were also very familiar with our venue, Stewart Manor Country Club, and it was easy to see they carried an excellent reputation with SMCC. Even our Maitre'd used them for her son's wedding. Our proof album arrived within 4 weeks of the event- personally delivered and reviewed with us. My dad was in shock that it came so fast (he heard many horror stories). Our proof album was beautifully done, and actually received more photos than expected. I have received so many compliments on the album, as it was highly circulated with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. I would highly recommend The Mancuso's to ANYONE who needs a photographer. We are happy to recommend Joseph Mancuso photography for any special event. We hired them for our wedding day and were beyond satisfied with their quality of work and professionalism. When we first met with Joe and Mary they took a lot time listening to what we wanted in order to ensure they took the best images possible. The day of the wedding they were so helpful guiding us and helped calm everyone's nerves with their upbeat personalities. I was impressed by the number of shots they were able to take while also not being intrusive during our special moments and they clearly cared about doing their best. Everyone who is planning or has planned a wedding knows that one of the many stresses that come with it, is the desire to match your vision to the professional you decide to hire. We were fortunate to find that match when we met Joe and Mary . They were professional, they were friendly, they were knowledgeable, they were experienced, they were flexible, they were punctual ,they were personable , they were reasonably priced and they delivered an excellent product.
From the beginning, they were prompt in responding to email and phone calls in a timely manner, and as mentioned before, for someone who is planning a wedding, that is a biggie.
We got our prints in a timely manner and were kept informed about it and the customer service continued throughout the entire process. They delivered great photos and the quality was superb.
The only negative aspect is the fact that I do not have a special affair in the near future so I can hire Joe and Mary again.
Excellent service, excellent results, highly recommended. -

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had using Joseph and Mary Mancuso to photograph our wedding day. They were so pleasant to deal with, even from the initial contact. They were able to capture all the amazing moments of our special day, all while creating a relaxing and fun atmosphere among our bridal party and family. They took the time to learn the names of all the members of our bridal party and immediate family and made everyone feel special and welcome. Throughout the entire evening, they were professional and unobtrusive. The guests all mentioned how nice and personable they were. Having two photographers throughout the night, they were able to capture moments that I didn't even remember! Following the wedding, they presented all of our proofs in a professional and timely manor, making it easy for us to view and share our photos. This was in addition to a CD of all of our proofs which we have been able to print on our own. It is clear that photography is their passion and it shows in their beautiful work. My wife and I had initially found Mancuso Photography on Yelp, and after doing a little more research we located them here on Wedding Wire. We had contacted 2 or 3 other photographers that just didn't feel connected and/or what we were looking for overall. Joseph and Mary are two genuine people that truly care about their trade and treat your event as if it was their own. Their overall attention to detail was exact, the ease of dealing with Joe and Mary was seamless, and of course their quality of work was far beyond what my wife or I could have asked or wished for.
As well and this should be noted, dealing with Joe and Mary was precise and punctual, our 2 or 3 appointments were exactly on time and very well organized, when they said they'd be at my house to shoot at 3pm they were at our door at 2:55 ready to go, they gave us a full, true ten hours of quality service from start to finish. As well everything was on time as promised and the proofs look amazing and a nice disc with all the High Res proofs as well (no watermarks)!!!
Overall genuine honest people who truly care about your day and a pleasure to work with.

We received more photos than promised (all great quality) exactly when they said we could expect them (about two weeks after the wedding). Their prices beat all other photographers and you would never know they are affordable based on how beautiful their work is. Definitely a top-notch team! My husband and I were honored to have such a professional couple handle the most important photos we will ever take. Not only did the photos come out great, but they also went above and beyond and found a beautiful place to take outdoor photos even though it was snowing on my wedding day. They also did a great job getting all of my nieces and nephews under the age of 10 to smile and pose for the pictures! We were very impressed by their excellent communication as well as responsiveness all throughout. Words cannot express how extremely fortunate and thrilled we were to have Joe and Mary capture our special day! They instantly made us us feel like family and went above and beyond their duties in order to capture each precious moment of our wedding. Despite the weather (a freak snowstorm in October that forced us to change our plans for outdoor shots), they completely put us at ease and immediately guided us through an alternative plan indoors that produced the most beautiful and breathtaking photos! They were even gracious enough to offer a "second chance" photo shoot in response to the snow! The dedication, talent, and professionalism that this team has is undeniable!
