We were originally not planning on getting a videographer for our wedding. However, I came across Jose on Instagram and was immediately drawn to his work. It was so easy to communicate with him, and he responds very quickly. His organization made everything so easy the day of. We received our video back pretty quickly after our wedding. The video came out better than we could have imagined. It took us right back to that day, and he was able to capture all those important moments and emotions. We are proud to show our video to all our friends and family. Could not recommend him enough! -

We hired Jose to do pictures and a video from our August 2025 wedding. Everything was so smooth and seamless from our engagement photos in the spring to planning the wedding day timeline. Jose and his videographer gave us the absolute best wedding day experience. Both were incredibly hard working, always had a vision in their heads and most importantly for us, a whole lot of fun! Jose does a fantastic job of breaking the awkward barrier of being photographed, leaving the entire session/day feeling easy and natural. Jose was very knowledgeable about our venture, too (Mansion on Main Street) which helped all of us out so much. Truly, we could not be any happier with our experience using Jose Ybarra Photography for our big day. The end results (photos/video) were absolutely breath taking and so enjoyable to rewatch/view for the rest of our days.

Absolutely stunning video & photos
Where do we even start? Jose and his team were incredible from start to finish. His work speaks for himself but day of Jose and his team were so kind and welcoming. Not only were they able to capture such raw emotion, but they were able to do so while remaining in the background. Many of our guests were saying “how did they even capture that?” And “I didn’t even see them!”
The team went above and beyond the day of to ensure we were taken care of, we got all the pictures we wanted, and ensured everything was captured accurately.
Quickly after we received our social media videos, photo preview, and wedding video which were UNREAL. Our family literally calls the video a movie production. From inspiration to reality, Jose and team made it happen and the work is INCREDIBLE. We would absolutely recommend Jose and his entire team to ANYONE who wants stunning pictures. -

We met Jose at the beginning of our two-year engagement during our engagement photoshoot, and from that moment, we knew we had made the right choice for our big day. We discovered him through our venue’s Instagram (The Mansion) because every photo we loved was taken by him!
From the start, he made us feel incredibly comfortable. His work is truly timeless, and he takes the time to capture every shot while keeping everything on a seamless schedule.
On our wedding day, Jose, Ashlyn, and Vittor made us feel like movie stars! They were so fun to work with, perfectly captured our vision, and even provided tons of emotional support. More than just talented photographers, they were kind, positive, and genuinely wonderful to be around.

Our wedding was on March 24, 2024, at Rock Island Lake Club. We started with our engagement session and we both can get camera shy, but Jose made it so fun and easy to get comfortable in front of the camera! He was so patient with us and really listened to us and our inspirational pics. We got all our photos back super quick which was awesome since I really needed to send out our Save the Dates.
Moving forward to the wedding, Jose was very easy to contact with a quick text and was so knowledgeable about everything! I felt so confident going into the wedding day. On the wedding day, Jose & his videographer showed up early and excited! As we were getting ready, he did all his detail shots and I could tell from just looking at how they were setting up they were going to be beautiful! I had a box aside with everything he would need for those photos. We had plenty of time to take all the photos plus more!! Our venue said we had one of the largest albums she has seen in a long time! I loved how he would stop and pause us to get a shot because the lighting was perfect. It really showed how he cares about the details.
We got all of our photos and videos back super quick - now we did get married in an off-season so that probably contributed to the quick turnaround. (but I was so thankful!) They were all so beautiful, the reception photos made us laugh and the video made the whole family SOB way too much! the passion in his editing work is OUTSTANDING!!! I catch myself watching it multiple times a month.
I can't recommend Jose enough and if you are lucky to secure him you will be in amazing hands! (it was very difficult to only upload 20 photos to show off his amazing work!) -

Where do I begin? My husband and I were initially skeptical about the wedding industry, feeling it was full of dishonest people. That was until we found JOSE and the other vendors we ended up booking, including our wedding venue, Rock Island Lake Club. Within five minutes of our initial consultation, we felt comfortable and confident in Jose's ability to capture our wedding photos.
Jose is kind, easy-going, and flexible, which made our wedding planning less stressful. On the day of our wedding, Jose and his videographer arrived earlier than expected and got straight to work. Throughout the night, he captured all of my photo wishes!
Not even two weeks after our wedding, he sent us our sneak peek photos, and they were amazing! His prices are unbeatable for the quality he produces. I would hire Jose again for any future needs (no, not another wedding!). -

Amazing experience with JY!
Jose Ybarra is an excellent photographer! We had so much fun working with Jose during our pre-wedding photoshoot. He went along with all of our crazy ideas and was extremely patient with us. His communication, professionalism and creativity drew us to choose him for our wedding. On our wedding day, Jose made sure we were the center of attention; he made sure he had all the shots we wanted and even had trendy ideas for our bridal party.

Our engagement & wedding photos are nothing short of an absolute dream. From the start, Jose was responsive, personable, and professional. For our engagement shoot Jose drove all the way into NYC in the freezing cold and did anything and everything to make our pictures perfect! Fast forward to the wedding, Jose helped us not only plan to get all the pictures we want but helped us schedule our entire day hour by hour. His experience, skill, and time devoted to my husband and I is something we will never forget. I did so much research and Jose is an affordable photographer/ videographer who actually cares, so you should without a doubt stop your search here. People compliment my pictures all the time and I can truthfully say there was not one single photo from my engagement/ wedding thats I do not LOVE. -

Freaking amazinggggg!
I swear to god if y’all ain’t hiring them them something’s wrong with y’all. They are fucking amazing! I was so pleased with every single picture! At first I was hesitant because I didn’t see any brown weddings on their profile and we didn’t get a chance to do engagement shoots so they were nice enough to post pone it into an anniversary shoot. Let me tell you they did a great job! They understood the kissing/ no kissing aspect of it. Jose and Victor were super friendly, funny, beyond chill! I’m telling you guys they are great! The video has made me cry sooooo many times. It’s actually hilarious how it gets me each and every time. They picked the music and all and it was spectacular!! -

Best. Decision. Ever.
Jose Ybarra Photography leaves me speechless every single time I look at my wedding photos. He truly is a gifted artist when it comes to photography. His energy and personality is magnetic and is extremely talented. His years of expertise was apparent when the weather was awful on my wedding day and you couldn’t even tell from the photos and his ability to still capture photos and the love my husband and I have for each other. My husband and I had an interfaith wedding and Jose went above and beyond to be respectful and did not disturb any of the ceremony yet captured jaw-dropping photos.
His pricing is extremely fair for the magic he creates. He is truly so kind-hearted and has such empathy for his clients.
He brought such a good energy that even guests of the wedding approached me about how great my photographer seemed and wanted to know more. Definitely will be using his services in the future and recommending to everyone I know! -

An Awesome Experience
Jose and his team were truly wonderful to work with.
Our initial call with Jose when we were still looking for a photographer and videographer was extremely organized and professional. Jose described his style, how he handles the day of the wedding and answered every question that we had. Deciding to go with Jose, was one of the best decisions we made. From our engagement shoot where we first officially met him to the wedding he kept the atmosphere light, funny, and truly captured all the important moments in between. His easy going personality, accompanied by the skill he possess with the camera made for such a pleasant experience. He stayed in constant communication with us and was always happy to jump on a phone call when needed. When we needed him to come a little early to start morning pictures, he did not hesitate and made every effort to make sure our day went perfectly. Jose capture every moment perfectly. And to top it all off, the turn around time from when our wedding was over to when we received our pictures and videos was so quick! We loved both!

Jose Ybarra was great to work with start to finish! My wife and I chose the Full Package and he delivered! The team of photographers and videographers showed up early, were a lot of fun to work with and stayed til the very end. Even though we had to move our ceremony inside due to a little stormy weather, that didn’t stop Jose and the team from capturing our amazing outdoor footage in between downpours. Beyond Amazing!
Jose was beyond amazing on our Wedding day! About a month before the big day, Jose began coordinating what the days schedule would look like, photo locations, venue locations and everything in between to help capture our day. He spent all day with us from the time we were getting ready til the end of the night. He was professional, yet casual and kind with a great eye to the surroundings. Our photos were taken at Liberty State Park and he took advantage of all the views and photo locations where we were. Throughout the reception he was attentive and was able to take many photos of our guests and everyone having fun. We are beyond speechless with how the photos came out. Jose and his team were exceptional! I was a COVID bride, who like everyone else had to adjust and postpone. Thankfully, Jose was understanding, responsive and flexible. He made us feel comfortable and heard. We had an engagement shoot, our intimate wedding on our original date, and our reception. Jose captured all of these memories. He truly loves and prides himself on his work. I cannot pick just one favorite picture! He ensured we'd have memories for a lifetime. I 100% recommend Jose. We have memories we hope to share with our future children and grandchildren. Memories I wish I had of my grandparents. Jose was our photographer for our wedding day and I'm so glad he was. He spent the entire day with us and and made the trip down to south jersey to be part of our special day!! The day itself went by so fast and there was a lot going on but I felt he captured our wedding perfectly!! He was extremely professional, calm, courteous and innovative in the ways he photographed. Jose and Chris were a great team! They made the afternoon so much fun by incorporating their humor and expertise together! My bridesmaids all loved them! Jose did an incredible job making me feel special and capturing my elation on my wedding day. Jose and Chris have a great eye for lighting, positioning, and dramatic photos. He took some great night shots of us by the firepits at the venue. In addition to his innate talent, Jose and Chris were both extremely helpful when my dress would not bustle. Both Jose and Chris were quick to help me with this. They were also very attentive to me by extending a hand if I needed to take a step down and for helping fix my dress for pictures. As for the groomsmen, they had a great time with Jose and Chris! They kept things relaxed and entertaining for them.
As for communication, Jose was very receptive to questions I had. He was very professional in regards to wanting to set up a phone call to go over the schedule together to ensure that we had everything planned that we wanted.
At the end of the night, my husband and I took a picture with Jose and Chris because we had such an enjoyable experience. Jose and Chris truly know how to make the day a stress-free and full of laughter. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional that is attentive to detail, great with communication, receptive to feedback, and 100% dedicated to making a wedding experience unforgettable.

Jose is very professional and very responsive.
My husband and I selected the signature package contemplating a guest count of 250 people. However, due to COVID, we had 170 guests total. Jose was able to have an assistant who was able to help capture additional pictures. I think that maybe 2 photographers would be best for larger parties. Also, Jose was able to touch up some of the photos to our preference - he fixed the color of the bridesmaids dresses (they looked teal but were actually royal blue) and he removed the coffee cups in the background of our getting ready photos.
Chris, the videographer, was also great at capturing great staged and candid moments during the ceremony and reception. Very professional.
Overall, the quality of the photos and video were amazing and were available very quickly! Photos arrived in about 2 weeks and the video arrived in about 4 weeks. I would hire Jose and his team if they did other events.

We met Jose through a mutual friend and I am so happy that we did! He has been absolutely amazing from the start. His personality combined with his great sense of humor makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I felt like a natural! Jose and his team on the day of my wedding were phenomenal and my whole bridal party loved them. Jose even captured most of the pictures I requested, which was very impressive. He also had the photos sent to me within one week!! The turnover time was great especially since I was an impatient bride lol. Overall his photos are beautiful and I would highly recommend him. -

Amazing Photgrapher
Jose and his team were nothing short of amazing for my wedding on 2/27/21. From the start he worked with me to create a custom package (wedding day photography and videography, drone footage, wedding album) that fit my budget. As we got closer to the big day he helped me plan what pictures were important to me and what styles I was going for. The day of he showed up on time with ample amount of supplies and additional hands to help ensure he was able to capture every moment of the day. In only 8 short days (yes u read that correct 8 days!) after my wedding I had access to my FULL gallery to view over 1,600 edited photos! The process he has to view photos and download them is easy and efficient. I will forever treasure all the special moments he was able to capture of our wedding day. If I had to do it all over again I would chose to hire Jose and his team without hesitation. -

I have to say that from beginning to end Jose was so wonderful to work with. He listened to all of my needs and wants, made sure that everything was taken care of, provided me we all the material to make sure that all my check boxes were checked. Phenomenal Job !!
One of the best decisions my husband and I did was to contract Jose Ybarra and his team to do the video and photography for our wedding. From the beginning, Jose has been extremely helpful, flexible, and understanding. The best thing about working with Jose and his team was that they remained calm, composed, and professional throughout the entire hectic day that is a wedding, which helped us feel very relaxed. We want to give a special thank you to his team Tiffany (photographer) and Chris (videographer) for working so amazingly together and making us laugh throughout the entire day. I hired Jose about a week before my actual wedding. He was flexible and willing to work with our budget and ended up being one of our best decisions. Jose and his team have surpassed my expectations. A destination wedding can be scary because most planning is done blind folded. While everything was new and unknown for both myself and Jose’s team, they handled everything so smoothly. They are also very talented and it just doesn’t get better than that! There are not enough adjectives to accurately describe how incredible Jose and his team are. They work seamlessly together and are ready for anything the event may throw at them. Jose and his team photographed and videoed our wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
