Look no further
If you are looking for a great photographer to make you feel comfortable on your wedding day and provide breathtaking photos...look no further. Joe and Tina are a one of a kind husband and wife team. From the moment we met them we felt like friends which helped us to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and that really showed in our photos. Joe provided a complimentary engagement photoshoot which was a great opportunity to talk about the look we wanted and practice some poses for the big day. We booked Joe about 2 years out and he was great at communication through the whole process. He was quick at responding to emails and helped us establish our day of time line which was so helpful when communicating with other vendors. On the day of they were so organized making sure we had gotten every photo we wanted and suggested amazing photos we had not even thought about. Joe captured portraits of the bride, groom, bridal party and family which turned out beautifully! In addition to portraits, Joe captured the personality of the day and our guests. When we (very promptly) got our gallery back, I could feel every emotion of the day all over again through the images. He also did a great job of capturing the details I had spent a lot of timing planning and putting together, which was so special to look back and see. We could not be happier with our choice of photographers, Joe and Tina are simply the best! -

They say that a good photographer can make or break your wedding day experience, and we couldn't agree more. We simply can't say enough great things about Joe and Tina! Back in 2019, we were so thrilled to book them. From our initial consultation, you could tell they had a lot of experience and were super professional yet personable. We were doubly thrilled with our engagement session - we weren't sure what to expect, but they walked us through everything and made us (and even our dog!) feel comfortable in front of the camera - the final shots we received were phenomenal. We couldn't wait to work with them on our wedding day the following summer... but then COVID hit. Joe worked with us through 3 (yes 3!) wedding reschedules and was super accommodating, making the process as painless as possible. When we were finally able to have our big day, their knowledge and expertise were indispensable. They helped us plan out our day-of schedule to make sure we had enough time to do (and capture) everything that we wanted, and kept us on track while still keeping everything light and fun. Our wedding had a little bit of everything - a church ceremony, multiple photo locations, a sparkler exit, and fireworks - and Joe and Tina took everything in stride, capturing every little detail of the day. We got our photos back this week and we absolutely love them! It's hard to pick just one favorite, and we know we'll cherish these photos and the memories they represent for the rest of our lives. While planning my wedding, one of the first things I wanted to check off my list was finding a photographer. I was overwhelmed by the amount of options for photographers in the WNY area, then a family member recommended I look at Joe Lewis Photography. After looking through his portfolio, I knew instantly that I wanted him to be a part of our day. If you are looking for bright, timeless, and beautiful wedding photography, Joe Lewis is the obvious choice. He and his wife Tina made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we met them. From our engagement session, to meeting prior to the wedding, to the wedding day, Joe was always extremely professional, organized, and responsive. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a joy it was to have him, Tina, and his second photographer Jerry as part of our wedding day. Our wedding photos are perfect and we have gotten countless compliments on how well they turned out. We will cherish them forever. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Tina and Joe. Joe & Tina were awesome to work with from the very beginning. As soon as I emailed him for a consultation I heard back within the hour. He made us feel comfortable and knew exactly what we wanted. He was able to answer all of our questions and we left there excited to go with him for our wedding. When it came time for the engagement session he worked with our schedule and even checked the events going on downtown, because that's where we wanted them done. He constantly kept in touch with us leading up to the wedding and made sure he captured every photo we wanted. They also made sure that we were right on time for keeping things on track throughout the night. We loved every single photo we got and will cherish them forever! Thank you Joe & Tina for making the experience one to remember and keeping it relaxing for us on the most important day of our lives! -

More than we could have expected!
Dan and I cannot say enough good things about Joe and Tina. They were professional and easy to trust with our wedding photos, but also relatable and easy going, making us feel comfortable on our wedding day. Joe was so easy to communicate with and responded promptly, especially while planning our engagement shoot on a less than ideal weather day in Buffalo. Our wedding day was perfectly captured in the many photos that were taken and my husband and I enjoy looking back often to relive our special day. I would absolutely recommend Joe Lewis Photography to other couples in the area, and already have! You will not regret spending a little extra on photos that will help you to relive your special union for many years to come!

He provided top notch service, was extremely professional, and was personable and kind. He really gets to know his clients, and listens to you, which can be seen in the quality of his pictures. Joe is very flexible, follows your lead, but provides guidance when needed. He gave us suggestions on good locations to take pictures, guided us through poses, and made sure to capture all of my “must have” photos. He spent the entire day with us on our wedding day and captured EVERY important moment. Joe makes you feel like you are the most important person from the beginning to the end of the wedding process. His pictures turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and I look forward to reliving the most magical day of my life each time I look at my pictures!

Laura Sent on 08/26/2018Joe makes you feel comfortable from day 1. Our guests continue to comment on his amazing shots of our day and tell us our photographer is great. Something we both agree on whole hearted. We don't just have photographs we have a story in pictures that we can look back on during our life together. Joe and Tina are a great team together. When you attend other weddings you notice the photographers getting shots. Joe blends in to the background and you settle in and enjoy yourself more. Choosing one photo of Joe's as your favorite shot of the day is difficult as we love each and eveyr shot he took. You can rest assured that everything you want captured of your day with Joe will be. He makes sure of it. Because Joe takes candid photos you get to have a little more fun and creative capturing something that is unique to your day that you can look back and laugh about. We also chose to include Andy as the second photographer and are so glad that we did. My husband said he was great and you can see that in the fun shots he took of the groomsman. When you Choose Joe you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for capturing everything in a truly special way that we can enjoy for years to come!

Tatum Sent on 02/15/2018Joe photographed our winter wedding at Niagara Falls in New York and did an excellent job! We are so very happy with our photos. I know he is talented and really knows what he is doing, because taking photos in the haze and glare of snow is difficult, but he did it with ease. Our pictures are way better than I could have imagined. I rarely like photos of myself, but I am excited to share these and show off our destination wedding. He helped us pick a great location and get everyone to the right place - even in a snowstorm. He was helpful, professional and creative with different scenery possibilities. His wife went along to help, and she was friendly and made the process even easier! If you're thinking of hiring anyone from the Niagara Falls or Buffalo, NY area, hire Joe. You will look amazing and you'll have photos you want to share with everyone for years to come!

Marc Sent on 12/02/2017The experience we had with Joe for both our engagement and wedding photos was beyond enjoyable. Joe is a seriously gifted photographer with a keen eye for beautiful scenery and how to get the best shots out of his subjects. His photos are not overdone like others with heavy photo editing software, he keeps them naturally lit and simple which is the way photos should be. We had our engagement photo shoot on a somewhat cold day with rain coming in sideways. Joe was more than willing to stay out as long as it took to get the shots we were truly happy with. He found some beautiful locations in the park that made for some really nice photos. On our wedding day, Joe kept our shoot fun and relaxing which is what we needed on our big day. They showed up ready to go prior to my bride arriving. We ended up doing the first look photos. These photos were really unique and I wouldn't change a thing about the way we did it, Joe was able to capture all of our first expressions and each little moment when we saw each other. We also ended up going to a movie theater for our party shots and Joe created some of the most unique setups for photos that were nothing short of amazing. After the ceremony, we had some time to get our photos on the grounds of the venue, Joe found some awesome spots along the creek and captured some really amazing photos with the natural sun shining through. Throughout the day, Joe went around and got close-up and far away shots of all the little details we put into everything. He didn't miss a thing so its really nice to have professional photos of all the work that we invested into the decor. Joe got some very funny and memorable photos during the reception as well and we're so glad he did because we were so busy throughout the day that we probably wouldn't have remembered those moments had we not had those pictures. We highly recommend hiring Joe for your next event if you're looking for A+ photos, you really won't regret it!

When I met with Joe and his wife Tina for a consultation, I knew I had hit the jackpot. They were an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end. Joe was always super responsive to emails and so accommodating with my busy schedule. We had to reschedule our engagement shoot a few times, and he was always very flexible and understanding. His prices are unbeatable and he offers an "a la carte" type of menu that you can custom build to best suit your needs. We chose to add on a second shooter (Andy) and I am so, so happy we made that decision. Not only did we get stunning photos from Joe, the photos Andy took far exceeded any and all of our expectations. As someone who doesn't really like having photos taken, I have to say that Joe and Tina make you feel very comfortable and natural in front of the camera. They caught so many beautiful moments and it was their top priority to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Our photo gallery absolutely blew us away, and you get your photos on a cute monogrammed thumb drive :) Working with Joe and his team was everything we had hoped for (and more). Brides, I 100% recommend Joe Lewis Photography- you won't be disappointed. -

Gail Sent on 11/12/2014Joe Lewis and his wife Tina were such a pleasure to work with! During the ceremony and reception I can't recall seeing them, but based on the shots I think Joe was in 2 places at the same time!
The pictures themselves are beyond stunning and really captured the emotion of the day. Joe and Tina were enthusiastic contributors to the fun, themed shots we wanted- he really understood what we were looking for, and the results surpassed what we were hoping for.
I not only recommend Joe Lewis Photography, but look forward to the next time we get to work with them again!
