We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jonathan & the Underground Studio team! From the moment they arrived on our wedding day, they made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera — which was such a gift on a day full of emotions and excitement. Their attention to detail and ability to tell our story through both photos and video was beyond impressive. Every image feels authentic and full of emotion — from the big moments to the little candid ones we didn’t even realize were happening.
Not only are they incredibly talented, but they’re also organized and professional. Their online gallery and website are easy to use and make it simple to share with guests and we were impressed with how quickly they got things back to us. We are so grateful for everything they did to help us relive our day over and over again.
Such an amazing team — we would recommend them a thousand times over! -

We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos and video from this team! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional — punctual, organized, and clearly knew what they were doing.
We got married at Secrets Bahia Mita, and they knew the resort super well which made the whole day feel seamless. They even communicated on the backend with our wedding coordinator - we didn't have to worry about them knowing the schedule at all.
The candid moments they captured are our absolute faves. You can feel they were trying to capture genuine emotion in every frame. That kind of eye only comes with real experience, and it shows.
The sneak peek reel came super fast and the full video exceeded our expectations. We barely gave any direction, but the end product was great.
If you're getting married at Secrets Bahia Mita (or anywhere, honestly), book this team. You will not regret it. -

We couldn't be happier we chose
Underground Studio for our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta! From the very start, Jonathan was very professional, quick to respond and thorough with answering any questions. Both Jonathan and Bruno did a wonderful job of understanding our vision and the photos and videos turned out incredible.
We got so many compliments from our friends and family! We received our photos and under two weeks and our video in just under two months. Although we had to pay an outside vendor fee to use their services at our resort, it was 100% worth it. I also shopped around in the beginning and found their services to be an incredible value, even with the outside fee.
We were even able to add a drone and Photo Booth and stay within budget. Truly could not recommend their services more if you are
looking for photography/video in Puerto Vallarta! -

10/10 would highly recommend to anyone looking for a photographer in Mexico. Jonathan was very professional and responded in a timely manner to all communications. The day of the wedding we had a couple ideas for pictures but we were pretty open to his professional eye and boy, he didn’t disappoint! We would highly recommend working with Jonathan and his team for your wedding! We had a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, and the process was so easy and quality of the pictures were fantastic! I found the package options and a la cart features to add super easy and convenient to build a plan that captures everything you want for the day. The team is super easy and fun to work with and have really creative ideas to capture the day perfectly! He also accommodated any special requests we had. All of our posed and candid shots of the day are great. 10/10 would work with again!! -

Words cannot express my gratitude for Underground Photography. I was a little nervous to hire vendors given we were planning a destination wedding and would not be able to meet them beforehand….but Jonathon immediately squashed my anxiety right from the get go. He was prompt with his emails, professional, and exuded confidence. He also helped guide me with MULTIPLE other things and gave me suggestions for things such as : local options for spray tan, makeup, and hairstyle recommendations, timing for events and lighting etc. After the wedding I received my photos and videos promptly and we are BEYOND happy with the results. The BEST photography team!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Underground Studios for my wedding, and I can't recommend them enough! From the very first meeting, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely excited about capturing our special day. On the wedding day, they blended into the background, making everyone feel comfortable while still capturing all the beautiful moments without getting in the way at all. The photos turned out stunning- every detail was perfectly captured, and the emotions of the day were beautifully reflected. If you're looking for a talented photographer who truly cares about their clients, look no further! I also want to mention how dedicated they all were even in the heat of Mexico. It was incredibly hot that day, and I could see them sweating (literally dripping), but they never stopped working hard (and physically running) to get the perfect shots.

Jonathan and Bruno are THE best
We’ve had a couple of professional photo sessions before, but never have we been this blown away by the results. Jonathan and Bruno… you two are absolutely the best!!!! The photos are beyond AMAZING. Even though we’re not exactly the most photogenic people, your incredible guidance with poses and perfect spot choices made us look SO good. Underground Studio- Jonathan and Claudia were amazing to have as our wedding photographers! They were great about blending in and ran around to get great shots. They provided some direction when needed, which is also great. They had photos ready for us within 2 weeks of the wedding! Prior to the wedding, they were very responsive to any communication and questions we had. They also checked in periodically to make sure they knew of any important changes to the big day. -

Words can’t possibly begin to describe how thankful we are for hiring Jonathan and Bruno from Underground Studio to shoot our wedding. Jonathan did everything he could to make sure we were calm and getting exactly what we wanted. From getting ready photos in the bridal suite, to our intimate first look, the ceremony (which included a few surprise drone shots!!!), our reception entrance, first dance and the rest of the reception, they were there for every important moment. I LOVED that Jonathan even thought to sneak us down to the beach for a few intimate photos just as the sun was setting while our guests were getting served dinner. He captured the beautiful pink/purple/blue sky behind us flawlessly while we were just glowing with happiness. It was truly the best day of our lives and Jonathan’s photos absolutely captured our joy! Worth every penny! I was also SO thankful we chose to have Jonathan stay until the end of the night to get our magical sparkler exit too. Absolutely magic! A Wedding Day Must Have Vendor!!
I booked Jonathan and his team for my destination wedding after seeing his work on Instagram. Throughout the planning process, he was timely in answering any questions and open to any changes or requests we had. Their work on the wedding day was even more perfect than I could have asked for. They were present to capture all the moments but it never felt like they were in your face or impeding any of the normal events of the day. As a couple who is rarely in front of the camera, I can confidently say they make the process so simple and comfortable. Their artistry is truly amazing! I choose this company based on the comparison of different photographer websites in Puerto Vallarta. I had a destination wedding December 2023. I appreciated tht the photos are not heavily edited. I was extremely pleased with how our photos and wedding video came out!! I had so many comment about how great they came out. Staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable! I was a bridezilla and wanted a lot of certain shots and they followed everything I wanted. -

Jonathan & Bruno were the PERFECT choice to capture our most special day. We got married at Secrets Bahia Mita in December 2023. I was so nervous about choosing a photographer because everyone kept warning me that this was a vendor you did NOT want to make a mistake on for your wedding.
They definitely did not disappoint! Jonathan was so flexible and responsive leading up to the day. He made sure to capture all of the memorable moments along with the beautiful scenery. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about the incredible photographs. It’s difficult to choose which ones to print because there are so many that I want to frame and fill our walls with!
Bruno did an AMAZING job with our wedding video. I have literally watched it at least twice a day, every day since we got it!
I 100% recommend this team for any special event. They will make sure to capture beautiful memories you will revisit for a lifetime! 🥰 -

My husband hired Underground Studio when he arranged for our engagement in Puerto Vallarta (PV) February 2022. The engagement photos were fantastic! Jonathan captured every moment as my husband got down on one knee.
We decided to get married in PV in May 2023, and we did not hesitate to choose Jonathan with Underground to capture our special day. We loved our wedding video and photos! We would book him again time and time again for any special occasion in PV!
The underground team is professional, committed and they were very quick to get us all our photos and videos back! Highly recommend them. -

We got married at a private villa in PV and I was planning most of it myself. I came across Underground and Jonathan when I was looking in Wedding Wire for a photographer recommendation. His photos were authentic, captured the moment, and he was genuinely a kind person to engage with. Booking internationally can be a bit daunting and anxiety provoking but Jonathan made it so easy to trust him and I knew he would be able to capture our day perfectly. Great price as well as I was on a bit of a tighter budget and he had flexible options and packages. -

Best photographers ever!
Jonathan and his team did a wonderful job shooting our wedding and welcome party in San Miguel de Allende! It was a really special day and I think the team really helped make it happen. The pictures and videos were AMAZING! Everybody we show has been blown away by them. Within moments of working with them I could tell they were going to do a great job and it really took a lot of stress off. They are professional, efficient, creative, and were able to give some good direction (we are super awkward so we needed it!). Going into it we didn't really know what kind of pictures we wanted, but they just took control and they were able to get some amazing pictures. Jonathan and Underground Studio did a wonderful job for our Puerto Vallarta destination wedding! I found Undersgroud Studio from watching Puerto Vallarta weddings on YouTube I loved the their signature whisper in the videos.
(Watch one and you'll see what I mean.) I reached out to them online. Jonathan promptly responded. Jonathan was was responsive to my emails, very clear with information and their photo services packages were very reasonably priced. Jonathan and Bruno were great to work with for shooting the pics. They even stayed extra time, since our wedding start time was delayed due to rain. My pictures came out beautiful! I'm so glad that we went with Underground Studio. We had such an amazing experience working with the Underground Studio team. They were super easy to work with and provided a lot of information before the day of so we felt very secure about the flow for the actual wedding day. On the day of they did their own thing as soon as they arrived ensuring they got wedding item photos and during the reception they ended up organizing a very smooth transition for what was a very complex shot with a hundred people needing to cooperate for a group picture then transition to a different angle to immediately catch photos of us with fireworks. They delivered our photos in a very timely matter. The meetings leading up to the wedding and the way hey provided instruction and offered different backdrops truly made the day less stressful. An overall amazing experience! Happy to have amazing photos of our special day. -

Amazing photographers🤩
This team of photographers worked so hard during my wedding, and gave me the most beautiful photos I could have imagined. They were very helpful and reliant. I did not have to worry about anything and I barely noticed they were there. I found these photographers on TikTok, and I would highly recommend to anyone getting married in Puerto Vallarta. We were nervous about finding a photography/videography team to capture out multicultural wedding at Hyatt Ziva. As an American/Indian couple we were concerned that we would not be able to find a team that could truly capture our full wedding weekend. We discussed this at length with Jonathan and he guaranteed his team would rise to the occasion. In a 30 hour period, we had 4 events (Garba/Hindu wedding/Christian wedding/ reception) and the team did a phenomenal job! The professionalism, the way they made everyone feel comfortable and the joy that they took in their work was evident all weekend. We asked them to dance with us at the end of the night and they showed out! Our wedding guests talked about how great they were and we couldn't agree more!
Then we received our photos and videos..... just wow! We are speechless! The quality, the attention to detail and the music is amazing. We have so many photos that we cannot wait to frame and enjoy for years to come. We highly recommend Jonathan and the team to anyone who wants their day captured in such a beautiful way! -

Jonathan and Bruno are the best duo group. They responded to all my questions in a timely manner. They were prompt on the day of the event. They were professional. Best of all, we were blown away with the results. Jonathan’s photos are stunning, we have a variety of photos with different scenery, outfits, and events, we got so many compliments on the photos. The film by Bruno is beyond spectacular. Because of our location, a drone was necessary. The drone footage was able to give the beautiful location the justice it deserves. Bruno did an amazing job editing the film. The film is short and doesn’t have any dull moments. He matched the music to the scenes. After the wedding, all we have left are memories and these films and photos. When our memories fade, we have these films and photos to remind us. We are so glad that we picked Underground Studios. Best money spent- love, love, love them!
I want to cry thinking how lucky we got to have found and booked Jonathan and his AMAZING TEAM. Literally looked forward to them at our wedding as much as our other guests. THE PICTURES ARE SPECTACULAR- it was windy, I was tired, and also had an allergic reaction to my makeup and YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL. The shots, the editing, the communication, the price, the dedication, the, professionalism- LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! Amazing and in love with the final product!
I did research and cam across Jonathan. I reached out and he was very responsive and even made time to meet us in puerto Vallarta a few months before the actual wedding. Very professional . We enjoyed our wedding so much that when we received the photos and the video we were amazed how much he captured. The video… omg the video… we fell in love with it and have received so many compliments. An Absolute Dream!
I honestly don't even know where to begin! Jonathan and his team were an absolute dream to work with! They went above and beyond our expectations and I haven't quit looking at our pictures and watching our video on repeat!
From day one they treated us like family and were so fun to work with! My husband and I aren't the biggest fans of having our pictures taken and honestly we're a little awkward and somehow Jonathan and his team worked their magic and made us look great!
We got our pictures and video back so quickly and they were more amazing than we could've ever imagined!

Every aspect of hiring Underground Studio was perfect from beginning to end. Jonathan was extremely responsive via email and offered to do voice calls as well which was nice since I was planning the wedding from the United States. Pricing was fantastic and I liked that they had different packages based on your needs/price range and also a la carte options. One of the draws to Underground Studios was the possibility for drone footage since I was getting married in the mountains. It turned out FANTASTIC. Bruno and Jonathan worked extremely hard and captured lots of candid as well as posed photos and videos. We got our photos back in 2 weeks and our video back in 3 or 4 weeks which from my research is much faster than most companies. Honestly, I had no cons with this Underground Studio at all and would recommend them to anyone!Jonathan Jallet Photography's reply:

Elopement / small wedding
I can’t speak highly enough about Jonathan! He did an absolutely amazing job capturing our small casual wedding. He was flexible and accommodating the day of and when I was worried we might have to shift our wedding by a day. He was very responsive every time I messaged him too. The pictures he took were beautiful!! Better than we could have imagined. He captured so many amazing candid moments which made the pictures look great and really natural- exactly what we wanted. He also helped facilite some posed shots that turned out great too. He made the whole event stress free, fun, and comfortable which is so important when taking professional pictures. Jonathan and his team are AMAZING! John is so great at constantly staying in touch with you throughout the process and responds to emails so quickly! As a destination bride, he took a LOT of stress off of my plate just by being readily available by email for any questions or concerns I had.
As for the actual wedding day John and his team seemlessly integrate themselves into your day like they're part of the family. Our grooms' party particularly had a fantastic time with them. They are with you for the entire day of the wedding and capture every moment so beautifully.
If you're on the fence about day after/"trash the dress" photos, I HIGHLY recommend just doing them! Honestly my favorite photos came from the day after/"trash the dress" session because we got such amazing pictures of us in the water in our wedding clothes, without the stress of the actual wedding day.
The other thing that blew me away was that John accidentally over charged me for the second half of the deposit. I would have never noticed as I was too busy with a million other things with the wedding but he caught the mistake himself, told me and immediately refunded me. It's sad that that kind of honesty is rare these days, but it made John stand out to me all the more.

Jonathan loves what he does
We loved that our wedding coordinator hired Jonathan for our wedding day. He was professional yet made us feel completely comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Our wedding was in Ursulo Galván, (north of PV) at the end of July and if you are not familiar with the weather there, it is hot and very humid during that time. The heat and the humidity did not stop Jonathan from capturing our special moments. Jonathan and Bruno work well together and we ended up with amazing pictures and video.

The very best hands down!
Our wedding day was very eventful due to a thunderstorm. Jonathan was able to capture all the beauty of that day even while it rained and we were handed the most memorable pictures and video. My husband and I are not the best at pictures and even through our awkwardness Jonathan guided us. It was the very best experience and highly recommend his services to everyone. Jonathan and Bruno were amazing! I reached out for an engagement photoshoot session about a week before I was arriving in Puerto Vallarta. They both arrived at where I was staying and we got started quickly. These two were climbing rocks, rolling in the sand to and sweaty immensely for the perfect shots of my fiancé and I. After the hour session, I knew the photos were going to be good, but when I got the pictures back I was taken away. They are so beautifully retouched and we received so many. I have already have family and friends reach out for his information. I will definitely be using Jonathan and the team for my wedding in Cancun! -

Jonathan photographed our small wedding (30 guests) in a Puerto Vallarta at Grand Venetian. He arrived early and was lovely to work with. I provided him a shot list beforehand and he captured every photo and more. All of our guests had family photos taken and love them too. He was able to work with different lighting from the bright sun to the dark sunset. I highly recommend Jonathan for your wedding. Hiring photographers for your wedding can be nerve wracking, at lease for me it was.
My husband and I live in America and decided to get married in Puerto Vallarta because we just fell in love with it. We found the perfect venue and we really wanted fantastic photographers to capture all of its beauty. Jonathan and Claudia couldn’t have done a better job at that. Their attention to detail, creativity, and hard work are truly amazing and did not go unnoticed. Our guests as well had nothing but compliments about their kind and fun personalities.
J + C showed up on time (even a little early for set up) which was appreciated. While my bridesmaids and I were rushing to get ready, Claudia took things into her own hands and found little things to photograph with little to no direction from me, purely using her imagination and creativity. The photos turned out beautifully and were exactly what I wanted without knowing it.
This was my first experience being photographed professionally and she made me feel calm and confident. My husband and his groomsmen said they had such a blast with Jonathan. He was kind, funny, and really blended well with the group.
There was one moment in particular during the reception dinner when my husband and I were exploring our venue and ended up on a balcony above everyone. Jonathan proceeded to jump up from his chair in the middle of eating, grabbed his camera and yelled “Wait! Stay right there, that’s beautiful!” These two went above and beyond the entire time. Their “eye” for the art of photography is unmatched and their passion for it really shows. They genuinely want the best for their clients, and will do anything to make it the best. Jonathan just did excellent job! I am glad we chose him as a fotografer for our wedding nearby Puerto Vallarta.
We were interested in his work, because he showed talent in capturing the moment, initially. His portfolio was full of feelings captured in beautiful friendly colors.
And so is he, a warm attentive person that follows you during the process :)
At the event, Jonathan and his team were 100% in. Although I had bad experience with a suplier and there were resceduled changes, I could rely on him: I have the most beautiful shoots from the best moments as memories.
Also, he showed initiative and helped me to organize a drone foto of the group throwing baloons to the sky, with no additional cost!

We are based in the UK and required a photographer to capture our intimate beach ceremony in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We chose Jonathan based on his style of photography. Jonathan was quick to answer emails and was very responsive. He was very professional on the day allowing us to do our own thing but directing us also. We both hate the camera but we were absolutely blown away with the images received. The photographs were delivered to my in box as promised within two weeks for us to download. If like us you want to find a local photographer and not use a hotel in-house one please book Jonathan, we cannot recommend him enough as it's very daunting booking from so far away but he did not disappoint in any way.
