I would recommend Jodi Ann Photography to all couples! I was skeptical about finding such an important vendor at a wedding fair rather than personal recommendation. I was also worried that the pricing would be out of our budget, or the lowest cost option would be bare bones. The excellent service and beautiful pictures we received proved otherwise! We chose the JA II package with Miranda, which included an engagement shoot and 6 hours of wedding day shooting. From our very first meet and greet with Miranda, she made us feel at ease by relating to us casually, rather than like a stiff professional who dictates your every move. This approach, combined with her willingness to take risks (she stood on a bridge guardrail!), resulted in candid and natural-looking pictures. She also provided guidance on more traditional posed pictures. Miranda did an excellent job of herding our family members and friends, which allowed us to take pictures with every single guest in a reasonable amount of time. After a long afternoon/evening of shooting, she still had ample energy and enthusiasm to run our photo booth for 2 hours into the night. With a smile on her face, she patiently helped all of our guests with printing and emailing their pictures. I couldn’t be happier with the logistical coordination and follow-up support that Jodi provided from beginning to end. She answered all of my questions in a patient and timely manner, including post-wedding support on how to create and share an online gallery with our guests. I would recommend Jodi Ann Photography to any couple looking for professional, efficient, and personable photographers!

Jodi and her assistant were absolutely fabulous! Jodi is incredibly kind, professional, and friendly. Her patience and amazing attention to detail are a few of Jodi's many admirable traits. She listened to everything my husband and I wanted and delivered! We are so pleased with the finished product of not only our wedding but free engagement session too! Jodi implemented every idea we had into her pictures. I've gotten so many compliments on our pictures from friends and family. My husband appreciated how comfortable she made him feel, even though he was not looking forward to being the center of attention. He felt at ease the entire time. I would HIGHLY recommend Jodi for your upcoming wedding!

She was prompt, efficient, and took beautiful photographs. She was fun to work with, and her price was well worth the quality and quantity of photographs we received. Honestly, I wish I would have spent more to have her with us all night :) I loved her pictures so much we have since had her take all our family pictures.

Jodi and her assistant Kelly were so wonderful to work with. They captured our day perfectly and made sure to capture the moments that were of most importance to us. They were both so flexible and kind. She got the pictures back to us in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.

Jodi was great to work with! Such a nice, welcoming lady who made us not worry about our photography. And I barely noticed she was at our wedding, and yet we got amazing photos!

Jodi Ann Photography is the best wedding photographer in the Twin Cities. Jodi is extremely personable, professional, fun and talented. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The weather for our wedding was not ideal, it was cold and wet outside (due to melting snow), but she managed to capture some beautiful shots regardless. We also did our first look shots inside, in a skyway, and they turned out exquisite. Jodi and her assistant probably took over 1000 pictures for our wedding, and so far, with the 40 or so we have seen, they are incredible. She does a wonderful job with capturing the candid moments, as well as the posed pictures. Our engagement pictures from this fall also turned out perfect. I would recommend Jodi Ann Photography to everyone, she is truly the best and we have gotten so many compliments on our pictures. I couldn't ask for more beautiful pictures.

Jodi is amazing to work with! We heard of her through one of my bridesmaids who had her take photos at her wedding four years prior to ours. She makes you feel so comfortable, she is flexible and genuine. For our engagement photos she was up for an adventure by taking photos of us in our canoe on our local lake, as well as hiking through Theodore Wirth park together. She came with creative ideas from past shoots and Pinterest. She was open-mined and kind. I love, love, love our photos and we are excited to have her make us a book of our wedding very soon.

I could not have been more pleased with Jodi Ann Photography! Jodi was wonderful to work with and what she produces in amazing. We didn't go with a videographer, but, I feel with the 700+ images we have, we didn't miss not having one!

I was working on a budget and she was more than willing to accommodate our needs. We also had a tight time frame after the ceremony and before the reception to shot, and she worked fast yet diligently to capture all that we wanted. Soo happy!

I would recommend her to all my friends!

Jodi was the best photographer we could ask for. She is exactly the kind of person you want to have around you all day on the most important day of your life. Jodi is such an amazing person to work with! She is very positive and it is very easy to be natural and enjoy the moment around her. She was incredibly flexible concerning our photography ideas. My husband and I were canoe guides and had our heart set on taking photos on our wedding day in a canoe. Together Jodi and I came up with some beautiful ideas on Pinterest and she took some very memorable photos. I will continue to recommend her to friends and family--as she photographed my friends wedding four years earlier!

Jodi went above and beyond for my husband and I on our wedding day as well as the engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner! There really are no words for how amazing she is as a person and at her job. Jodi was wonderful to work with. I don't even like having my picture taken and I had fun. She was very responsive to any input we had and also had some great ideas of her own. The final pictures were quite amazing. My wife and I love them all and our families are picking up a number of them as well.

We fell in love with Jodi's photos at a wedding fair, and we fell in love with Jodi's service throughout our wedding planning process. She was so sweet, and a pleasure to work with. She worked with us to come up with the best package for our price range, and I can't wait to see the final photos! If they're anything like our engagement photos, I will be SO PLEASED!!

Jodi is fantastic. She did both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures, and made the entire experience fun and relaxing. I was so impressed with Jodi. She listened to what was important to my husband and me and delivered on it. She asked in advance for photos that we couldn't do without and she got them all. She easily managed our gigantic bridal party and did it with a smile. When showing my photographs to others, time and time again, they say, "wow. she really captured your personality and the feeling of the day." I totally agree with them. Photos were lovely and she was a joy to work with.

Jodi was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was more than accommodating... willing to brave the winter elements for our engagement photos, rode on a tractor to capture special moments of our wedding day as well as traveled to our wedding location outside of the Twin Cities. She was wonder and patient - between the ring bearers, elderly grandmother and family pet. She was great in that we did not even know she was there. Her and her assistant completely blended in and thus were able to capture personal and candid photos. Would 100% recommend.

Jodi is WONDERFUL!!! We were wowed by her professionalism, while still being human - she understood that while my new husband loved to have his picture taken, I was not too thrilled about this, and that it was all really overwhelming for me - she worked with me to make me comfortable! She RAN AROUND the entire pre, during and post ceremony and was EVERYWHERE during the reception. And it showed in the amazing pictures we got.

Everything about Jodi's service was excellent. The quality of her photography is incredible and she is very professional and fun at the same time. She offers top-of-the-line service at a very reasonable cost. She caught all of the most important moments of our wedding and reception while most of our guests didn't even notice she was there. We also purchased a printed guest book that Jodi created from our favorite engagement pictures and it turned out awesome!

My husband and I absolutely loved using Jodi Ann Photography! Before the wedding she met us at the church to get an idea of the look and feel that would be created on our day. She wanted to get to know us and how she could best meet what we had in mind for our day. We absolutely loved the photojournalistic style she used to create our memories from the day. The pictures are beautiful and the album she helped create is something we will treasure for a lifetime!

Jodi was a pure joy to work with. We had an amazing experience throughtout the entire process, from engagement photos to the wedding day. We never worried about any of the details, Jodi covered everything. I think the best part of our experience was that the photography didn't interupt any of the special moments of our wedding. We loved her photo journalistic approach, creativity and warm, open personality. We will use her for all our future "life moments". Love her.....

Jodi provided excellent service from beginning to end. It was great to get to know her and become comfortable at our engagement session. Our big day was captured wonderfully, and we are so happy with the finished product. She communicated well with us throughout the planning process. We received our disc with the pictures promptly, as well as our photo book. These memories will be cherished by us, our friends and our family for years to come.

Highly Recommend!

Jodi and Miranda were wonderful to work with on our wedding day. They arrived on time and were flexible and adaptable. They helped us keep on schedule and they contributed to a fun and carefree environment. We received a large sneak peak of photos 3 days after the wedding! We highly recommend Jodi Ann Photography!

In all fairness, I have not yet seen our photos but I loved working with Jodi so much that I'd recommend her to anyone! She and her assistant were prompt, organized and relaxed which made all the difference to us.

She was incredible to work with and her photography is beautiful - great selection of traditional and photojournalist style. Not to mention she is a great, fun, nice, flexible person to work with as well. The highlight is definitely the custom albums that come with the photography package! Jodi was very fun to work with. She was very flexible in the schedule, and allowed us to make everything work. She was also great at checking in with me at various points during the social hour to see if there were other people I wanted pictures taken with. However, she also was completely in the background at other times, allowing us to be in the moment. It was a great combination.
