Jordan did such a wonderful job making me feel and look amazing on my wedding day. She was so flexible with our ever changing schedule and really helped to ease my stresses on my big day. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great hairstylist and makeup artist. -

Jordan was great! She’s personable and quick and very talented! Everyone felt beautiful on our wedding day! It’s also so nice to have a makeup artist that is passionate about skin care. She pays attention to each individual face and compliments your features. I was so happy with her work! -

I love going to Jordan! She is the best of the best! I’ve been to her for several months and for a variety of services. Eyelashes, facials, skin products (her knowledge) nutrition/fitness and brows etc!! Love her and refuse to go to anybody else! -

Jordan did a fantastic job and made me feel so beautiful on my special day and I couldn't be more grateful. She made sure throughout the event we had all the necessary touchups needed for photographs. She is an absolute professional in beauty and skin care, an expert in all skin tones and I would hire her again for any event I need to look my best. -

Wedding hair and make up
I have known Jordan for many years and when I had a date for my wedding I KNEW I had to see if she was available to doll me up for the big day. She was and she did not disappoint! I looked flawless and every time I look back at my wedding photos it is my favorite look to date. -

I never felt more beautiful!
Jordan is extremely good at what she does. She did my bridal makeup and my 6 bridesmaids makeup and everyone kept commenting on how stunning they felt. She is the perfect mix of professional and fun and I’m so grateful for her skill set on my big day! Recommend her 1000x over! -

I went in to see Jo.Z for a trial hair and make up. I was less than impressed with the entire experience. She was running about 30 mins behind so we waited and when I walked in she was already rushing things. I don’t know much about hair or make up so I came in with clean hair and nothing on my face. Right off the bat she told me it would be impossible to work on my hair and get the result I wanted due to it. She said she normally lets people know not to wash their hair, I was not informed which she acknowledged. So like she said my hair looked absolutely nothing like I’d hoped and the entire time she complained about how thin and frizzy my hair was. I was willing to get over this because I then understood, okay next time don’t wash my hair. We then went into make up, she looked at the picture and told me it would be “easy peasy” only then she started to tell me my skin was dry, all the products I was using...wrong, bad. I needed to buy her skin products and do her facials. I also already have very long eyelashes and never needed nor wanted fake eye lashes but they got jammed on my eyes anyways even after saying I didn’t need them, and the physically hurt my eyes so there is no way they were applied right. The whole time she was quickly applying my make up she tried to sell me her skin products and ultimately made me feel bad because “my skin was just soo dry”. I moisturizer twice a day there is no way it was just too dry. Only felt like she was saying these things to again make me feel like I needed to buy her product. Once done, I looked in the mirror and wanted to cry. Again the make up was nothing close to what I asked, I specifically said rose golds before she started and she used nothing but browns on me. My hair was a mess that just fell out, my make up was a grey tone on my skin and was all completely wrong for my complexion and what I asked. Even after admitting my hair didn’t look correct, and me showing her the picture again and her saying “ooohh” she simply started packing up her things and charged me $150 for this disaster. The only thing she said she could do was book me a second trial to try it again. It was not my fault my hair and make up looked the way it did. I drove over an hour to get to her and I was so disappointed with how I got talked to the whole time, how I looked, and how I felt about myself after. This is my wedding hair and make up, I want to look and feel beautiful! The entire time she did nothing but make me feel less than beautiful just to sell me her skin products and then to send me on my way telling me to book another trial if I wasn’t happy with this one. Why on earth would I spend another $150 dollars when she rushed me, didn’t listen to anything I wanted, and was honestly critical of me during this trial? I was really excited to try her but now I’m just feeling stressed and let down, now having to find someone else in just the couple month I have left, who will take their time and listen to my requests. I’m not a picky person and would’ve been happy with about anything, that’s why I am so disappointed. She didn’t even measure up or try to measure up to the low standard I already had set. If I am unable to find anyone else I would rather take a swing at doing my own hair and make up then go to her and look and feel the way I did when I was done.
After reviewing she also sent me this text message.
“ Hi Ashley, this is Jordan from last weekends trial! Thank you for that amazing review!! I hope you reflect on your behavior towards people in your life where you feel it’s your responsibility to aid in ruining peoples businesses all because of one bad experience. How many times does a restaurant screw up an order and you’re understanding of it and don’t write a giant review to complain. Or maybe you are the kind of person who does that. To clarify again, I said the second trial is free due to circumstances like this so jumping to conclusions and writing a review before contacting me and leaving that kind of review is just tacky + writing a novel over one bad experience is such a Karen response. Also your skincare isn’t helping your skin, and if we had more time\before your wedding day id have given you a list of ingredients you don’t have to buy from me that would help out a great deal! I would have been more than happy to do a second trial on you for free and go over all additional info and details or to even refund you the initial $150 had you asked. So as a consolation, I’d love to go ahead and refund you that $150 on the condition that you remove your review. $150 is a small price to pay to have good reviews and If you were the kind of person who writes bad reviews to get something for free you should have just said so. I’d much rather work for free than deal with this. Also a tip for next time: say you want rose gold up front not after, ask questions and understand that not everyone sees the same colors as you do and it’s best to communicate before you escalate things. Let me know when you’ve gone ahead and removed that review and I’ll be sure to issue you a refund today. Happy Friday! “
Also received this text once letting her know I would update the review with her first text message.
“Please do! I stand by my work and what I replied to on the site. You’ve been blocked and I’m on the phone with weddingwire. Good luck in finding someone who is a mind reader and can devote the hours needed to give you what you want. Just remember to communicate properly next time😊”
Again I leave reviews if I feel it is necessary not because I want to ruin a business. I chose to keep my review up so and she can keep my money. I stand by my review. If it was amazing or if I felt even like she was nice during the experience I would’ve left her a better review or just booked her for my wedding. But I left my review based on my true thoughts and feelings. It is not my responsibility to ensure she does her job properly. She also did NOT state a another trial would be free, so that one thing I will retract, she was not planning on charging me to drive all the way back to Kirkland to let her try again. But because I write an honest review of my experience which left me crying in my car, she resorted to calling me names, continuing to ridicule me and make me feel bad about myself. I definitely stand by this review and would knock her down for professionalism after this. If truthful reviews can be taken down with a phone call from her then I really wouldn’t trust any of her reviews on her page. But I’ll be a “Karen” if that’s what being honest with an experience means. -
