Joe and Alec were so great! Joe kept the dance floor moving and good time going! He was very helpful with any questions we had leading up to the big day.
Alec was great with the photobooth and it was a hit with our guests and we love looking back at all the strips from the night. Highly recommend. They were fun and professional! -

Joe Stephen and Standing Ovation did an amazing job at my wedding last weekend. It was easy to communicate with him on our needs and he listened to what we had to say. He played all the songs we requested and then some. I would recommended him to anyone planning a wedding in the area. -

Rochelle Sent on 05/03/2016We had met with and hired Joe as our wedding DJ. Unfortunately, the day of our wedding, he was ill and unable to make it. However, he had gotten ahold of me early in the day and assured me that he was sending a replacement and that there would be no issues. Karl was our DJ for the evening and everything was great! He played soft music before the ceremony and during cocktail hour. He also played a nice mix during the reception so that people of all ages could get out and dance and have a great time! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to hire DJ! -

There was music for all ages that everyone enjoyed. He did an amazing job of keeping the dance floor full and announcing each of the events! -

Not happy with the DJ we ended up. Out of all the vendors we hired, Joe was the hardest to get a hold of. We found out about three months before the wedding that we weren’t going to be able to do the cold sparks and the dancing on the cloud effect, both of which we already paid for. When I contacted Joe about possibly getting a refund, he offered to talk to the venue to see if he could change their mind. Any time I would try to reach out for an update he just wouldn’t respond or kept telling me he would get to it soon. It wasn’t until about two weeks before the wedding we finally got an answer. We were able to do the dancing on the cloud effect but no cold sparks which we were still charged for.
Another thing we added on was blue up lighting, which ended up looking like only two out of the four walls were done. Not sure if not enough lights were used, just looked poorly done.
One last thing that annoyed me was the speakers used for the ceremony. I had a good friend sing me and the bridal party down the aisle but instead of hearing her I kept on hearing static from the equipment.
Any advice I could give to brides planning their day, if you don’t mind having a DJ that makes it difficult getting a hold of and who charges you for add ons you don’t get to use then this is your guy. If you do mind, then I recommend keep looking.
