If I could only give one piece of advice to future brides planning a wedding, it would hands down be to hire a wedding planner... specifically Carlson & Co. They absolutely exceeded my expectations on my wedding day; everything went so smoothly, according to plan, & it was absolutely breathtaking. We received SO many compliments on our florals & decor, all of which was done by Carlson & Co’s amazing team. I have to give my biggest shout out to Angela Miller as she has been my saving grace over the past year of planning my wedding. She answered all my questions, listened to all my concerns, gave me the very best advice, & put together my fairytale wedding. I will look back on this day for the rest of my life & I will never ever forget Angela & her assistant Sydney & all the wonderful things they did for me. They really did go above & beyond, & I am forever grateful.
If you needed a sign to hire this group- here it is!! Do it!! You won’t regret it.

My Jaw Was On The Floor
We used Carlson as our florist , and knew they did phenomenal work because they did my sister’s wedding, but I still couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the bouquets and then the floral arrangements at our venue. They took my vision and executed better than I ever could have hoped. They truly transformed the room. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I could not believe how much value, quality, and professionalism Carlson brought to our wedding. James is off the charts great at leading a great organization. I used Carlson for decorations and set up and they nailed it. Between the lighting and the drapes, my venue turned into a fairytale. Megan was super helpful along the way, she met with me at the venue twice to help iron out details. She took my vision and ran with it and absolutely perfected it. When I saw the venue decorated, I was so incredibly pleased. It was perfect in every way. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Five-star November wedding
We used Carlson's for day-of-wedding planning, floral, and decorations. They made my day so special and decreased the stress of me and my family tremendously. Planning was so easy to do from out of state and the quotes were well put together and easy to read- they designed everything perfectly and were flexible throughout the entire experience. Also, I still have the florals that we purchased and dried them to keep forever!

Best floral design for a wedding I have ever seen!
James and his team were wonderful to work with. He is an amazing designer and is very attentive to the Brides vision. His design for the table arrangements and the focal arrangement over the Bar was truly a work of art. I recommend using them for all that they offer. We also rented Gold chairs, Tables, seating, lighting and the entire bar. They helped make my daughters Wedding day the best day ever!

I love Carlson’s Premier Events! My planner was Megan who has been awesome throughout the entire wedding planning process. We hired them from the very beginning so Megan was there for practically everything. She made sure that I would enjoy all the vendors and that everything would remain within budget. She was always answering my emails and phone calls whenever I needed help. She was truly perfect. During the day of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly and that everything was in its place. She had her assistant, Daniel, who was awesome as well! He answered all my questions during the reception and the ceremony and made sure I was where I needed to be at all times. He was very professional and friendly!
We also had their company for florals and rentals, and everything was decorated beautifully!! It was everything I could have wanted for my wedding. I am truly grateful for all the work they have put in for my wedding. I highly recommend them!

Look no further - this is your vendor!
Carlson's handled my wedding planning, floral, and rentals. They took immense stress off of me from day one. During our first meeting, we sat together around a table and they brought my exact visions to life. They create a folder on their computer full of pictures we found together on pinterest and from their previous work. That sounds so simple but it made me feel so good that we both had a visual right in front of us to ensure we were on the same page. They never pushed anything extra on me but also made sure we weren't leaving anything out. I probably emailed Megan way too much but I always would have random questions and she would answer them (no matter how silly) almost immediately. They did a table mock up for me to ensure I loved the look we were going for. They even went above and beyond for me - on the day of my bridal portraits, it was downpouring all day. Carlson's had nothing to do with my portraits but I sent Megan a mayday text for an inside venue idea. She immediately texted back telling me to come to their new venue and even brought in vintage couches and charis for me for the pictures! On the day of the wedding, Megan had it HANDLED. I never had to worry about a thing. She checked on me all night to see if I needed a drink, to see if she needed to keep the sweetheart table clear of guests during dinner, to ensure we had the perfect exit. She somehow did all of this without even stopping the fun I was having. She would slide in real fast to check on us and slide right back out. You absolutely have to hire Carlson's. You will have the best day ever!

It was wonderful working with Carson's Premier events for our floral arrangements. They did our bouquets and centerpieces. They delivered exactly what I asked for, and worked with me to fit it all in our budget. We weren't able to spend too much, but that didn't affect the quality and great service we received. Simply Stunning
Carlson’s Premier Events, specifically Megan DeChant, created a ceremony and wedding space that exceeded any of our expectations!
Having to plan a wedding in Savannah all the way from Chicago was definitely a challenge. Megan worked with me to nail down all the amazing details. Her level of communication put me immediately at ease. As all brides know, it’s a nerve-wracking event to plan. Once I had the first call and video chat with Megan, all of those nerves melted away. I felt immediately taken care of, heard and that I was in amazing hands. During the planning process for wedding details, she was patient and let me make as many revisions as I needed. She was helpful and had great suggestions based on her expertise. It was so reassuring that she was familiar with Savannah Station and had specific knowledge, especially since I was planning everything from out of town. I literally only went down to Savannah once over the whole process!. Megan was always in touch if I needed and only a phone call or text away. She was great about checking in even weeks before the wedding and kept me on task for planning. By the weekend of the wedding, I was so thankful because I did not feel stressed at all and could enjoy everything!
I also cannot say enough about how much I loved our florals. I ended up using Joann’s Florist, the floral company their events team works hoping it would be easier to have everything streamlined planning from out of town. I LOVED our wedding flowers and my bouquet. They were perfect for our fall wedding and exceeded all my expectations.
Megan was our day-of coordinator and the day couldn’t have gone smoother. At the rehearsal, which was at a space that wasn’t the venue, she was able to have us run through everything and created a great practice space. Her itinerary was well thought out, detailed, and ran just as planned and we felt completely comfortable as the day began. She got along so well with everyone, our parents, friends, and the kids! I HIGHLY recommend having a day of coordinator for your wedding, and Megan is perfect for the job. She also brought another assistant with her the day of, Amanda, who was just as sweet and so helpful.
When we got to the venue we were speechless. Her eye for design and color is stellar. Plus, Megan is a fantastic person to have on your side during the day. When I was getting my dress bustled, she ran and got my husband and I a drink to let us enjoy the fun before going into cocktail hour. This was just one of many thoughtful details showing how much she cares about her work and the couples she supports during their wedding day.
As with everyone we worked with in creating our big day, we feel like we have another friend down in Savannah after all this. We can’t recommend Carlson’s & Megan highly enough. They’re fantastic and will deliver a truly amazing wedding day.

INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best of the best. My wedding planner was Chelsea and she was amazing. She was available to answer any and all questions. My wedding was two days after Thanksgiving and that didn't have any effect at all. She made everything run so smooth. I was truly stress free thanks to her. I forgot to update her of my additional bridesmaids and was short two bridesmaid bouquets. She had two identical bouquets within the hour ready! Carlson's is the only people I would ever trust with my wedding day. From my flowers, to rentals, to wedding planning, they are the best. I am continuously getting comments of how beautiful everything was and it was truly all thanks to them. I had no worries at all on my wedding day and it was amazing. I can't say thank you enough.

The best piece of advice I can give to any bride is to hire a wedding coordinator for a minimum of two weeks prior to your big day. Carlson's made the entire wedding planning process smooth and easy. I cannot imagine planning without them. Their advice, assistance, and overall presence was invaluable to me during the year of planning. James and Chelsea became more like friends and they made certain that our day went just the way we had hoped. There aren't enough words to thank them for everything they did for us!

Joann’s was great for my wedding and so accomodating! Flowers were the one thing I was very particular about, made several adjustments to give me exactly what I envisioned. Great to work with and full of creative suggestions!

The farmhouse table are beautiful! We rented the Tuxedos and they went above and beyond to make sure all of them fit properly! I highly recommend!

Hiring James and Carlson Premier Events was by far the easiest and best choice we made in the process! He and his crew made our wedding absolutely beautiful and the best day of my life. They were extremely professional, assertive, and extremely patient with my husband and I during the planning. We gave them an idea and they made it happen and so much Moreno. During the wedding they made sure everything was in its place and my husband and I were waited on and taken care of. On a scale from 0-5, James and Carlson Premier Events gets 10!! We had Joann’s florist do the flowers for our daughters wedding and reception. They designed the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets beyond my expectations. Price was very reasonable. Service was impeccable and delight to work with. I highly recommend if you need a florist in the Savannah area.

We found Carlson’s by accident back in the summer of 2014! My daughter had just got engaged and we were looking for the perfect venue. While visiting the venue she ultimately chose for her big day, we were told that James Carlson was the Best in the business. My first thought was “I am sure I can’t afford him?!” After careful consideration, We made an appointment just to see, and within the first 5 min. I knew we had to have him and his team! We spent the next 16 months planning and when the big day arrived we were amazed! He took my daughter and son in laws ideas and turned them into a reality well beyond our expectations! From suggestions on vendors to furniture, lighting, linens you name it he had it all on point! He assembled the dream team and I am still hearing it was the most beautiful wedding friends and family had ever attended... until... fast forward 16 months when our other daughter became engaged! Yes TWO weddings in TWO years! It was a no brainer who we needed to call before we even told Grandma! And so it began again, the process of planning, only this wedding would take place within 9 months! So much to plan in so little time, but as before it was simple for James and his associates! Having two daughters with two totally different tastes he didn’t skip a beat figuring out EXACTLY what my daughter wanted and again exceeding every expectation we had! And again...we had a dream team of vendors and another beautiful wedding! Did I mention he also helped with a beautiful shower her sister put on for her? From start to finish, no matter what you need for the Biggest day of your life this is the first call you need to make! There are no words to describe the value and expertise you get when you hire Carlson’s for any event! I can’t wait to see what he does when my girls start having baby showers!!!

Carlson Premier Events was used for a very large corporate event and trade show. The did an outstanding job on the trade show arrangements and venue florals. Linen, rentals, set up was a breeze and the levels of customer service are what makes them one of the best planners, florist, and event rentals in the area! Will definitely use them again if we are in Savannah again!

James,Laura and the whole team are absolutely AMAZING!! My daughter knew who she wanted to design her wedding the minute she got engaged ,James Carlson!! Two years of planning resulted in the most gorgeous wedding that was way beyond our dreams!! Her first wedding date was 9-9-17, but Hurricane Irma had other plans for that day. James helped us find a new date and coordinated with all the paid vendors, even the one that gave us so much grief, to ensure everyone was there as planned. Laura is a Dream!!! She helped with all the details,even when we made changes to the designs. After several planning sessions, the day final arrived!! It took Laura and the staff 3 days to set up my daughter’s wedding but it was the most beautiful elegant wedding I have ever seen!! I could never in my life time show James,Laura and the staff at Carlson’s Premier Events/Joann’s Florist how much I appreciate and love them all for creating the dream wedding for my daughter!!

I don't know what I would have done without James! He seriously took on so many roles as the wedding planner for our big day. He helped with almost every aspect and made sure every small detail was covered. He dealt with all of the vendors like a champ, made sure our guests got to our venue safely on the bus, and followed through on every single little detail. We highly recommend Carlson's Premier Events and Rentals for wedding coordination and wedding rentals, as well as their sister company Joann's Florist for all of your wedding needs.
If you're an out of town bride (which I ended up being one - we lived in Savannah and then moved 6 months before the wedding 1,200 miles away) you will be so thankful for all of the things that Carlson's offers to make your life easier before your big day!

LOVE CPE!! After much debate, we decided that a wedding planner may be beneficial in helping us plan. We did some research and decided on a local planner who had good reviews and supposedly, a good deal of experience. She was helpful to start; however, after we had our venue double-booked and reception site cancelled, she quickly became impossible to get in touch with and uninterested. We found ourselves doing most of what we originally hired her to do, yet we still needed help. Luckily, I found Carlson Premier Events online and felt their design matched the look I was going for, so I made an appointment to meet with them. Originally, our meeting was just meant to focus on rentals; however, after meeting with James, I learned that they also provided wedding planning/floral services! I explained to them what we had been experiencing, and they offered a rundown of their services. I immediately felt confident and for the first time, stress-free! I knew that I could trust them to make our day special. Once we decided that we no longer entrusted our day to our original planner, we met with James again, and he put together the most detailed timeline and even a "table mock-up" which included live florals in order to get a feel for what our reception tables would look like. The week leading up to our wedding, James would text/call and check in on us as he didn't want us to stress. Finally, our wedding day came and James and his team did everything and MORE that was promised. I simply could not have asked for anything more as everything was incredibly seamless! The florals were fresh and wonderfully designed, and I truly did not have to worry about anything. I highly recommend Carlson Premier Events as well as Joann's Florist for anything and everything. They are true professionals, and we now consider them great friends. They saved our day, and made it so very enjoyable. Go ahead and make an appointment with James Carlson and his team--you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I just love y'all so much!! Our wedding would not have been a dream come true without y'all! Laura was amazing! She made sure not a single detail was forgotten, and kept me sane through all the postponing mess! I had to change my wedding date due to hurricane Irma and laura and james called and checked in on me and helped me find a new date quickly! I literally do not have enough kind words for this group of people!!! It was the most beautiful wedding and me and taylor are so thankful for the hard work from y'all!! I can't even begin to express how amazing James, Liz and their whole crew are! They took my simple vision and turned it into something I thought I could only dream about! My bouquet was stunning as well as my bridesmaids. Our centerpieces and the extra little details they paid attention to were just so great! Our flowers at our wedding were absolutely INCREDIBLE! JoAnn's Florist listened to exactly what we wanted for all of our bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces etc..and brought it to life. Five stars is not enough for JoAnn's! They went above and beyond to make the most gorgeous arrangements I've ever seen. From start to finish it was nothing short of a fairy tale for my wedding and the flowers exceeded my expectations! They are the best in the business! You will not find anyone better! Our knowledge of flowers and floral designs was extremely limited. Joann's Florist took our requests, pictures and ideas and created a beautiful, mystifying pergola and reception hall area. All flowers, including the table centerpieces bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres were exquisite. Their freshness endured the July heat and remained gorgeous. We had nothing to do except enjoy the scenery and guests! Exceptional quality and experience provided by this vendor.

The staff really helped us in making our dream become a reality! The flowers were gorgeous and they enabled me to stay within my budget. When I began planning my wedding, I knew I wanted florals to be one of the main decorations, statement if you will, on my big day. I hired Joann's florist in conjunction with Carlson's Premier Events. Upon our first meeting with James, I knew the colors but not the vision. Based on few photos, James and his team at Joann's made it happen. They even did a table mock up for me so I could see the center pieces come to life. Everything from my center pieces to the corsages were outstanding. And not to mention my bouquet was more perfect than I could have ever dreamed!!! My wedding guests noticed and mentioned how gorgeous they were as well and for that I am forever grateful.

The florals for our wedding were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. Two months later, people are still telling me how beautiful the flowers were. Joann's staff were extremely professional, prompt, and perfect - not a petal was out of place the whole evening. We would recommend them to anyone!

Highly reccomend Carlson's! James was our wedding coordinator and it was a perfect wedding thanks to him! He handled everything and made the day worry free for us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this awesome company. We also used them for set up and clean up, linen and chair rental, up lighting, and decorations. Carlson's is definately the best!

Joann's Florist was so kind and gracious from the beginning of our interactions. We planned a short notice wedding due to an upcoming military deployment and had 4 weeks to plan a full scale wedding. Our florist took my vision for my bouquet and made it a reality and better. She incorporated so many beautiful flowers to create the color and texture I was looking for. Our boutonnieres and wrist corsages were special and had the right touches for my family.

I had the pleasure of working with James & Liz Carlson and their team for our recent wedding in May. During the planning process, both James & Liz were supportive & brought great, reasonably budgeted ideas to the table. We had a certain budget to work with & they made it possible.
Everything to the flowers, table set up, seating arrangements, to the details on the table was perfect. Anyone who came to our wedding, or have seen our photos, described it as "magical" & it truly was!!
I 100% recommend to go with partial planning with CPE. I know a lot of ladies who think they can pull of planning a full wedding on their own and just go with day of coordination. With the help of CPE, I did not sweat the small stuff with the partial planning arrangement. I was always reassured that things would be taken care.

James and his staff are the most accommodating team I have ever worked with. They think of everything. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and last a long time. Very custom to our desires, color matching was perfect to the girls dresses. I have used James and both of his companies many times and they are my go to folks for things done right. This is a review from both my husband and myself:
We are both grateful that we found James and his team. They made the whole process for our destination wedding in Savannah far less stressful than it had to be. Our families did not have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. We were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the day (he and his team even made sure that both of us were able to eat and relax). The day of the wedding it rained before the ceremony; once the rain passed he and his team were out with leaf blowers drying the ceremony site so that we could still hold it outdoors. They went above and beyond the call of duty and made the day incredibly memorable for ourselves and our families. James and his wife Liz know their business and they have created a fantastic team.
Carlson Premiere Events/Joann's Florist provides a service and a friendship. James Carlson is personable, reliable, diligent, and resourceful. On our first meeting, he provided us with a consultation and a recommendation to shop around for the right wedding planner; he even gave us a list of questions to ask to make sure we are getting what we want out of a planner. He asked for our budget and we never had to mention the budget again. At the end of it all, he was even able to come in under budget. He was a ton of fun to work with and made sure that neither us or the guests were stressed through any part of the process, especially during the wedding. If you only want one wedding in your life, make sure it’s with Carlson Premiere Events; if you are on your 2nd or more, then take joy in using James again. James Carlson made the wedding memorable, fun, and worry-free for all. He was within budget and on time. He understands the industry and the locality as well as the trends for multiple styles of arrangements. He is very conscientious of the religious and social implications of a married couple, even when they conflict. At minimum, at least make an appointment to talk with James.

I chose Joann's after looking at several florists on wedding wire as I really liked the photos a lot of brides had chose to post. I was very pleased with the level of service Joann's Florist provided.
Laura of Carlson's events was very responsive via email as was the owner James. I requested to have a vase swapped out and James was very accommodating. Everyone I interacted with was very professional and polite.
The flowers arrived on time the day of the wedding and Joann's even provided a few extra boutonnieres, which I ended up using. The flowers looked lush and fresh - no drooping even at the end of the night. Everyone thought the flowers were gorgeous - a mix of dahlias, peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas (for filler), small roses and winter berries along with eucalyptus for greenery. My bouquet survived the flight home (this was a destination wedding in Savannah) and still looks great even after 5 days!
