Jose was amazing! Not only is he a fantastic photographer, but he is extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. He made sure we got the best photos possible and worked hard to get them to us quicker than usual, which was greatly appreciated. His photography and editing style are both amazing and the photos turned out beyond beautiful. We are so so happy and will definitely connect with Jose when we are in Belize again. 10/10, would highly recommend!!! -

The best memories to celebrate our 20th anniversary
I found Jose’s profile on Facebook and instantly fell in love with his vision, art and attention to capture the most beautiful images. I knew I wanted him to capture my husband and I’s 20th wedding anniversary with our kids on the beautiful island of San Pedro, Belize. He was so helpful to help me navigate this day from the US in every way, such as transportation to the ‘sandbar’ and timing out photos perfectly with weather and sunset. Jose was always attentive to my messages and questions. He was excited to try new things also, which we are so grateful for. We 100% recommend Jose and thank him so much for making this milestone perfect! -

Once we decided to get married in Belize, I knew we had to have Jose as our photographer and he and his wife did an AMAZING job! They were responsive, and captured our small wedding so beautifully, going above and beyond by creating a highlight video for us and making sure to get all the shots I had wanted. It did take awhile to get our photos back, but they were so worth the wait! We had so many amazing shots to choose from -- my favorite were actually the candids -- captured the vibe of the day so well. Forever thankful that we have these memories! -

Jose Luis was simply amazing! My husband and I eloped to Belize from Massachusetts in April, and I am just beyond impressed by how incredible Jose Luis was in every way. First, he is incredibly kind and professional and his positive attitude added so much to our special day. Second, Jose Luis is an excellent communicator - he replied to every email very promptly and answered any and all questions that we had. Lastly (and most important of all), our pictures are also absolutely stunning! My husband and I could not be more pleased with how they turned out - they exceeded all of our expectations. Jose Luis was able to not only capture the visually stunning scenery, lighting, etc., but also our unadulterated joy in every photo. I cannot recommend Jose Luis enough - he is incredible! -

Jose and his wife were very friendly and easy to work with. They moved around the wedding and reception smoothly and got some great shots. Being from the island he was very knowledgable about timing and golden hour and the best spots to shoot at. From scheduling to getting the final gallery, everything was perfect. Jose was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive to all of my questions/requests/changes. We had rain the day of our wedding which required us to push the time back. He was very flexible and accommodating. Jose is kind and friendly, an absolute pleasure to work with. He asked several times if there were any more shots we wanted. I could not wait to see the photos. I asked for a sneak peek & he quickly edited a photo and sent it to me. Turn around time was quite reasonable. And the photos were OMGEEEE AMAZING! Jose was super easy to work with and made the whole process go with ease. He had a phone call with me ahead of time and was able to answer all of my questions. I had a pinterest board outlined ahead of time and he went right down the list. After seeing the video footage from the day, I am in awe that Jose captured the precise and intimate moments that he did. I will forever be grateful for choosing him to document our special day! -

Our epic plans for our oceanfront Belize wedding got derailed quite a bit from the outskirts of a hurricane. Our wedding planner at Signature Belize Weddings and Events pulled off a miracle and helped salvage the day. But our photographer team, Jose Luis and his wife Perlita were truly amazing. They arrived in the storms and got some great "getting ready pictures for us"... and went back and forth in the rain between the 2 condos to get pics of the Guys getting ready/ hanging out too. They managed to capture a couple cool shots of the ceremony and reception set up so we at least know how beautiful everything would've looked. And they were SO sweet, accommodating, and flexible with the schedule. They even stayed longer because of the storms to make sure we got all the photos we wanted once the rain stopped. I can't wait to see the finished photos... I know they'll be stunning! Thank you again Jose Luis and Perlita! 💜

A Cool Head in the Face of Chaos!
Working with Jose was wonderful. The weather kind of threw our day for a bit of a loop and changed a lot of our plans and time tables and Jose just rolled with it, helping us as the couple stay on task throughout the day and still getting amazing shots despite the chaos of changing a lot of our timeline about as last minute as possible. I had been a bit nervous about the whole thing since I was planning our wedding from countries away, but I really couldn't have asked for a better photographer to help guide us through the day and to get us the wedding portraits of my dreams. Jose clearly knew his way around the resort and was able to utilize the setting in amazing ways for us. If you are getting married in Belize, especially San Pedro, Jose is your guy. -

We had a destination wedding in Belize at the Portofino Resort and needed a photographer. Jose and team was recommended by the resort and we could not have made a decision then taking their advice. Jose was prompt, efficient, super creative and just plain nice to work with. We did an evening with his team trashing our outfits on a small private beach during sunset and the images came out particularly stunning. We could not be happier with the results. -

Saved the Day
The photographer we had booked for our wedding had a family emergency and we found out 3 days prior to our wedding. Jose stepped up and said he would do the photos and they turned out amazing! So glad he came through for us! -
