  Jon is the best!

  If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Jon! We had a thrice-postponed covid wedding, and can't emphasize enough how comforting it was to have Jon on our team. After cancelling our 200-person wedding, we decided to elope and Jon was all in. We had several phone calls to discuss the plan and then Jon met us in the mountains with our 10 closest family members. He seamlessly became part of the family and was such a joy to have around. Jon was professional, creative, flexible, and exceeded all of our expectations. We are in LOVE with our wedding photos and recommend that anyone looking for a photographer hire Jon!

  Don't look any place else, HIRE JON!

  There are so many [great] photographers to consider in SLO County, however we wanted photos that would be timeless and not highly edited like the sepia tones and whimsical look that’s become popular. Jon’s photos were exactly what we were looking for, and we hired Jon to take our engagement photos (Spring 2018) and wedding photos (Fall 2019). BEST DECISION EVER!
  
  For our engagement shoot, Jon was extremely flexible and shot photos at two locations - the winery we got engaged at in SLO, and another location he suggested in Los Osos. We were so blown away (literally, it was the windiest afternoon ever!) by the photos Jon took during our engagement shoot, that we knew we absolutely made the right decision to hire him for our wedding as well!
  
  Jon perfectly captured our wedding day. It’s worth noting that our wedding ceremony and reception were in different locations, creating a little bit of a logistical challenge, however, Jon was extremely communicative and helpful in creating a photography timeline to ensure the day would go smoothly despite the multiple location changes. He didn’t miss a beat! All of the photos are amazing, so amazing that we’re even having a difficult time choosing which ones to print! Our family and friends we have shared photos with can’t get over how beautiful our photos are.
  
  I honestly could go on and on on why to hire Jon, but the best bonus is how awesome of a human being Jon is. His upbeat, fun, and easy going personality makes him so fun to be around therefore making it comfortable and fun being in front of the camera. Hire Jon, you absolutely won’t regret it!

  Jon is "fuego"! Best wedding photographer in SLO County!

  My wife and I almost hired a different photographer before discovering Jon. We're so glad we found him! Honestly, we can't imagine not hiring him because the photos he took perfectly captured our wedding day.
  
  So many photographers these days like the whimsical, faded-out photo style. This isn't us. We were looking for a photographer that doesn't over-edit, but embraces the colors in the photos and has more of a photojournalist's style. This is Jon to a T. He has an incredible eye and is so, so talented.
  
  What we didn't know when we hired Jon was how great of a person he is. Jon has a way of putting you at ease in front of the camera with a great sense of humor and a liberal use of the word "fuego"! Neither my wife or I have ever taken portraits like you do for engagement photos or your wedding. This was new to us, and Jon found a way to make us look good! He worked well in tandem with our videographer and has great relationships with wedding venue staffs and coordinators, too.
  
  He's also very quick with his editing. We had a "small" album of around 100 photos sent to us the morning after our wedding. We got the email from Jon while we were eating breakfast. This was so great to be able to share some photos with friends and family, and on social media, right away.
  
  I could go on and on about how highly I recommend Jon. He is organized and was helpful every step of the way. He was flexible and able to make changes on the fly. I'm certain there's not a better wedding photographer to work with in SLO County.
  
  Best advice I can give: Hire Jon!

  Let's get weird

  It was great working with Jon. He captured the moments that me and wife will forever cherish. He's easy and fun to work with. He'll take suggestions or just let him do what he does best or as he would often phrase, "let's get even weirder". Taking the sunset photos was a nice break and get away from the crowd and I can say that, that moment was probably one of the highlights of our wedding.

  It was great working with Jon. He captured the moments that me and wife will forever cherish. He's easy and fun to work with.   So worth every penny

  I’m so glad I hired Jonathan! He was so incredible and got so many beautiful and unique pictures. I’m a photographer myself so I knew I’d be very picky and he did not disappoint! He’s super creative and will go above and beyond to get those perfect shots. Also, he’s a really fun time.

  Artsy & fun!

  Working with Jon was so much fun (and his awesome wife, too, who "manned" our photo booth). We did not do an engagement session with him since we are out of towners, but he was easy to communicate with and on the day of, was quick to put us at ease with his goofy jokes and easy going demeanor. We can't wait to see the end result, but the journey was awesome. Even our guests commented on how fun our photographers were!

  Jon and his team were great! He took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. His photos are beautiful and he is very talented in finding the perfect lighting and background. It was a tough decision finding our photographer because we don't live in the area but Jon came highly recommended and we were not disappointed!!! All of our guests loved him too. He made everyone laugh throughout the event! He communicated with us prior to the wedding and made sure he knew exactly which photos were the must haves and what group pictures we wanted to take so that time was efficiently spent before and after the wedding. Thank you Jon!

  If you're reading this review, you are already winning because you found Jon Miller. You will not regret hiring him as your photographer. He is a kind, genuine guy who knows just when to be goofy enough to take out the awkwardness of having your photo taken.   My now-husband and I are two of the most un-photogenic people of all time - and either Jon has hundreds of photos of us with our eyes closed that we never saw - or, he is the absolute best photographer in the whole world. From the moment we met him, we knew he loved his job - and that love made us feel so at ease in front of the camera.   My husband and I say to this day that having Jonathan as our photographer was one of the best and easiest decisions that we made for our wedding. We loved him from the moment we met him for our engagement shoot. My husband felt awkward and wasn't keen on taking pictures but Jonathan made him feel comfortable and explained/showed him and our pictures came out great. He always responded to e-mails quickly and was available by phone to answer any last minute question to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Our family even commented how much they liked him. You won't regret having him as your photographer.

  If you're looking for a traditional photographer that is going to stick to an agenda and give you all the typical shots, you'll have to keep searching. Jonathan is creative and will deliver pieces of art and not just photos. He truly captures the perfect moments that really tell a story. He is very easy to work with and will make you feel comfortable even when you're not so comfortable in front of cameras! We really enjoyed having him and his wife as part of our wedding and highly recommend them for your special occasion.

  From the moment my daughter Kimberley, my son in law Josh and I met with Jonathan I knew we had found the perfect photographer for their wedding. He is so down to earth and his style is AMAZING! For their engagement shoot he took them to the Pismo Dunes and out to the venue in the Huasna Valley where the wedding would be. Those pictures were absolutely stunning and he got them to them super fast! The wedding was last weekend and he was awesome! Taking pictures of every detail and even taking them to the top of the ridge for sunset pictures. It has only been a week and he has already sent the kids some preview pictures. They are so beautiful I cannot wait to see the rest! Not only is his photography breathtaking but he is fun and so easy to be around. I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending him to anyone!

  Jonathan is such an amazing photographer! We had the pleasure of working with him for our engagement pictures and he did an amazing job. He is so easy to work with and makes you feel super comfortable the whole time. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable the whole time. He not only does an amazing job but he also got us the pictures fast so fast. The day after our shoot he emailed us 30 sneak peek pictures and then a little less then a week from the shoot he had the whole file for us to download. He did all that with his wife's due date 10 days away. We are so excited for him to capture our big day and can't wait to see what magic he makes! We will definitely be using him after the wedding. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

My wedding was two weeks ago on August 1, 2015 and I am so happy I had Jonathan and his assistant there to capture the day. I have seen a few pictures from the day and I can't wait to get them all back! Jonathan is so talented and has a special way of capturing such a special moment. After working with him for the engagement pictures I knew it would be ten times easier on the wedding day. He is so easy to get along with and has a way to make you laugh through out the day. Both my husband and I walked away from all of this feeling like he is more of a friend then a photographer because it was just that easy to work with him. I will be using Jonathan in the future for tons of different photo shoots!

  Jonathan David photographers shot our engagement photos and the whole experience was amazing. They stand above the rest of photograpgers because they really care to capture who you are and show people that through photos. They also love the work they do which makes the shoots much more enjoyable.   Jonathan David photographers shot our engagement photos and the whole experience was amazing. They stand above the rest of photograpgers because they really care to capture who you are and show people that through photos. They also love the work they do which makes the shoots much more enjoyable. We are very pleased with the photos we got and look forward to having Jonathan David photographers shoot our wedding in September. Highly recommend!

  My now-husband and myself do not consider ourselves to be very photogenic...but you wouldn't know it from our engagement and wedding photos! We did our engagement session in downtown SLO and Montana de Oro State Park. Jonathan took a mix of of traditional posed pics and some more artsy shots...they all came out great. The engagement pictures came out so good that I really felt comfortable and excited about taking pictures at our wedding. Our wedding was outdoors at the Dallidet Adobe and Gardens in downtown SLO. He captured the whole day from hair/make-up until the winding-down of the reception. The pictures from that day were perfect, and really reflected the loving, mellow nature of the wedding.
  
  We would work with Jonathan again in a heartbeat!

  Jon and his assistant were wonderful! They were everywhere taking pictures the entire day of our wedding. We love the albums he made for us from our engagement shoot as well as from our wedding day. It seems like we look at them everyday!! We felt honored to have him capture our special memories.
