Joseph and Erika were way beyond amazing! They were incredibly easy and fun to work with on music. I was worried about how we were choose songs and how hard it would be, but they have an app that is very helpful and fun to use, and you get to pick out all your music right on there for the whole night! We didn’t end up choosing most of our dance floor music and just told them what types we liked, and they ABSOLUTELY nailed the dance floor music! It was hard to find a time to go to the bathroom because every song was too perfect! All our guest said how great they were and how much fun the music was! They are also incredibly talented and our live songs were so beautifully done. I cannot recommend these two more! They truly made our night so special with their beautiful music! -

I cannot recommend Joseph and Erika enough. I had Joseph, Erika and their sax player. All three of them were outstanding. The sax player was electric and brought so much energy to the dance floor. I’m so glad I went with them, they were easy to work with, took their time listening and accommodating any of my requests and were just a blast. Highly recommend.

Joseph and Erika truly MADE our wedding. Music was one of my big things to nail for the day and I am SO GLAD I found and chose these two.
It is hard to express how exceptional they are for wedding music. They were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish - my dream was always both live music and DJ combo and they absolutely ROCKED both. Their ceremony music brought tears, cocktail music brought vibes, and late night music brought the party! They are both incredibly talented musicians but also very special DJs - not to mention incredibly kind and organized people to work with!
I also had some unique requests - no cheesy 'wedding music', some rap weaved in, and one of my bridesmaids (also a musician) got up to sing the first dance and an acoustic singalong with them - they excelled with all of my asks and I couldn't have dreamed of better. Joseph even grabbed the harmonica at one point! And let me just tell you Erika's voice is OUT of this world. My guests are still raving about them and their talent - I am and always will, too!
As an aside, I've been to so many weddings with microphone issues during vows and the sound systems and microphone settings were also super on point. It's a small detail but a great one to trust to get right!
They are worth EVERY PENNY and then some!! Do yourself a huge favor and book them. THANK YOU Joseph & Erika for blessing our day with your talent! -

Joseph & Erika were not only so incredibly talented but a complete pleasure to work with! They were our musical group for a wedding reception in Boston we hosted as a cocktail party after having our micro wedding a few weeks prior. Throughout the planning phase they were helpful, professional and organized. At the event, they brought such great energy and really played off of the crowed - all of our guests raved about them. We would highly recommend! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Joseph and Erika! Our guests are still telling us it was the best wedding they have ever attended, and that was largely due to them!
From start to finish, they were incredible:
- Brought the party: The dance floor was full all night, and the energy never dropped. Erika is the BEST DJ + the acoustic sing-a-longs were a highlight of the whole weekend.
- Easy to work with: Communication was smooth, and they accommodated our requests effortlessly. The app and final call made sure everything went swimmingly.
- Beautiful ceremony music: The timing and song choices were perfect for every moment. And they provide mics for your ceremony + speeches!
- Cocktail hour highlight: The acoustic set during cocktail hour created such a warm, joyful atmosphere.
If you want your wedding to feel magical and unforgettable, Joseph & Erika are the way to go. We are forever grateful for the memories they helped create.

Joseph & Erika performed at our wedding and it was perfect. We had a small wedding of about 35 people on a lake and they were the perfect vibe for the night. In addition to DJing and performing live music for dancing during our reception, they also did a "sing along" portion to end the night which was amazing! They truly exceeded our expectations and made our night extra special! -

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding where Joseph & Erika were the entertainment, and I was completely blown away! They had the crowd going hard all night, and the versatility of having a DJ along a live performance in one package cannot be understated. They add a vibrant and classy touch at the same time! I heard compliments about their chemistry and vibe all night long. The dancefloor will definitely be packed if you have them at your wedding! -

Joseph and Erika played our recent wedding at the Hampshire House in Beacon Hill and we could not have asked for better music entertainment! The communication leading up to the event was perfect and they did an incredible job understanding and meeting all of our requests and even had suggestions for things that made the event even more exactly what we wanted. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this duo! From the acoustic music during our ceremony to the live set at cocktail hour and DJing our reception, they made every moment unforgettable! Having our wedding at a private family owned venue meant we had a lot of unique needs, and they handled everything with care and professionalism. Everything we asked for was met with enthusiasm and 0 resistance, they made every idea we had work! Their online form was incredibly user-friendly, guiding us through every detail and making the planning process a breeze- a planners DREAM!
One of the highlights of the night was our surprise grand entrance on a tractor, which took so much coordination and precise timing—and they nailed it perfectly! Every transition felt seamless, and there was never a quiet moment, as they ensured the music flowed continuously from start to finish. They were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. We would recommend them 100% to anyone looking for a talented, thoughtful, FUN, and all-around amazing band/DJ. this duo is the BEST of both worlds. Their live entertainment element was incredible, especially as our daughter walked down the aisle. Their music during dinner was the perfect compliment to an amazing venue with phenomenal food. And, at the end of the evening, a private dance for our daughter and her new husband while Joseph sang was the perfect ending to an incredible day.

Erika and Joseph crushed at our wedding. Our venue was 4 hours from Boston and from the beginning they were super easy to work with to book the lodging and they charged a reasonable rate for the travel. Their laid back but detailed and responsive attitude was reassuring throughout the planning process.
We went with the full band package (7 members) and every band member was talented. They were able to seamlessly transition from just the two of them performing during the ceremony and cocktail hour, to a short DJ set, to the full band dance party for 2+ hours at the end of the reception. There wasn’t a single song during the night that felt out of place. They were also open to our ideas for the setlist and truly worked to meet our taste in music (I know that some DJs/Bands are less open to input) but at the end of the day, we trusted them as professionals.
A week before our night, we decided that we wanted the father of the bride to sing with the band to start the father/daughter dance. While some bands may have balked at this idea, E&J were enthusiastic/encouraging and did a wonderful job playing the back-up singers for the father. My sense is that they are open to absolutely any ideas that you might have for making your night unique.
We are biased, but Erika was the best MC that we’ve seen at a wedding. MC’s at other weddings have reminded me of a sweet 16 or bar mitzvah but Erika was pure class. They are simply cool people with incredible talent and they enhanced our wedding greatly without overshadowing all of the nights special moments. After the reception, we invited them to the after party just to hang and were honored that they stopped by for a drink.
Our guests are still raving about this band and even guests that don’t usually dance were on the floor all night. If you are on the fence about booking them, do yourself a favor and go for it!!! -

Joseph + Erika are the best!
Joseph + Erika are fantastic. If you are lucky enough, and have a chance to book them, do it!
We booked them for our July 2023 wedding and couldn’t have been more impressed. They are professional, responsive, knowledgeable and extremely talented.
Leading up to the event, we had multiple calls and exchanged countless emails. They answered every question immediately with expertise and great suggestions.
For our wedding they performed the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Each was in a different location at the venue so Joseph + Erika set up three zones and lead the events so guests transitioned seamlessly between each zone.
The music was as fantastic. They learned three songs for us just weeks before the wedding and made a point to play them when we were both around to hear them. In planning, when we asked to switch up our Intros and first dance to have them outdoors, they pivoted and offered advice to make it happen! Our dance floor was packed ALL night. We even did live sing alongs to end the night. Joseph and Erika encouraged just the right amount of crowd involvement and we all had a blast!
The music and mc for your wedding can make or break the feel, transitions and total vibe. Joseph & Erika made our wedding classy, romantic and so much fun! -

Joseph and Erika brought the perfect vibe to our day during the wedding ceremony and reception. The ability to have both live music and DJ was the exact balance we wanted, and man did they bring it!
Joseph played to welcome our guests to the ceremony while Erika sang for the processional. They let us choose songs we wanted live for special moments like the dances with our parents, and set the tone for later in the evening by DJ’ing after the guests enjoyed the bar.
They do some live gigs if you want to check them out, but I actually hired them before I had even heard them live. After checking them out at a bar one night before the wedding it got me even more jazzed about them! They have a natural chemistry that won’t disappoint and they are worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. -

I struggled with where to start on hiring entertainment for my wedding. I wanted some acoustic music during the first part of my wedding, and then DJ/dancing for the rest. I did a quick search on WeddingWire and was thrilled to find that Joseph and Erika did both! Joseph was amazing at following-up with me and made the process of hiring them very easy! They were extremely organized and I didn't have to stress about them needing any hand holding on the day of the wedding. The acoustic singing was amazing, even learning new songs for me, and the DJ portion was so much fun. Would absolutely recommend hiring them for you wedding! You won't regret it! Thank you for making my day so magical and special!! -

Best vocals and SO MUCH FUN
Joseph and Erika are the best of the best! They were one of the biggest hits at our wedding. They were awesome to work with from the very beginning, staying organized and in sync. They made preparing the entertainment INCREDIBLY easy. On our wedding day Joseph played acoustic guitar beautifully as guests were entertaining and parties were walking down the aisle. Both Joseph and Erika played for cocktail hour, and guests could not stop talking about their sound and talent. And Erika completely crushed it DJ’ing during the reception - truly an experience my husband and I will never forget. We have had several people ask for their information, since they were incredible! We cannot recommend Joseph and Erika enough, we cannot wait for the next opportunity to see them again! -

We are so incredibly happy and thankful to have had Joseph and Erika as our wedding band. Not only are their talent and expertise unmatched, but they were incredibly accommodating. They were our first pick for bands, so we were beyond excited when we were able to book them. Our wedding was in Nantucket on LDW (no small feat), and they went to great lengths to book affordable travel and make the trip on such a busy weekend (also, amidst their other LDW events/engagements). When it came to planning, we had some unique asks and they went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. For starters, they learned all of our first dance songs (bride/groom, mother/son, father/daughter), and even personalized them with little tweaks we wanted to make. Week of our wedding, when I had the ridiculous request for them to send me a rough recording of our first dance song so we could practice since their version would be different from the original, they didn’t even hesitate. We freaked out when we heard it because it was even better than the original! Already assuming it was too much to ask, we also threw out the possibility of them learning one additional, special song the week of the wedding for the ceremony processional, and to our surprise they, yet again, didn’t even hesitate to accommodate. Their song list is extensive and exhaustive, so the fact that they were willing to learn four additional songs (that they probably won’t ever be asked to play again because they were unique to us) says a lot about how talented and how much Joseph and Erika care. Speaking of their song list, whatever mood/vibe you’re going for, it’s on there. We marked some songs we loved and others we could do without and discussed the ambience we were trying to create, and Joseph and Erika absolutely nailed it. Honestly, they made the whole event. Our guests were in awe of them, and they kept the energy and vibes high. As if they hadn’t already exceeded expectations, after our wedding they offered to cut a professional studio recording of our first dance song. They ended up giving us two high-quality mixed/mastered mp3s of our first dance song; one was the full song and one was the version we had them personalize and abridge for the dance itself. We’ll cherish them forever. I can’t recommend Joseph and Erika highly enough. They are top of our referral list for anyone planning a wedding or event, and we hope to find another excuse to book them in the future! -

If great musicians are important to you, if you don’t want a cookie cutter band with the same playlist at every event, if you want your friends and guest to have the BEST time - Joseph and Erika are the greatest. They can do anything. Their vibe overall is cool and they were a joy to work with. Super stress free. They listened to everything we wanted from music for the celebration - namely that we wanted a music vibe that was in-line for our taste and music - as if we made a playlist - but better. They killed it on execution - for everything especially our special songs which they learned in just a couple weeks. Their covers were as good or better than the studio recordings. AND their energy! During dinner they were so chill and played an acoustic selection that was cool and romantic at a volume that made conversation easy. After the cake was cut they got people on their feet. After dessert they FULL SENT IT. Teenagers to Babyboomers were all on the dance floor, singing along. They completely captivated our guests and a point their performance reached the likeness of a concert. What a day! Such a night! Joseph and Erika made it a PARTY! -

Joseph + Erika were incredible and we feel so lucky to have found them!! They were one of the best parts of our wedding. So talented, super nice, very willing to do silly things when asked, and great at reading the room. They truly did it all! Perfect dinner/cocktail hour vibes with slower power ballads and then great transition to DJing for dancing! We were so happy to have had them at our wedding!!
