Most definitely recommend!

We cannot imagine having any other photographer at our wedding… John is simply amazing! We got married on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls… Which of course involved John getting completely drenched
And having to work extra hard to protect his camera equipment. He was such a good sport about it, and we had an amazing time with him. He met us at our hotel lobby and begin our pictures there… Then took us to some beautiful locations that were not full of tourists, to get some wonderful pictures taken before we got on the boat. Living in Georgia, I found John through wedding wire… And he was so wonderful over the next several months, keeping in touch with me, giving me recommendations on where we might stay, eat dinner, etc.… We highly recommend John!

Amazing and love our photos

John Was amazing and took beautiful photos on our wedding day!! It was a late night for my daughter and she was miserable, and he still got beautiful photos of her. Very patient man and took everything we wanted and more!!!

Highly Recommended!!

John is absolutely amazing!! He makes you feel right at ease (especially when you’re already stressing over your big day), he’s wonderfully kind and completely considerate over your wants and needs!

He’s so adaptable to different last minute changes as well! Our wedding ceremony was supposed to be outdoors, but Mother Nature decided to be a little extra breezy that day, so we had to shift everything indoors. John was right there ready to go!

He’s also absolutely amazing with other vendors also! We had a videographer along with John and he was great at collaborating and making sure both of them were able to get what they both needed!

We can’t ever thank John enough for being a part of our special day with us!

If you are looking for an absolutely amazing photographer that does STUNNING work, makes you feel completely comfortable and is wonderfully kind (which I think that’s what we all look for, right?) John is most definitely your guy!!

Picture Perfect

We hired John as our wedding photographer and everything was perfect. John is a very kind person. From the first meeting we knew he was it! The pictures were absolutely stunning it was hard to limit it to 60 from literally 1,000 pictures. Our album is better than we could have ever imagined and his prices were extremely reasonable. We highly recommend John for your wedding!

Stress Free and Beautiful

After meeting John, I knew he would be a great fit for us. Although he’s actually a family friend, his work is absolutely breathtaking. Everyone loves our photos and my husband and I are very grateful to have such amazingly beautiful photos to remind us of our special day. It was so hard only being able to pick what seemed like so few out of hundreds of perfect photos for our final wedding album. I can truly relive our day over and over again by looking at all the wonderful moments John had captured. Very blessed to say the least.

Last minute-itis

When the plans for my daughter's surprise engagement shifted and we were left without a way to capture the moment, I panicked. We are 6 hours away from Niagara Falls, which is where the proposal was going to take place. I Googled "photographers in Niagara Falls" - and John answered my call. He agreed to take on this last minute project - less than 24 hours from the time of the proposal.
John was fantastic - super flexible, offering suggestions and advice, and was so patient with my personal anxiety and the multiple communications needed to make this work.
We were immediately able to preview several photos and cannot wait to see the rest - what we've seen already have been beautiful: high quality and great capturing of all of the wonderful moments during the proposal!
I'm so grateful that John took my call that evening and was willing and able to work with us!

We found John on Wedding Wire. He had excellent reviews so we decided to contact him to set up a consultation for our wedding photography. He showed us samples of his work and we were impressed. He also really provided a lot for the amount of money that he charges. We received his services all day on our wedding day, a cd with pictures from our wedding within two weeks after, a 5x7 parent album, five enlargement prints of our choice and wedding album of our own with the pictures printed right to the page! We have noticed through searching for a photographer that most only give you a copy of your photos on a cd and charge a lot of money for it. We wanted a photographer that actually printed the pictures for you/made an album. We are extremely happy with the end result. The pictures and the album are beautiful!

John provided the photography for my wife and I's wedding at the Buffalo Zoo. John came with great enthusiasm for the day but we barely noticed him being there. He is a photography ninja. We had some shots planned but he came up with some great ideas but the candid photos are the ones we treasure the most. I would recommend him to any and all folks looking for a great photographer and who are looking to get the most bag for their buck. His low key style really helped to take away the stress of the day as well.

Honestly we cannot say that there is a better photographer. Most importantly the photos are amazing but along with that came many other things. John was very professional and creative with 18 people in our wedding party. The only time we even sensed his presence was for posed shots. He came early and stayed late to include every shot we could want. We suggest asking for a few special shots and trust him to do his thing. You will not be disappointed. His eye and style are right on. The photos are nothing short of perfect and arrived in the mail the day we returned from our honeymoon, as he promised. If you are hiring a photographer, he is the best you will find so hire him before someone else does.

John worked with my Husband and I every step of the way. He met with us the day before and went over all the possible shooting locations. When it came to our big day we had no worries at all. He made it so easy to just be relaxed and enjoy our day. He was kind and prompt and the photos he took were so beautiful! We promptly received the USB drive in the mail with all of our photos. We also had a couple of prints included in our package, that were shipped out within 1 day of us choosing them and they arrived in ultra protective packaging. It was such a pleasure to work with such a great professional and talented photographer.

I had some ideas for photos but I needed a photographer that could bring my ideas to life- John was perfect. He is able to make quick decisions and turn any environment into a beautiful photograph. He not only has an eye for finding the best pictures, his personality is perfect for the job.

I planned my entire Niagara Falls wedding from almost three hours away, all by phone or online. When I talked to John for the first time he was so helpful, even helping me find a restaurant to go to after the wedding! The experience he provided was great, and the pictures turned out incredible. I definitely made the right choice by picking John as my wedding photographer.

John was great to work with. I have worked with photographers in the past and noticed how they can be very controling on what they want. John was nothing like that at all. He listens to what you are looking for and gives suggestions. John is professional, passionate, and is very easy to work with. He is someone you can trust to do quality photo's and if you ever have any questions or need something from him, he will get back to you within 24 hours. He made our wedding pictures an enjoyable moment for us and the albums look amazing he did. We would recommend John to anyone we know.

We worked with John as a photographer when I was in a friend's wedding. I remember John being very professional and great to work with. We booked with John because of our past experience with him, but also his great value and expertise! He was the most reasonable photographer with excellent work. The pictures he took were beautiful, and he was open to our suggestions as well. John was very prompt with our photos too...we received our CDs in the mail while we were still on our honeymoon! I just picked up my photo album today and it is outstanding! I am so glad we decided on the hard page book. Excellent photographer with excellent work and an excellent value. We would recommend John to anyone looking for a photographer!

John Lagomaggiore was a wonderful photographer. He was very accommodating to my husband and I while preparing for the wedding. He was on time, took wonderful pictures, interactive, creative, and helpful. After the wedding, he was quick with editing and sending photos. He helps me create a beautiful photo album. The prices for John's service was one of the best in the area. I would certainly use John again for another event.

My husband and I were very pleased with John’s attention to detail. He took several pictures before the during the ceremony which were absolutely beautiful. When we began to look for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted someone who would capture special, candid moments between us and our guests.
John was referred to us by a friend, and when I went on his website, I knew I wanted him to take the pictures at our wedding...His photos have heart and soul.. all while capturing the beauty of the indoor and outdoor surroundings.
We met with John before and after our wedding and found him to be very down to earth and friendly, as well as extremely accommodating. He took so many wonderful pictures, we struggled with making our final selections for the album. John met with us and helped us select the best photos, and created an album, that was very beautiful and more than I ever hoped for!

Better than we could have ever wished for!
John was the most amazing wedding photographer. We have been to several weddings, and been members of several wedding parties, and have never seen a photographer do such a wonderful job. John was very professional, and had several great ideas for poses and places to take photos. We were extremely happy with the finished product also. The posed photos as well as the candid shots were fantastic. In addition to the wedding day, John was great with communication and planning leading up to the wedding. We also received our photos extremely fast after the wedding! Once we picked the prints we wanted, we had our enlargements and our album within days of informing John of our choices. I would recommend John to family, friends, and anyone who is looking for a photographer who is truly an artist and a professional. The value was also amazing. For the service we got, from the planning, through the ceremony, to receiving the finished product (prints and album), we could have paid double and still felt like we got a good deal! A good photographer is key to a wedding, as the photos are what keep the memories alive for years after the actual wedding day. As a destination bride, I was extremely nervous about selecting the best photographer. Photography was #1 on my list of importance besides my dress. I found John Lagomaggiore through the internet in searching for a wedding photographer. I was impressed at his background in journalism photography and the beautiful photographs on his website. At first I was hesitant to choose him because I was not sure if he would be good at taking both portraits (which I love) and photojournalistic spontaneous shots. In emailing him and speaking to him on the phone he was prompt, extremely professional, and emailed me more photographs of weddings he had photographed. I also shopped around and looked at 5 other photographers in the area, and he by far had the best photographs in the Niagara Falls area and had a reasonable price. It seemed a little too good to be true, however, after emailing him back and forth for months I decided to booked him and emailed him on and off with questions before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, he was on time, very professional, easy to work with, captured all of the important moments during the ceremony, took us to some spectacular areas near the falls to take photos after the ceremony and took wonderful photos during the reception. Before he left at the end of the night he came to me to make sure that there was nothing else I wanted him to capture before he left. All of my photographs were gorgeous and I ended up purchasing an album, enlargements, and extra photographs from him. I would highly recommend him. He made the small church look amazing in the photos. He also provided me with the photographs, albums, and enlargements in a very timely manner so that I could have them to show everyone back home who could not attend the wedding. I could not have asked for anything more and am so glad that I selected him to be my photographer. Even if I had paid double I know that I would not have had better results.

when i was looking for a wedding photographer online for an out of state wedding, i was very impressed with john lagomaggiore's photos. he had an extensive collection of photos that were very detailed and told great stories from his world travels. his wedding pictures are more relaxed and also more beautiful than the typical wedding photographer. our ceremony was on the maid of the mist, and he had already done one wedding on the boat under the falls. He was really excited to photograph a second maid of the mist wedding.

we originally did not want a professional photographer at all. our main concern is that we did not want the photographer to ruin the fun and spontaneity of the day. john was able to set a few points where we got all of the portraits that we wanted, but for the rest of the wedding, he blended well. the outcome was great. we loved the fact that he mailed us 2 disks with all of our photos within a week. (a lot of people wait a year before getting their photos).
