Hiring Joe will be the best decision you make when planning your wedding! He is not only an incredibly talented photographer, he is also an uncommonly warm person. My husband hates having his photograph taken, but with Joe, he felt very comfortable during a heavily photographed event. The photographs from our wedding are beautiful with golden tones and an artistic slant. Stop looking and call him. -

Joe was a dream to work with! Our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely stunning. Joe was able to capture Evan and my personalities and all of our wedding details ...frozen in pictures that we will have for a lifetime! Every one of our guests can not stop talking about our beautiful album and everyone wants a copy of the pictures! -

When I was looking for a photographer to document our wedding, the most important thing to me was that the photos that were taken would be able to transport me back to that day and I would be able to remember what it felt like in each moment captured. I wanted the day documented with all the smiles, tears, and moments that I knew would be hard to remember once the day had passed. Joseph Laurin's photography does just that. I cannot recommend Joe and his team enough! Our photos are absolutely gorgeous, incredibly unique and truly capture the emotions, warmth and happiness of the day. Joe is able to infuse the joie de vivre in each photo he takes. He is a true artist and I am forever grateful to him for these memories captured. Joe and his team are incredibly committed, professional and truly just nice to be around on a day that is so intimate and special. He is the best and a must book!!!! -

Working in the wedding industry I have worked with numerous wedding photographers, with that being said-I called dibs on Joe for my wedding five years in advance.
There is talent and then there is Joe. There is a way he captures the light and moody tones of your surroundings that make his photos so captivating. He has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable and engage in effortless conversation and laughter. My husband is not someone who wanted to have his photo taken at all. Once he met Joe he immediately relaxed and they became fast friends. Joe has a way of becoming friends with just about anyone which adds to why we love him so much.
We will forever cherish the beautiful moments Joe has captured for us and look forward to creating more in the future.
If you are looking for someone who is a true artist, does the research, and takes the time to capture the best possible photos, don't hesitate and book him! -

Joe and Jen are not only insanely talented but hilarious and fun. Their photos will make you feel like you're on the cover of a wedding magazine and you'll find yourself laughing every step of the way. This duo has an amazing eye for light, angles, and poses that make you feel comfortable and look amazing. They are truly the best and I full heartedly recommend them to any bride. -

He captures memories and emotions like no other! He is also just a real pleasure to work with. He captured everything I could've wanted and more on our wedding day without making my husband and I pose for hours and miss our wedding day festivities. Couldn't speak more highly of Joe. He is just the greatest.

Keri Sent on 12/30/2017Joe is a rockstar. Joe and Jen were absolutely incredible. From the very beginning of our wedding day, Joe and Jen made us both comfortable and at ease. Jen was so amazing she drove home the day of our wedding to sew my husbands dress pants! Now if that doesn’t scream rockstar I don’t know what does. They turned our vision into a reality and our photos are absolutely breathtaking. From the very start of our relationship with Joe at our initial meeting, we knew he waa exactly what we wanted out of a photographer. He was personable, friendly, funny, talented, and just a badass. He is beyond talented and his work is beautiful. He really takes the opportunity to get to know you as a couple and put in the effort to build the relationship with you so on the day of your wedding he isn’t just some stranger. He felt like he was part of the Marnane/Jeannetti clan! I would recommend Joseph Laurin Photography to everyone.

Joe is so incredibly talented. He is able to capture the raw emotion of the day and the photos are so stunning. On top of that, he has the best personality. My husband and I are not natural in front of a camera and he made us look and feel like professionals. His energy makes the day fun, light, and stress-free. His commentary and jokes makes you feel normal and care-free in front of the camera. I cannot not recommend Joe enough for his photography skills (which are unmatched) but also his personality and demeanor of someone you want around you on your wedding day! -

User2565731 Sent on 03/31/2016There probably isn’t a review yet written which would give Joe his proper due. We too find ourself at a loss for words to describe how amazing he is, which shouldn’t surprise anyone, since his work literally leaves you speechless.
Within a few clicks of the mouse on Joe’s site, you’ll quickly realize that you’ve found someone special. His personality and eye for the perfect shot, at the perfect time, is something that comes through on every single photo. His teammate Jenny could best be described as his professional soulmate. They’ve known each other for so long, you often find them finishing each other’s sentences and knowing where the other is heading before the next shot, without even speaking.
When you’re going through the wedding planning process, there’s an infinite amount of decisions you’re trying to get right. The best decision we ever made was working with Joe. From the minute we sat down with him at a quaint café in RI, we were immediately introduced to his outgoing, energetic, edgy, and eccentric personality. He has an innate ability to make you feel comfortable, equally energetic, and pushes you to let loose and have fun. He became more of a friend, more a part of our wedding party, than our photographer. The highest compliment we could pay Joe is that he’d be the kind of guy you’d want to hang out with, not just work with. In simpler terms, he’s just an awesome guy.
It’s hard to put a rating on greatness. But, chances are you’re doing your research and looking for some sort of quantitative way to judge his work. In lieu of that, we’ll give you some advice. Working with Joe was hands down the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. We honestly consider him a friend. If we are fortunate, he’ll be kind enough to work with us to capture our future life events. So the advice? It’s simple, if you are looking for greatness, call Joe. If you’re looking for anything but, he’s not for you.
