JoeDeeJay went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. We lost count of how many guests came up to us and told us how much they loved the DJ at our wedding.
Joe was the perfect balance of professional and party. He helped keep everything moving smoothly, was very organized, and went out of his way to make the day as stress free as possible. He kept everyone on the dance floor with his stellar playlist and seamlessly worked in song requests.

Are you looking for someone to ensure your guests have an experience they will never forget during your big day? JoeDeeJay knows how to deliver.
Before the wedding day was even here he worked with us diligently to ensure that our wedding experience was top-notch. There was never a time that I was concerned about his quality of service or professionalism. He was always 100% on top of things and even asked questions that showed me he was even one step ahead of anything I may need.
First, he did the sound for our wedding ceremony. He worked with our live music vendor, officiant, and us to ensure that guests would be able to hear the music, vows, and officiant during an outdoor ceremony. So many people approached me after the ceremony talking about how clear our vows were, even those way in the back! That wouldn't have been possible without Joe's efforts.
Upon arriving at the ceremony, Joe greeted us with enthusiasm and went over everyone's names one more time to make sure they were pronounced correctly and in the right order. As he announced each person he even added some hype to get them excited. He even got my five-year-old son to dance by himself on the dance floor upon entering. His energy was contagious.
During the reception, he had a fantastic mix of the music we asked for and what our guests requested while keeping it appropriate for the environment of people around. The dance floor was full all night! He even helped spur an impromptu dance-off.
All in all, it was a fantastic night and I was so happy to have JoeDeeJay be a part of it. I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone who asks. He gave beyond five-star service!

I honestly could not have imagined things going more smoothly on our wedding day. Joe met all our needs and more. He not only provided us with awesome lighting, great music, and entertained the guests but he ALSO acted some what of a coordinator for the day. Our wedding
Joe was wonderful for our wedding! Not only was our DJ for the evening but he also served as our emcee and kept our event moving smoothly! Even when my grandpa decided to make an unplanned speech in the middle of dinner, Joe rushed over to give him a microphone so everyone could hear his speech. Highly recommend Joe DeeJay! We really appreciated all his pre-wedding prep: his questionnaire took care of many ceremony logistics, and he walked us through other ideas/questions on a meet 'n greet call. On the day of, he was all setup without any work on our side, our officiant loved how helpful he was, he helped us stay on schedule (grand entrance, cake cutting, dancing), AND many of our guests told us he did a great job keeping up the energy of the night.

Joe was an AMAZING DJ that we used for both our ceremony music and reception. He did a fantastic job provided what was needed for the ceremony, knowing exact cues and using the exact music we wanted. For the reception he kept it so much fun and got everyone dancing and was able to change things up or go with the flow so easily if we needed to switch something around. Joe was very responsive and on top of things from day 1. He offered many additional services that we were interested in at a very fair price - uplighting, dancing on a cloud... He also offered a bunch of equipment and sound system to help with audio. Joe was great DJ-ing and MC-ing our event. He even got up from the booth to show us some line dancing moves! Joseph is by far one of the best DJs I have met. He was super kind and personable and made our day very special. He was very organized and also very flexible. We found Joe by chance and we were really happy we did! He was really flexible and responsive while working with us both months ahead of our wedding and the day of. There were some elements that changed the day of and he rolled with the punches incredibly well and smoothly coordinated with our other vendors for the components they arranged. During dancing he did a great job balancing slow and fast songs, working in requests, and helping to energize the crowd. Would definitely recommend him for your wedding!

Searching for a DJ was stressful because to be honest, the music can make or break the reception — especially if you want to party, which we did!! Joe was exactly what we were looking for! The ceremony went great and we had feel good music during cocktail hour and when it was time to dance, we danced! He took suggestions on the spot and played all of our “must haves!” — we had a huge group of college friends / mid 20s and always had people out on the dance floor. Joe made our wedding so personal and helped it run smoothly. He was responsive to all emails and very professional while also being approachable. I could not have asked for a better DJ. He helped us with hiccups throughout the night and kept the dance floor full!

Amazing experience.
Joe was amazing and very responsive. He was always quick to respond to any emails and met with us on zoom to talk about the upcoming big day. He also listened to us when we said we didn't want to many lights and set up the perfect amount for what we wanted. He kept people on the floor. I had one groomsmen who was sweating through his suit because he said he would "take a break when a non-banger came on" and he never took a break. He was responsive to our requests and even helped us find a special song dear to our heart that wasn't through his music subscription service. Great time and definitely recommend!

Wonderful DJ!
Joe was such an amazing DJ for our wedding, and so easy to work with! I had gotten his information from a friend who used him and had the same great experience. We used him for both the ceremony and reception, which I highly recommend! He walked us through all the different aspects of the event, and did a great job as MC with announcements/etc. He worked great with out day of coordinator to make sure everything was good to go on the day of, and the event ran perfectly! I would definitely recommend Joe if you are getting married in the Lansing/GR area!

Simply Amazing.
Joe is simply amazing. He made our wedding fun and engaging! He created his own LED board/screen, LED mask, DJ setup, and more. He balanced the audio in the venue perfectly, and mic'd us up perfectly at our ceremony. He coordinated with our vendors and kept things moving at a comfortable pace, and was very situationally aware. This guy knows what he's doing and he's one hell of a nice guy as well. My wife and I will certainly be contacting him for his services in the future when we host other events. His prices are fantastic and so is his setup!

Joe was so great for our wedding reception! We didn't have many specific song requests so we left the music choices pretty much up to Joe and he did not disappoint. He knew how to get/keep guests on the dance floor and he played a great variety so all guests could enjoy. He also had a really fun photobooth set up that we, and our guests, loved! Joe was so flexible and accommodating when we had to change up our wedding plans and move everything from an indoor venue to an outdoor space. We would definitely recommend Joe to any couple looking for a fun wedding reception!

Helpful, interactive, lively DJ
Joe was such a great DJ! He showed up on time helped my family set up a projector that we never told him about. He was super flexible with moving up and down the stairs of our barn and making sure everyone knew what was going on. COVID made our wedding different and we had to have people in two different spaces but he made sure their were speakers everywhere so no matter where you, were you were also apart of our big day. He played music off of the playlist I made as well as took requests from our crazy families. He even did a fun dance with all the guys at our wedding and kept the party going! I highly recommend Joe to be the DJ at your wedding. He has a great price and goes above and beyond to make sure your day is going smoothly!

Joe was fantastic! He was able to fit in our requested artists and songs at perfect times, and he definitely kept the energy high and the crowd on the dance floor. Not only did he preform wonderfully as a DJ, but he helped with tasks that someone wouldn't typically expect a DJ to bother with.
Joe was very easy to communicate with as well. He was quick with response times and helped keep our conversations detail oriented. He was also very eager to share his specialty services with us, including the custom monogram lighting which we took advantage of. With a starting price of $500 we were more than happy to add the monogram lighting and additional time as needed because of the affordability. At the end of the day we believe that Joe was the perfect man for the job. We loved everything about him and everything he was able to provide us during our big day. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family in the future!

You will regret not hiring Joe!
My partner and I first ran into Joe at the wedding of our good friends. The dance floor was never empty, there were no harsh music transitions leaving guests with whiplash and clearing out the dancefloor and every single guest absolutely adored the playlist. We knew we needed him for our wedding and booked him immediately. We had a two-level venue and very specific song requests, he did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He is amazing, do not miss out for your wedding.

Our service couldn't have been better. He met with us prior to our reception and made sure he had a full understanding of what we wanted. On the day of the event, our venue manager informed him that dinner would be a little late. He worked with my parents to fill the time appropriately. We had an amazing experience and our guest loved the music. Very flexible with our event schedule and super friendly. Very impressed and will be referring anyone who needs a dj to him!

He got back to me right away. Answered all questions I had, he was very professional, right on cue, great with the kids interacted with the guests. (Even showed us how to do the Macarena) I know I chose the right DJ when some of my guests made incquires about him for their events. I will defiantly be using him again in the future. He really made my wedding special.

This was the best money spent! Joe went above and beyond to accommodate our every want and kept the rest of the vendors informed throughout the day. Best DJ ever!!

Joe did an amazing job with his dj services! Very easy to get ahold of, met up before the wedding to go over everything, & did an excellent job announcing & playing songs on our big day!! Would highly recommend!

Joe was amazing and was definitely the right DJ for our event! He will work with you to make sure you get everything you want as far as sound, lighting, special effects, even a karaoke setup! His system is the best there is with customized equipment, and lighting, and amazing sound quality. He also went above and beyond assisting us setting up a TV based slideshow of our wedding pics we had on a CD. He kept our guest entertained and engaged and many said it was the best Dj'd party they had ever been to. I would definitely recommend Joe for any event needing an excellent DJ, or even just a customized sound or light setup. Talking to him at our event, I learned he even has an outdoor movie theater setup available!
